The One Ring, a unique card from Magic: The Gathering, has been found and certified as real by PSA. The card is part of the Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth expansion, which was released worldwide on June 23, 2023. The One Ring is a single, serialized, one-of-a-kind card for Magic: The Gathering. There are six versions of the Rings of Power and seven depictions of The One Ring, with two main groups: non-serialized rings and serialized rings.

In its 30 years and over twenty thousand different cards released, Magic: the Gathering only has five cards that include the phrase “Protection”. In addition to the One Ring, Wizards of the Coast announced that 300 serialized double rainbow foil Elven Sol Ring cards will be printed, along with 700 Dwarven Sol Rings and 900 Human cards. An unidentified winner found the one-of-a-kind “One Ring” trading card from the game worth at least $2 million.

Collectibles authentication and grading agency PSA announced that the MtG One Ring card has been “found” and “authenticated”. This special variant printing of the One Ring card from the game has revealed that the rarest, most sought-after card in the entire new Lord of the Rings expansion of Magic: The Gathering has been found. The One Ring card, printed as part of Magic the Gathering’s recent crossover with The Lord of the Rings, is printed 1/1, and there may only be one in existence.

The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth contains 281 regular cards, including the One Ring. Famous rapper Post Malone, a big fan of the Magic: The Gathering card game, has purchased the rarest card in MTG history, The One Ring, for $2 million.
