Taylor Swift: Does She Engage In Witchcraft?

A viral TikTok video from early 2023 claimed that Taylor Swift was practicing witchcraft onstage during her “Eras” concert tour. The Georgia mother’s post ignited a heated debate with thousands of people, including Diocese of Nashville exorcist Father Dan Reehil who explained the potential spiritual endangerment of attendees at the concert. While some critics have claimed Swift’s Eras Tour performance of the song “Willow” promotes witchcraft, there is no evidence that Swift’s performances intentionally feature satanic practices.

Swift has been accused of promoting Satanism or witchcraft before, and it was just last fall that she was linked to witchcraft after posting on Instagram. Experts told PolitiFact that musicians have been accused of performing satanic rituals for decades. Swift’s “witchy” new album fuels speculation about her interest in the craft, and it is unclear if her recent references to witchcraft are simply part of the “cottagecore”.

Earlier this year, Swift’s Eras Tour attracted scrutiny for a bizarre reason, with some arguing that the routine for her 2020 song “Willow” is reminiscent of witchcraft. Swift has continued to tie witchcraft to this song during her Eras Tour, donning ritualistic garb while performing the song and having her backup dancers wear it.

A Republican accused Swift of “celebrating witchcraft”, stating that she is influencing innocent minds to be enticed with the dark side of spirituality. However, even if Taylor genuinely doesn’t believe she’s a witch, she is glorifying witchcraft and influencing audience members. Social media amplifies the hateers, and Swift has been accused of being a demonic witch in the past.

Is forgive and forget toxic?

Toxic forgiveness is a harmful practice that fails to address the emotional needs of the hurt party, leading to unresolved anger, resentment, and bitterness. This avoidance of conflict and resolution can erode trust in the relationship, as the underlying issues are not properly addressed. Research indicates that without emotional processing and resolution, toxic forgiveness can lead to emotional detachment, causing the injured party to withdraw from the relationship, leading to decreased intimacy and eventual breakdown.

This is particularly damaging in close relationships, as it creates a facade of harmony while allowing deeper issues to fester, leading to a lack of trust, frequent misunderstandings, and chronic dissatisfaction. The forgave may feel emotionally neglected or invalidated, while the other party may remain unaware of the ongoing damage caused.

Taylor Swift has released a list of the 10 worst songs by her, which may be considered the worst of her career. The songs include Big Machine 2007, Santa Baby, We Love Christmas!!, No Body, No Crime (feat. Haim), Bad Blood, and London Boy. Why does Taylor Swift always sing about exes?

Taylor Swift has faced criticism for her “hatred of men” over the years, with a Google search revealing 338, 000 results about her songs about her ex-boyfriends. This misogynistic claim is untrue, as Swift’s songs about her past relationships do not explicitly name her ex, leaving the others to conspiracy. Instead, she provides fans with relatable songs that help them feel less alone in their feelings.

One example of Swift’s profound writing style is “All Too Well”, which details the remnants of a once happy and now broken relationship, making fans less alone. The song has become one of her most famous since its release in 2012, and its newest re-release as a 10-minute version in 2021 is not because it’s rumored to be about Jake Gyllenhall, but because of the heartfelt lyrics and deeper meaning for the fans.

In addition to her songs about relationships, Swift has also written songs about her personal experiences, such as “You’re On Your Own, Kid”, which highlights the pain and hope that comes with longing for love. Her words have real and deeper meanings that hit close to home for most fans.

There are many more songs about Swift’s life, such as “Ronan”, “Nothing New”, and “this is me trying”. However, these songs are not brought up in the argument that Swift only writes songs about her exes. Moreover, Swift has used her money for good deeds, such as donating proceeds from her song “Welcome to New York” to public schools in 2015, making generous donations to food banks in each city she visited on her Eras Tour, and donating to the World Health Organization and Feeding America during the pandemic.

Despite the backlash, Swift has shown nothing but a heart of gold through the years, and her songs continue to inspire younger women to succeed alongside her. In the end, Swift’s songs serve as a beacon of hope and support for female artists.

Do you believe in forgiveness Taylor Swift?

Taylor Swift, in an interview, emphasizes that forgiveness is not a one-time act, but rather a process that can be moved on without any negative consequences. She believes that for those who have enriched her life and faced struggles, it is essential to be indifferent and move on. Swift also advises a cautious and conditional approach to forgiveness, which is particularly relevant in the context of women’s empowerment. She advises against forgiving unrepentant wrongdoers, as it can lead to becoming a doormat and allowing people to walk all over you.

When repeatedly wronged by someone “toxic”, Taylor advises standing up for oneself, protecting oneself, withholding forgiveness, and cutting off contact. However, Taylor’s view of forgiveness is controversial, especially in the United States, where two influential groups call for unconditional forgiveness. One group, consisting of Christians, advocates for forgiveness regardless of whether they are apologetic or repentant, claiming that it is a loving and generous act that heals the rifts created by wrongdoing.

What is the most unpopular Taylor Swift song?

The least-streamed songs by Taylor Swift include “It’s Nice to Have a Friend,” “Closure,” “Innocent,” “Sad Beautiful Tragic,” “The Outside,” “Labyrinth,” “This Love,” and “Epiphany.” The question thus arises as to whether these songs should be more popular, with “Labyrinth” being the most popular of the lot. One may also choose to take a quiz with friends for the purpose of comparing results.

What does forgive but never forget mean?

Forgiveness and forgetting are essential components of a healthy life, allowing for growth and success. Forgiveness allows for a complete move forward, while forgetting keeps us in a cycle of now and prevents future bad investments. Both components should be independent, with the former taking the longest and the biggest challenge. The process of forgiveness and forgetting should be simple, starting with the ‘forgiveness’ component and feeding into the ‘never forgetting’ component. The approach depends on the individual and situation.

Why forgive and forget is wrong?

The author argues that sometimes choosing not to forgive and forget can be protective, as it minimizes or nullifies another person’s role in causing offense. This practice has a greater negative effect on mental health than not forgiving. Leaders, teachers, parents, mentors, self-help gurus, and religions promote forgiveness to free up energy and move forward. However, the author disagrees. They argue that actions taken under pressure are more about emotional self-preservation than true desire, and pressure is always an indication of something might be amiss.

Did God say forgive but don’t forget?

The phrase “forgive and forget” is not referenced in the Scriptures. However, it is stated that love is a powerful force that can overcome numerous sins.

Swift’s albums Red and Red are not about love, but rather about aging, fans, feuds, and career longevity. Red features songs like “22” and “The Lucky One”, which explore life in her early 20s and fame. In her Taylor’s Version, “Nothing New” and “Forever Winter” are about aging and mental health. Perry hired Swift’s backup dancers to leave The Red Tour and travel with her on her Prismatic World Tour, which has since made up. Perry was even seen singing along to “Bad Blood” at Swift’s Eras Tour.

  • I had a theory she was doing this and that’s why people were forgetting her concerts. I hope they realize this. It’s scary how many kids are becoming new age and getting in to witch craft. I had to talk to a 5th grader about not casting spells (after she checked out a library book on casting spells), I’ve also had to tell students not to play Ouiji boards and do other witch craft that they probably learned in social media.

  • I think i may have met taylor before on a metro. She showed up wearing all black with curly blonde hair. She wouldnt show her eyes. I tried to look to see if it was her and if she would look back. She had this soulless empty look, on her face, laced with slight menace. For how much people seem to love her she wasnt friendly looking. i had this weird vibe about her too, like normally with cheery upbeat people i get the warm fuzzies. But with this supposed taylor, it felt cold and unwelcoming. I highly highly suspect she is dabbling in some kind of witchcraft. in Hollywood a lot of celebrities do, and they dismiss it as conspiracy theories or insanity. But it’s real. 😮
