It’s actually a 0.02% chance to see someone resurrect and immediately die on the next card, but that’s still insanely low odds. You’d have to pull 3467 cards in a row to have a 50% chance of seeing this happen, and that assumes you had an infinite deck of tarot cards. In reality, you would need one person to draw at least 3852 cards in a row to have a 50% chance of seeing this happen, because it won’t count if the last card you pull in Game #100 is High Priestess and the first card you pull in Game #101 is Hanged Man. 3852 cards is a generous calculation because it assumes the person will survive to pull all 10 cards every game; every time one of the first 8 cards kills them before they draw the 9th, the total number of cards required increases even further (because you’re increasing the frequency of draws that cannot complete the target event, e.g. drawing the first card drawn from a tarot deck). To get the 386 tarot decks required to attempt this, you’d need to play about 2316 games of Phasmophobia. Let’s say you wanted to farm this on some map. The chance of drawing High Priestess (reviving a dead teammate) is 2%, the chance of drawing Hanged Man (instantly killing the one who draws the card) is 1%. This happened to me (kinda) So we had tarot cards, and I pull the first card to conveniently get the death card, one of my mates dies, so I pull more cards to see if there is a miracle. I get the High Priestess and bam! There they are! Then, as soon as we are about to leave the house, the ghost hunted and then.. she was dead, again.
There’s also a “HEY!” voice to be heard shortly afterwards. I also got it, but I was throwing in the basketball from below because it’s way easier to pick it up while it’s still flying, as it only has to touch the trigger box for the counter. EDIT: I’m not sure if that actually triggered it, or if I happened to run into the trigger box for the door ghost.
