I wouldn’t say zero tails has the most chakra, it just has a way to mostly regenerate any used chakra while fighting effectively wearing down the opponents instead of battling against it. Let’s say the zero tails have a pool of 100 chakra and 9 tails has a pool of 1000 chakra. Despite having the most chakra and can output a greater volume, he will eventually run out but the zero tails wouldn’t. So the better question in my opinion would be what tailed beast can regen the most chakra faster.
I mean… People think that the tailed beast are the only weird creatures in the Naruto world. But there are the summons, creatures like the dream devourer that Danzo summoned on his fight with Sasuke. While that Is in legend, that was a pretty weird creature and who knows what else could be out there.

This is the farthest thing from accurate its not even funny. 1st, it’s not a Tailed Beast, so no it doesn’t count. 2nd, it can still run out of chakra as it’s not an infinite source that expands a planet. It has a limit that can be easily reached unlike the 10 ten tails. 3rd, it’s stated BY the show that the 10 tails had the most chakra and can produce the lost chakra at a tremendous rate producing near unlimited amounts of chakra. The zero tails is just a human hatred fed with chakra to act like a beast. Its not a natural tailed beast. Other than the Ten tails, nine tails has the most chakra about 50% of the Ten tails and that is even why Hashirama kept the 9 tails for the Hidden Leaf and distributed the rest because he knew the 9 Tails is equivalent to all other tailed beasts together and if you want more proof Madara could have captured more tailed beasts with his EMS but only chose Kurama because he knew it was the strongest among them.

It probably has more to do with character design than the actual story, but I always just assumed it’s because Naruto is wielding Kurama’s power through himself. He isn’t entering his bijuu mode as much as he’s just websiteing more raw power. It’s why he’s just as strong without having Kurama manifested in his full tailed beast form. It makes sense that only he can do it since he’s the only one with chakra reserves large enough to actually handle that much power. I’m pretty sure he’s the only one given a tailed beast at birth too.
Minato is also a perfect toad sage so that wouldnt make much sense. It would most likely be the ritual naruto had to do which killer bee didnt have to do because he saw no benefit to getting another jinchuuriki form. For a cloak transformation, the jinjuricki and the beast need excess about of chakra flow. 9 tail know to be with high chakra reservation and also minato and naruto have sage mode that can acquire some of natural chakro from the surrounding. If any jinjuricki have that much chakra maybe they can also attain that mode also.
When lord 4th sealed the ninetails in naruto he did a seal that was special, it was stated by in first Naruto really quick and nonchalant. Orochimaru took a look at Naruto’s seal and deduced lord 4th made it so that nine tails chakra and narutos own chakra will funnel directly into Narutos chakra pool, it allows the chakra to mix with his own, this is why he has a chakra kurama mode. Bee also had chakra mode his color was dark grey ass 8 tail was grey….he didn’t used it as much because it was not his fighting style. While Naruto along with his fighting depending on speed and the sage training KCM made much sense to use. Also GAgra’s absolute defence was also his chakra mode, he never made his peace with Shikoku,so it never went to the absolute level like KCM. Also Kuram was 9 tail alone equal to other 8 beasts.
Also, he’s not the only sage in that body. Karama went through all of the sage training with him. That’s the reason Naruto has a better sage mode than Jeriah. This is actually demonstrated during battle. One of them can meditate maintaining the sage mode while the other conducts the battle. It’s similar to what Ma and Pa toad can do, except it’s all internal.
I always thought since Asura had a similar mode without being Kurama’s jinchuriki that it was his essence mixed perfectly with Naruto and Asura’s chakras getting a whole new form of biju cloak with Minato getting it because he had Kurama’s other half which was still connected to his Yang half despite not being whole. But like the others in this list that’s just a theory.
It’s just because he is the protagonist and we need to still see him. Also, Kurama become a character with a proper arc in the last part of the manga and we need to separate his thoughts and emotions from the one of Naruto, so if Naruto had a final form as the other jinchuriki, the audience could be confused.
The reason why outside of universe is based on the concept of “Celestial Fox”. Essentially, after 1000 years (Kurama was separated from the Ten-Tails a thousand years prior), the Kitsune (Fox) can become an Amatsu Kitsune (Celestial Fox) after reaching enlightenment and facing many hardships. This likely is reference to Naruto following the ways of the Sage of Six Paths instinctively, desiring love. It’s said that when a Kitsune becomes an Amatsu Kitsune, it’s fur turns golden (Or in some myths, white) and it ascends to the heavens to be canonized as a demi-god. Now, that’s just the out-of-universe explanation. The in-universe explanation is likely just that the beast has far more chakra than any other Tailed-Beast, in so much that, even divided into a yin and yang half, each half is STILL far superior to most if not all other Tailed Beasts. It’s not even close. It’s likely just that Kurama is in another realm of power all on his own.

Chakra Mode is due to Uzumaki’s fuinjutsu to seal Kurama. We all know that the Yang Otsutsuki have Chakra Mode while the Yin Otsutsuki has Sage Mode. This is shown by Naruto and the Uzumakis, Toneri (which hints that the Uzumaki is Hamura’s branch family) and Kinshiki. It would’ve been great had Kaguya shown her Yang affinity feats like the Tenseigan and Chakra Mode/Armaments but Kishi didn’t want to spoil the movies. Regardless, Kurama having Chakra Mode isn’t his inherent power but due to Minato and Kushina sealing him with Uzumaki’s forbidden jutsu. Mito can use Kurama and it wouldn’t give her a Chakra Mode because she didn’t have him under the Reaper Death Seal.
I think this is just because kurama don’t have a unique chakra form or kekkei genkai (like sand or magma) and his bijuu form would only be using bijuu-dama and teeth, so for keep using all the rasengan variety and to not have boring fights and without rasengan. For example killer bee can’t use chakra sword in the bijuu form, but only bijuu-dama.
Bruh….what are these comments?….they explained it in the manga and show. In order to get a “Chakra Mode” You have to go through a process where either 2 things happen: Either the jinchuriki internally battles the tailed beast through a chakra tug of war, and STEALS that vast amount of chakra, for the chakra mode, or, through some form of positive relationship, the tailed beast GRANTS the user that chakra for the chakra mode.. He’s the only one that can do chakra mode because he’s the only one that decided to first steal the chakra, and then, became friends making it even stronger. Killer bee literally just decided to make his chakra not show in that form. And in the war, the other half of kurama’s chakra just instantly understood the part that was in naruto, and GAVE it to minato. That’s how it works.
But… Bee does use a chakra mode/cloak… albeit a less perfect version, so its styling doesn’t look as “finished”. He literally does it ALL the time… Cant remember if it is canon or not, as I havent read anything in a while, but I do remember reading somewhere that Kukan even perfects the 8 tails chakra mode/cloak, and gains a styling that looks VERY similar to Naruto, just a different colour.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s just because they didn’t have the balls to cut their main character from all the scenes Kurama would have been in. Frankly I was looking forward to a real nine tails unleashed fight, and never got it because of the chakra mode cop out. One of many disappointments brought to be by the fourth great shinobi war arc.
I have another theory. Hear me out. Lazy writing and the author completely neglecting other characters. Not expanding on the other junchuuriki and tailed beasts and fleshing out their potential. The author even discarded Sage mode to an extent, and made Naruto a one note character where he just powers up and glows Yellow now and does non-stop rasengan, despite having wind natured chakra, couldn’t even bothered to have him learn more wind techniques etc. Even other interesting characters were dumped by the way side. You dont have to bend over backwards like a pretzel coming up with theories, when it’s clearly the quality of the writing with certain characters or lack thereof by the author.
I wonder if it’s because Naruto can handle the immense chakra and moves of a tailed beast in his human form, where as most people would become overwhelmed by it. One of the shinobi commented on Naruto making a beast bomb from his KCM form saying they never heard of a jinchuriki being able to handle that chakra in their human form. Naruto already has a plethora of his own chakra which may have prepared his body to handle kuramas as well.
Nahh dont ever forget that kurama was such a lazy fox. In my opinion, it was just kurama didnt want to getting involve directly onto the battle, as full transformation would be the tailed beast itself handling the fight. I believe it has to do with how the nine tails was sealed. Minato wanted to give Naruto the power of the nine tails to use and eventually master. There’s no real answer plot wise but writing wise it looks more bad ass to have the cloak rather than transforming to a giant fox. Also adds some lore to the Uzumaki clan, their techniques, and how strong Minato was. Main reason is he’s Naruto he can do what he wants it’s his show and the plot bends to him😂

I’m pretty sure it’s because he only has half of Kurama sealed inside him. Therefore not granting him the same powers as other Jinchuriki who can activate different phases with their tailed beast. The reason why before gaining control of KCM, when he was enraged it would look the same as other Jinchuriki, was because that was Kurama taking over his body in a attempt to re-encarnate as a fully wild tailed beast, like 3 Tails. I’m pretty sure Killer Bee explained it in the Storm games.
Not only does he combine Sage power with Kurama’s power, but he ALSO has his own innate powers from being a child of the Uzumaki clan and Namikaze clan. Strong genetics are in his blood all the way to the core. It’s what makes him so OP. He’s just like Kurosaki Ichigo when you think about it. A blessing of happenstance with nothing but lots of buffs.
Actually I think it’s because Naruto’s condensing kurama’s chakra inside his body to the point where he enters KCM mode that is the form where he first attained it by taking chakra from Kurama then he gets KCM mode 2 that is the form when he gets keramas approval and uses it at its full power with only half of the nine tails if he had both nine tails it will look like what it did in the movie when Naruto goes to the moon
I think it was mainly done for visual clarity. It is far more interesting to the viewer to see the main character’s expression when they react to something and the way they move their body around which wouldn’t be possible if he is in his proper tailed beast transformation without the transparent form. Yeah they did it with Killer Bee but he didn’t have nearly as long of a screen time as Naruto did so that would be okay. Plus, he can create multiple arms from that form which look cool but would look very awkward if it was the actual Nine Tails manifestation.

Minato didn’t seal half of kurama inside him. All of it’s is inside naruto, but when he being edo tensei he got also completed kurama inside him because he was once a kurama jinchuriki. But it’s still doesn’t explain how he able to use KCM and how kurama is still inside him and all. This is one of the most bigest plot hole in the series.

From what I’ve noticed in the manga this is False. All the Jinchuriki have a complete Kubi mode. All of them did not master it. Naruto mastered his, Gaara could complete his at a young age, but couldn’t control it as seen in the early chunin exams in Naruto. Chances are he can now after the war. Yugito Nii the two tails was able to control hers as well. Killer Bee who helped teach Naruto how to unlock it had shown he able to do partial transformations and a mastered Kubi “Cloak” mode. Yet, not a Chakra Transformation. During the war arc when he stopped the Raikage’s lightning punch by partial transforming his hand. He did not master a complete version of the 8 tailed Kubi Chakra Mode. They all appear different. Naruto’s mother guided Naruto the rest of the way in training to master it. Notice when hashirama trap tail beast he use the giant red gates that even held off 10 tails before obito became its jinchuuriki & Naruto after using the key minato left for Him unlocking the seal beating kurama with kushina & bee u notice when Naruto lock the seal turning it around after taking over giant red gates drop knocking kurama down . We get a flash back one shot manga of kushina loosing control she leave outside the sealing circle which was in da middle of village powered her gold uzumaki sealing chains that wasn’t strong enough yet so she lost control + her will wasn’t strong at the time earlier she saw females flirting with minato & got jealous not knowing he was learning a new jutsu for her “rasengan ” Anyway when she lost control minato place the same sealing on her going into the inner space fighting kurama & kurama say “he didn’t realize a ninja that rival hashirama lived in the era ” We also saw minato with the same KCM minato learn multiple jutsu from uzumaki clan known for powerful sealing jutsu & the 8 trigram seal is another hidden fuinjutsu only clan members know even orochimaru learn a couple of their jutsu he use one during war arc when switching bodies with a zetsu that had hashirama DNA .
So of course the current jinchuuriki who all older than Naruto wouldn’t have the same KCM when Naruto ain’t gain the 8 trigram sealing till after they already had tail beast + the only two people who know of the sealing ⚰️. Every village have special ways of sealing tail beast inside jinchuuriki like the sand village had lady chiyo use the tea kettle thing still gaara can’t sleep or 1 tails will eat away his personality taking over so he got bags under his eyes . Son goku tail beast usually live with their jinchuuriki for a long time in a sealed cave at least ik with the first two jinchuuriki. Anyway Naruto totally different his mother was full uzumaki so A lot of chakra made to be jinchuuriki & Naruto only half uzumaki bt since his mother was the jinchuuriki before him + was pregnant with him while kurama was apart of her his chakra mixed well with 9 tails why Naruto,boruto & himawari got whiskers .
My oppinion is that 9 tail chakra mode was meant for the person worthy of it’s extraordinary as for tailed beasts power. That’s why kurama was the tailed beast that hated humans the most. He was the most difficult one to convince to give you power and as a reward you got the chakra mode. It makes sense as you look at other beasts. shukaku was the weakest and also was the one that was easiest to covince to give you power as all he wanted is cause mayhem. Kurama on the other hand hated people to the point that he didn’t want to lend that power even to cause mayhem. He didn’t want to lend that power to anyone, regardless of their intent.
