Three potential ways to sue if your constitutional rights are violated include a lawsuit under Section 1983, a lawsuit under Section 504 of the False Claims Act, or a lawsuit under Section 1983. Rite Aid Corporation has adopted an internal grievance procedure for prompt and equitable resolution of grievances alleging any action prohibited by Section 504. The complaint, brought to the Justice Department by a whistleblower under the False Claims Act, alleges Rite Aid pharmacists filled hundreds of prescriptions. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Tanzin v. Tanvir that government officials and employees generally cannot violate the civil rights of people who interact with them. The civil settlement includes the resolution of claims that certain Rite Aid pharmacies in Washington State violated the False Claims Act (FCA) by filling prescriptions written by knowingly filling unlawful prescriptions for controlled substances.

Why does Rite Aid lose money?
Rite Aid is facing financial difficulties due to factors beyond its control, including record inflation, lower insurer payments, higher labor costs, lower demand for COVID vaccines and retail merchandise, higher theft, and the loss of key corporate clients. The chain has long-term leases for no-profit stores, including $80 million a year for closed stores. Rite Aid is relying on bankruptcy to exit these deals. Rumors of bankruptcy have also surfaced after hiring restructuring advisers in late 2022, and suppliers have demanded cash payments upfront instead of waiting for the company to sell their goods.

📹 Rite Aid May Skirt THOUSANDS Of Opioid Lawsuits With Bankruptcy Filing
The Wall Street Journal reported that Rite Aid faces over a thousand individual lawsuits for it’s history of dispensing opioids.
The vast majority of opiod deaths are from ILLEGAL DRUG DEALERS INVOLVING FENTANYL AND CARFENTANIL, not from prescription drugs. It’s disgusting that TYT defends the real drug dealers but goes after Rite-Aid WHICH ONLY SELLS THE PRESCRIPTION THAT WERE PRESCRIBED BY DOCTORS. They have no responsibility in this, they are simply filling prescriptions thar doctors pushed. They DID NOT create these drugs or PROACTIVELY market them.
This is government wanting free money to waste and say their doing it to help people and people believe this now doctors won’t treat anyone that need pain medicine so let’s lets make pot legal so you can get it anywhere, Doctors don’t want to deal with all the requirements to give people that need pain meds, I have lupus no doctor wants to see me because of this I’m a drug addict because of my lupus pain.
How and why are pharmacies liable? Their role is simply to fill the prescriptions that PHYSICIANS write, after BIG PHARM reps told those physicians bald-faced lies about opioids being non-addictive when taken as prescribed. MD’s and big pharm hold the bag here, not the drugstores that simply fill the scripts. I mean, what are pharmacies supposed to do? Play doctor with their customers and second-guess the treatment their physicians are recommending? Do we really want drugstores to become ad hoc physicians?? I don’t.
I dont know anybody that died from covid but i know like 50 people that died since oxy got pushed on the public. Eye 4 an eye 👁 people they committed genocide just like whoever is making drug dealers use fentanyl. Here’s how it worked cause im from the street you find the right DOCTOR or pharmacist that is corrupt he will give you the script and you will pay a fee they will tell you to make sure you hold on to one or 2 so when you come back and he takes your blood it has it in it. The pharmacist different story they will just sell you it on the low i dont know if they tap peoples scripts or if they make it but i do know its a thing. So is paying police to let you sell. And thats what makes me believe black baby mortality rate is not higher cause they less healthy (while dominant in every sport) but because rich people get away with murder genocide and we say peacefull 😢we will all lose fascist are winning and they are less but they turn people everyday cause whats so scary nothing bad happens to em 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
When are they going to start the antidepressant crisis? Half a billion lives each year are destroyed by antidepressants and there isnt anything being done. I know several who had small lawsuits and ended up with around 7k but the damage that antidepressants do should be worthy of millions if not more. I dont even think 10m would help me because the damage has been done and its been over 5 years since i took an antidepressant and my life has been completely destroyed. Lets stop talking about mostly intentional overdoses and talk about lives being ruined.
That’s insidious. Corporations make obscene profits at the expense of everyone else, pay out their dividents to their already incredibly wealthy investors, then file for bankruptcy once their unethical business practices cost them too much. Doesn’t matter to the wealthy, they still got their cut while the business was operating and they’ll never be held accountable for the damage that gaining those dividends caused. Not even the executives are held liable. This keeps elites sheltered from the consequences of corporate liability, which is how they make their money. The rich keep getting richer, everyone else gets poorer, and business as usual keeps getting shadier. And none of our “representatives” do a damn thing about it.
How? How are they responsible for it. They’re doing their jobs. They don’t write the prescriptions it’s the doctors who wrote the script’s that are responsible and their lobbiest or marketing agents and big pharma who are responsible. Providing the medication is not the problem. I just don’t understand how America has lost it’s mind. No it’s the medicine manufacturing companies that are pushing it. Okay the pharmacies did dispense the medication. That’s what they do. If it’s a lawful script issued by a licensed medical doctor. How is Riteaid responsible for the wrongs done by others when did they have the intent to break the law, or kill. People have adverse reactions all the time. Did they warn and give written information and advice when asked. If they did they are not the issue. I think someone is overstepping bigly😮
Id be all for a billionaire funding the move of all you good americans, building a massive housing complex in one of our outer city suburbs (just making it inner city eventually because of expantion) boosting our economy, filling all these needed job roles here in AUS and benifitting off our healthcare system. Youd save the money for a house over here with the money you all lose on the rediculous housing, medication and in low incomes over there. You can still own guns here ffs and we probably have more freedom
Companies filing for brankruities first pay Wall Street, because Wall Street will Support the Bankrupt Companies afterwards because they got paid. This is what xtrump did 40 years ago. Trump paid off Wall Street first, before the Banks on Atlantic City Casino’s. US Banks got feed up with Trump antics, and stop lending him money. Then trump and Putin made a deal with Deutche Bank to fund xtrump. Russian money laundering for xtrump. Trump has his name on properties, but who finance it. Not Trump. 8 bankruptcies on all his businesses. No Bank gives you a loan. What did xtrump and Replubicians in Congress do increase the National Debt by 10 trillion dollars. 7.8 trillion dollars in office, but the tax cuts for the rich and Companies lasted 2 years into Biden presidency. That’s how you get 10 trillion dollars. Now Replubicians in Congress want to blame Biden for the US debt and not pay bills that they spent. Replubicians are blaming Biden so they can win in 2024. Replubicians want to spend another 10 trillion dollars for a republican president. All you poor Replubicians did that 10 trillion dollars help you of course not. Biden infrastructure bill pays back to the US Government. US infrastructure used to be the best in 1980 but not enough money was spent to keep it updated. Even Replubician States are out of money to repair bridges. Do you want to be on that Replubician bridge when it collapse. Replubicians have learned nothing from the pass. Just like Jan 6 inserection, you didn’t have to go, but you did.
Another gorgeous dress Ana. So 45’s reworking of Nafta agreement is beginning to bear fruit? In the not so distance future their will be no regulations for mega corporations. Unions will be abolished and sued for interfering with share holder profit. Sounds more like tachism dictatorship. The Roman legions. Hitler left some seed to sprout. Funny how the human species cannot get beyond war, greed, and the repeating of history. Great show Guy’s. I will stay tuned.
