Swapping Out Pyromancy Spells?

This video teaches how to equip and use pyromancy spells, sorcery spells, and miracles in Dark Souls 3. To use a Pyromancy Spell, you need a Pyromancy Flame, a catalyst, and a talisman. To obtain the Bond of a Pyromancy, you must have the correct weapon for each of the three types of spells: Catalysts for Sorceries and Talismans for Miracles.

To obtain a Pyromancy Flame, choose the Pyromancer as your starting class or talk to the pyromancy trainers, such as Laurentius of the Great Swamp. Once you have all your spells in your slots, cycle through them using the “up” button on the D-pad and equip your pyromancy Flame (or catalyst/talisman for sorcery and miracles) and press R1.

To cast a pyromancy spell, equip a glove in your right hand, put the spell in the attunement slot, and press the up arrow on the D-pad to cycle through your memorized spells/miracles/pyromancies. You should also rest at a bonfire, select the “Attune Spell” option, and press the light attack button.

Pyromancy in Dark Souls is a simplistic form of magic that does not require investment in stats to make full use of. To equip a pyromancy, follow these steps:

1. Attune a pyromancy (equip a spell) through the menu when resting at a bonfire. Equip the Pyromancy Flame and press the light attack button. Rest at a bonfire, select the “Attune Spell” option, and navigate to the UI to select which spells to use.
