Monica Spells, the MPA assistant county administrator of Beaufort County, South Carolina, has resigned from her position and has accepted a job in another state. She has been appointed as an Assistant Loudoun County Administrator by Loudoun County Administrator Tim Hemstreet, effective September 3, 2020. Spells was selected for the position after a nationwide search and comes to Loudoun from Beaufort County, where she currently serves as a Deputy County Administrator.

Beaufort County will soon be searching for a new assistant administrator after Monica Spells resigned from the position.
