OOHRAH. Great vid brother. 26 years total in the USMC, enlisted and as an officer, and I’ve used these (and at times the Field Notes equivalent) plenty. I rarely, if ever, used any of the crap in the rear of the “military” version of these. If there might have been something I did need to consult, the back pages of a Rite In The Rain was not what I was reaching for. Old enough to remember the days when not everything on the planet was listed as “Mil-Spec” or “Tactical,” all mostly in an effort to appeal to gear-dos or wannabes. No doubt there will be those who feel they need the “military” version of this though. Perfect for their daily run through the Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru or standing in line at Costco.
