The Number Of Heavens In Jewish Mysticism?

Jewish cosmologies, including Kabbalah, offer deep insights into the nature of God, His interaction with the world, and the purpose of Creation. The Hebrew Bible describes Shamayim as the dwelling place of God and other heavenly beings, one of three. The development of Jewish mysticism can be traced back to the second century C.E. when Merkava mysticism emerged, focusing on breathtaking visions.

Jewish mysticism differs from all other mystic schools, as it is based on the public Revelation at Sinai, when the Torah was given to Israel. Merkava mystics likely experienced ecstatic visions of celestial hierarchies and the throne of God. In Merkava mystical literature, the ascent of the visionary’s soul is considered an abrupt ascent.

The seven heavens refer to seven levels or divisions of the Heavens, which are not explicitly stated in the Scriptures. The Talmud refers to seven heavens, which are called VILON (curtain) and RAKI’A (expansion or firmament). The motif of seven heavens was probably borrowed from Babylonian tradition by Jewish apocalyptic writers.

The cosmology of seven heavens is the most developed model in early Jewish and Christian traditions, with the exact number varying from three to ten. The wisdom of the desert sees prayer of the Name as a hallowing of seven heavens, which involves a harrowing of seven hells. Different traditions have different numbers of heavens, with the Jewish mystical text, the Zohar, claims there are 390 heavens and 70,000 worlds.

What is the 7th heaven?

In Islamic and Kabbalistic traditions, the seventh heaven is understood to be the highest celestial realm, where God and the exalted angels are believed to reside. This realm is characterised by intense happiness and bliss.

What religion believes in 3 heavens?

In his work, Jean Daniélou, a Roman Catholic theologian and cardinal, presents the argument that contemporary Jews have developed the three-step attainment of God’s glory into a system of three heavens: the heaven of God, the heaven of stars, and the heaven of meteors. This development is predicated on the conviction that the realms of the divine, celestial bodies, and meteorological phenomena are inextricably linked.

Do Mormons have 3 heavens?

Mormonism posits that heaven has three degrees of glory, or kingdoms of glory, as the ultimate dwelling places for all who have lived on earth after being resurrected from the spirit world. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) believes that the apostle Paul briefly described these degrees of glory in heaven in 1 Corinthians 15:40-42 and 2 Corinthians 12:2. Joseph Smith received a vision with Sidney Rigdon in 1832, which enhances the understanding of heaven and is recorded in Doctrine and Covenants (D and C) Section 76.

According to this vision, all people will be resurrected, and at the Final Judgment, they will be assigned to one of the celestial, terrestrial, and telestial kingdoms. Only a small number of individuals who commit unpardonable sin will not receive a kingdom of glory in heaven but will be banished to outer darkness with Satan.

What is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd heaven?

Early church fathers, many of whom were taught by the Apostles, discussed the concept of three heavens. The first heaven was the atmosphere where birds fly, the second heaven was the space where stars reside, and God’s abode was the third heaven. In 2 Corinthians, Paul the Apostle writes that a person in Christ was caught up to the third heaven, where they heard things that no mortal is permitted to repeat.

Some Christians argue that the idea of three heavens is found nowhere else in the Bible, and Paul is referring to the spiritual heaven, or non-physical place where God is, with the term “the third heaven”.

This view suggests that the first and second heavens refer to the physical “heavens” where the atmosphere and outer space are, and “the third heaven” signifies the “heavens” other than either. These ideas are also evident in the non-canonical Second Book of Enoch.

How many heavenly beings are there?

The text explains the classification of the Orders of the super-celestial Beings and their hierarchies among themselves. It states that the deifying Author of their consecration knows their proper powers, illuminations, and sacred and super-mundane regularity. The Word of God has designated the whole Heavenly Beings as nine, with three threefold orders: the Holy Thrones, Cherubim, and Seraphim, which are all around God and are united closely and immediately to Him.

The first Hierarchy is the most exalted Beings, who hold a higher rank than all due to their immediate proximity to God and the first-wrought Divine manifestations and perfections passing earlier to it. They are called “Burning”, “Trees”, and Stream of Wisdom, each denoting their Godlike characteristics.

The Seraphim, known for their constant movement around things Divine, constancy, warmth, keenness, and seething, are ministered by the first Hierarchy. They are called “Burning” and “Trees”, respectively, and are known for their knowledge, vision of God, readiness to receive the highest gift of light, power of contemplating the super-Divine comeliness, and ungrudging communication with those next to them through the stream of given wisdom.

The Cherubim, on the other hand, are known for their knowledge and vision of God, their readiness to receive the highest gift of light, their power of contemplating the super-Divine comeliness in its first revealed power, and their ungrudging communication with those next to them through the stream of given wisdom.

The most exalted and pre-eminent Thrones, on the other hand, are manifested exaltation above every groveling inferiority, their super-mundane tendency towards higher things, their unswerving separation from all remoteness, their invariable and firmly-fixed settlement around the veritable Highest, their receptivity of the supremely Divine approach, their bearing of God, and their ardent expansion for Divine receptions.

Are there 7 or 8 heavens?

The concept of seven heavens in mythological or religious cosmology refers to seven levels or divisions of the Heavens, found in ancient Mesopotamian religions, Judaism, Islam, and the Christian Bible. Some traditions, including Jainism, also have a concept of seven earths or seven underworlds, with metaphysical realms of deities and observed celestial bodies. The plurality of the heavens was not limited to the belief in seven heavens; ancient near eastern cosmology largely accepted the existence of three heavens.

In Jewish cosmologies, the number of heavens could range from 3 to 365, with 7 being the most popular figure. The belief in a cosmos structured into seven heavens likely originates from the seven visible heavenly bodies.

How many heavens are there in Jewish?

The Biblical author envisioned the earth as a globe of earth and water, with heavens above and the underworld below. The raqiya, a solid inverted bowl above the earth, was used to prevent flooding. A newer Greek model emerged around 300 BCE, viewing the earth as a sphere at the center of seven concentric heavens, one for each visible planet plus the sun and moon. The realm of God was in an eighth and highest heaven.

In the 1st millennium CE, Jewish scholars developed an elaborate system of seven heavens. These include Vilon, Raqia, Shehaqim, Maon, Makon, Zebul, Araboth, and the seventh heaven. Each heaven is governed by an Archangel, with the first being governed by Archangel Gabriel, who is considered the abode of Adam and Eve. The second heaven is controlled by Archangel Raphael, with the third being under the leadership of Archangel Hanniel. It serves as the home of the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Life, and is also where manna, the holy food of angels, is produced.

The fourth heaven, ruled by Archangel Michael, contains the heavenly Jerusalem, the Temple, and the Altar. The fifth heaven, under the administration of Samael, is said to be where the Ishim and the Song-Uttering Choirs reside. The sixth heaven falls under the jurisdiction of Archangel Zadkiel. The seventh heaven, under the leadership of Archangel Cassiel, is the holiest of the seven heavens, housing the Throne of God attended by the Seven Archangels and serving as the realm in which God dwells. Under the throne, the abode of all unborn human souls lies, and it is also considered the home of the Seraphim, the Cherubim, and the Hayyoth.

What is the 6th heaven?

The six heavens of the world of desire, also known as the six desire heavens or six heavens of desire, are located between the earth and the Brahma Heaven in ancient Indian cosmology. These beings are dominated by desire and consist of the Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings, the Heaven of the Thirty-three Gods, the Yāma Heaven, the Tushita Heaven, the Heaven of Enjoying the Conjured, and the Heaven of Freely Enjoying Things Conjured by Others.

The Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings is halfway up Mount Sumeru, while the other four heavens are in the air. The sixth heaven, also known as the abode of the devil king, is situated between the summit of Mount Sumeru and the Brahma Heaven.

How many heavens are in the book of Enoch?

The Second Book of Enoch, also known as 2 Enoch, is a pseudepigraphic text in the apocalyptic genre, describing the ascent of the patriarch Enoch, ancestor of Noah, through ten heavens of an Earth-centered cosmos. It is distinct from the Book of Enoch, known as 1 Enoch, and there is an unrelated 3 Enoch. The cosmology of 2 Enoch corresponds closely with beliefs of the Early Middle Ages about the metaphysical structure of the universe and may have been influential in shaping them.

The text was lost for centuries but was recovered and published at the end of the nineteenth century. The full text is extant only in Church Slavonic, but Coptic fragments have been known since 2009. Some scholars attribute 2 Enoch to an unidentified Jewish sect, while others regard it as the work of first-century Christians. Some consider it a later Christian work. It is not included in either the Jewish or Christian canon, except that it was heavily utilized by the Bogomils.

Where is the 8th heaven?

The eighth heaven is a dynamic entity that connects light and love, offering life in light and the ability to affect the lower worlds. By dissolving the ego, happiness grows, and one can become a cosmic mother or father of all beings. A spiritual master, who devotes their life to the service of others, can live in the eighth heaven by either walking the spiritual path to the destination or practicing a dual path, making themselves spiritually to the target and simultaneously helping fellow humans.

A spiritual master can live in the eighth heaven in the ultimate double happiness, living in the light (in God) and the dimension of love. This path requires wisdom and often involves taking grief into account to guide others on the path to the light. A spiritual master brings all elements into balance within, achieving inner calm through outer peace, spiritual exercises, and trust in God.

The path of love is a mystery, but it feels like a sacrifice and ends in overall happiness. One day, inner happiness fills the whole world. Compassion is an important spiritual quality, as it helps to balance the elements and lead others towards the seventh heaven.

  • What is interesting about perusal articles like this, is it is very clear that they do not know what they are talking about at all concerning the afterlife. They look as if they are sort of guessing and having an idea about it, not that they are speaking from any sort of concrete knowledge. Isn’t it better to just say “I don’t know?” than to pretend you have knowledge about something that you do not? I love the positive energy. It just appears as if this person is making up an answer to a question that he knows absolutely nothing about.

  • In spirituality with multiple near death experience accounts I learned that ‘hell’ is a state of mind, it’s not a place meant for eternal damnation. People ask how this can be, how can people who have done terrible things go to the same heaven as those who were good people? From what I’ve heard there are different levels to heaven and when we die we go through something called a ‘life review’ and in that we look at our life from start to finish, birth to death and we experience every single thing we’ve done both good and bad. So everything we’ve done to others we will experience in THEIR eyes, THEIR POV both physically and mentally and with that we will realize the pain we’ve caused, not only the pain but also the good. Do unto others what you would have them do unto you. We are all ONE. To me that sounds pretty fair then a eternal damnation because we’re not using ‘Lucifer’ as a scapegoat. You don’t get to get a free pass for what you’ve caused, EVERYBODY experiences a life review, even the ‘best people’ will experience some of the hurt they’ve caused because we all have caused hurt and you will have to face it. You don’t get to skip it, you WILL face it.

  • I’m not religious, but I think heaven and hell in the Jewish faith sounds the most interesting and the most logical out of all of the religions. There is such a wide spectrum across the Jewish faith and I feel like truthfully regardless of what religion we are, deep down we don’t know what happens in the afterlife or if there even is an afterlife. The whole concept of an afterlife is fascinating.

  • John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

  • The rabbi’s description of “hell” is exactly the Catholic concept of purgatory — a time limited state in which you realize fully who you were vs who you could have been. Hell is defined as “eternal separation from God” and Catholics are required to believe that it exists but not that any soul is there. In Bulgakov’s great novel “The Master and Marguerita” the last soul to leave purgatory is Pontius Pilate. I think today we might say that the last soul to leave purgatory (assuming that’s where he is) would be Adolf Hitler.

  • Subhan Allah! After perusal this article my belief on Quran become even stronger. In Quran Allah says that Jews claim Allah will not send them in hell. Even if he would; hell fire will not touch them but; just for few days. Exactly as this Rabbi claiming. To counter this argument Allah gives counter argument in Quran. Does Allah have given Jews any assurance or promise that hell fire will not touch them but just for few days? Or it is just a assumption Jews have fabricated. Base on this assumption these Jews and Zionists are committing horrible crimes against humanity. Don’t be in any fools paradise that you will just remain in hell for 12 months. You will remain for eternity if you don’t repent. One more thing you will not burn in shame you will burn in real roaring agonizing hell fire flames. Choice is yours to make.

  • I’m Christian, but I almost always understood the fire, weeping, and gnashing of teeth to be symbolic of the emotional/spiritual/mental regret of not choosing to live a life the way that Jesus Christ taught to live. I also understood the riches of heaven to be symbolic (or at least reduced to something as valuable gold being used as street construction material) compared to being in God’s presence forever. The Christian view of Jesus Christ is that He restored the relationship between God and man; anyone who does not choose that chooses on their own accord to live forever in a place away from God. So the core of the Christian view of hell too is separation from God; the physical characteristics were simply to paint a reality of how hard it will be to truly live outside of God’s presence – like that heavy feeling that a person feels when they are stressed or feeling like they can’t get through something, it literally feels like your soul has weights pushing you down. I believe that type of feeling (and some that we have never even experienced) awaits those who choose to live eternally without God. I’m failing to see how ghenna is described anywhere in biblical teachings to be temporary. We are given one life this side of sheol and judgement to decide where we want to spend eternity. Ghenna, referring to the ancient garbage dump south of Jerusalem, isn’t a place of refinement; it is a place where garbage is burned. I love all peoples, so I’m not calling those that do not turn to God through Jesus Christ as garbage.

  • Jesus Christ had specifically warned about this place called Hell(Mark 9:43-48). Hell is not someone’s mysterious idea or ferry tale. Hell is a real place. Once you end up there, there is NO turning back. I am not going there because of Jesus in me and I am glad I will be in Heaven with Jesus. All my sins have been washed, cleansed and forgiven by the Blood Of Jesus Christ. Amen.

  • I see all these comments, I’m just as confused about the concept of Hell and heaven, according to others beliefs / religion. I would hope Hell is not depicted as Christianity or Islam say it is. That is extremely terrifying, and it causes many people to disbelieve, becoming angry, or scared everyday of their life, because they did bad and feel like they won’t be forgiven. I can honestly say I’m extremely scared about Hell, I’ve had people in my life that did me wrong but I would NEVER want then to EVER go there. Sometimes I think, if God is all loving, God wouldn’t put something he created to suffer forever, it seems unbelievable yet believable, because if that’s all you know Hell to be, as a place for sinners burning forever, it’s hard to think of Hell as something else. I’ve been worried trying to find the answers, but it’s only wasting my time being scared and depressed, I would just have to follow from here on. My God forgive me and everyone.

  • I’ve never been a religious man but I’m studying different religions on my own time and im amazed to find how respectable the Jewish religion and ethics are. I can only imagine how more peaceful of a life one could lead without growing up being told about all the different horrors that await you if you do any number of things wrong.

  • It’s baffling where the classic tortured-forever-in-flames Christian hell comes from, because it isn’t even found in the New Testament. The most frequent references are to being banished to the ‘outer darkness’, which seems to be a state of separation from God. There’s a single reference to those not found written in the Book of Life being thrown into the Lake of Fire, but if the whole chapter is read, even if taken literally it appears to be annihilation, not eternal torment.

  • So according to his idea of hell.. I’m in hell now and I have nothing but more of the same to look forward to if I die and go to hell. Sounds a bit redundant seeing as his idea of hell already sounds better than the life I’m living. How about I skip to that right now and avoid the feeling like shit while I do it. Hell sounds like a few steps up.

  • Isaiah 53:1 “Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. 4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished. 9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

  • The God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob has a clear message. God, the father of many, laughs, at the deceiver . Judaism and Christianity suffer from the same deception, they were warned in the OT and NT not to take away from or add to The Holy Scriptures. The Torah is the Truth not the sages or the church fathers. Gott Torah Gott Truth

  • I agree with the Rabbi. I always wondered how in the world can a loving father let his children burn in Hell for eternity. As a parent I love unconditionally and The Bible said not even a parent love for his/her child can compared to Gods love for us. I was brought up as a Hindu and was fortunate enough to learn other religions at a very young age.. I remembered how I felt reading the Bible for the first time as if my soul knew this loving God and the Bible was just awakening up m memories of him. However! Certain parts of the Bible could not fit the loving God who created me and that’s where I believe that some things in the Bible was miss interoperated like burning in hell for ever and ever. Knowing how lost humans are that’s a very wicked thing to do to a created being who didn’t asked to be here in the first place!!

  • Jesus Christ warned of hell in Matthew 18:7 “Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! 8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.”

  • There is a hell made for the devil and all his fallen angels there is a spirit of deception upon this world that is rooted in all religions . Let GOD be true, but every man be a liar, as it is written, That thou mightiest be justified in Thy sayings and mightiest overcome when thou art judged . God created man and man created religion know that it is not in religion but in a spiritual relationship with man though YESHUA HA’MASHIACH King of kings Lord of Lords Alpha and Omega beginning and the end

  • Jews not believing in an afterlife means they are free to be atheists. I asked a ‘Jew’ hey do you really believe Moses parted the Red Sea? He said i don’t believe in fairy tales. Though when you hear what God told Moses ‘I’am’ is my name ——strange name—it all makes sense when you get to Jesus and the San Hedron. Then you realize oh dear, God has the power of time travel. If a Jew believes in Heaven he is believing in what Jesus taught.

  • HELL is Real & HEAVEN is Real therefore God gives Us a Choice to Choose 1 …..Do Good Works, Except Christ as your Lord and Savior, Repent / Turn away from Sin by Doing the will of God = Reward = Heaven 😇 Do Wicked & Evil things, Wilfully Don’t except Christ as your Lord and Savior, WilLfully, Steal, Lie, Fighting, showing Hatred towards others, and All other Wicked & Evil things you do knowingly that is not Right or Just, and Refusing to Repent and Turn from Sinning = your Will Reap what You Sow = HELL ……We Serve A Just & Fair God !! REPENT, REPENT, REPENT AND CHOOSE LIFE !!

  • The hell the good rabbi mentions is actually purgatory, purgation of the soul….. Out of body experience: Ezekiel – picked up by his hair and carried to Jerusalem. He ate/tasted food etc Job 7: 14 – you scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions Isaiah 21: 2 : a grievous vision is declared unto me. Job 4: 14: Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. Isaiah 24: 22 – And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison Proverbs 7: 27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. Job 17: 16 They shall go down to the bars of the pit Jonah 2:6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains, the earth with her bars was about me forever Isaiah 14: 9-10 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming, …They shall speak and say unto thee “Ärt thou also become weak as we?” Psalm 88: 4 I am counted with those who go down to the pit; I am like a man who has no strength Isaiah 38:18 Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth Leviticis 17 : For the life of the flesh is in the blood – you have no blood or water coming from your wounds in hell. There no life in hell, so no blood. Zechariah 9:11 – As for you, by the blood of your covenant,I have freed your prisoners from a waterless pit..( * (9:11) The blood of your covenant: the covenant between the Lord and Israel sealed with sacrificial blood (Ex 24:8).) Psalm 103:17 But the LORD’s mercy is from age to age, toward those who fear him.

  • this is completely against what the Sages have taught us in the Gemara and many other books. There is a real fire and suffering of Gehinom that is discussed in the book Reshit Chochma, or Rambam, or Gemara or other places. The only time in history that there is being views that contradict it is in today’s politically correct and weak society that believes that Am Israel and the public cannot handle the truth of Torah (or anything else for that matter. Portraying Gehinom like the “washing machine” or “distance” he mentioned in the Torah is pure heresy and falsehood, and since JTV is all about getting people to the “Truth”, I would be very happy if you actually verify everything I said versus what he (and many like him) say. It’s not that we want to debate, but rather is enough of this wishy washy version of the Torah that cuts out parts like Reward & Punishment because it is no longer convenient. You want truth, its only a few clicks or pages away.

  • Where is the “cloak” for your sin? Is GOD now not Holy? GOD forbid. The bible says, (1Tim. 2:5,6) For there is one GOD and one MEDIATOR between GOD and men, the MAN CHRIST JESUS. Who gave himself a ransom for all, TO BE TESTIFIED IN DUE TIME. Jesus Christ, THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO ONE COMES UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY HIM. AMEN

  • As a person who was raised baptist, this seems so much more just then the concept of eternal torture. How can a punishment of a just god be the same punishment that a evil psychopath would do to their victim. Doesn’t make any sense at all and the Christian explanation of “god doesn’t intend you to go there” but he knows every person except a few is going there so it makes absolutely no sense.

  • Calling Dante’s Inferno a Christian text is just like calling Schindler’s List apart of the Tora. It shows a serious lack of knowledge on the subject. There is an old say that goes, he who only understands one side of the argument, understands neither… Some studying would do this nice young Rabbi great good..

  • Jesus Christ said this in Luke 16:22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ 25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ 27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ 30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

  • Gotta love religious representatives from all religions…they have it all figured out. They can tell you everything their is to know about God and God’s interpretations But he doesnt know what the tomorrow’s news will read. Lets stop with all the self rightious claims of expert knowledge. Everybody is knowledgeable until that knowledge faces you….

  • … So remind, if the reminder should benefit; He who fears (Allāh) will be reminded. But the wretched one will avoid it – (He) who will (enter and) burn in the greatest Fire, Neither dying therein nor living. He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. But you prefer the worldly life, While the Hereafter is better and ever lasting / more enduring. Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. (Al-Quran 87: 9 – 19) According to arabic translations of the bible that you can find online, Allah (الله ) is the Creator of the heavens and the earth in Genesis 1: 1 Indeed, your rabb (Lord) is Allah, who created the heavens and earth … (Al-Quran translation 7: 54)

  • If only Jewish Rabbis would get their religion from the Word of God, the Tanach, instead of the Word of Man, the Talmud. Only then will they stop talking the same sort of dreamy guff, one can hear from the pulpits of Christian clergy at any time. By teaching that “soul” life continues after the physical body has died is not only absurd, it is making God a liar and contradicts what He declared to Adam would be the result of eating from a particular tree in the garden of Eden. “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, dying thou shalt die.” At the age of 930, Adam died. Sentence carried out in full and his mortality passed on to all his posterity. To say that Adam went from a life cursed by his sin of disobedience, “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out it wast thou taken: for dust thou art and unto dust shalt thou return.” To a life of heavenly communion and closeness with God after death makes a complete mockery of the punishment for sin. Death is the wages of sin. Sin is not a pathway to wonderful life in heaven! Death means, death — no more life. It does not mean life in another form, or in another place or in another realm. Death means you disintegrate into dust in your grave. As Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 9:5 “For the living know that they shall die: BUT THE DEAD KNOW NOT ANY THING, neither have they any more a reward. for the memory of them is forgotten.

  • Hmm not clear. I had heard in a article ( don’t remember which one though) that Jewish concept didn’t recognise the heaven and hell that Christianity does. And that the purpose of the messiah was to liberate Jewish people and set up a kingdom above all. Let me know if this is wrong that I heard. The Christian concept of heaven and hell comes from Yeshua’s teachings, I think.

  • Feels very spiritually bankrupt compared to my Christian faith. I do have issues when wondering about hell..so i was looking cause many mamy ndes and people in general have seen hell. Its not just..a thing written in a book long ago. Its as real today as 2000 years ago. Its a real..fiery torment..for eternity.

  • One thing I struggle to understand is when God said to Adam and Eve – if you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad you will surely die – there’s no reference to how they understood this to mean burning in hell forever or feeling regret then after joining God in heaven it seems they understood it to be none existent…. I can never get my head around this…..although I do believe in Yahweh and Yeshua whole heartedly

  • Depending on the person whose doing the presentation and command of the english language, word’s can be spinned to appear good. If the Rabbie’s concept holds water, tgen nobody needs to care, an easy ride awaiting all. However should hell and heaven be truthful then clearly, many will be in deep trouble. Always prepare yourself for the worse, aim high even if you don’t reach, you still close to your goal.

  • What does the the great mind of the Creator of heaven and hell say about Judaism? Like all other culture club cults (including Christianity) that are based on incomplete relics derived from the true one God’s word, Judaism is not a true religion while containing elements (Ten Commandments) of such. The only true religion is sent down by the Creator and it’s followers are those who surrender to Creator’s will as it is sent through all of His messengers. Therefore, Abraham was neither a Christian nor a Jew, but a follower and keeper of the faith in the one True, and therefore holy, God (Quran). That is the proper religion whose adherents, when asked a question regarding faith will respond with ‘Yes’ or ‘know’: not ‘Yes and No’ which fuses opposites together in ‘Con…fusion’. This confusion is coined by the cult’s followers as ‘wisdom’, when, in fact, it is absurdity in one of it’s forms (contradiction) touted as a bastion of the cult’s faith or knowledge base. Physical vs. Spiritual? Both better extol the Holy ones greatness—– Throughout all this confusion, truths, such as resurrection after death, are omitted. So, drawing from the well’s of self congratulatory confusion, the cult’s adherents/leaders refer to only a spiritual afterlife, not being inclusive of both body and mind. This is part of a larger modern day Judaism ‘God Complex’. wherein it’s adherents, armed with the task of helping God complete His creation as His partners or associates, believe that, in the afterlife, their ‘spirituality’ will merge with God’s in ultimate bliss.

  • A spirit is a person, it comes with personality . It has no body . But a ghost is the heavenly body of that person . The man without flesh, that also became flesh . He is called the Son of God in the old and new testament. Known as the Angel of the LORD, ore the angel of God who he sends in his name . Example : Exodus 23:20-21 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. His name is ?????? In him, meaning that Angel . Not angels, but Angel . Let’s go even before the flood . Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. The LORD declare his spirit also became flesh !!!! Hallo !!!!! Let’s go at the time of the eunuchs in Daniel 3 . Daniel 3:24-25 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Looks like who ??????? The king even explain further who the Son of God is in a figure of a man . Daniel 3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

  • I’ve seen a lot of arguing here in the comments section involving Jesus, Islam, Judaism, and so on. The harsh reality is there is no way for us to know the truth about God’s existence or His nature. Even more terrifying – we don’t know what will happen to us in the end. Most religious people take comfort in their belief systems, thinking that they have the truth and that they are in God’s favor because of it. Meanwhile, atheists are confident that no divine powers are perusal them and there is nothing coming after death. Yet anyone who honestly takes time to think things over will admit that they can’t guarantee anything. Religious analyses and debates have gone on for millennia but we are still just as blind as our ancestors. Any argument espoused by a believer or non-believer can be supported or criticized using compelling evidence. Even those of the same religion can disagree. Religious belief (or lack of it) is the ultimate guessing game. We are truly slaves to the unknown.

  • So even though christianity has different beliefs,, we do believe the more you sin, that separates you from having a closer relationship with God. When you are dying and you repent or atone for your sins, your soul becomes closer to God, so when you pass and your soul leaves your body soul goes to be with God.

  • Strawman understanding of Catholic doctrine. It’s a caricature to simplify Christian hell as physical. Art work is used to represent a spiritual reality. The hell described is a little similar to Catholic purgatory. The insinuation that a Christian idea of heaven is somehow less than that described is disingenuous

  • The after life is not mention in the Torah and all these things are only expectations from the rabbis not from Moses (PBUH) because god knows that the people of Israel were not ready to know about after life before knowing what’s there mission in life which makes sense that later god sent prophet Jesus (PBUH) with the Gospel to tell them about heaven and hell. And after him god sent the last prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with the Quran which speak in more details about the after life.

  • What about those who have no conscience Lol I guess God let them have a free pas huh? Or What about the sacrifices God ask for when you sinned against him to be seen clean by him? Last time I check, they were still discussing if sacrificing was necessary? Sounds like a man made idea… How are you forgiven?

  • rn im just simply a believer of God, not muslin nd jewish nd no shade but definitly not Christian. The idea of phyical torment seems like a fear tactic by humans to bring people closer to God but the jewish understanding of hell not being physical torment but rather emotional distress is something I believe God would go off of. Nd the pt about physical body not being there to be tormented makes a lot of sense since we will just be souls.

  • Asking for a friend, im not a jew but like to learn about other religion, Question: So if jews dont believe in heaven and hell, what is the point of praying, following tradition, celebrate holidays, reading holy texts etc.? So what happens to the bad jews when they died? Is it like if i do bad things like murder, rape or stealing or whatever in this world then i got away with it during my lifetime on earth there will be no punishment waiting for me? What if a person went thru hell on earth like Auszwicth or Dacau… is that it for that person?

  • jesus soul is not a jewish soul! Jesus soul had numerous life incarnations! There is only one god! not to be confused with the creator!! Jesus is not god! Jesus soul is not the son of god either! Jesus soul is just that a soul ! Jesus was only a man who died! If you have a soul you came from heaven & will go to heaven! This is not larry! This is the senior foundation angel!

  • 680 B.C. – Isaiah’s 2nd Vision of the Grave (Isaiah 66:24) There are corpses of men who rebelled against the law of God. For ever and ever they are eaten by worms and burned in fire! 530 B.C. – Daniel’s Vision of the Grave (Daniel 12:2) The wicked, whose names are not found written in the Book of Life, will after dying, awake to shame and everlasting contempt.

  • God is a Loving God. That’s what I want to believe. He had a plan for us all to b saved from the beginning, the ones that to not reach his mercy goes to hell?the ones that decide to worship the enemy maybe but someone that simple don’t care why would they have to pay that price if they never even asked to b borne?

  • The “sense of losing something” he thinks is more powerful than actual physical pain. I don’t think so. The object of spirituality is to let go of desires, possessions and ambitions. So, to say in the afterlife “I wish I could have used all my potential to become richer / smarter / more admired etc” is pure materialism.

  • some of the issues where I have found lot of confusion & ambiguity not only among common folks but even among rabbis & this issue I have even shared with a rabbi Josh Yuter are; after life Judgement Fate & free will hell & heaven Purpose of creation … Let’s start with death & afterlife death is a universal truth & everyone accepts it “Every soul will taste death.” what happens when u die? is there afterlife after death or we simply vanish? Rabbis will usually give u such statements that we believe in the afterlife, hell & heaven but we shouldn’t talk about it This is more a statement from a politician than a religious scholar. Now see some references to after life, heaven & hell which I have found scattered here & there in Judaism This world is an ugly sewer place ( as per Rabbi Wallerstein)and one second of afterlife is better than 120 yrs on earth. Talmud contains scattered descriptions of the World to Come, sometimes comparing it to spiritual things such as studying Torah, other times comparing it to physical pleasures, such as sex. The Talmud embellished this idea, claiming that Gehinnom is 60 times hotter than earthly fire (Berakhot 57b). In the Mishnah, one rabbi says, “This world is like a lobby before the Olam Ha-Ba. Prepare yourself in the lobby so that you may enter the banquet hall.” Some sources compare the bliss of the afterlife to the joy of sex or the warmth of a sunny day. According to one mystical view, every sin we commit creates an angel of destruction (a demon), and after we die we are punished by the very demons that we created.

  • Christians say one thing Jews something different,,Near death experiences say even something different than the 2 . The thing i do like with NDE is that ALL say they live outside the body and go someplace else. All see either family Elohim or an evil thing,,or all 3. I fear death because of the christian teachings. Every time i try to get closer to Elohim by prayer helping the lesser of these, and trying to obay the commandments.Ill do well for awhile then ill lust,,or ill be under the influence,,and i hear preachers say hay if this is how you live as a christian,,,,than your really not one and are going to hell. I always thought the reason we have the Christ was because we are sinful and need the Christ to get forgiveness. One preacher say one thing the other something different. The perfect christian who never sins lol i dont believ its possible they say will go heaven all the otheres will not,,,so i guess why try only.000001% could possible be like christ.WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO DISCOURAGE MAN,,,I FEAR BECAUSE I SCREW UP AT TIMES ILL DIE DURING A SIN AND BE HURT BY MY FATHER ELOHIM THATS SO SAD….

  • He seems like a nice guy, but I’m still not sure why this gentleman was interviewed for this question. I know the tradition is riddled with obscurity, but he gives no solid teaching here, and, worse yet, he makes condescending allusions to conceptions of Heaven and Hell that the majority of thinking believers do not subscribe to. (Perhaps someone could tell him that Dante was a writer, not a theologian or cleric.). Perhaps before representatives of a religion decide to publically make a statement about their beliefs they could do some real research into what other faiths do believe, and not just haughtily dismiss them. So based on this, how long did it take Adolph to have to go through this obligatory regret time until he was allowed into Heaven? Please, do tell. PS: Oh yeah, I agree with another’s comment: definitely we are talking about Purgatory here. For those of you so taken by this concept of passing through an intense state of compunction before proceeding to bliss, check out “Purgatory,” spelled like “Purgatory” 😉

  • Perhaps you would be interested in the POV of a modern Christian that uses the whole Bible as a single reference. Heaven in the Bible is 3 places, 1st=Heaven on earth is from Ge:1, it is as high as birds can fly. Man lives there and he is given a life of 120 years before God takes away a person’s life. Ge:2:7: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Ec:3:20: All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Ec:12:7: Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ec:9:10: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. The breath of life of saint and sinner goes back to the 3rd Heaven, That is Mount Sion from Hebrews:12. It is the Angels promised New Heaven as well as being the location of the Great White Throne which is what that passage is about. Some OT Saints were resurrected the same morning as Jesus and they are now serving in the Re:4 temple. That is in the 2nd heaven as it is for angels who are immortal beings. Their current home is the oon to as far as stars exist. When they are in Mount Sion that leaves the 2nd heaven ’empty’ and when New Jerusalem lands on this earthy at the end of the Bible that is where the flock will build their homes while the shepherds (the ones alive for the 1,000 year reign) will remain in New Jerusalem as that is their home.

  • He needs to learn more Gemara, Masechet Gehinom (Chapter of Gehinom) from Reishit Chochmah. Also Zohar, Shaar HaGilgulim, Minhat Yehuda, Ben Ish Hai etc read what our true sages say, hell is very real and extremely frightening. But its all about purifying the Neshama (soul). The sins drag us down to hell where as the Positive actions and obedience to the Torah bring our neshama closer to Hashem. Ultimately the real reward for the righteous is in the Resurrection, not “heaven” which is just a resting place for the soul.

  • Hmmmm… Lets look at this from a broader perspective, shall we? Some people think that hell is simply a (Second Testament) doctrine or a New Testament idea because there’s no apparently clear reference to hell in the First Testament. And there’s some truth to that in terms of trying to think through why hell is mentioned far more in the Second Testament than it is in the First Testament. So, we need to think through about how God reveals himself. Scripture, or God’s revelation, is progressive. God reveals himself in small ways over time, and then that revelation is cumulative. We then see that we get sort of indications of certain things early on in the First Testament (Torah) that we would not fully understand that well without the fullness of God’s revelation in the Second-Testament. So we can see that God does not give us the answer key, so to speak, early on; He builds on his revelation of himself and his purposes throughout time. So it makes perfect sense for there not to be an as robust a doctrine of hell in the First-Testament as there is in the Second-Testament. But that doesn’t mean that there’s not ways that we can look back in the First-Testament and see the reality of hell in its seed fashion. For instance, the word “Sheol” in Hebrew is used in a variety of ways in the First-Testament. Sometimes it refers to the realm of the dead or the nether world. Sometimes it has a more of a general connotation: both the righteous and the wicked go to Sheol, in terms of the grave.

  • Fire and burning in hell was from the ancient Persian faith of Zorastrianism. And then they acknowledged that it was symbolic of the burning off the sins of the damned soul and purifying them in preparation. It was adapted in Judiasm and then spread in a way where the symbolic was misinterpreted as the real. I don’t think actual burning in hell is accepted by any religion as what happens to the soul of bad people after death.

  • life…is a lesson,,,to understanding god…for only god..is important nothing else,is…for when our life is over,,our earthly life is gone,, never important,,but our soul..always is weather you see heaven or not or god only…is your choice for no one knows..what happened after death for only god knows

  • Love and respect Jews but I find it both frustrating and funny that you can’t hardly ever get a straight yes or no question from a Rabbi. It always starts with “That’s a very important question…” or “Well, firstly lets talk about (word you said) for a second” like Sir, please. Do you believe in Hell yes or no. “Why do you ask yourself these questions?”

  • Okay I have a simple question for you did you ever ask yourself which your hand you got the place of birth profit Muhammad can you go to left and right date of birth and when he passed away and the 999 of names of God so that’s not enough for you to believe in the day to go to paradise or hel I am just hhhhhhhhhhh to you

  • NO HEAVEN IN THE SPACE THE MEANING OF HEAVEN ARE THE INTILLIGENT OF LIFE BECAUSE THE INTILLIGENT ARE THE GOD BODY OR GRAVITY WITH MEMORY OF GOD INSERTING TO THE LIFE,,, AND NO INFERNO OR HELL HELL MEANING ARE THE DEATH OF LIFE AND AFTER DEATH THE GHOST ARE SUFFERED OF MANY PAIN THATS WHY THE SAME OF LIVING IN INFERNO NO HAPPINESS

  • Jesus Christ said this in Mark 9:42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. 45 And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. 47 And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48 where “‘the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.’”

  • I assume so. Abraham believed in heaven and hell. Moses believed in hell and Elijah believed in hell, etc. These are Jewish men who lived according to Jewish rules. Those who do not believe in hell are atheists. Jesus Christ is the way to success and understanding of the afterlife because Jesus preached hell more than anyone else. A true Jewish believer believes in Jesus because He exemplified the Jewish law and sifted through the traditions and laws that were irrelevant and brought out the important spiritual parts of the law which makes a person closer to God.

  • Where is he getting this information? Reconciliation in hell??? What? This guy needs to put down the talmud and grab a Bible! Deliver me, O Lord, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man; Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. Ps 140:1,10 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Dan 12:2

  • No wonder these people are doing so much oppression to Palestinians right now. So they think the worst that can happen to them is that they will say “Oh, so we shouldn’t have tortured and killed and robbed and maimed and destroyed Palestinians. Anyways, hello God, I’m here to enjoy you!!” I also wonder how this rabbi will feel when he tastes a tiny fraction of hellfire (unless he reverts to Islam, of course). Will he still be singing “I’m just a soul, I only feel emotional pain, I don’t feel physical pain, blah-blah-blah”?

  • Hell according to the rabbi does not have any accountability like Hashem gave in the Sinai where the Law was given to Moshe, when many died for being too rebellious people that would never go back to obey Him because He knew they had passed the point of not return. His explanation( The Rabbi) of Hell is similar in essence to the Catholic doctrine of the teaching of “The Purgatory”: you sinned and repent afterlife for a while go to purge your sins then come to Hashem’s presence., by the way, that catholic doctrine was taken by the multitude mixed of Israelite and idolaters that joined a false Israel( Except The Faithful Remnant Hashem knows) in the land more than 2000 years ago destroyed by Titus during the called Anno Domini; and the catholic church adopted during the roman empire and the development of a false called Christian church. ANY LAW ON EARTH TODAY IS JUST A WEAK IMAGE OF THE LAW OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, AND EVEN THOUGH MEN EXECUTE THEIR LAWS HOW MUCH MORE A LAW THAT GIVES FREEDOM FROM ALL KIND OF SLAVERY,; PHYSICAL, MENTAL OR DISTORTED SPIRITUALITY EVEN INTELECTUAL INNACURACY OF HASHEM DIVINE PURPOSES. HELL IS THE END OF ALL KIND OF EVIL THAT WILL BE DESTROY BY ITSELF BECAUSE EVIL HAS NOT ANY SIMIL WITH THE BLISS OF GOODNESS THAT COMES FROM HASHEM.

  • Heaven is real hell is real Ephesians 2:8 by grace are you saved through faith that not of yourself it’s the gift of god Salvation is free gift for god your good work only isn’t going to save you there is not righteous man on earth he does good and never sin Roman 10:9 if you confess your mouth Jesus is the lord you believe in your heart god raised him from the dead you shalt be saved

  • god said Q 56:41-44 And the people of the left—how ˹miserable˺ will they be! ˹They will be˺ in scorching heat and boiling water, in the shade of black smoke, neither cool nor refreshing. and also Q 74:27-31 And what will make you realize what Hell is? It does not let anyone live or die,1 scorching the skin. It is overseen by nineteen ˹keepers˺. We have appointed only ˹stern˺ angels as wardens of the Fire. And We have made their number only as a test for the disbelievers,1 so that the People of the Book will be certain, and the believers will increase in faith, and neither the People of the Book nor the believers will have any doubts, and so that those ˹hypocrites˺ with sickness in their hearts and the disbelievers will argue, “What does Allah mean by such a number?” In this way Allah leaves whoever He wills to stray and guides whoever He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord except He. And this ˹description of Hell˺ is only a reminder to humanity. and regarding the length of the time to stay in hell god said Q 2:80-82 ˹Some of˺ the Jews claim, “The Fire will not touch us except for a number of days.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Have you taken a pledge from Allah—for Allah never breaks His word—or are you ˹just˺ saying about Allah what you do not know?” But no! Those who commit evil and are engrossed in sin will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever. And those who believe and do good will be the residents of Paradise. They will be there forever. and finally god sent you a final warning Q 2:40-52 O children of Israel!

  • How can you go to heaven to be in the perfection of Jehovah with sin? How can man atone for his/her sin to be in the awesome presence of The Lord Himself? Christianity addresses this through redemption in Christ in that we are incapable (as non Jews) to come before The Lord through grace. So, according to Judsidm if I read the Talmud and keep the law perfectly at all times no mistakes I would go to heaven. But one mistake, how do I avoid Hell if in sin during my entire life?

  • That is because they say : The Fire will not touch us save for a certain number of daysThat which they used to invent hath deceived them regarding their religion. Koran Maida. And they say : The Fire ( of punishment ) will not touch us save for a certain number of daysSay : Have ye received a covenant from Allah truly Allah will not break His covenant or tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not

  • This is not at all far from christian perspective. This kind of emotional regret combined with development in love and patience toward others and oneself – this temporary, difficult yet puryfying state, we catholics call purgatory. We also believe that a person could choose with his free will that he doesn’t want to be with God and love others, doesn’t want to develop and become whole, just wants to live in this state forever. This we call hell (a permanent gehenna). There is nothing in hell taken from those medieval pictures of devils frying humans in eternal fire, those are only artistic images, which one can find also in the Talmud to be accurate. Heaven is for us also closeness to God and community of love with all other people. It’s just not availible by ourselves, none of us is so righteous to get to this state (a state, not a place) on his own feet. The way to get close to God is to change the way of thinking and believe that God is good and merciful and really interested in being with us – this is the message of Jesus -> change the way of thinking and believe in the good news about the closeness of God. By this we can accept His forgiveness and learn to be with Him regardless of our faults – and then by being close to Him we can also become better people. Can’t do that without Him. And the one great difference between out believes is that christians do believe in living in their bodies after the second coming of the Messiah. We don’t believe in just souls floating around, we believe in physical living, resurrection of bodies, just like in the prophecy of Ezechiel.

  • I believe, that the ONLY WAY we get to enjoy GOD (in Heaven) is THROUGH Belief in HIS SON THE CHRIST in THIS Life. I BELIEVE those who do not, GO to HELL, however for only as long as it takes for them to atone for their OWN sins. And yes, maybe view what MIGHT have been in this life, However it ends in annihilation. Yet anther MERCY even upon those wo did NOT believe in THE CHIST and HIS Atonement. Because for ALL to “enjoy GOD” Eternally, would render GOD as “unjust”. THINK about it BOTH “Hitler” or “Trump” and their followers BOTH enjoy that which the SAINTS enjoy? In the SAME Eternal Realm? After only a “period” of reflection on what might have been on Earth? Is this JUSTICE? NO, this is a mere earthly Time Out as earthy Parents of Sin do with their OWN children. NO, people, Hell is not a mere “Time Out” as comforting as that might seem to those who never repent of Evil nor Wickedness — “it’s ALL Good as they say” Do not be DECIEVED. Hell is not what EITHER “side” claims it to be. We MUST believe in The Offspring of GOD. JESUS was HIS earthly VESSEL, But THE CHRIST is WHO we believe in, & HE is SPIRIT and always has been. His presents in YOU evolves your CHARACTER “&” good works that results. NO just your works disjoined from a CHRIST CHRARACTER. This is WHY those (e.g Evangelicals allying with “anti”-CHRIST Trump) can DO good deeds for “Jesus” & Talk as if for “Jesus”, YET still end up fulfilling the JESUS prophesy of Mathew 7 — ENDING UP IN HELL NO, people: Pursue TRUTH, no matter WHERE it leads, or if you personally like it or not, and THAT is what it means to follow CHIRST & pursue HIM for HE is a synonym for ALL TRUTH & FACTS.

  • “And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their WORM shall not die, neither shall their FIRE be quenched; and they shall be an ABHORRING unto all flesh.” — Isaiah 66:24 (KJV) I will never join organised religion. He is supposed to be a rabbi. He shd know the Old Testament !! He talks abt other jewish writings instead .. written by men whom God hv not chosen to be His prophets. See how they complicate God ..

  • Jerusalem need to repent Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Jeremiah 31:31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: jer:11:3 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, 2 Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; 3 And say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, 4 Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:

  • weird, as a physical being who has never seen the life beyond the grave, how can you talk about something you know nothing about. Not once did you use a source from someone who had a NDE or use a source from a book who had spiritual inspiration.from God, like the Bible, or at least someone who had a vision. Why do I care what you think since you have never died nor have you talked to anyone who has and should therefor not have a opinion on the matter. You admit that life beyond the grave is probably spiritual and yet you consult only non spiritual sources

  • Alhamdulillah !! All Praise belongs to God Alone You are talking about Islam without any understanding that’s why knowledge is key to ignorance. God says in Quran and you read it yourself. Of course, the greatest reward in Heaven is receiving Allah’s pleasure and mercy. This honor is saved for those who believe in Allah and strive to live in accordance with His guidance. The Quran says: “Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord… and the good pleasure of Allah. For in Allah’s sight are (all) His servants” (3:15). “Allah will say: This is a day in which the truthful will profit from their truth. Theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath – their eternal Home. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they with Allah. That is the great salvation” (5:119). Come to Islam after reading and most importantly seek guidance from God alone if you are truthful.

  • I am blown away by the way he said about heaven and hell. All I know that while we are living in this world we need to be in the right path of life that is Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. Repent with all our “SIN’S and don’t do anything bad to yourself and to your neighbor after you repent.

  • Where is Jesus in all of this?! This is so blinding… I mean no offense but if you believe that you get to heaven by you’re deeds you are surely mistaken. If you live you’re life doing you’re best to please God, and believing you’re still getting to heaven, you must of forgotten that you’re still and sinner and all sinners will take part in the lake of fire If you took this into court and you tried to tell the judge all the good things you did like donate money, help people out, etc… the judge won’t care at all, you have sinned and you’re good will not matter when it comes to you’re punishment, you’re headed to prison which is the same for God, you’re going to hell… There is good news though, there God came in the flesh 2000 years ago, his name was Jesus and he came to pay the fine. He came and suffered on the cross so you don’t have to! That’s real love. When someone pays the fine in the courtroom the judge can let you go because the debt has been paid, Jesus’s last words were “It Is Finished” meaning the debt has been paid. Jesus came to restore what was lost because of Adam and Eve in the garden. In Jesus there is freedom, it’s because of Jesus that we all can have a intimate relationship with the father, and it’s ONLY by his blood that you are washed clean. No animal sacrifice can wash away you’re sins, only a true perfect, sinless sacrifice can wash away you’re sins and that was GOD HIMSELF that died for all of us. When Jesus was baptized by John in the Jordan river, the clouds opened up and a voice said “this is my son whom I am well pleased” I warn you to be careful and if you have been raised being told that Jesus is not the messiah please, PLEASE read the scriptures you’re self and you will see that in the Old Testament it tells you the exact year the messiah will come, the year his ministry will start, the year he will be crucified, it will tell you everything about his life and what will happen.

  • Revelation 20:11 “Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”

  • JESUS talk about hell. Lazarus in the rich man. Luke 16 testifies it is to late to believe in JESUS after you die as Lord it is to late to beg for divine mercy. You have grace to repent in your life time 2 Peter 3:9 not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Yet people will perish once they passed the doorway of death without knowing Christ.

  • This is one example of how the jews corrupted their scriptures which was given to them by God. Suppose Hitler believed in God and now he is in Hell a place like this man described where he is only regretting for what he have done in his life, without being punished, tortured and then finally he will enter Heaven 😂 where is justice? Is that how an Almighty, allknowing God judges between criminals and victims ? A Hell which you are not burned with fire and tortured is not really a bad place.

  • after the earth destroyed and all creatures die. God will rebuilt your body with the cell of tail bone, its easy for God. You will put in hell fire or heaven. If u go to hell your body will hurt and destroyed, but built again, and its continue. Believe me. Heaven is garden with rivers, palaces, pearl, yes close to God, but there is feast (there is no alcohol tho).

  • Hell is being fully concise of self, in a place totally devoid of all that is beauty, all that God has made beauty, all that makes life worthwhile, all the while being totally surrounded with millions of others all experiencing the same torture yet all are fully unable to have any relationships, because relationship is from God. It’s total lonesomness without beauty, without joy, without pleasure, without hope, forever………………………….. >
