On this day in 1973 {June 29th} King Harvest performed “A Little Bit Like Magic” on the NBC-TV program ‘The Midnight Special’… It had entered Billboard’s Hot Top 100 chart on April 29th, 1973 at position #98, the following week it was at #94, then #92, and on its fourth and final week on the chart it peaked at #91… On the same ‘Midnight Special’ show they also did “Dancing in the Moonlight”; earlier in 1973 on February 18th it reached #13 {for 2 weeks} and it stayed on the Top 100 for 22 weeks… The two above songs were their only entries on the Top 100 chart…
