Senator John McCain argues that America has much to learn from the events of 9/11, but conspiracy mongering poisons the discourse and dishonors the victims of a national tragedy. Throughout nearly 700 episodes, creator Matt Elmegreen has portrayed conspiracy theories and divisive rhetoric in his show, which has been a source of controversy since its inception. During the general election campaign, rumors spread to the fringes of the right, with evidence such as a woman at a John McCain rally telling the truth about his bargaining with his Vietnamese captors.
Trump, the 45th U.S. President from 2017 to 2021, has made controversial public statements, criticizing late U.S. Senator John McCain of Arizona. In a time of hatefulness and deceit, he was a beacon of honor and decency. McCain graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1958 and served his country as a naval officer.
As a candidate in the 2016 election, Trump propagated the ‘birther’ conspiracy theory, denying that the incumbent president, Barack Obama, was born in the U.S.
In his new book, McCain dives deep into conspiracy theories regarding the salacious Trump-Russia dossier. The Republican senator ends his career more popular with Democrats than with his own party. Andy Borowitz jokes about the causes of the Republican Party’s death, with possible suspects including Donald Trump and Sarah Palin.
A conspiracy theory website, QMap, was getting 10 million visitors a month at its peak.

You raise some funny yet interesting points here. i cannot discredit anything you say, but allow me to ask a question. All of the points you make show that it was other Republicans that caused McCain`s failure to become president. That being the case, why be so angry at president Obama? After all, it was his own “PEEPS” (if you will allow me to use a pro wrestling term) that caused his down fall.
As I watch the news lately, I repeatedly ask my self, ’Why do these people have so much free time and disposable income to waste on all these lunatic activities?’ e.g. Q-Anon stuff like this, Kyle Rittenhouse, The three ‘citizens’ arrest’ activists who murdered Ahmaud Arberry, etc., etc., etc.’ Personally, between my job and my family, I don’t have time or money for craziness.
It really is surreal. We live in a society where one girl makes a joke article where she licks a magnet and sticks it to her skin, and then hundreds of thousands of people believe that vaccines somehow cause a person to become magnetized. It doesn’t matter how many times since then that she’s pleaded with people and tried to explain it was a joke. It doesn’t matter. We live in a world where people are so desperate for answers (which affirm the beliefs they already hold), so desperate to separate themselves from a reality they don’t like, so desperate to feel like they belong (which is probably the oldest criterion for being susceptible to a cult), that literally anyone can just throw out as much crazy as they want and see what sticks to the wall, regardless of the consequences or casualties. And, true to the deepest darkest impulses of humanity, bad people are out there capitalizing on the chaos and susceptibility of huge portions of the population in order to further their own personal power and wealth. This last part, as disgusting as it is, is hardly surprising.
Honestly, I’m not entirely blaming Obama but honestly in 2008 I’m not saying that the ‘08 elections had something to do with it but honestly the Internet was really advancing during the time that Obama took office. It’s not Obama‘s fault but I will say that the Internet really advanced during the Obama administration it really became instant it really became pre-social media. Social media was really starting to get started during 2008 when Obama took office he’s not entirely the blame but there was absolutely something somehow during his administration that really was a mistake when it comes to the Internet age. I’m not saying that the 2008 elections is the result of misinformation, and media, and social media but Opinions really changed then.
Sounds CRAY-CRAY but its true, there were a lot of folks new to the Internet 20 years ago that really thought there was something to….Crop Circles. Its starts with something benign like this and grows concentrically outward from the near outlandish to the far outlandish. Someone wearing a jacket and tie using the right tone and exuding the right VIBE speaking with confidence conviction and apparent sincerity can always convince some part of his audience that he’s speaking objective truth no matter how insane the subject matter.
A man dies, goes to heaven, sant Peter asks him if he needs something. He asks to speaks with Jesus. Jesus asks him what he needs, the man asks “who won the 2020 elections?”, Jesus says “Biden”. Then sant Peter asks the man if he need something else, the man says “I need to speak with God, this goes higher than I could imagine”
Before comment and speak, one should study the matter deeply from both side of the bells and start using critical thinking to be free to choose, we have a mind of our own for use it right? If you see evil things and you choose that way you can and you accept there are always consequences….same for the good things, but the quality is different. 😉
If you want a good chuckle about all this nonsense, peep our hilarious pop-punk tune/lyric article (Pizza-Gate Princess) about a boy who’s attempting to console his conspiracy theory obsessed girlfriend. Anyone not laughing and humming the chorus all day after hearing it – is dumb enough to believe everything they’re fed from an unverified source on the dark web.
“We in this country, in this generation, are – by destiny rather than choice –the watchmen on the walls of world freedom. We ask, therefore, that we may be worthy of our power and responsibility, that we may exercise our strength with wisdom and restraint, and that we may achieve in our time and for all time the ancient vision of peace on Earth, goodwill toward men..” JFK
The House and Senate’s dueling proposals to expand the state and local tax deduction would both deliver large tax cuts to the wealthy, while failing to do much for middle-income households, according to new analysis from the Urban-Brooking Tax Policy Center. The left-leaning think tank compared the two plans to expand the politically important, but controversial, tax break aimed at helping people in high-tax states like New York, New Jersey and California…About 94% of the SALT benefits in the House’s $80,000 cap proposal would go to the top 20% of earners — or those earning about $175,000 or more.
