I wanted a pair of Reebok Pumps so bad as a child. My parents were too cheap to spring for them and instead cornered me next to the discount bin in Woolco and coerced me into accepting these. When I wore them to school that fall and the other cool kids had Pumps, I claimed that the Magic Johnson shoes were better and that I was a Magic fan anyway. I let them all know that I could now jump pretty dang high. Watch out!
