📹 Michael Jordan laughing at Gary Payton on The Last Dance | Netflix
Don’t forget to like and subscribe! Michael Jordan has created a new meme from his recent Netflix show on “The Last Dance”.
Scary how confident Jordan was and still is. This was pretty savage to literally laugh at the guy, but it’s true. Looking back at the decade of the 90s, it’s astonishing how many NBA stars failed to get a ring because this man was unstoppable. Houston was lucky that he briefly retired, but had he not, it would have been a complete sweep of that decade by the Bulls.
This was the gem of the show right here…this one moment made that documentary even more legendary & solidified Jordan’s legacy even more. If anything, this made people love him even more because of his relentlessness & brashness….i don’t know why he thought this would paint him in a bad light, maybe because of the Gatorade commercials & the pristine image they painted of him but man i love both sides of Mr. Jordan
This has to be the funniest jordan moment, that mocking laugh is too funny.. Never seen anything that devastating and repudiating in nature.. Doesn’t matter what GP thought – right or not, and whether MJ believes it or not.. GP guarded him pretty well being undersized. Pat Bev would be proud! Bev said LBJ is “no challenge” to a reporter – consecutive times. Where’s LBJ with a tablet to do a Jordan Mock laugh of that? Link anyone?
Jordan has the right to be dismissive because he won and that’s the kind of person he is, always confident and never backing down; but the rest of the people should know better. Payton did a wonderful job at him the last three games. That MJ still prevailed is more of a testament of him being more than a scorer and the Bull being an incredible team.
Say what you want, but the Bulls were up 3-0 before Payton guarded him, and lost the following 2 once Payton started guarding MJ. Payton didn’t guard Jordan over the first three games of the series due to a calf injury. The Bulls went up 3-0. Jordan was averaging 31.0 points and 5.0 assists on 46% shooting from the field and 50% from 3. Payton became the primary defender- Jordan’s averages dropped to 23.7 points, 3.3 assists and 36.7% shooting from the field…… and only made one 3 the rest of the series. Great meme though.
He can laugh all he wants but the most points he had against an injured Gary Payton in those finals was 26. Rodman bailed him out in Game 6 with those 19 rebounds. 96 Bulls just had the better team but people want to believe Jordan is the reason they won all those titles. I remember a time when Jordans Bulls were getting bounced early in the playoffs before Pippen and the front office built a better team around him.
I don’t think his reaction was mean spirited at all. They used to jaw at each other as peers and talk shit. No harm no foul. He’s laughing because he wishes GP was there for him to come back at with some smack talking. People reading so much into this like it was a “savage dismissive laugh” or whatever just don’t understand people who can talk shit to each other and still respect each other and be friendly. Anybody who has played sports knows whats up.
MJ is full of it. The Glove clamped him down in games 4-6 when he was the primary defender on Mike. MJ had torched Hersey Hawkins who was guarding him in games 1-3 but look at the shooting stats in games 4-6. I think Jordan shot 37% and Seattle won 2 of those 3. The Glove made his mark but Coach Karl waited too long to switch that defensive assignment.
Jordan is type of person that will never respect you no matter what. Even if you beat him or give him a challenge. His arrogance, ego, and pride won’t allow his to. The reasons for this is because he can hide behind his loyalties and die hard fan base. We (yes I’m a Jordan lover 😂) will vilify and downplay his failures. Like the 1995 season when he returned and lost to Magic. But he wasn’t in shape although he dropped 55 points on Knicks and hit a game against the Hawks.
God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). We’re not sinners because we sin, but rather we sin because we’re sinners. Sin is the nature of our flesh that we are born with due to the sin of Adam in the garden. For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and the the law demands death for those who sin (Romans 6:23). God is righteous, so He must punish our sin, which is what He did through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus is Holy and sinless, yet He received our sin when He died on the cross, so that we can be righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). When He died on the cross, He said “It is finished” (John 19:30), which means He paid the full price for all of your sins (past, present, and future) to be forgiven. He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24).
