Way The Kuman Thong Amulet Is Worn?

Before wearing a Kuman Thong doll, it is important to wash your hands and focus your faith on the amulets. The amulets feature the Kumarn Tong Song Krueang, a princely child spirit of the Deva Realms holding a talisman. The ritual involves raising the worshiper like his own children and giving them the spirit of the Kuman Thong.

The typical depiction of a Kuman Thong is that of a boy in historic Thai clothing with a traditional talisman. The spirit of the Kuman Thong materializes and protects the owner from disasters, brings prosperity, and keeps an eye out for enemies. It is better not to place the Kuman Thong with other idols of worship, and it is not allowed to be worn over a Buddha image.

To use a Guman Thong, the owner can use their special power by using their mind. The correct method is to remove the dead baby surgically from the mother’s womb and undergo the proper ceremonial ritual. The Kuman Thong is an image of a statue with a holy spirit inside it, similar to the statue of Buddha, Deities, or Holy Monks for praying.

To feed the Kuman Thong or Kumaree, prepare food (rice + water) and talk to the child. Guman Thong are Thai miniature amulets traditionally made from the bodies of dead babies to bring good fortune and protection. Although illegal, actual baby body parts are sometimes used to make them.

  • Thai folk religion ‘Kuman Thong’ is related to black magic and occult practices (Necromancy) required using stillborn corpse, ritual materials from the dead and cemetery. While Buddhism ‘Golden Boy’ amulet is made from several different soil materials, going through practicing monk master performed blessing ritual, used as personal protection against evil spirit and spell. Both are different amulets for different purposes. 🤔
