Altering Spells For Demon Souls?

In Demon Souls on PS5, players can learn, attune, and use magic to create characters. To equip magic and/or miracles, players must select the “remember spell” option when talking to the appropriate NPC trainer. Intelligence gives sorcery spell slots, while magic increases the power of spells that scale. Miracles can be attuned at either the Follower of God or Saint Urbain after.

To attune spells, players must speak to one of the NPC’s in Nexus, such as the snarky mage, and check if they have enough spell slots for Intelligence for Sorceries and Faith for Miracles. The tutor then selects the “Remember Spells” option.

For magicians, Flame Toss and Water Veil are available from the start, and defensive spells like Cloak and Protection are obtained through investment in miracles. Players can change spells after purchasing magic from Sage Freke, but must wait until the next playthrough after killing the phalanx.

To equip sorceries, players must visit Freke, his apprentice, or Yuria and speak to them, selecting Remember Spells. To equip more sorceries, players must buy the actual spell from merchants or find them. After having the spell, players can go to a bonfire, select attune magic, select their open slot, and pick a weapon, like a Catalyst, which allows them to fire the ammunition in spell form.
