This guide provides an in-depth understanding of Robin, a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, based on the Fire Emblem series. It covers his attributes, moves, unlock method, tier ranking, and more. Robin’s unique abilities include seeing the field, neutral aerial, charging, and switching up his sword for aerials.
The guide also discusses the rating, unlock condition, tips, combo, and countering Robin. Robin’s moveset appears to be the same as the previous title, but with some different hitboxes. He can change direction during his move to bait or trick edgeguarding opponents. Nosferatu is a command grab that heals Robin while damaging the enemy.
However, Robin’s changes have not significantly improved his standing relative to the cast in Ultimate than in SSB4. Robin can change direction during the move to bait or trick edgeguarding opponents. The mod aims to correct minor errors in vanilla while adding new features, such as passively recharged spells and Levin Sword.
Players are struggling to find ways to play Robin in neutral and create combos. They also try zoning with him, but the TimingEdit feature allows the infinite to transition into the finisher after one full loop. Robin comes with two swords: the bronze sword and the levin sword, as well as four volumes: ArcFire, Thunder, ElWind, and Nosferatu.

robin main here! love all your articles, but especially enjoyed this one :3 you were definitely onto something with arcfire–>footstool! if you air dodge diagonally down immediately after the footstool, you’ll reach the ground quick enough to have more follow-up options or read a missed tech option. alternatively, if you’re holding a discard and you catch their neutral ledge get-up with arcfire, you can footstool–>item toss down–>drift forward dair (mad ice king has a article on it and a whole lotta other really neat robin tricks that are totally worth checking out) im not actually good or anything and im probably just commenting into the void but i just like talking about robin sometimes 🙂
I can’t find a character to main, I like quite some of them but I can’t find one that I feel like I really enjoy playing… Few days ago I realized Robin existed, for some reason I completely forgot she existed, so I gave her a try… And I’m really having fun! I’m quite convinced to try main her, she just feels different not only from other fire emblem characters but also from other smash characters, plus the fact that her specials are great while still having great aerials and smashes, having so many options make me like her even more!
I am trying to practice with everyone. So far my Mario and Sonic are trash and need work. Everyone else I am either good or decent with. But there are some I am really good or some what good with. But I can still work on getting better with those. Like Wario, he is different from other variants. So I need to work on him more. Now to test out Robin. I looked at Robin a few times as she is in fact different and seems cool.
Fire emblem character have to be the absolute least fun characters to watch especially when you play smash. Just isn’t fun to look at when smash as a series was built on the watch characters absolutely whip each others ass and then 1/4 of the ultimate roster is just overloaded with flashy magic. so Zzzzzzzz.
