Samsung’s mascot, Samantha, has gained attention on social media since its viral launch in 2021. Known as Samsung Girl or Samsung Girl, she is a 3D representation of a virtual assistant dressed in a black Samsung Galaxy shirt and striking various poses while holding Samsung devices. Created by Lightfarm in collaboration with Samsung’s marketing company Cheil, Sam is not an AI avatar but a 3D mascot designed and presented by visual arts production.
Sam is not intended to replace Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby, or a new viral mascot for the company. However, renders of her character model have surfaced via HITC, and the thirsty denizens of the company are eagerly awaiting her arrival. Samsung has also registered a new trademark for its mascot, G-nusmas, which resembles a small alien with blue skin. As it stands, Samsung Girl will not replace Bixby but rather serve as an advertising mascot.
Sam, the 3D avatar that caused excitement on social media, is now the company’s virtual tech blogger. The character, known as Samantha, is an attractive girl with bright eyes and a perky woman who has gone viral on the internet. Samsung and Lightfarm have ended any relations with the character, but Samantha is expected to become more widely known as the company’s virtual tech blogger.

She doesn’t even look like anything special, just a hyper realistic anime girl. What’s impressive is how well she’s modeled! The creases on her shirt and clothes look so realistic.. and her expressions are really well done too. With my limited knowledge of 3d rendering and modeling, I could never lol.
