What Is The Witchcraft Meaning Of Hail?

Hail is a powerful symbol in witchcraft and spiritual wellness, often used to promote spiritual longevity and connect with the divine. The ritual of casting a circle is a common practice among witches, who use it to communicate ideas, invoke energies, and represent beliefs. The Four Quarters, Watchtowers, or Airts (pronounced eights) are the guardians of the Magick Circle, welcomed into sacred spaces to protect, bless, and witness workings.

Hail holds deep symbolism and meaning in various cultures, with its metaphorical interpretations ranging from destructive force to a symbol of chaos and drama. In witchcraft, the Eclipse symbolizes the spiritual meaning of the term, as witches and evil creatures can create hailstorms to damage others’ crops or property. Hail in the context of witches refers to a call or shouting for or to greet.

In Wicca, “water witches” and “fire witches” are not commonly recognized terms or categories of witches. “Water witch” is a term used by witches to greet Macbeth and other characters.

In witchcraft and Wicca, “water witches” and “fire witches” are not commonly recognized terms or categories of witches. Instead, “water witch” is a term used to describe a person who is surrounded by chaos or chaos.

In conclusion, the use of symbols like Hail, the Four Quarters, Watchtowers, and the Eclipse in witchcraft and spiritual wellness is a significant aspect of the practice. By understanding these symbols and their metaphorical interpretations, practitioners can better navigate the world of witchcraft and spiritual wellness.

  • The letter J was only introduced to the alphabet as we know it in the year 1524. It did NOT exist before that. That would leave us with ESUS, and that is what is claimed to mean Zeus. Not “Hail Zeus” but simply Zeus. The part about Hail Zeus comes into question because nobody wants to be hailing the name of Zeus when they are praying and asking the entity for forgiveness. Regardless of all of that, his name was Yeshua and we should just leave it at that. The King James Bible of the 1600s is where we see the name Jesus first being used.

  • Err so basically some people came to change his name and we are suppose to just accept it? Your name might be pronounced differently in different places but if someone shouted Miguel on the street you wouldn’t turn around. If we all know is name was Yehoshua, why call him Jesus. Jesus doesn’t even mean anything… “And ye shall know the truth and it shall set you free”

  • There are several strange and misleading teachings that make their rounds concerning the name of God and of Jesus Christ; one such false doctrine is the idea that the name of Jesus actually means “Hail, Zeus.” Promoters of this bizarre concept claim that anyone who uses the name Jesus is offering praise to a false god and is not saved. They go so far as to say a person must use only the Hebrew name for Jesus, since there is only one name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). First, we will explain the “Jesus-means-hail-Zeus” theory, the best we can. Then we will look at the truth of the matter from a biblical perspective. Those who teach that the name Jesus means “Hail, Zeus” usually start with the name of God, YAH (see Isaiah 26:4, NET). From that name of God, they take the Messiah’s name to be YAHSHUA, which they say means “YAH Is Salvation.” They contend that is the name used by the apostles and by the Messiah Himself; however, after the apostles were dead and gone, the Roman Church took over Christianity. In order to make their brand of religion more palatable to the pagans, the Roman leaders changed the name of the Messiah into a Greek/Latin hybrid, Iésous, which (supposedly) means “Hail, Zeus.” Since Zeus (or Jupiter) was the chief god in the Greco-Roman pantheon, the pagans had little trouble accepting this new demigod. By changing the Savior’s name, Christianity had been effectively stripped of its Hebrew roots, and the melding with paganism was a success. The Greeks’ savior could still be Zeus.

  • When I took this course it was the first time I ever took a course online of any kind, and I went in it with such confidence that I was going to love it because the description of the course was exactly what I was looking for to get to know Hekate. After the course my relationship with Hekate has strengthened so much! I also purchased the HEKATÆON and started working with it with such confidence thanks to this wonderful course. I still have to finish the book I had to take a brake since my mother was diagnosed with dementia and at the moment I am her only caretaker. But I’m not alone I have Hekate and her spirits working with me! ❤️ Great review I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the course.

  • Wow. Thank you for this. I purchased the book Hekate Soteira at a metaphysical shop, a few months ago, and the owner recommended this course to me. And I have a curiosity about PGM, ever since hearing Dr. Sledge talk about Ancient Greek magic. . . Adding in your glowing review, I am going to seriously consider the course!

  • Thank you for this descrption of the course… I always love perusal your articles and listening to what you have to say.. You have such a delightful way of speaking and explaining in depth. I am signing up for the 50 Rites course tonight and am super stoked to start along with Jack’s “Hekataeon” book ❤😊.

  • I’m rarely interested in talking courses but like many who work with Hekate I’ve always been very drawn to hey. That being said I’ve taken both Jack grayles course and Jason Miller’s hekate course. (OK to be truly honest I’m currently taking jack grayles PGM 50 rites for 50 nights) and while Jason Miller’s class is very good my personal opinion is that if you’re deciding between the two then hands down jack Grayles was the greater value.

  • As always, a great review of whatever it is that u are reviewing and much appreciate it Have a business suggestion which I hope u like: I for the past year and half, has become accustomed to your soothing voice so much! That is why I was so bummed out to hear u won’t continue the Iliad saga. Just had this flash, which pains me to know that I might never get to purchase it cause I live in Iran and aside from the low value of our money I don’t have access to international banking systems, but how about you, Mr Poisson, our beloved Foolish Fish, creat a collection of guided meditations and pathworkings even. For the civilian users😁 as well as the esoteric and occult community I bet at least many of ur subscribers will enjoy it, very much so and then u can even think about an app like the Headspace but for magicians and mystics. That would be so cool

  • It’s like opening up Hekate’s master key and deciphering the symbols found there, & then extrapolating it in to a language we can all understand, that is we can both apply to our individual practices, and that is conducive for the modern occult world in general. Thank you Foolish Fish for sharing your experiences with this book and course X 👏🏻🙌🏻😈🥰❤️🫶🏻✨💎✨

  • FF, will you at some point explain and share why someone would choose to work with Hekate? Her history, why the old time civilizations would turn to her, and her application and personal efforts with a modern individual? A few years ago I felt a strong call from Hekate without being involved in that world much prior, and was first lead to the Jason Miller course that I ended up taking. I feel that there is definitely something to be said about original PGM versus new material such like JM’s. In the end, what I got out of the course is something I cannot describe and it leaves me questioning really, still, what and who is Hekate? I have worked with her for over a year but haven’t had many more than 3 close experiences that still leave me confused.

  • But here’s the big question: does it teach basic devotional practice? It sounds like it covers a lot of ground magically-speaking very well which is great for occultists but I didn’t hear much about how to engage with Her devotionally (which is a lot more important than most occultists these days are willing to admit). Now, granted, I would imagine that this would probably be one of the first things learned and maybe not seen as something to highlight in particular in a review but it is a deceptively simple part of the process that is way more crucial than is taught today
