What is the rarest Hogwarts wand?
The Elder wand, considered the rarest and most unlucky wand wood, is considered the most difficult to master. Garrick Ollivander, a renowned wandmaker, believes that wand wood possesses human-like powers of perception and preferences. Each wand is unique and depends on the tree and magical creature from which it derives its materials. Ollivander suggests that each wand learns from its ideal owner and begins to teach its human partner. His notes on wand woods are general and should not be considered to describe any individual wand. The Elder wand is considered the most difficult to master.

This well-researched Reddit post provides a better understanding of the exchange rates in the magical world.

While I’m sure this product has problems, part of the reason also appears to be the fact that you don’t know how to use it. Your wondering why it’s casting spells while your just sitting there, but in reality, you have all the contact points while simultaneously waving it around, of course it’s going to interpret that as a spell.
God it’s like this dude has never even used the thing before making a review/update lol I bought this and immediately returned it because of how garbage it is. I have all hue light bulbs in my house, and it wouldn’t connect or work at all. And even if it DID work, you can only control 3 hue bulbs at a time. A ceiling fan has 4 bulbs, so you can’t even control 1 room with it. Besides casting spells on the app, the wand is absolutely useless. If you’re considering buying it, DONT. It’s overpriced, cheaply made, terrible speaker, and feels like it’ll break if you touch it too much. The speaker quality shown in the vid is a good summary of the quality of this product.
The wand itself is alright. I do wish the quality was better. The wand charges just fine in the box and I haven’t had any issues. It works well with the app. It’s better on an IPad than just a phone. The grip can be tricky if you have small hands like my gf. For me I don’t have an issues getting the censors to work. I really wish the wand hand more interactive features with smart lights for the price tag.
Seems like your the type of guy who doesnt read the instructions, and when the item breaks or doesnt work like you think it should, you blame it on the item and not your incompetence…While your sitting there complaining about how its not working correctly, its working correctly and your just not sure what your even doing…
This wand was trash, it had a very loose plastic feel, when placing the wand back into the box and closing the box it doesn’t close completely. I updated my iPhone and reset my local network and could not get the wand to function properly, when trying to cast spells it only showed swigs and swirls all over the app. This was something I returned and got a refund. If nothing worked I would like for the wand to atleast have more weight and be at least real wood. But this is definitely a no go, this wand should be in the fisher price area of Walmart for 20 bucks. Just my opinion. This was just not a good product and I’m being nice.
It definitely glows in the box while charging you see the lights light up like a battery charging up the wand. If you have a blister you’re holding way to tight 🤣, if it’s not activating you are holding it in the wrong spot also . The charged “icon in the app” is the circle that you are looking at the top of the app.
i really wish i would’ve seen this article before i bought mine. The wand is bad quality. it’s plastic and you can see the little plastic line. the app itself is alright but the bluetooth on the wand is weird, it fired up the sensors and it messes up the spell casting and makes it hard to do anything with the wand in general
Well I’ve had one for Christmas, only been using it for a few hours and it’s obvious to me that you’ve not learnt to use it properly. I don’t know whether you’ve watched the tutorials but you’re not even holding it in the right place lol. I have the honourable wand too and you’re not supposed to grip the knobbly bits at all, the sensors are at the top of the handle just under them. You wrap your fire finger around the handle then place your thumb down when you want to cast, and release it after. You only have to touch it lightly and there’s certainly no need for blisters! 😂🤷🏻♂️
Sorry, but It is a crap wand. The one from Universal is better made and is more than 1/2 the price. It is flimsy and poorly made, and yes its could be made better. Construction wise it is just resin, led, battery and charger, plus a plus micro sensor chip. We haven’t even begun with the app yet….. This is just a very expensive paper weight. Seems WBros troubled extends far beyond their movies, disappointing movies, and we are most likely not even getting Hogwart’s Legacy now too.
I watched this review and have to say 99% of your problems were self inflicted. 1. Your device was almost dead, it doesn’t work properly when it needs to be charged. Even in the app it told you at the top to charge it. 2. The box went off because your wand was dead when you docked it and it recharged and went back to start up. 3 You’re waving the wand around at the same time as you start to grip it. You need to grip, then let it light up, then go. About 2 seconds in-between. Seems like you’re just being a bit impatient with it. I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and tested it to make sure all was good and it works beautifully.
My daughter got one for Christmas, it played its music, she connected it got it all set up and then never activated again, she charged both fully and still nothing at all. Got in touch with customer service, which is on line only, and they said they trouble shot it and would be in touch, and nothing, at all. I’ve messaged them over and over and over, nothing. If anyone buys this, know that if you get a dud, as we did, you are not getting an exchange or refund of any kind.
I got the defiant. It is lots of fun, but I also have my issues. You’re right I think they did put a new update and it is way too sensitive. Now I have to let go of my whole hand from the wand. And also the more I use it I’ve rubbed off probably 50% of the paint that was quickly smeared on there. It just shows how bad the manufacturing was and how much they need to either improve or lower the price. It’s so sad to know that this could’ve been such an amazing product.
I just got this as a present from my girlfriend/newly fiancée (I proposed the day after Christmas leave a thumbs up if you wish as congrats) and for me aside from cosmetics I love this thing the weight might throw some people off but as someone who modifies 90% of what he buys I plan on repainting this or a second second one as the box advertised and adding some kind of light weight to it haven’t came up with anything yet but I’ll figure something out as for interactive activity 8/10 I want to not have to re open and reconnect and hopefully updates over time might help that but aside from that I’ve low battery makes the wand useless understandable but it’s all very fun I really wished I had this as a kid when me and my friends pretended we were in Hogwarts and all we had were either replicas or sticks from trees so I hope this generation is able to have fun with these as an adult who got this from a fiancée I intend to have a lot of fun with this and be patient with progress I’m sure other things will be fixed over time spell wise colora is my favorite lol
I got the honorable one and returned it immediately. I was incredibly disappointed with how lightweight, thin and poorly painted it was. You could see were the plastic seams lined up and it looked as if they were coming apart from being misaligned and the paint job was absolutely horrid. The speaker on the box sounds blown out too. They used the cheapest materials possible to do it and charged as much as they could, I have collected a ton from the parks and noble collection and even a few knock off ones off wish that are far superior due to the correct weight when holding it, sturdiness and the paint jobs. Total money grab imo unless they link up to the upcoming game in some way to allow use through gameplay it’s basically the remote control wand just on your phone now.
