Sam is not intended to replace Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby, or a new viral mascot for the company. However, renders of her character model have surfaced via HITC, and the thirsty denizens of the company are eagerly awaiting her arrival. Samsung has also registered a new trademark for its mascot, G-nusmas, which resembles a small alien with blue skin. As it stands, Samsung Girl will not replace Bixby but rather serve as an advertising mascot.
