Legality Of Tarot Reading In Texas?

Tarot reading and fortune-telling are legal in Texas, but they are not regulated or prohibited by law. The information provided by the reader should not be considered professional, legal, or medical. Tarot card readers are not clergymen and do not pretend to know the future. Most jurisdictions require psychics to obtain occupational licenses to charge people for their services and pay taxes on the income derived from them.

There are still some states (Pennsylvania) where Tarot reading and/or fortune-telling are prohibited by law, premised that both are “fraud”. However, if the Tarot reading is medical, legal, or financial in nature, the client should refer them to the appropriate professional.

Fortune-telling is an umbrella term covering various aspects of psychic vision, including astrology, Tarot, numerology, and necromancy. Tarot readers are discouraged from reading on health and legal issues due to legal reasons. In most jurisdictions, there are codified laws governing what can be told in a tarot reading.

Tarot card readers are regulated in any of the 50 states, so there is no specific license required to charge people to read tarot cards online. Tarot card readers are regulated in any of the 50 states, so there is no need for a license to charge people to read tarot cards online.

There are no federal or state laws banning tarot readings, as they are at best a harmless way of entertainment and at worst, a soft con. Tarot readings for the purpose of fortunetelling or predicting the future could be against the law.

Can anybody read tarot cards?

Tarot is a popular and accessible tool for anyone, according to author Michelle Tea. She believes that learning tarot involves becoming comfortable with the imagery, learning them by heart, and understanding how the cards interact. Tea’s book, Modern Tarot: Connecting with Your Higher Self through the Wisdom of the Cards, provides a beginner’s guide to tarot, guiding readers through each card in a deck, sharing reading tips, and ways to incorporate tarot into self-care practices. Tea emphasizes that anyone can learn tarot, as long as they are comfortable with the imagery and understand how they flow into a story.

Does Texas have any strange laws?

Texas is known for its unique character, with a variety of quirky and sometimes bizarre laws. Some of the most notable include the prohibition of selling an eye from a living person, which is illegal under Texas Penal Code Section 48. 02, and the prohibition of driving close to alcohol in Lubbock, which is also applicable to alcohol present in another person’s bloodstream. These laws aim to prevent the exploitation of human body parts for financial gain and to ensure that alcohol is not accessible to the driver. As a result, it is recommended that designated drivers seat their passengers in the back or have short arms.

Is tarot card reading true?

Early French occultists claimed that tarot cards had esoteric links to ancient Egypt, the Kabbalah, Indic Tantra, or the I Ching. However, scholarly research reveals that tarot cards were invented in Italy in the early 15th century for playing games, and there is no evidence of significant use of them for divination until the late 18th century. The belief in the divinatory meaning of the cards is closely associated with a belief in their occult properties, which was propagated by prominent Protestant Christian clerics and Freemasons.

From its uptake as an instrument of divination in 18th-century France, the tarot went on to be used in hermeneutic, magical, mystical, semiotic, and psychological practices. It was used by Romani people when telling fortunes and as a Jungian psychological apparatus for tapping into “absolute knowledge in the unconscious”, a tool for archetypal analysis, and even a tool for facilitating the Jungian process of individuation.

Is it illegal to keep money you find in Texas?

The ownership of abandoned, lost, mislaid, and embedded property is determined by the true owner of the property. Texas courts generally recognize only two of the five common law categories: lost and mislaid property. The Antiquities Code of Texas has superseded Texas common law, allowing for the ownership of treasure found on public or political subdivision property. Unless interested in historical and architectural aspects, there is no benefit to hunting treasure on public lands in Texas. Obtaining consent from private property owners is also unlikely.

Buyer assumes goods as-is and with all faults, while seller disclaims all warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The product contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm in California.

Are you allowed to do your own tarot reading?

Tarot is a popular and ancient practice that has gained popularity in the mainstream. It involves using cards to interpret and predict the future, providing insight into current situations and allowing individuals to make predictions. Tarot spreads can be done on oneself, even for beginners. To begin, clean the energy of your space by burning herbs, ringing bells or chimes, taking a bath, or using crystals. A Selenite wand is a popular energy refresher that can be used to clear the space, cards, and your body.

After cleansing the energy, sit comfortably and visualize protective energy surrounding you. Shuffle the deck by taking deep breaths, thinking about your question or needing guidance, and keeping your mind and heart open to potential answers. When the cards feel mixed, deal them out in a “spread”, which influences the meaning of each card in combinations. It is important to know the spread you will be working with before beginning to shuffle, as the answers may require additional cards for further clarity or starting with a new question from a different perspective.

In summary, Tarot is a powerful tool for gaining insight into current situations, honoring intuition, and forecasting potential outcomes. It is a simple process that can be done on oneself, and it is essential to practice regularly to ensure a successful Tarot reading.

Can a tarot reader be sued?

Guillard’s story highlights the potential legal issues tarot readers face when publishing unfounded accusations based on divination. The outcome of this lawsuit is yet to be determined, but it serves as a reminder that tarot readers are not above the law. The practice of divining on current events can be interesting, but it’s crucial to consider ethical, legal, responsible, and potentially hurtful aspects.

  • Mary Ann I am a Hispanic woman and was appalled and angry at what happened in Texas😢. I felt so bad for those people who were violated. Minorities are standing up to these horrible bullies. I’m curious if Texas can be stopped intimidating and suppress the Hispanic/Latino vote. Vote Blue 💙 down the ballot 💙

  • Tim Walz is going to be in Raleigh, NC on Thursday with Roy Cooper raising big bucks for the campaign. Everyone pray that they are successful!!! NC blue this time, thank you so much Maryanne!!!!😘💙💯💙💯💙💯💙 Also, everyone pray for our Governor Roy Cooper, he is fighting the election corruption both for his friend Kamala and our AG Josh Stein who is running for Gov. Thank ya’ll for your prayers, light and love! Us NC Dems have been waiting years for our blue wave!!!🌊🌊🌊

  • I live in Massachusetts and we are essentially a Democratic state but I have felt no emotional peace since Trump decided to run again. Your readings give me a sense of the fact we are going to be alright and things will work out for the best! Walz and Harris are bringing back joy to our country! Thank you for helping to guide that joy with you reading! 💕🥰

  • Maryann, thank you so much for being here for us! ❤ I am a life-long North Carolina resident, and I hope and pray my state goes BLUE all the way. Again, thank you so much for your readings. They always make me feel better when I begin feeling down about this election. I hope we can win this fight for our democracy. Love ya, beautiful lady!❤❤❤

  • I have moved back “home” to backwoods Mississippi, surrounded by people who are low-information voters. They want to stay low information, so they can decide at the last minute to vote for Trump. I am so glad to have people online who are in favor of free elections, democracy, and peaceful transfer of power. I am also in favor of people who prefer truth to lies. Thank you for your show and your interested in the US election.

  • I’m a lifelong resident of North Carolina (I’ll be 72 on 8/30) and I wanted to thank you, Maryann, for your reading on North Carolina in this election cycle. As you said, there’s skullduggery afoot as the Republicans try any means to keep their control and reduce the power of Democrats at every level. Even though we’re a purple state, the Republicans in our legislature have a super majority (which means they can override the Democratic Governor’s veto) through gerrymandering and the defection of an elected Democrat switching to the Republicans. They also have a majority on the North Carolina Supreme Court and for no cause or precedent other than to do their Republican cohorts in the legislature’s bidding, they threw out the balanced district apportionment under the previous Supreme Court which had ruled the Republicans’ map as unfair. That apportionment used only for the 2022 election had been divided evenly between Republican and Democratic districts. But since the US Supreme Court has refused to disallow overt political gerrymandering, the new Republican dominated NC court agreed to hear the legislature’s case and allow new redistricting. The result is that three Democrats’ districts for the US Congress were no longer winnable and they decided not to run for re-election which will mean three less Democrats in the US House of Representatives. The districts for the North Carolina legislature are also gerrymandered which keeps these Republicans in charge. They have worked to reduce the power of the governor, interfered in local administrations that are run by Democrats, changed the makeup of local commissions and election boards, to name a few of their plans for seeking total control.

  • (Robert Kennedy Sr. was a Scorpio and therefore a Water Sign.) I just watched Harris and Walz visiting an-out-of-the-way high school in Georgia as part of their campaign tour to include the usually politically ignored parts of the nation. The band played for them and Harris responded with a beautiful calm speech reminding them how important it is for them to remember that they are important parts of a whole no matter what anyone else tells them otherwise. i have never in my nearly 70 years witnessed a campaign like this Harris/Walz one; the palpable Presence of Truth and Beauty guides EVERYTHING they do. I LOVE your readings Maryanne (sp? forgive me!!). You disprove the notion that Politics cannot be Soulcraft as the ever-wise Pete Buttigieg has termed it CAN indeed be. Carry on!

  • I am a long time viewer but have never wrote a comment. I am not sure what happened on your last post but your reaction to it makes me want to tell you how incredible you are. You are my go to reader as accurate, truth telling, real, no nonsense, no ego, honest, smart as all hell, and totally in the know. You set excellent boundaries with the trolls and make no apologies to the jerks. Sometimes you are my news source as you explain things so well. I trust your judgment and get the validating chills when you are sure of a thing. You ARE revealing light. And oh by the way, I love your hair. I’m so glad you’re here.

  • It’s a shame that JFK Jr. didn’t survive with his wife! And an even bigger shame that RFK Jr survived to bring total disgrace to the amazing Kennedy legacy! RFK Jr is an addled fool bent on personal gain at any cost! Bobby was such an amazing spirit for the people, civil rights and equality and is turning in his grave over his son’s betrayal!!! Shame and repudiation on RFK Jr. 😡😢🤯👎👎👎👎

  • Yes Maryann, Evangelicals are turning away from Trump! Not all of them but enough that it’s hurting him badly. I’m hoping that Harry and his father find peace before Charles dies. I also hope the brothers work things out also. Thank you Maryann. Take care of yourself. 🙏🕊 Kennedy told Trump he’d back him for a job in his administration. The sad thing is RFK Jr. called Harris first to offer her this deal but she wouldn’t even take his call. She couldn’t be bought. Trump took the call. He showed he could be bought.

  • The cards were correct _ last night Marc. Elias firm has filed on behalf of the North Carolina Asian Americans Together and El Pueblo – to intervene to fight against the RNC lastest voter suppression lawsuit. Also our Gov Roy Cooper has been fighting against the Gerrymandering in court since 2016 _ I am so sad his term is up. Yesterday Gov and VP Nominee Tim Walz was in NC with Gov Roy Cooper – so happy for that

  • Mary Ann, Just a quick note to tell you how much your work holds light and expands it into my neck of the woods. You bring so much wisdom, humor, insight and clarity into your readings. Thank you so many times over for sharing your gifts and brilliance with all of us. When things get overwhelming I can always find a sanctuary of calm in your articles.

  • Mary Ann – you are a light and you certainly reveal it! I love your work and grateful for it, you and your marvelous chat. I am sorry anyone would be disrespectful to you at all. We so need your work in the world- a true lamplight. I am in NC and there is a huge push here by the Dems and have been inspired by the volunteer events and trainings I have attended. I keep checking my registration and hope others will too. I believe in the tides turning and cannot wait til “T’ is held fully accountable for all his many many crimes. Blessings to you and all 🙂

  • Thank you Maryann! I’m in North Carolina and it’s a scary place to be. The most dangerous red states in the USA are Texas, Florida, and North Carolina. South Carolina is no picnic either. One of the ways I have pushed back quietly is to join and send funds annually to the NAACP of NC, because they are engaged in a year round fight for voter rights and against gerrymandering in NC. NC is where many of the early civil rights protests took place. The International Civil Rights Museum is 30 minutes from my house. Wherever there is a history of intensive slavery, slave plantations, and current day large populations of black and brown people, there is ongoing gerrymandering and the desire to turn back time and oppress people’s freedom. There are so many ways that the Jim Crowe era behavior is trying to come back and the MAGA crowd is behind it. Listening to you is like a therapy session. Love and hugs and big respect to you!!!

  • Maryann, I watched your vid on RFK Jr & agree that he is a JUDAS! I also watch another popular Tarot reader from England, that I have resonated w/for several yrs. I was aghast at her comments giving praise to him after joining tRump! How can a truly spiritual being/light seeker’s influence lean into the dark evil side of politics that affect American democracy? Truly saddened.💙🌎🕊️

  • Your character and knowledge of current events is impeccable Marianne! Thanks for the consistent common sense Master Class on how to deal with detractors (and other issues). Your compassionate heart and bright mind always impress and inspire me – and this community. Your message is spreading out there and is appreciated more than you know! ✨❤😊❤✨

  • Thank you for reading on my state of NC. I quit my job and went to work with a grass roots organization that is on the ground, canvassing all over NC for NC Dems all the way down the ballot to our local county commissioners. Since early August I’ve already knocked nearly 600 doors on my own, and I’m not slowing down. This is all in my small county of Ashe which happens to be quite red (though historically pre Trump it was more liberal). I’m hearing a lot of determination and excitement about the Dems chances.

  • Thank you, Maryann. I am a long time follower of you, but rarely leave comments. You are a very talented Tarot reader and I appreciate your skill. I am an amature reader and so many readers that I have watched don’t go to the deeper interpretations that you do. Your intuitive abilities guides you to a deeper understanding and I just wanted to tell you how very much I appreciate your readings. ❤

  • I hope you are correct about North Carolina. My daughter teaches here. If Robinson wins for Governor, her father and I will join her in leaving the state. Our heavily Republican state politicians are bad enough, but Robinson would be the tipping point. Shame, because we’ve been here 32 years and like it here.

  • 🇺🇸 Thank you Mary Ann. As an American, I appreciate that you are willing to share your gifts and your time. These are very scary times, not only for the United States, but the entire world. If it wasn’t for people like you and the Meidas Touch Network, and the other independent media here on YouTube, the country and the world would be in a much different place. 🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙

  • Thanks so much as always! 💙 It’s as though we’re living in an Orwell novel. I just can’t believe that some people can still support this hipocracy! I do see him digging the hole he is in deeper with every day that passes with no way out. I have disliked other politicians before, but I have never despised anyone as much as him!

  • Thank you for your focus on North Carolina today. We are no stranger to “skullduggery” here as there are parts of our state grounded in bully politics and white supremacy. Every opportunity I get, I shine a light on the sudden passing of our first African American Sheriff here in Richmond county who passed suddenly 8/5/2021. Sheriff James Clemmons was in his second term when he passed. There are still many unanswered questions and we have not ruled out foul play. Thank you for your attention.

  • Geez, MaryAnn, people can be so rude! You are quite courageous to put yourself out there. I really appreciate all you do and have done for the past few years. I don’t miss any of your readings. I agree, BUGGER OFF to those that feel they need to correct you and are rude. Thank you. Love and gratitude!

  • You are absolutely wonderful and your readings always help relieve my political anxiety and cut through all the media misinformation. I so admire your in-depth knowledge of the American political system. Thank you for all the time and research you devote to such an important time in history, not only in the U.S. but the world. All the best to you and yours. Blessings! 🙏 🤟😀

  • I get so excited when I see you have a new article! Although I’m in a very dark red state of SC you bring so much joy and calmness. What a delight you are. Keep up the good work! We Americans depend on you to bring us truth. How in the world can we have someone running for President and he’s a felon?!? Unbelievable!

  • When I was in high school in the 60s, I wrote headlines for the school paper. The teacher/supervisor had to approve what went into the paper. In one issue I wrote a headline for a story about our golf team winning 5th place. My headline…Golfers Get Teed Off With 5th! Supervisor and I got called into the principal’s office. Some parents thought we said the golfers got drunk! Thank you for your work and care.

  • Hi Maryann, your readings are always thought-provoking, poignant, insightful, informative and entertaining. 🙌🏼💞 A lot of people have forgotten that in 1984 Bobby Junior pleaded guilty to one felony count of possession of heroin. It was February 18th. He was indicated for possession and distribution. He received 2 years probation and community service. I think that’s the only thing Bobby and Don/old have in common. So I guess they can commiserate on what it’s like being felons.🤔 Obviously, 45 forgot about Bobby’s criminal past or maybe not. However, they try to spin it as your cards have predicted their association will not benefit the felon with 34 conviction counts at all. Thank you for such a spirited and entertaining article.❤😉👏🏼

  • Maryann! The light reflected off of you sweater makes it a beautiful deep dark blue, and the golden yellow scarf is a lovely offset color. So, are you experiencing spring weather yet down under? Thank you for these wonderful readings. Don’t worry about the trolls- you have fans that out number them a thousand to one! Wishing you peace, love, and light!

  • Thank you Mary Ann for being you and being here. I watch for any posts you make and enjoy every one. They are positive and encouraging at a time when we need it. As a Canadian, I’m not as directly affected by political shenanigans in US politics as some are here, but what happens there does affect us as well. Plus we have our own shenanigans going on here too. Love and light 🇨🇦

  • I live in Mo. USA. And I went to check at the courthouse on my voters registration. What I found out was upsetting. Yes I was still a registered voter. But they informed me that my voter registration card was of no use. I have to produce My Missouri Dr license to vote… I’m glad to know that, because if I showed up with my voters registration card I would have been denied to vote. I have to be concerned about (voter suppression) for those who are legally mo. Citizens who do not have a drivers license. The elder I take care of doesn’t have a Dr license but a state id card. He’s 80 years old and an American citizen who has lived in Mo over forty years. and he is now not allowed legally to vote in Mo. This was a new law passed by the maga who run Mo.

  • Thank you so much for the several years of great guidance! May the white lights of the universe and of all that is good around us always be with you. I pray for a better world and I know in my heart that these times are coming and the angels above are doing overtime on our behalf. You are one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever met. Thank you once again.

  • Hi MaryAnn 👋🏻 – New-ish subscriber here – I just have to say I appreciate your readings very much. You have a real gift in addition to real skills and I appreciate your balanced and grounded approach. Also, I’m an American and very much appreciate your interest in U.S. politics, I feel your readings are especially good because I feel you have a bit of real and figurative distance to help you stay more objective and allow the neutral truth to come through. Thanks for all you do – love to you from the States❤ 🇺🇸

  • I’m so sorry that people are so negative and rude to you. I just do not understand the need to deliberately hurt/attack others. I’m just starting to accept the spirits and their visions/advice. I’ve been seeing RFK sr. lying on the floor of the convention hall as he was dying. I’m sure it has to do with junior but I have no idea what it means.

  • This was an amazing reading, Mary Ann. You truly are a spiritual treasure for me (and I’m sure many, many others). Your saying JFK instead of RFK last week brought JFK back into my mind, and I’ve been thinking of him all week since. I knew who you meant. And it’s a HUGE NO for me as to the Kennedy Legacy being tarnished in any way. One bad apple “don’t spoil the whole bunch”. The Kennedys are good people, and always have been FOR the people. RFK, Jr. is reminding us all of it in a big way. Thank you so much for this today.

  • Oh, MaryAnn, I loved it when you said ‘Bugger off’ in this article! My Lancashire mum used to say that a lot when it was needed. In fact, it is a north of England saying. I admire your forthrightness and I am lucky enough to have a close friend like yourself who co-incidentally is a journo. Thank you for everything you do xx*💜🙏💜

  • When I was engaged to my ex, he kept telling me he wanted to have his ex at our wedding. I never thought much of it at first. However, he kept telling me multiple times that he wanted her to see what she missed out on. It started becoming abundantly clear that he was still in love with her and, extremely bitter the she moved on. Even after I told him, it makes me uncomfortable, he still insisted and, was even offering to help pay for her trip. I’m pretty sure he was trying to pull some shady stuff. Best thing to do in situations where something feel wrong, is to walk away and never look back. I am now happily married to my best friend and, I am glad I moved on instead if settling.

  • I know at least one woman who called the wedding after the invitations were out, gifts were coming in, and the truth about her POS came out. She did the right thing. This woman absolutely did the right thing. Too many women and men go through with weddings because of “expectations”. Screw that! Save yourself. “She just avoided a TOXIC marriage…”. Casey – you are awesome! People who call it no matter how close to the vows they are when they learn.

  • Man, you could FEEL the stress and tension of what she was about to do. Expectations can be a heavy burden to bear even in this day and age, but she was very brave to get everything out in the open like that. If she couldn’t trust him before they got married, there could be no way she could trust him after.

  • I was also with for 6 years and engaged for almost 2 years. Five months before the wedding, I found out he opened a bunch of credit cards in my name and was not paying the pickup monthly payments we bought together. To say after I broke it off, I had to file bankruptcy because I could not pay the debt off that he racked up on my name only. Now I have been married for 17 years and we have 3 beautiful kids. I couldn’t be happier.

  • An 8 minute movie, which could have been a 2 minute one, with time to spare. And, without showing ANY footage of the couple, their wedding, etc. Just random pictures of all kinds of people unrelated to the article. The story is: on her wedding day the gf texted her with pictures and chat between herself and the fiancé. Bride then exposed him (read the texts and showed the pictures) at the alter and went on to have the party, sans marriage.

  • I have never been more proud than to be a woman sweetie you are all that and then some I am more than certain the Lord has somebody extremely wonderful waiting for you. Any young person who was perusal this please know your self-worth use this as an example. You handled yourself I got true lady very inspirational. Impressive God bless you and all your healing sweetie

  • What in the honkyaśš psycho psychiatry is this? The 2 reason ppl cheat: 1. What the cheater sees as a problem in the relationship. •. That’s not even a coherent sentence, nevermind a reason. 2. The cheater failing to hv romantic feelings for the partner. • “Romantic feelings.” Is Dr. Rowan Gotnodegree 1,000 years old?

  • Good for Casey to expose her grooming at the altar. There is absolutely no point in marrying a cheater. Once a cheater always a cheater. He would be cheating on her for the rest of their marriage. I’m sure she would find someone better. It was great that she continued to party after telling the congregation that there would be no wedding. I wish more women who are betrayed by their men would be as courageous asCasey.

  • This was a good article. I’m not shocked that there wasn’t actual footage due to the bride wanting to protect her identity along with the groom. I’m glad the bride still celebrated the day despite not getting married. She almost made a terrible mistake. Hopefully she has moved on and is doing well with someone who actually loves her.

  • Obviously cheating on your partner is horrible. But doing a dramatic “gotcha” in the middle of your wedding ceremony… …based on anonymous screenshots from unreliable source… …without looking into it… …or speaking with their partner… …doesn’t exactly scream intelligent or rational or emotionally mature. “A random stranger from the internet told me you were cheating, so without looking into it, I’m going to do what anonymous internet says, and not get married!” If this were real, they BOTH dodged a bullet. ——— And if you can’t tell this is fake, please, don’t get married or reproduce. Humanity is struggling with its current level of stupld. We don’t need any more.

  • I remember this story, read it online some point last year. Own thoughts now, but I would ask the groom why he even decided to go through with the wedding at all if he was going to start cheating on her. Also I would ask him if ever asked himself if he really believed that the bride would never learn the truth

  • Casey, thank goodness you had enough sense to do something right away. I was faced with a similar situation and I walked down the isle anyways. The church was full of my friends and relatives already. Needless to say that marriage ended up in divorce. So good for you to have had the courage to face the truth right away.

  • What’s more surprising is that in this day when everyone has a cellphone with article capabilities, there are no articles of the actual event. For a huge juicy story like this, It’s either everyone in that church are good people who has the common sense to keep the articles to themselves and not leak it, or this is a fake story.

  • “Why did he cheat?” Usually it’s because they’re horny idiots and don’t know how lucky they are until they screw up the relationship like that pathetic idiot of a man. Yes, I know it’s not always the man. Yeah, I know. But usually it is. Bless her heart! Stay strong and I pray you find a guy worthy of your bravery and love!

  • I have the utmost respect for this lady. She’s exactly who I wished that I had been on my own wedding day, but sadly I didn’t find out beforehand…but I did find out that same evening, at my wedding reception; when an uninvited and unexpected guest turned up and instead of my having the first dance with my new husband, they both did that for me instead, in front of about 350 other guests. Nobody knew who she was, and neither did I. I don’t think anyone deserves that level of humiliation and embarrassment on what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. I have never remarried and I don’t think I ever will, to be honest. But one thing that came out of my sham of a marriage is my son, who shows me every single day how lucky I am. Ps The now ex-husband left his only child (our son) and emigrated from here when our son was 11; so now we are both lucky!!

  • That Dr. really doesn’t know much about cheaters. There are more reasons then a problem in the relationship or no romantic feelings for the person. Cheaters are very insecure, they are selfish and they have no concern for the other person at all. Cheaters have a sickness, a cheater will never stop cheating. Oh, i just read a comment while I’m writing. in response to it, I know right, I wanted to hear his text but all I hear is the narrator also. Bummer.

  • As the narrator said her whole life dream even before she started dating was getting married. When that’s your life ambition, your focus is not “love” but “desire” to fulfill a status quo, so hence why she went thru with the day anyway. Not saying anyone deserves poor treatment, that dude is just a by-product of her wish to be married, and unfortunately not the best choice it appears.

  • My guy fooled everyone. One friend of his of 40 years plus said “oh he will never cheat on you .” He confessed to me he cheated on his wife of 41 years! Countless flirting with others, eyes wondering at women no matter where we were. Even in church and a wedding! He had a sex addiction and porn addiction. This was a guy that never missed church on Sundays!! Ladies…spend the money on a private investigator and truly know What you’re getting into. Also trust your gut. Always. It never fails!!!

  • Hearing, reading, or perusal anything like this online, I always preface my comment with, “if this story is true….”. In this case, if this story is true, more power to her and the guy certainly deserved to be outed. My skeptical self, in this world of deep fakes, trolls and misinformation always leaves a little room for the possibility somebody manufactures a narrative of a cheating partner to disrupt, sew distrust or to just tell a good story and there is no way we can verify any of this.

  • 😒Would it have killed y’all to use THE SAME FREAKIN’ GIRL/WOMEN…🤔Hold up, okay look…🤨WHERE the heck IS she when she receives this lil golden nugget of info?!? A bar, the church RIGHT before she’s to go down this aisle, were they having a girl’s night out…WHAT IS GOING ON HERE🤦🏾‍♀️ #HelpMyUnderstandingPLEASE😩

  • Good for her! I spent 22 years with a lying cheat. I would have paid money to have been there I would have laughed in his face. And by the way it’s not always the guy that’s the lying cheat. I’ve now been with the beautiful woman for six years this brought me more joy then she did in 25 years of being with her.

  • To kassy,I APPLAUD! you so loudly. Except for the marriage part. I too was hearbroken after a 13 year realationship. I too did what needed to be done for my ownself and sanity. I loved that man with everything in me. But it wasn’t texts or pictuers, but with me,it was noticing things, little by little. So I broke it off 6 months ago now. But I actually feel more relieved and thoughts are on “ME”…Self Worth..So congratulations! to you.(I hope she sees this)

  • An old friend of mine and I went out for a drink in the late 1990s he asked a girl to dance and she brushed him off so he stole he handbag and her money when he saw her crying later he bought her drinks all night with her own money. She thought he was a hero and they got married and had children and their STILL together. She never found out, he never told but everytime I see them together he blanches and pulls her away “” didn’t you used to be good friends “” I hear her say and I start laughing. 😂😂😂😂 The reality is far juicier than the truth😂

  • Wait a minute. So why did the anonymous person sending her the texts, wait to do that on her wedding day? Isn’t that a bit too cruel? Even the day before would have been better, but the ideal time would have been as soon as they found out, weeks or months before, so that she didn’t have to pay her share of a useless wedding (or have her parents pay for it, or whatever their arrangement was). It’s odd what the groom did, carrying on an affair as he was getting married, which leads me to wonder if the bride was rich and that’s what the groom actually wanted to marry her for. Wait for the minimum time period to divorce and then take half of everything and run off with the woman you’re having an affair with. Or even worse, was he going to take a life insurance policy out on her (which is just far too common, that whole, life insurance policy, “whoops my spouse just accidentally fell off a cliff”, thing).

  • My first husband kept getting letters from a girl overseas after we got married. He said, “Oh, she will stop writing.” I never read any of the letters. Then he showed me a portrait of himself wearing a wedding ring on his left hand. “It’s not a wedding ring, just a ring I had.” After we were married in a Methodist Church, I offered to be married again in the Catholic Church, as he was Catholic. No, no, no! It was ok. No need for that! I now believe he was married in the Church to the girl who wrote the letters. That was his wedding ring. Catholic marriages are recorded in the Vatican forever. He knew if we tried, his name would have come up as already married. It’s called BIGAMY! We were “married” for 9 years and had 4 kids together. The only bright spot for me is that I was never really married to the jerk, as he cheated on me with countless women and prostitutes during that 9.years.We got divorced after a woman called me: he had told her we were divorced, and she wanted to know why he still lived with me. He even gave me Herpes 2, which didn’t show up until after I remarried, 32 years ago. You can’t imagine how horrified and ashamed I was to tell my new husband I had thar! Fortunately there is a drug that stops outbreaks and makes it impossible to transmit it. He doesn’t deserve that because of the other jerk! So let’s talk about a REAL cheater… But I married the best, sweetest guy ever this time. He raised our kids with me like they were his own. He worked long hours to provide them with a wonderful life.

  • I see this a lot, women and men marrying each other believing that the vow of commitment will somehow magically improve their relationship once they tie the knot, but that never works, if you’re unhappy don’t go through with it just out of convenience, familiarity or attachment, you will regret it very soon after the honeymoon when you realize that nothing actually changed except for the ring on you’re finger.

  • I did something similar in 1994 aged 24. I had moved to the Canary Islands, where my parents were from, at age 20 to age 24 for the experience. I had been there for a year already in 1988 age 17 and finished school. I had made some good friends and wanted to return to spend more time with them. My bff girlfriend had a guy she knew, she introduced us and we started a relationship that lasted 4 years until he turned up to my house one day and without giving me a reason, broke up with me. Of course, broken-hearted me clung close to my bff, I told her everything. One day, about 2 weeks after the breakup I met up with her and I noticed she was acting different, i asked her what was up, she brushed it off as “nothing, just thinking” but I was too young and inexperienced to read anything else into it. Then about a week after that, she turns up at my house and admits she is seeing my ex boyfriend. I just looked at her and asked “Couldn’t you have waited a bit first?” She said no. Then I told her “You’re not the person I thought you were.” TO which she replied “If you put me on a pedestal, that’s your problem.” I said nothing. Thought nothing. Didn’t look at her. I simply stood up, walked to the front door, opened it and looked at her. It took her a moment to understand what she was supposed to do, but she stood up and walked out the door with what I noticed was a smirk on her face. I closed the door quietly, not giving her any indication of emotion or satisfaction of slamming it in anger.

  • Good girl even though I don’t know her from Eve I’m still very proud she stood for herself against a man Most guys except for myself think people are supposed to bow to them just cause they’re a so called man Ladies let this be the norm be strong like this Lady and be with someone who really cares about you

  • This isn’t true, is it. The bride read some texts and just suddenly stopped loving her man and coldly organised her mind to make the day go well for the wedding guests. No heartbreak, no nervous breakdown, no emotional disturbance at all, it seems. Even without the texts, if it had gone ahead, it would have been a loveless marriage – and that wouldn’t have been the husband’s fault.

  • I should have known when I clicked on this article that it would be nothing but annoying dialogue. I digress, but I recently read a few studies that showed statistically how many people actually cheat at their bachelor/bachelorette parties. It was a staggering percentage, more than half I was so stunned. It’s like marriage is a joke these days. Why bother going through the wedding? Money and time wasted. And as far as I am concerned they will do it again once married. Ladies and gentleman, you deserve better than this ❤

  • Wait so does this mean that the unknown number was the woman he was cheating on her with? Because if so that is such a good case of going after the cheater and not the other person(I’m assuming the other woman didn’t even know her boyfriend was engaged until just before the wedding but my god the fact that she still probably pushed her own heartbreak aside just to make sure the bride didn’t end up suffering in that marriage is really courageous)

  • I had an ex who always tried to make me jealous and moved way too fast. I didn’t say I loved her back, or ask her to marry me when she said that she would say yes if I asked. I know from personal experience that the most rotten lie you can tell someone is “I love you” if you don’t mean it. So I wasn’t just going to say that and lead her on. If I say I love you. You have all my heart. I just don’t throw that word around. I don’t know why I couldn’t fall for her. She was pretty and funny. I liked her as a person. Maybe I needed the chase and don’t like being chased, and she had a lot of clutter. IDK… I’m far from perfect in that department either. I just hide my clutter in a spare bedroom. She would then get all hurt, and then break up with me, then call crying. Then she said she thought I was relived that she broke up…She was right, because I was always feeling pressured and guilty that she was hurt that I couldn’t feel the same. I don’t want to hurt anyone. Eventually things calmed down and we became good friends for a few years. We would go to movies and out to eat as friends. I was cool with that because that’s how our relationship started… as friends who laughed a lot, liked raunchy humor, and scary movies. Then one time she just planted a kiss on me when we were hanging out at her house, and we shared the night because I’m a stupid man who agreed to spoon, then she did this spin move and kissed me. I didn’t fall for that again, and kept away from her house whenever we met.
