Should I Retain The Sarthal Amulet?

The Under Saarthal quest in Skyrim is a challenging quest that requires players to find four artifacts, including the Saarthal amulet. The amulet is identical to an ancient Nord amulet but weighs slightly less and reduces the magicka cost of all spells by 3. To escape the trap, players must follow Tolfdir deeper into the ruins and discover the danger within Saarthal.

The artifacts do not need to be returned to Arniel and can be kept. Retrieving the Saarthal Amulet will trap the Dragonborn. To escape, players must equip the amulet and return it to the bar blocking their exit.

The Saarthal amulet can be obtained during the Quest Under Saarthal and can be used to cast spells costing 3 less. The amulet is found in an abandoned camp outside Folgunthur and Mikrul Gauldurson. To keep the amulet and remove the Gauldur Amulet, players can equip the second necklace, which automatically removes the Gauldur Amulet.

Quests that require wearing an amulet include curing lycranthropy and having the 5 amulets of Talos equipped. The amulet is identical to an ancient Nord amulet but weighs slightly less. Its base enchantment makes all spells 3 cheaper to cast.

It is possible to go inside Saarthal without joining the College, as the Skyrim Unlocked mod allows for this. If the Saarthal amulet is unrelated to the forbidden legend quest, players can ditch it as they progress through the College of Winterhold.

Can you open Saarthal without joining the college?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim allows players to enter Saarthal and Labyrinthian without starting the quest. The trap door leading to the back entrance is easy, but glitching through metal gates can be challenging. The grand design prioritizes the grand design over petty squabbles and common rabble. The question remains: is there a way to get into Saarthal and Labyrinthian without the college?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim does not require players to keep any keys. However, if a key is used to open a door for the first time, it is not necessary to keep it in the player’s inventory forever. • …okay I’m not sure I get this. I was looking for a little help in Forbidden Legends, but this really doesn’t help, I’m sorry. It’s just the wrong quest… I guess. But does this mean I need to do the College of Winterhold quests to finish Forbidden Legend? Because I’ve really never been interested in that kind of thing. But I used my console to open the door, and it’s all weird. I guess it’s because I’m not supposed to be in there? But when I try to take the Amulet off the wall nothing happens. Do I need to start the college? My first thoughts were that I needed to have the other amulets, that doesn’t work. I know there’s a lot of run -ons and bad grammar in here. Yes I speak English, I just don’t really feel like using it XD. Anyway, what am I doing wrong? I don’t want to no-clip through the wall because then Serana and Meeko can’t follow me and, for some reason, I’m really scared of the Draugr when I don’t have any followers. Well, maybe Serana will come. She’s phased through walls to get to me before, but Meeko hasn’t. I’m confused. HELP!!!

  • you guys do know this amulet is one of 3 and you can complete a quest to combine all 3 to create an amulet that buff’s the enchantments of all 3 amulets (these separate amulets each buff health magicka and and stamina in some way or another and i can’t remember the exact effects but the full thing is pretty powerful.)
