Ed and Lorraine Warren were American paranormal investigators and authors associated with prominent cases of hauntings. Ed was a demonologist recognized by the Catholic Church and had worked with seven other demonologists. Lorraine Warren, a clairvoyant and trance medium, claimed to have visited Dr. Thelma Moss, a psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania. They investigated alleged hauntings, wrote books, and gave lectures on paranormalism.
In 1952, the Warrens began working as paranormal investigators on over 10,000 cases. Ed was a self-appointed demonologist, while Lorraine was not a great psychic. They sold themselves as experts, with Lorraine believing her clairvoyance was a gift from God. Lorraine, who claimed to have clairvoyant powers, met Ed at the age of 16 when they went on a date. Lorraine saw a vision of Lorraine Warren at the age of 16, and they spent over 60 years investigating paranormal activity.
The onscreen version of Ed and Lorraine Warren is a far cry from their real-life counterparts, who considered their clairvoyance a gift from God. Lorraine, who claimed to have clairvoyant powers, met Ed at the age of 16 and they spent over 60 years investigating countless cases.

What happened to the warrens in real-life?
The Warrens, a couple who believed in demonic forces, were a controversial figure in the supernatural. They were buried in Stepney Cemetery in Monroe, Connecticut. In 1997, Steve Novella and Perry DeAngelis investigated the Warrens for the New England Skeptical Society (NESS), finding them pleasant but their claims of demons and ghosts to be meaningless ghost stories and dangerous frauds. They found common errors with flash photography and nothing evil in the artifacts they collected.
Novella criticized the Warrens for not doing good scientific investigation and focusing on a predetermined conclusion. Lorraine Warren criticized the Warrens for not relying on a God and emphasized the importance of solid, critical thinking in scientific investigations.
In an article for The Sydney Morning Herald, the investigation was used as evidence against the Warrens’ claims of having scientific evidence that proves the existence of ghosts. Novella argued that the Warrens were a nice couple, sincere people, but had no compelling evidence. They cautioned that claims like the Warrens’ served to reinforce delusions and confuse the public about legitimate scientific methodology.
Did Lorraine really see a nun?
The Nun, a film in the Conjuring franchise, follows the Warrens, who encountered a spectral nun in a Romanian abbey in the 1970s. The film is a prequel to The Conjuring, which detailed the real case files of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. The Warrens’ case files have inspired The Conjuring 2, Anabelle and Annabelle: Creation, and The Amityville Horror. The film’s ecclesiastical phantom resembles a real spectral nun they encountered during a trip to the haunted Borley church in southern England in the 1970s. The Warrens recruited photographers to capture evidence of the spirit, including bells ringing without warning, rumors of a headless monk, and a ghostly nun walking around at night.

They investigated hundreds of cases and had a daughter named Judy.
During their time together, Lorraine had a vision of Ed’s gruesome death, which frightened and saddened her. They were called to investigate a supposedly possessed doll, Annabelle, and locked it away. Despite the demon summoning ghosts to attack Ed, they managed to get it home and lock it in a case made of holy glass. Lorraine’s experience with the demon and the doll led to her becoming a paranormal investigator and demonologist.
📹 Top 5 Times Ed & Lorraine Warren Got Exposed For Lying
Ed and Lorraine Warren are often credited with being the world’s most famous paranormal investigators, but with a title like that …
FINALLY, someone addresses this. The direct quotes from both former associates in the paranormal field and families they worked with have been directly quoted as saying they are con artists that are all about the clout and money that comes with it. I’ll say that louder for the kids in the back: direct quotes can easily be found from people that worked for and with them since the early 70’s. It’s all info that is out there for research for any naysayer to double check on their own. Don’t take our word for it, look it up, it’s all out there. It’s about time that this Ed and Lorraine stuff gets discussed intelligently. We HAVE to speak truthfully about the people we hold up in this space. These people made their name and a nice shiny penny or two off of the biggest grift there has ever been: the religious grift. None of this is to say that all of these things don’t exist, it’s just calling out tomfoolery when we can prove that as to not sully potential real concerns. Now, if only we’d do the same for the Anneliese Michel case. That poor woman wasn’t “possessed,” she was neglected and her downfall was religious psychosis exacerbated by mental illness.
Ok, before I read the comments or watch the article, I have to step up to my honest opinion…( not that anyone cares, I just need to document this). I have never once believed a word out of her mouth. I believe he just saw a cash cow and ran with it. Together they lied their way into fame. Let’s see what you think.
I met Ed and Lorraine Warren back in the 90’s. I live in Connecticut as did the two of them, and they were travelling the state doing lectures. My sister and I went to one they did in our town. They brought pictures and slides (I hope some of you young people know what those are) of “evidence” they captured on their cases. Not a single one of those pictures or slides showed anything remotely regarded as actual evidence of the paranormal. Typical glitches with old style cameras but that’s all. They were trying to pass off glitches and bad lighting, and in one case, what looked like cigarette smoke as paranormal. I left there really disappointed (at the time). What a couple of frauds they were. I am still pissed I spent money to go! LOL Thank you Beardo for exposing these two.
I don’t need to support my opinion in this comment, you explained for me. Thank you ! I wrote a comment on another website earlier this morning, espousing the reasons I have never believed the Warrens. I’m in my 50’s, so I’ve had this opinion for a while, and it’s not been well liked. People love to love the Warrens, without actually researching the backgrounds of their case’s or the experiences of the families involved. These people weren’t simply harmless entertainers. They were f#cking dangerous. They caused harm. Case in point, the Connecticut haunting. The boy needed help, not a fucking exorcism. They also literally spent ONE day with the Peron family at the “Conjuring” house, and left the family, particularly the mother, in a far worse state than when they arrived. Just listen to Andrea, one of the daughter’s, telling her story. It sounds like there were mental health concerns there too. Not addressed, ignored for fame and money. That is NOT “good people”. I’m really pleased you did this article. It’s not being disrespectful. It’s honest. What’s disrespectful is people abusing the trust, and creating further trauma, in the lives of vulnerable people!
I found documentation!!! And the author who wrote it! A newspaper reporter named Jill Amadio wrote an article in 1975 titled “Raggedy-Ann doll puts ‘hex’ on three” about Annabelle and the real nurses (found them too!) and the author let me interview her!! She’s still writing and doing interviews! Blew my mind!! 🤯 I still don’t believe Annabelle is a haunted doll but I don’t think the author of the article does either! Or the original owner! Love this episode!!! 🖤👻🖤
Enjoyed the article. I have a few comments…information to add. Amityville – The Warrens were there one night, I believe. A night that was set up by a local news station. The photo of the “boy” is actually Paul Bartz, Ed & Lorraine’s agent. Annabelle – in their first book, The Demonologists, quotes Ed Warran saying the doll was not possessed. It never was. It was just a tool used by the alleged demon. So there’s no reason it needs to be kept in an easily breakable glass case. Snedeker Case – Lorainne claimed the funeral home employees engaged in necrophilia, not necromancy. Lorainne literally accused a longtime funeral home of criminal activity without a shred of evidence. This is in the book, In A Dark Place, when Lorraine was on the basement stairs and claimed to see an apparition that talked about “cold, firm bodies.” I find this claim by Lorraine so freaking horrible…tarnishing the reputation of a person without a care for the consequences.
They’re fake, I even called them fake when they were alive. The day I found out who they were, they were doing a ‘supposed’ reading on a haunted house. Nothing she or he did that is anything remotely like what a real reader/medium does. As this what Lorraine claimed. They looked at this place like it was a viewing for a really crap exhibit. They then just whipped out their bibles and started praying! I saw this footage when Youtube was but a baby and probably no longer on here. Thanks Beardo.
I’ve read an article about them. Beardo is right, the Warrens seemingly were good actors, but they were as magical as a new hammer. Most if not all of their top cases were just stories, or exaggerated to make them look like the real-life Ghostbusters. I guess there were paranormal fakers before there was Youtube after all. Great article! 😊👍
First!…Damn No I’m not 🤣 This was so well done Beardo! So sad that the most well known paranormal “experts” are just over glorified grifters. I actually met Lorraine Warren back in 2008 when I still believed in them and she seemed nice little old lady. Thank you for making this! Much love to you and Mrs Geek
I’ve never believed in them, nor do I believe anything Andrea Peron says! She goes on and on about the haunting and that she’s still able to communicate somehow with those spirits! What a bunch of crap!! Thanks for the topic!! I’ve enjoyed listening to you and reading what others had to say! Take care, feel better Mrs Geek and anyone else feeling sick! Much Love! ✨💙✨🖤✨🧡✨
Good article Beardo and I appreciate your research. There was also a documentary on Netflix about the Amityville story. In the documentary, Mr. Lutz’s stepson says that it was all faked for money. There were also some shows that I saw where Lorraine made an appearance, and I was never very impressed with anything she said because she really kept her statements vague
I always felt they were fake, (that sounds so big-headed, but not meant like that! lol) so I appreciate the research you’ve done. I’ve seen a few good docs showing they’re fake, but I know you’ll have done a really good dive of facts I’ll remember. Bunnies! You picked up on my new baby scampering around the lounge right now. 😉 The youngest son will love the facts about this, as he and his best friend love The Conjuring movies. They think they’re comedy with the believability, but he’ll love knowing facts. He’s a fact boy. Love to you and Mrs G. xxx
They were great storytellers, A couple that managed to create larger than life characters that went through extraordinarily horrible investigations. Bottom line is the evidence points clearly to the fact that that is what they were… just stories. But in the end that is really a sort of a tragedy because those stories and their work are actually the”foundation” for most of the teams creating “paranormal” content nowadays. And like them, in the end, the vast majority is just that… spinning stories to create “interesting” content.
I’m so glad you covered this subject Beardo. The Warrens have always been so divisive within the paranormal community. It annoys me when some peoples only reference, in regards to them, is from the movie portrayals I heard the story some years ago about Judith Penney and that Ed had her dress up as the ” The Lady in White” and run through the Union Cemetery . Lorraine’s motivation may have been entrenched in her religious beliefs. But! Ed’s were purely monetary
One thing you missed is the group that actually investigated “The Conjuring” never invited Ed and Lorraine. One of their members went to a lecture given by Ed and Loraine and mentioned they had an investigation scheduled and that the Warrens might want to schedule their own, only to have the Warrens show up at this other groups investigation and try to take it over. I wish I could remember the groups name or the website I first learned about it from, but that was just before the movie was released and as I’ve gotten past 50yrs my memory has started going some (Wife claims it’s because I keep stuffing more information in there.) I’ll see if I can find the site and link it here or send to your email.
The Lutz family have said the Warren’s talked them in to writing the book the proceeds mostly went to the Warren’s,the warrrems made most of the money and William defoe has said the house was def not haunted,I believe the Warren’s were clever the ways they made money and believed that could get rid spirits, theres new enfeild haunting documentary part acted but every wird is from recordings abd actors are miming to them ed and Lorraine warren are included, its one of the best i have seen on it
Much like @SparkyTuttle, I thought I’d share my thoughts about Ed and Loraine Warren before perusal this article. I’ve always felt that Loraine probably did genuinely have a gift. Maybe it’s not to the degree that it’s always been portrayed, maybe it is that intense… I don’t know. But, if Ed told me the sky was blue, I’d have to go outside and see it for myself. I don’t believe he ever did a thing that wasn’t some sort of scam, and I believe he used his wife’s gift to enact said scams. I also believe that Loraine went along with it because he was her husband and things were very different within a marriage back then. They grew up during the times when women didn’t dare go against or challenge their husbands in any way. As a woman, you simply did what you were told and you didn’t question it. I don’t think she was necessarily scared of him or anything like that, I just think she did what was expected of her as a wife. Maybe I’m completely wrong and they’re both complete scammers, and she was just as much in on it as he was, if not more. I guess it’s time to find out.
glad to see someone finally addressing them. i think their museum is good as it provides a place for people to send items that are haunted or that they don’t want because they think they’re haunted, whatever the case maybe! but other than that… they’re fake. the movies are great, but not real depictions of them
As always Beardo, interesting and well researched. Isn’t it odd though that whatever so called paranormal movie is made, there’s always small print which says “based on true events”. I guess that if the true story was told the vast majority of viewers would turn off after the first half hour. Keep up the great work.
So glad to hear more people discussing the reality of the Warrens. There is a Paranormal Witness Episode called “Suzy Doll” that is supposed to be a Warren Case, and I have always wondered if it was the show’s creative re-interpretation of Annabelle. There are striking similarities, and I have never been able to to find anything at all on it except for the episode of Paranormal Witness.
I’m American & not the least bit offended by this article. Actually, I wondered about the Warrens & came to my own conclusion yrs ago that they were frauds to get famous & make bank. I heard that Ed was very abusive to Lorrain. Now, hearing Lorrain didn’t want “extra marital relations” mentioned in a movie is REALLY SUS. Hmm, maybe Ed had some side piece(s) going on? The bottom line is they jumped on the fraud to fame wagon & went for a ride. We still see it these days with certain ppl who shall remain nameless out of respect for you, Beardo! 👍🏻😁 Much Love to you and Mrs. Geek! 🥰 Cheers!! 🍻❤️👊🏻
Finally so glad u have brought this out I have never believed them & always believed they was scam artists all these ghosts, demons & dolls & not 1 bit of hard proof many yrs I’ve been into paranormal & watched probably every show & film there is & couldn’t get my head round why their word was gospel. Even the vibe I get from them is horrible. Real Paranormal investigating doesn’t happen nowadays all for money subs n likes it’s really sad no1 cares about the truth or real proof anymore.
I’ve got a massive amount of respect for you just from this article alone. Most of this I already knew with the exception of no records on Annabelle. I’ve been shouting from the rooftops to anyone that would listen that these two are frauds for quite some time now. You nailed it here! Amityville and the Perron’s father (chef’s kiss). Folks do NOT talk enough about how he wasn’t impressed with the Warrens. The nail in the coffin for me was the faked evidence from Ed and his mistress. It only takes one fake to unravel the whole shtick. Can you imagine 30 years from now? Folks will be putting today’s frauds on the same pedestal the Warrens are on now. It is maddening.
So many investigators view them as paranormal researcher royalty when I think they’re really the ones that started people like Zak Baggans down his fakery path. They were the first to make money off of their investigations, so many investigators use them as a blueprint. It’s sad really. Thanks for the info Beardo!
I found you a few weeks ago when I got suggested a Mindseed debunking. I was PISSED because I was a Mindseed Stan. THEN I went and watch all your debunking on them & Colton reflected in the glass of that picture🤦 just DAMN! Don’t care about the Crayola Kids (too loud & always seemed sus to me… JMO) I so APPERICATE what & how you things Beardo and glad I didn’t start spewing 💩💩at you because I was upset over things you PROVED were fake!! I am 💯% a believer in paranormal, spirts, ghost etc (My son & I have had several things happen over the yrs). Love to you Beardo & the Mrs!
Hey Beardo, I’ve looked into Ed and Lorain several times. From what I can understand, Loraine had some small ability to sense spirits but it was Ed who wanted to capitalise on it, and because he is a bully pushed her to fake/exaggerate what she was feeling and I also think she began to believe in these abilities. As they say, tell a lie often enough that it becomes the truth. Keep up the good work mate.
I have heard during the years that there wasn’t all true. But the first solid evidence about that was when Andrea Parron actually told the truth about they being in the conjuring house. That her father threw them out. 🤔 That wasn’t the story they told🙄 But I what they did, was a lot for the paranormal. They where the first to really put it on the map. Because they didn’t care what people where saying, they did their thing. So in that way they opened up a way for paranormal investigators, so the could investigate and been taking serious. I actually loved that you did this deep dive on them. They are really people you want too know a lot about even if things where fake. They really are some fascinating people. Thank you Beardo this was really interesting, and I love that you always is seeking for the truth 🫡❤️🙏
Look at the historical context. The Warrens started investigating in the 50s, when interest in Sci-Fi (UFOs, mostly), and anxiety/paranoia related to the Cold War was spiking. Since neither of them were mental giants or had a ton of job prospects coming their way, I think they saw a way to grift off peoples’ fear of the unknown and leaned into it hard.
Aside from that I watched the first Annabelle movie alone in my apartment at night in the dark and that movie petrified me, I had at the time 2 very young daughters and that movie scared me and I have yet to be able to watch it again. To put this in perspective I watched it alone shortly after it was released onto DVD, I haven’t ever rewatched the first Annabelle.
In a word, charlatans. And they have taught and bred an entire generation of new charlatans. They caused harm to vulnerable people and dressed it up as paranormal. Ed was an abusive pervert that was able to get away with it because of fame and fear. Theirs was no great love story. I never understood the weird canonization of the Warrens, for no reason. It takes a special kind of scum to take advantage of desperate people.
Good work, Sir Bro-dude. (😂sorry) A bright light shines on this famous couple. As for respect for the dead, you were very kind. I have many deceased loved ones, and when we talk about them (or TO them), we don’t leave out the fact that sometimes they could be dumbasses or shitheads. Lol, we know and loved them thoughx 😢❤ my point is, just because someone is dead, doesn’t mean that they were perfect in life. We are all human (I think….) and the truth is always the best. Tell the whole story of those who have gone before. The good and the bad. Great article 👍🏽
6:07 — Annabelle in the films has always disappointed me because I heard the real account that became popular because of reddit many years ago before the films were even created. Someone asked (title might be off as i don’t remember the exact title) “What creepy experience have toy had that still haunts you to this day?” — In which the nurse herself mentions the raggedy Anne doll her mum bought her, she stated how her at the time boyfriend really hated the doll and though it was creepy. They all noticed weird things would happen throughout the apparent and the doll would constantly move so they got in a psychic who ACTUALLY said “there is a spirit of a little girl here who is lost and cant find her way home” and was looking at the nurses for protection, she FOOLISHLY gave the doll as a vessel calling her “Annabelle” so no only would she have a body and be held but she now had a name. After that it escalated, the boyfriend would find pins and knifes under his pillow, he threw the doll out and it came back no one knowing he actually binned her, same night he claimed the doll was on him trying to strangle him so he left her. theres some more to it but not much more, the story they told in the films was nowhere near what was ACTUALLY stated by the woman who owned the doll.. of course when the Warrens went in(which was noted in the original story) they said it wasn’t a child at all and infact was a demon, they did a cleansing and took the doll.
You should look into the Warrens’ case where the Exercise a werewolf. It was more that the Warrens said he was possessed by a wolf like spirit or whatever, offered to help the guy by flying him to America for an exercism and paid for it by offering exclusive rights to the guy’s story to a tabloid. I can see why they probably didn’t make a movie outta that one, but i kinda wanna see ‘The Warrens vs. The Wolfman!’
See, again, I think they started out legit. I’ve followed all their cases. And Lorraine was really a sweet woman on Paranormal State. But their son Tony is just a fraud, milking his parents’ name. Has anyone seen the website TFIL? I’m fairly new to paranormal websites on YouTube & I came across their website. Apparently they’ll plant a tree if you become a member, while also being ghost hunters.
THANK YOU FOR THIS! This is why I love the internet and RECEIPTS. No one had the ability to do full research before. That doll being put in a box and the way it’s (shown) being handled has always made my face turn crooked. What a joke. I’ve watched articles on people touring their “hunted museum” 🤣🤣🤣 I love how the whole thing is based on AN ENTIRE ROOM OF HORRIBLY CURSD ITEMS but throw some water on your shirt and say a few words and you’re completely guarded from hundreds of items being able to enter your soul! 💀💀💀
When paranormal tv shows became popular like ghost hunters, people on the shows started mentioning them as iconic. Now it’s just assumed they were famous. They weren’t. Stephen King made the Amityville story famous. The Warrens, specifically Ed, were selling the idea that Ed was called upon for difficult exorcisms by the Catholic Church. That they knew people in high places. That was their scheme. They were mocked and ridiculed for their claims. Now everyone thinks they were always popular due to the Sam and Colby’s and other you tubers like overnight, and paranormal files.
I’m so glad to see you do a article on these frauds! I’ve never believed a word they said. It was so obvious that she didn’t have a psychic bone in her body and was faking everything. I’m surprised by how little they’ve been called out and how many people believe they were the real deal. How convenient that all of their cases ended up being in books and/or movies. Great article, Beardo!
I did believe in them when I was young but then after reading books and articles about the people and places I felt lied to. I wish they had been genuine investors because their names still carry weight in some circles. When I was told about Ed getting punched in the face I thought, “That sounds about right “. I enjoyed this and I hope you do more like this❣️ Love 💕 and hugs 🫂 to you, Mrs Geek and your family 🥰💙🌹
Thanks for this article Beardo. Its high time someone told the truth about these two. I did enjoy them when I first heard of them, and I thought at first they were the real thing. It seems the money and fame bug was more important than honesty. I wasn’t crazy about Ed. I felt something off with him. 👋👋👋🙏🙏❣
Thank you! I always knew Ed was just in it for fame and money. I didn’t know enough to have an opinion on Loraine. I didn’t know if she actually believed herself or if she knew it was all fake. Also, the discount Hugh Jackman edit had me laughing so hard I had to rewind because I couldn’t hear what you said!
I totally agree with you Beardo. The Warrens said they investigated The Enfield Poltergeist when in reality, they were there for a few hours until they were thrown out! This truth has come to light from the two British investigaters that spend many months investigating and Guy Playfair who was one of them, has even said so publically. But everyone seems to ignore this fact. The famous photo of ‘the spirit’ in the Amityville house is apparently the child of one of the TV Crew, and said so by the TV Crew member himself!
The last story, the version I heard was that it wasn’t their son, the couple had a daughter. The boy was a nephew who for reasons lived with them. It’s believed that they started the hoax to cash up money for the medical bills and then it just went on. Later the family moved out. The wife wrote a book too. As you mentioned, the author was told that the family was insane, to agree with them and write something spooky. The Warrens were as authentic as The Fox Sisters.
hey Beardo, newer website viewer here, i watched a couple episodes of the debunking episodes and noticed you using slow mo and pausing and starting the article, i am probably a dum dum and have missed you use this but if you hit the, ( < )and . ( > ) keys while paused you can go frame by frame, catch the potential trickery even easier! anyway, keep up the good work i watch alot of these websites but i like to know if i am being lied to.
I think it’s crazy that people are just now catching on to them not being the perfect couple. The movies opened up new people to the paranormal, which I love because I’ve been into this stuff my whole life. I’ve never watched those movies because I knew the stories and I knew it would never be told right.
Even when I am making my articles on my website discussing hauntings I try my hardest to avoid any cases that had their involvement. I always felt that they were BSing the world. The Amityville house haunting never sounded truly believable either, nor the Nun and the other conjuring films. The movies and book are what they are purely entertainment and we need to keep that in mind. Its cool to like them and enjoy them, but they are far from the reality of anything. Even to this day the owners of the Amityville house never reported any strange things happening. I think on my website I mentioned LOrraine Warren once in a case, all she did was walk by the place and make a comment about that was it.
Not sure if you are aware, and as I am so far behind on your articles, there is a very intersting woman who does a brilliant podcast called Truth Or Demons, which can be found on YouTube, and she dives into the entire history, scandals, and all the cases where Ed and Loraine were involved. She’s a big fan of horror and spooky factor, and she does do a substantial amount of research on her findings, so what she says, has just that bit more credibility – not saying you don’t, just saying based on the amount of time and effort she spends on her research, it gives it all credibility. She has appeared a few times on The Side Eye Guys website, and she really knows her shit! I’m only on episode 2 of her podcasts, so I’ve not learned much from her, but what she’s said so far on there is amazing! She really picks apart every case, every aspect of the Warrens, etc. She’s really good. Her name is Stevie, but her podcast name is Truth or Demons.
Before even perusal the article I will say 100% agree with you most. I belive they fluffed 99% of their storys, as that was the only way they could get noticed. Maybe they had good intentions to help people, but they trully never took the time to sit down and study a case like the Famouse Enfield they did nothing and got credit like every other case…..
Knowing the truth makes people better…. the fact that stories can be “based on a true story,” and have most viewers take it as the Lord’s gospel is…. not healthy, if you ask me. I won’t pretend to be a medical professional. I’m a construction professional. But i know enough about life to form an educated opinion. If you believe everything paranormal that you watch (me at one point, because i wanted to be scared, wanted to believe) is not healthy. It blurs the lines between fantasy and reality, real and fake. Makes you more gullible…. to be entertained by it is one thing. To be entertained through the filter put up the leaders in the debunk community is better. A wise man once said “the truth don’t care about your feelings.” And if it does, then it’s not the truth, lol. Much love from Maine.
Glad to see someone else doing the real homework on the story I’ve always noticed people not doing the real research into there story . I do like the story universe but i found there to be allot people did not put into there vid’s about it either top mark’s for the research and how you presented it. And to tell people to look it up them self to get there own opinion’s and facts etc 🙂
While I was always incredibly doubtful of the Warrens to begin with, my biggest gripe with them aside from lying about the paranormal (and profiting off of it), was making a mockery of religion, i.e., the Catholic faith + exorcism in the process… wether one believes in the paranormal or religion, making a mockery of other’s beliefs (especially for monetary profit and social status) is deplorable in my opinion.
Hi Beardo and Mrs Geek, Finally someone said it…The Were Fake!!!! I never watched them because they just didnt seem believe-able…Maybe they started out as trying to help people? but the $ sign took over.. I hope Mrs Geek is starting to feel better 🖤🖤 Thank you both for all you do to bring about the truth for All to see..Stay Safe from your Tassie Weirdo :_poffghgost::_fakeghost:❤🙏🖤❤🙏👍🤗
As someone who also senses and sees spirits but I do not call myself a medium hardly anyone knows apart from 1 friend, my partner and family (again I will not argue with people who say that they do not believe me, again everyone has their own opinions and beliefs and I respect that) in my opinion and the things that I have learned in the past is that Lorraine had abilities and could sense and see however Ed had nothing and called himself a demonologist and the vibe I get when I look at a picture from him is that he made Lorraine over exaggerate and lie about things. To get fame. Those movies are so over exaggerated. And because of it being so faked and far from realities it literally allows those “investigators” to scam those who believe. If you got truly possessed the entity is not just gonna jump out of you like “aye I just got bored” lol doesn’t work like that, a simple prayer is not gonna work🫣 yes it is known for spirits to form an attachment to an item but it can’t just form parchment paper out of nowhere and magically write notes.. yes it would make itself known by moving items, or hearing knocking or steps but man that’s just laughable. And in fact because of Ed’s and Lorraine’s conjuring house movie the person who was called a “witch” basheeba wasn’t actually a witch she was a regular woman living a life and because of that movie her graveyard was constantly vandalised or destroyed because of the fakeness of that movie and what’s more sad is that they never put a new tombstone there again because how much it was being destroyed which is appalling imagine not being left alone in death because of some fake movie portraying you as a witch when you were just a regular person who didn’t even live in that house only a neighbour (Rant over😏)
😱 nnnNNNOOO NOT THE HOLY GRAIL. Hi beardo, weirdo speaking here, Ive come to a conclusion that wouldnt it save you a lot more time and effort for you just to tell us the ones who aren’t fake. 😂😂 But dont forget the big movie makers did exagerate a lot of it into the franchise film. & We ♥️ Them all.
Hello Beado do you know that P.S.I Paranormal are members of the Ed and Lorraine Warner Foundation maybe have a chat with Mark and Tony it is just a idea I am not taking sides just listening to both sides really good article as always you was really funny yesterday dressed as a clown lol keep up the good work take care peace and love xx
The thing about haunted houses, hauntings take place over a long period of time. The way they are portrayed and movies, it’s sped up, so the viewer is entertained. True haunting happening sporadically. I believe that demonic entities need to build up their power overtime and the fear in between sightings builds that entities power.
Im proud to be a weirdo boil, but lately? I have been increasingly proud of both beardo, shape, parpple,PPP and mr.grey and SEG, and all of us who either fell for a minute but had a helping hand from one of the above stand up guys, or just always knew, i dont think i had ever thought in my wildest dreams how EVERYTHING is unraveling, and how thorough the debunking are, in depth analyse, pure raw logic, a bit of psychology, and us Weardos keeping an eye out, letting the guys know, and debating in a fair and calm kind manor, usually, im really proud to be here to experience it, they all prye on old bad things that happened, but are exaggerated to the max, the Conjuring house latest 3 episode with sam and Colby had/have the potential to be something like that in 40-50 years of it wasnt for Beardo and the OG Debunking wrecking crew holding the grifters and fakers at bay and to account, simply calling them out, 1 by 1, bit by bit. (Lees tit after tit) sorry just couldnt help my self) you actually made me smile and get my may be bad humorz but i smile again and dont think about the bad way i felt 9 months ago when i first saw your article on TIT’S Vlad poltergeist Story ..and it dawned me that i had been had. Once was lost, bit thanks to you M8. Now found. Bless ya, bless med geek and each and everyone of you Beautyfull fellow Boils and Ghouls ❤❤❤❤ Vores . Out. 😊
Amityville was never haunted – The father was involved with a crooked drug deal, the son was perusal a WW2 movie while sneeking some of the drugs, the sister that was in the attic was mad at the parents. She made sure the gun in the room was loaded. The movie, if you research the TV line up had the lines ‘They are going to kill us unless we kill them first, get your guns and kill them’ – Read his testamony in the local paper on the trial. That is what he claimed the ‘spirits’ told him. The sister killed the parents though then killed herself. There were two different bullets used. The Lutz family wanted attention. They took the murders and the kid’s court comments and created myth. There was a TV special that exposed all these facts. The only thing not debunked was when the Lutz family found a small blood red room not on the property blueprints which is almost always ignored in books and movies. Must be just as fake since they try to avoid it.
Hi Beardo and Mrs Geek. I never liked Ed Warren to be honest he always left me cold and from what I later researched I can now understand why. He was not a nice man and could be deemed a big head. To me they were just out to make money any way that they could and they pushed and pushed the paranormal. Part of me felt sorry for Lorraine but times were different back then and women stayed in relationships that were toxic. They brought a lot to the fore front in the paranormal but with them much damage as well.
I don’t believe half of the stories about Amityville after the actual story (but the son did it on his own no demons told him to murder his family), before Ed and Lorraine showed up or the Lutzs.. Annabelle was a Rag doll, that’s it.. Conjuring is just weird, and the daughter of Persons is still making appearances with any paranormal researchers on TV claiming everything to be true, the same as Ed and Lorraine did..
the sad part of all the Conjuring flicks is this….Tony Spera sold them out. I knew Lorraine spent time with Lorraine and interviewed Lorraine years ago before we actually became friends. Any engagement or speaking event…Tony Made sure to be there and take control. The museum, TOny has made sure to exploit it and now he even claim Judy…Lorraine daughter is psychic…That was NEVER EVER said prior to Lorraine passing away. SO of the Annabelle and COnjuring movies…2 were real, the rest were money making sequels. Of course James Wan had to throw the Hollywood SCHOCK Factor into them as well. WE all know Annabelle was a raggedy ann doll, not the abomination shown in the film. Lorraine was a genuine person, sadly I never got the chance to meet Ed. I believe Lorraine was a real psychic and did her best to help people.
The first story The Amityville Horror my wife was just reading the book she never seen the movie it scared her so much she said she threw it off a cliff into the ocean ! So me being me I bought her a new copy and then dunked it in some water and put it back in her night stand I never seen her scream so loud then she fainted !
Nothing but charlatans. Terrible people that preyed on others who were probably scared and confused. Those two were the “demons”in my opinion. We could also look at the 17 year old Ed moved into their house and had a so called affair with. What he did was abuse a child. Those two were just horrendous. 😡
I believe it was one of the Twin Paranormal articles where you mentioned investigators going to a location with no demonic activity reported and always find something evil or demonic. If this is truly the case, now hear me out, wouldn’t this seem to suggest that the demonic entity is not attach to the location but one of them in the group? Just a thought exercise.
I’ve never believed anything from the Warrens. The movies, although supposedly based on their stories (because at the end of the day, they’re just stories) were heavily sensationalised and involved the Warrens waaaay more than they were in real life. I feel like, if they really cared about their work and what they did, then she would have demanded that the movies were more accurate. I’m a huge horror fan, so I understand exaggerating a “true story” slightly to make it scarier, but almost none of their involvement in the movies was accurate. I wish the makers of the movies just said that they are LOOSELY based on their stories rather than making it seem like this is what happened on these cases. And I just think that if any of what they said was true, then she would have wanted it to be accurate instead of worrying so much about Ed’s gross sexual attractions to minors being portrayed on screen. I think they were full of shit and they paved the way for these other ghost hunters to be full of shit as well. Fun fact: They actually started as ghost hunters and, when the movie “The Exorcist” came out, they suddenly became demon hunters.
Based on my experience some of them can be real. Ive experienced a paranormal experience. I dont wanna upload it online cause i know its gonna be viral at some point. Deleted some pics that very demonic. Saw situations face to face that was creepy asf. So i might say maybe some of them are fake but not all of them are fake.
Not a fan so I don’t know anything about warrens, I don’t know if everything about them fake or not, but regarding paranormal stuff…it’s just funny to me when people trying to debunk smth just because they’ve never seen or experienced anything like this. If you don’t believe because you haven’t seen it, doesn’t mean it does not exist lol I mean, if that side exists, why trying to explain it without knowing how things work on that side…I’m not a big believer, but I prefer to not blindly try to come up with “logical” excuses for everything
I didn’t even like tha movie!! it was okay until Ed and Lauren visited the house.. and suddenly the movie became a cheesy adventure and not even scary😂 I didn’t know about this couple, so at first I thought they were scammer or cult leaders.. idk why but the Ed charactor gave me a serious wife beater vibe😂😂
Indeed Beardo, for sure famous, they both no longer are with us, do not know enough or in depth about them to say if they were the real thing. They claimed to be, Lorraine I believe was medium and Ed did believed in Demons and such, I don’t know I never researched Them, curious what you think.kind regards
Watching any of the movies and believing that anything more than Ed and Lorraine actually existing is true, is the equivalent of perusal The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and believing that all of the horror depicted is true. In TTCM the ONLY portion based on truth (truth being Ed Geins crimes) is that Leatherface wears human skin which is what Ed Gein did. If you watch The Conjuring, Annabelle, or the Nun as if it’s a documentary based wholey on fact then that’s a watcher issue not an Ed and Lorraine issue. The portion of those movies based on truth is they were called to help, and they were self proclaimed demonologists.
If everything in the warren museum is real and truly dangerous then why is eds son in law allowing all these people to stay overnight inside of it and make YouTube articles? In one article the people opened Annabelles case which states DO NOT OPEN. If the stuff was dangerous then why risk someone getting hurt for a article? And not everything in that room is haunted or cursed, there is a hallway full of Annabelle dolls and a replica of the one feom the movie to. Its almost like a horror fan room. They say its dangerous but yet have all these people going in there trying to communicate with spirits. If it could truly hurt someone or in eds case..have killed people. Then why would u want anyone near them? Ed and Lorraine both said that they have collected the item’s from people using them for dark magic and communication with the other side and thats why they are kept there. its ironic how they took them from people who were using them to communicate with spirits, they die, the grandson brings people in so they can once again use the items to try to communicate with spirits. Once again the items are being used by people trying to make connections with the other side. The way ed and Lorraine talk about the items and how the son in law says how dangerous they are but yet allow people going in the room trying to stir up whatever “evil” is in the room and talk to the things attached to the objects.
I really like the Conjuring movies more than the Annibelle movies. The Nun.. meh. Anywho, I like the movies just because their movies. Majority of the time there are always other ” stories and facts ” that are not always depicted. They are ” Hollywood dolled up ” because they have to be so people will be all oooh and ahhh about them. I don’t know alot about the Warrens so I can’t comment on that part of the article.
No they weren’t, i watched the WF deep dive on these two 🙄🙄🙄 they were clever though, i must say even fakes are going to get something eventually. But these two i think really believed they were special. It’s like, if you tell yourself something enough it becomes real, then do you create activity, that point was bought up with the first telivised seance. Did their collective concious create movement, the same theory dan brown puts in the lost symbol 🤔. See this is why i subscribe to Youtubers, my feelings on these things, should be kept in my head if i choose a website. People need too know because they still influence people strongly to this day, the young girl that may have been possesed they were there for a few hours. 🤦♀️🤷♀️ this needed to be said.
15 min vid wasn’t needed you just need to say yes and that’s it just look at their account of the enfield haunting that the conjuring 2 was based on then look at the accounts of people that were there. They turn up one day uninvited spent less than a day there and according to Guy Lyon Playfair one of the main investigators they spent a lot of the time talking about how much money could be made off that case.
I think the haunting in Connecticut was my favorite of all those movies. Even if the story is fake i like the story as a story. Shame that all the stuff is comeing out a hoax stuff now… wish they could have just been honest ghost investigators, but then there’s is no entertainment value. Real research isn’t entertainment aparently even though people want the truth…
I believe they were “Story Tellers” who could see $$$$. There was never NO proof of Annabelle being possessed or anything of the sort. NEVER!! Do you actually believe 100s of the “Worst Demonic Objects” could be in a space where they live, and never experience hate, depression, Health problems, bodily harm, mental breakdowns, bad luck, etc. ?? Absolutely not!! The most reported is a few being sick to their stomach. Now their (son in law??) owns the “Museum of Demonic Items”. He is currently allowing people to visit. I can only imagine the cost of this!!! In these articles, NOTHING happens!! Go Figure. What do you think about this Beardo?? Also the claims of Ed having a relationship with a 15 year old when he was in his 30’s for decades and, Lorraine knowing this I believe is true!!! I think Lorraine did what Ed told her to do. At the End it was all about the money and fame.
Yes they are frauds 100% and my reasoning for this is that ghosts, demons and the supernatural are simply not real. No one has ever managed to produce even a single iota of credible evidence that the supernatural is anything other than fictional and anyone like these two charlatans who claims to have fought and defeated sucn things are nothing more than frauds who take advantage of other people’s beliefs.
Cool beardo has studdied all this amityvillle case class .hes propa clued up on it.i watched a documentary on the first family when it first came about.and i didnt know it was a funeral .home .and he had or was a skitso .i think .strange shit was going on.maybe Demons..and incest .i dont know just saying .beardo probably knows more than me.
Just two horrible grifters, i knew they were fake when a tiny amount of research showed way too many supposed demonic hauntings to be believable, the Warrens were financially and spiritually motivated i believe they were recruiting for the catholic church and the less said about Ed Warrens “interests” the better.
I know you probably got a lot of crap from this article but I have to say I’ve watched the 🎉movie and the documentary’s on it for years I agree with you it’s bullshit now there’s one I’m been looking into were the cops said that they seen things moving are we to believe them no it probably was all set up there’s no doubt about watch the movie’s most of the that never happened it’s true no saying they made it up but maybe a movie’s producer did there you go let’s make a haunted but the one that killed them said it wasn’t I seen that documentary but people think it is roflmao
The real Amitiville owners are giving the game away, they dont believe in ghosts they just live there and dont want to be hassled by visitors? if it was true wouldnt demonicc things be happening? wouldnt you be scared for your family? wouldnt you want ghost hunters in there to flush the demons out? they dont want nobody even the house is blurred out on google maps they dont even want us to see the house i find that odd.
So that being said and your article being posted isn’t everything that’s paranormal that brought up by Hollywood made to make the people that are truly involved a pretty penny and fabricate the truth so everybody involved gets money who’s to say your personal experience isn’t your personal experience so every single item that they have inside their museum and their foundation which helps paranormal investigators such as yourself maybe not yourself cuz you’re in across the pond but so all that’s just a cover the big ass lie that they’re supposedly have projected on the paranormal community
I’m sorry, there is only ONE defense against evil, demons and such – JESUS CHRIST!! And I love how they always say (Jasko esp makes this claim in about 99% of his articles) that exorcisms failed. He is usually talking out of his ass. And he has no idea what he’s saying, half of his sentences make no coherent sense whatsoever (“the matter of the fact is this…”🤦🏼♀️). One, because the Catholic Church is demonic itself. And two, because the actual person being possessed must be the one to surrender to Christ and renounce and rebuke not only the entity but the sin that opened the door for this entity. TFIL/Overnight kill me with this nonsense – dude, where’s the holy water? We need to be cleansed (as they continuously and repeatedly perform the same sin of entertaining demons and communicating with familiar spirits) 🙄🤦🏼♀️ No amount of holy water, Sage, cross around your neck, rosaries or any other inanimate object will protect you. You MUST have the Holy Spirit indwelling you or you’re an open vessel vulnerable to it all. And if you willingly engage with these evil spirits, you are deliberately disobeying the will of God because it is strictly forbidden (Deuteronomy 18:10). So no, saying a quick, little prayer won’t protect you either. Sorry, rant over. I’m just getting really annoyed and frustrated with ALL of these fake, ghost hunting, paranormal “investigators” here on YT. AND I’m thankful people like you are taking the time to call them out on it.
