Was There A Plot To Assassinate Kobe Bryant?

NBA legend Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others were killed in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, in Calabasas, California. The tragic event led to several conspiracy theories, including Dr. Umar Johnson, a psychologist and Pan-African activist, who claimed that Bryant was involved in the crash. Bryant’s death was followed by a series of hoaxes and conspiracies that follow big news about celebrities.

A post-mortem examination of the helicopter crash that killed Bryant has ruled blunt force trauma as the cause of death for all nine victims. The claim is false, as the video was digitally altered from a CNN broadcast that originally reported on Bryant’s death in January 2020. A man who sparked the investigation over unauthorized photos taken at the site of the helicopter crash is speaking.

A conspiracy theory is a proposed plot carried out in secret, usually by a powerful group with a sinister goal. A Twitter user predicted Bryant’s death in 2012, and a journalist from Argentina’s state-run public television used a Jewish conspiracy theory to explain his death.

The pilot who crashed the helicopter carrying Bryant, killing all nine aboard, made a series of poor decisions that led to the tragic incident. The pilot of a helicopter that crashed into a foggy Calabasas hillside one year ago, killing NBA legend Kobe Bryant and eight others, has been criticized for his cocky attitude towards helicopter pilots.

  • They literally tried to make Vanessa seem as if she needed an psychiatric evaluation over this and that she was crazy to think they had pictures. Only to find out they did and cameras caught it plus a wonderful whistleblower. THANK YOU SIR!!! Sad thing is one of the 28 people will leak the photos out of anger and lack of accountability. I hope she owns that police department when this is over

  • I can’t even fathom that there really are people out there being so insensitive that They would disrespect someones loved one that has passed away and have not one feeling of shame as they open Theo mouth to laugh and then proceed to share Graphic images and photos with a complete stranger human beings are letting technology and “clout” turn them into heartless scumbags who has no empathy

  • Something is truly wrong with the human race. Since social media people can’t wait to be the first to show graphic photos. There is truly no respect for the victims families. The that these are law enforcement officers doing this is very disturbing. They should be held accountable for their actions. When individuals are in the position of law enforcement or the medical field they are held to a higher standard. My heart goes out to the families.

  • That a member of law enforcement (or ANY decent human) could do this makes you wonder what ELSE he could do. Or NOT do something he was supposed to do. Good people do NOT do this. You don’t really CARE about people if you can do this. I’m a supporter of law enforcement and I believe the only thing wrong with law enforcement is that they have to recruit from the human race! But always wondered when you read about others joining in wrong or unlawful activities whether or not ANYONE is capable of doing horrible things given the right situation or opportunity. Like gang rapes or murders where there’s more than one killer involved. I have to go find some happy stories to read or watch. God bless all the good people!

  • He’s a good, empathetic person. Need more people like him in this world! ❤️👏 I understand a dark humor being a requirement for officers and others who deal with traumatic situations and death on a daily basis. Without it or another healthy way to cope a person would turn to drugs and possibles additional negative coping mechanisms. However, the deputy’s behavior is much more than a coping mechanism! What he did was more similar to psychopathic behavior.

  • These are the people who are supposed to be protecting us, laughing and sharing pictures of our dead bodies. The amount of evil that continues to grow in the world day by day is astounding. There is no empathy, love, or compassion for one another anymore, and God forbid someone thinks differently than you do. Then people wish evil upon that person.

  • You did the right thing Ralph. Wish there was more people like this in the world. Others would just see the pictures and go on about their day. But just imagine the pain these families have gone thru. I’m glad Vanessa is fighting for this. This was her husband and most importantly her baby girl. If anyone would do this to my family I would go after them myself!

  • This is why I don’t buy the “just a few bad apples” logic. I don’t think all cops are corrupt but time and time again we see at the least that they don’t hold other cops accountable for bad behavior. It took a civilian to hear about it to put an end to it. So if they’re willing to make light of a major tragedy of course they’ll do anything else to regular people

  • If these photos were leaked, they would have millions of views from “normal people”, same people who would then come to the comments section of YouTube to say how outrageous it’s that people don’t respect. These cops are wrong but billions of people would be being hypocritical if they said they wouldn’t see them if that were on the internet

  • I’ve seen the simple pen diagram of what happened to Kobe’s body, no color, just a simple body outline showing what they found. I won’t be able to forget that and it was a drawing. I couldn’t imagine seeing actual photos, especially if someone was like “hey look at this” and you didn’t get a chance to look away. If they got leaked, you know they’d eventually get shared to Vanessa by some 4$$h0I3 so I’m glad this is going to court to prevent that and their kids from ever seeing them, even by accident.

  • While I can understand human curiosity from some of the rescue workers! And could make a bad judgment in the situation/in high tension situation. But when you had gone home and processed what had happened that day, when you then watched the article showing Burned corpses of children and the conditions the victims were in and you had taken pictures of that with your personal phone. Any decent, normal, and rational thinking individual would realize and feel remorseful for taking those pictures! There are zero excuse or justification for that person to even think about showing or sharing those pictures with anybody! And the fact that the officer showed a random Bartender! Makes me very angry, and Think that if a officer shows so bad judgment and shows no remorse about it either! He should be fired ASAP! He has no morals or shown any form of being a honest and respectful person!

  • I’m not justifying this or anything but I just want to say that I’m pretty sure majority of the people here saying “this is wrong” “this is sick and disgusting” if they were at the scene I guarantee they’d be pulling out their phones to record or take pictures of everything and of what’s going on and be posting it on their social media…. Even if it was Kobe or not they’d be pulling their phones out.

  • it’s one thing to recall that day and talk about it, maybe, but to share graphic details and personal photos to random people is just so wrong, just on a human level. I’m glad the patron reported this and it was handled. RIP to the families that died on that day, and peace to the families who lost loved ones that day… still so sad..:(

  • It was the right thing to do. There were 3 daughters on that plane, no survivors and an officer of the law is showing pictures of the gruesome scene as if he was at a party, in a bar?????? SMH. that is truly disturbing, why does this P.O. not Know better??????? To think of the families going on line and all of a sudden these pictures pop up. I know I would handle it well at all.

  • It’s quite possible the cop was actually traumatized to a degree, then he’s drunk, he kinda wants to talk about it, he shows it because that’s what he’s dealing with seeing and he drunkenly nervous laughs it off because he has no better way to deal with it himself. I know a cop that was traumatized by all the suicides he was dealing with on the job.

  • The fact they think it’s ok to show that during cocktail hour and while at a bar to strangers is disturbing. It’s disrespectful to the deceased and to their loved ones. None of them would like it if it was their loved ones photos being showed around like that. I think it’s absolutely obvious she is trying to protect her family no mother would want her children to see such graphic photos of their father and sister after and accident like that. It’s traumatizing and mentally and emotionally harmful. I’m a mother and thinking about the accident when the news broke out had my mind flooding with the last thoughts he and his daughter had while they braced themselves for the worst. I still cry thinking of how young they both were and how it ended. It’s sad people lack sympathy and moral decency now a days. They all deserve to be held accountable for their actions if they can’t even do the right thing and apologize to her directly and delete those images from their phones and personal records.

  • It’s odd that Vanessa Bryant is shocked that photos were shown then she gets to sit in a courtroom and watch those very photos. And then claim she’s traumatized by them. But here’s a thought – crime scenes have to be photographed for evidence. If she wins her zillions of dollars, it’s likely that that practice will lessen (what officer will risk it?). Therefore criminals will not be as prosecuted for lack of evidence and they’ll go free. And all because Mr. Bryant elected to take a helicopter to save an hour of driving on the freeway. How’d that work out, Kobe?

  • Dude get a clue, life is not pretty, with peaches and butterflies. No peoples heads get torn off arms taken and it’s horrible, but you can’t sweep it under rug, they see it everyday, it’s their way of dealing with it. She thinks she’s the only one who has pictures taken of their deceased loved ones, come on get over yourself

  • Pray for this man’s safety as well as his family, im sure theirs cops want a piece of him smh . I hope all the families affected look out and share some of the money to him cause he deserves it and may need it, his face should have never been on tv and his name should’ve been private . But god bless him, cause it was absolutely necessary for him to tell the truth .

  • THIS COULD BE ANYONE’S LOVED ONE’S. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE! CELEBRITY OR NOT! MAY GOD BLESS THE WHISTLE BLOWER FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING! JUST LIKE WHEN WHITNEY HOUSTON DIED IT WAS SAID A FIRST RESPONDER LIFTED THE SHEET TO LOOK AT HER NAKED BODY! SAYING OH SHE STILL LOOK GOOD! THESE TYPE OF BEHAVIORS SHOULD BE DEALT WITH! PERIOD! THESE CLOWNS MAKE IT HORRIBLE FOR THE GOOD MEN & WOMEN FIRST RESPONDERS!

  • I don’t get this lawsuit. Ann heche caused a major crash. They filmed the whole rescue including her being taken in the the ambulance. If anything this lawsuit is a waste of money. Yes they will probably get reprimanded but these first responders deal with so much stuff it isn’t even funny. Yet she is an ultra rich family member I hope this is laughed out of court

  • What a terrible invasion of privacy. This makes me feel so sad for the families who lost loved ones in this accident. Unless you have seen photos like this you wouldn’t really understand how terrible these men were to have done that they did. I am so happy the gentleman did what he did. I am just sorry the deputies and firemen didn’t get more than a write up in their personnel files. God Bless these families and the man who did the right thing.

  • Vanessa still thinks about this helicopter crash on Kobe’s 25th day in a row doing this helicopter ride when the only even remotely hazardous aspect of the weather until after the helicopter took off was the light gray sky that claimed the lives of her husband and daughter and seven other people nearly every minute of every day! She doesn’t have to be reminded of it any further! I hope all these photos get destroyed!
