Upside-Down Magic is a 2020 American fantasy film released as a Disney Channel Original Movie, based on the eponymous fantasy book series by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins. The film stars Izabela Rose and Siena Agudong, and premiered on Disney Channel on July 31, 2020. The story follows 13-year-old Nory (Izabela Rose) and her best friend Reina (Siena Agudong), who discover they both have magical powers. Nory can transform into animals, while Reina can control fire.
Nory and her best friend Reina enter the Sage Academy for Magical Studies, where Nory’s wonky magic puts her in a class for those with wonky or “upside-down” magic. Undaunted, Nory sets out to prove that she can do magic the right side up. The film follows eight kids in a world with magical abilities: Elinor “Nory” Boxwood Horace, Elliott Cohen, Bax Kapoor, Andres Padillo, Pepper Phan, and Marigold.

The series follows eight kids in a world where magical abilities are commonplace, and they must learn to use their special but unpolished skills to save everyone from evil forces.

The movie was fantastic, one of the best new dcoms. I loved the lessons on self-image, realization that nothing is perfect, using your weaknesses to build strengths, and fighting the mental restraints and labels people may have on you. This movie was very good and well thought through. Good job, Disney.
Who else’s LOVES the movie! Me! I don’t understand how I can’t be on Disney website because I’ve always wanted to be on Disney website and this movie came out in 2020 right and so I don’t understand how those kids get to sign up for Disney website and I can’t! I kinda of cried when I watched this cuz I watch upside down magic 2 times when I wanted to watch the movie again I didn’t know the title cuz I forgot it and then, I searched in google under magic but it was actually upside down magic lol I watched it in mah self phone but only on the episodes cuz theres no upside down in netflix and we couldn’t pay the full movie on YT.
