Why is Divine Orb so expensive?

The drop rate of divine and exalted orbs is nearly identical, but divine orbs cost more chaos in the current trade league due to the absence of divine shards and their frequent use. The divine orb is considered more valuable than exalted orbs due to its ability to craft and change items, which determines its drop rate and trade prices. Exalted orbs augment rare items with powerful random modifiers, resulting in a low drop rate.

Conversely, orbs of augmentation, which can only augment magic items with new random modifiers, have a higher drop rate. This leads to the divine orb, which does not augment but rerolls the values of existing modifiers. The debate surrounding the value of divine orbs in the current trade league is ongoing.

If no other rarities are rolled, the item will be normal. Statistics impacting item rarity change the chance at each step.

  • The problem with Div Cards is that they were pretty common the first day, then they nerfed them almost out of existance. I farmed for 2 hours to try and get The Sun(RoTP card) and I only got 2 of them. I tried to farm for The Dark Mage(6l staff card) for about an hour and a half and didn’t get 1. So there still messing with the drop rates, right now some of them are good and some of them are REALLY bad.

  • is it just me or something happened in the beta that since they added more server locations (cali, texas, etc) the latency went up .. i was running with 50~55 ms and now it is in the 160 ms range .. my lockstep mode is so painful to use 🙁 btw i am in cali and i have a little less latency in texas than in cali (155 ms vs 165ms) O.o

  • as for the new patch, we can still do act 4 for all three difficulties regardless of where we are at the moment right, and also what about the rewards for the old quests, if there is any change to them, do we have anything in compensation, do ewe have to do the quest again if its an old quest with new rewards? Im asking this since while i was looking at the information of the new jewels used in the passive tree, the website says that a quest in act 2 will give us a selection of them and i’m wondering if this quest is a new quest or an old one with a new reward offer.

  • If say for example I’m going for the Divination Card called “The Hoarder” in which you can obtain it in any difficulty of The Belly Of The Beast and The Harvest – would the drop rate change if we do it on Normal in comparison of Merciless? And also, would normal trash mobs drop the cards or does it have to be elites or bosses?
