Here’s the lore behind this boss: Long ago there was a man who was a favored knight to the King. He wanted to have a daughter and only ended up having sons. Once he finally had a daughter, he disowned all of them to be outcasts, and they were kicked out of the kingdom. They had to live off of the wild and supplies were limited as it was winter. They all eventually grew hungry and the Abyss called for them and they went willingly into it. They couldn’t see a thing and slowly started to become corrupt, so they held onto eachother’s shoulder for support. The brothers were almost corrupted by the Abyss, as they were walking in it for so long. Then, all of a sudden, a blue light jumped down from a hidden ledge and lit a path for them to escape. It was their sister. Their father was abusive to his daughter and she killed him and escaped. She wanted to find her brothers and live with them. As they were almost out of the Abyss, a Demon of some sort appeared. Their sister fought the demon and she traded blows with it as they both died. It was very traumatic to them and as the Abyss corrupted them fully now, they became mentally insane. She Cast Tears of Denial before she fought the demon, so with what little power she had, she turned into a blue lamp for light sorce to help them escape. Time went on. Only three brothers perished and 1 fully escaped the Abyss, but not with the Lamp. The brothers lived on the Lmap’s power, no longer needing food or drink. The world changed drastically from kingdoms and castles to cities with apartments, buildings, and houses.
When you enter the room: heading to the final boss with ease while everything is empty so far with just the music and scenery. Opening the door to the next area seeing the guys doing a weird saeance turning around staring and suddenly getting chased by them and screaming: When you realize you have to kill the enemies and side bosses you’ve already faced first before even getting to the actual main fight in the next five hours or so
I see some people is having difficulty at fighting this boss, so i’ll explain how to defeat it The Lantern Arsonist is the 5th boss of the game and has a huge variety of attacks. Before fighting the actual boss, you have to fight the Lantern Cultists. There are 15 of them and can do some damage and have a bunch of health, so the Magic Missile spell is required to get rid of the them. If you don’t have the spell yet, you should bring some Ash Bombs for their wide range. After taking out the cultists, The Lantern Arsonist can now be damaged and will move around the arena. Watch out for his Fireball attack, as the Fire effect will last very long. In case you get hit, splash youself with a Water Solution. It’s recomned to bring Water spells since the boss is weak to the Water element(it’s a lantern, duh). Be sure to also have Aquarite gear, especially the shield: It has a 75% chance to auto-block(halve recieved DMG) a Fire attack, a 15% chance to heal by 1% of the Fire attack’s DMG and a 5% chance to completely nullify damage and heal by 3% of the original Fire DMG. When the Lantern Arsonist reaches 15% of health, he will enter into his 2nd phase, where he becomes brighter, bigger and gets a massive boost in DMG. He will start spamming his attacks. Make sure to use the Tidal Wave and Hydro Cannon spells, which have a chance to decrease enemy DMG(Hydro Cannon also has a chance to decrease enemy DEF). After that, you should defeat the Lantern Arsonist and get the loot. Hope this helped.

This article makes me think of days when I had tons of friends and occasionally did this kind of thing with ‘em. It probably should make me sad that I don’t have as many friends anymore, but it doesn’t exactly. I guess I wish I did, but I’m more just happy there are people out there that do, and that there’s a chance they’ll meet each other and make even more friends. The lantern was found in a desert by a wizard who got corrupted by what he found . The wizard was obsessed with finding the gates of hell . the lantern was turning him into a normal shirtless person and stealing his traits . Attacking and helping the lantern to corrupt more souls . The more souls corrupted, the more the lantern gets closer to it’s goal . This reminds me of the time as a young man, me and several friends were at the pub 1 night wondering where another friend was. His mum came in and said he was at home in bed (hungover). She gave us the keys to her house so we (approx 8 of us) left the pub, walked to their house and all took off our shoes before quietly opening the door and creeping up the stairs in near total darkness. Then we burst through his bedroom door and ‘attacked’ him. Eventually we put the light on and i can tell you you have never seen fear like that on the face of someone safe in their bed suddenly attacked by a gang 😂
