What Was Posner’S Statement Regarding The Belief In Conspiracies?

In this interview, Gerald Posner discusses the forensic evidence that points to Oswald as the lone assassin and the lack of credible evidence to support various conspiracy theories. The American Psychological Association published a review of 170 studies on what drives people to believe in conspiracy theories, finding that personality traits, such as paranoia and antagonism, and three psychological needs: understanding, control, and self-image, motivate people to believe in conspiracy theories.

Conspiration theories are a fascinating and complex aspect of human culture, often defined as beliefs or explanations that attribute the cause of significant events or situations to secret, malevolent plots. New research suggests that events happening worldwide are nurturing underlying emotions that make people more willing to believe in conspiracies. Experiments have revealed that feelings of belonging, understanding, control, and belonging are the psychological factors that drive people to accept and spread conspiracy theories.

However, there is little evidence that believing in conspiracy theories makes people feel better. For example, after reading about conspiracy theories, there is no physical evidence at Dealey Plaza to suggest anyone but Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President Kennedy. Two studies examined the relationship between the need for cognitive closure (NFCC), levels of belief in real world conspiracy theories, and the attribution of events.

In conclusion, while Gerald Posner claims that originalism is “nonsense”, Steve Sachs and others try to show why it has real “bite” in the debate surrounding conspiracy theories.

  • Terrific conversation. Informative. Fact-based. Reasoned. Considers many of the alternative hypotheses. Thanks for having, recording and posting it. In one respect, we have an instance of Hanlon’s Razor writ large. And yet I doubt all the evidence and sober, factual analysis will silence the conspiracy buffs. Such is the nature of buffs. Like Agent Mulder, they want to believe.

  • Oswald didn’t even fire a weapon that day. There’s a thousand reasons that clearly show multiple shooters. Mr. Gerald Posner obviously has never spent any time with munitions/arms. In other words has no idea about the alleged rifle and cartridge claimed to have been used. Lastly… Why wouldn’t you shoot while the target is coming toward you. It’s perfect. No obstruction. It gets easier the closer it gets. Nearly straight on. Rather Oswald waits until the car is making an S turn, through a tree, while the target is moving away. The simple fact the limo had a dent on the metal trim, a bullet hole through the windshield, a Connelly hit, a JFK hit in the throat, a hit in the head, a bystander near the underpass getting struck by a bullet fragment or concrete shrapnel. The motorcycle cop to the left rear of the Limo was covered in JFK’s blood. There’s just a few indisputable facts that clearly show there were multiple shooters and I’d bet you anything Oswald wasn’t one of them.

  • Gerald Posner is the ultimate authority on the JFK assassination. 5:00 Glad he points out the fallibility of eye witness accounts decades after the fact. It reminds me of all the Me Too accusations from 1/2 century ago and all of a sudden they remember it :eyes-purple-crying: Also I just heard Buell Fraser saying he’s kept a secret for 60 years: that he saw another gunman..just in time for his book. :face-blue-smiling: However I will say that my own memory is infallible and accurate, but I guess I’m an exception. 1:00:00 The question with umbrella man is was he alluding to JFK’s appeasement of the USSR? But you know where we diverge? Well it’s not Gerald’s concept really, but the notion that here is JFK and here is Ozzy; it doesn’t balance. Not true. JFK was just one man. And Ozzy was one man. So on that level, the only actual level, there is balance.

  • This is a wonderful interview, that should be seen by all Americans who still care about the assassination of JFK. IMO, there are only two books that are worthy of being considered the ultimate truth of this awful deed. I read Case Closed back in the early 1990s. after having read over a dozen “pro-conspiracy” books that had flooded the market over the years. Case Closed convinced me of the likelihood that LHO was the culprit…but there were still questions to be answered…Then, in 2007, Vincent Bugliosi released his amazingly detailed book, Reclaiming History. Bugliosi, unlike Posner, was a highly regarded prosecutor, who had won 100 out of 101 cases he pursued. In his book, he shows an awesomely detailed, super-deeply researched study of this event. He mentioned Posner’s book, but was not convinced by it, although he did praise aspects of it. Bugliosi came to the same conclusion that Posner did, but provides a plethora of evidence to back his conclusion up…If, after reading both of these books, you still think there was a conspiracy…see a good mental health specialist! Bugliosi died a few years ago, but he gave several solid interviews on this subject…both of these men should be held in very high esteem for their efforts to shed the ultimate light on the death of JFK!

  • Posner got a couple of technical things wrong, regarding Oswald’s fleeing the scene….He actually took a BUS first, even getting a transfer from the driver…after the bus being caught in a traffic jam, he then exits the bus, and flags down a CAB, that took him to within a few blocks of his rooming house…also, after shooting officer Tippit, he was only followed a short distance by someone, who turned back…then Oswald chose to hide in an alcove of a shoe store!..The manager, named Johnny Brewer, notice Oswald, looking stressed, and not facing the busy street, that had some police cars moving by. Brewer then followed Oswald down the street, where the Texas Theater was located…Brewer saw that Oswald sneaked into the theater, when the ticket woman was distracted by the street scene going on. Brewer was definitely the responsible citizen, who, while inside the shoe store, had heard the brief description of Oswald being put out over the radio. While Posner got these details wrong, I do not really know, but it is not critical to what he is telling us.

  • Posner touches on the missteps of the authorities. What he could further say is the real conspiracy was these same agencies and officials were humiliated and embarrassed on how they and their agencies could have easily prevented this but mistakes were made but for understandable reasons. Embarrasment, shame, reputations, politics and world view muddied the waters of this history shifting event.

  • Three points: 1) While some conspiracy theorists may doubt the autopsy evidence, one has only to look at the Zapruder film: the large wound of exit is (all too clearly) on the right side of the head, not the rear. 2) I suspect that what has been held back, among the Government documents, are CIA records which show that they knew from electronic surveillance what Oswald said in the Cuban embassy – possibly expressing a thought about killing Kennedy – but failed to either watch Oswald when he returned to the US or pass the information to the FBI. This would have been supremely embarrassing to the CIA. At the very least, the CIA would not have wanted the public and foreign governments to find out about their diplomatic surveillance activities. The US government is not sitting on evidence that the CIA was behind the assassination. 3) Part of the reason that the majority of the public believes in a conspiracy is that non-conspiracy authors, like Gerald Posner, were only published 30 years after the fact; while the conspiracy theorists published almost immediately after the Warren Report. Of course, in their defence, new wound ballistic evidence was only available much later. One wonders what would have been the effect if books like “Case Closed” were published in the ’60s…

  • Does this guy really believe what he is saying, ok please explain why these people are in Dealy Plaza, Johnny Roselli, Chuck Nicoletti, Malcolm Wallace, Sheriff Weathersford, Rosco White, James Files, why did everyone run to the grassy knoll, why were reports coming in of secret service keeping people away from grassy knoll, explain umbrella man explain Mary Morman photo, explain the hundreds of mysterious deaths of witnesses and police

  • Which wrist of Connally think this chap is confused as he points as if it was the Governors LEFT- How much bone was destroyed – ribs large radius bone smashed – view the x-rays. I think this chappy is a Mr Warren Report bunny. What about the 1.6 seconds in between Kennedy and Connally being hit by the same bullet. Even Connally statements say I was not hit by the same bullet and so does the Zupuder film. The bullet needed a rest between the the men. Magic!

  • In January 1961 (almost 3 years before JFK was killed) a person went to Washington DC to meet with the State Department and also actually had tried to meet President Kennedy. This person believed that Lee Harvey Oswald (in Russia at this time) was an agent working for the United States. The Question — Who was this person ? There is a reason someone like Posner would know the answer – but NO conspiracy theorist seems to.

  • In 2010, Attorney Mark Lane was Retained by Author Gerald Posner to Represent Him in a Media Case. Posner offered his explanation for hiring Lane to defend against allegations about his work. “Although I’m convinced Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President Kennedy, I’ve always believed that had Mark Lane represented Oswald, he would have won an acquittal. That’s why Mark Lane was the obvious choice as my own attorney.”

  • I often think the Kennedy Assassination proves Nietzsche’s assertion that there are no facts only interpretations. The interviewer touched on this when he declared we were hard-wired biologically to seek out patterns, and when you subject any complicated event to minute analysis you can find many random details to support a theory you wish to propagate.

  • To he honest I doubt we’d be still talking about this case if it weren’t a President… It’s really simple to me,and 99% of murder cases are solved with little facts. You can’t explain away how Oswald got his job and why Ruby was sending cash to a stripper 90 seconds before he shot Oswald… Ive been to the old police station and it’s right there. He just noticed a commotion and was a nosey guy…. He also 100% killed Tibbit. Why did he leave work and kill a cop? Must be the Cia! Lol!

  • Everybody gets the origin story of the Single Bullet Theory wrong…completely backward: including Gerald Posner. It was the dawning realization of a young associate counsel to the Warren Commission who suddenly realized that they weren’t asking the right questions; and, in finding answers to the correct ones, the conclusion surprisingly fell out of the answers. It was just stunning detective work. It was not Arlen Specter who deserves the credit for formulating the Single Bullet solution, it was the insight of the late David W. Belin who proved, conclusively, that one bullet struck both Pres. Kennedy and Gov. Connolly.

  • When I felt my kid was old enough — almost 16 — I stopped shielding him from stuff I watched on the JFK assassination. One doc I was perusal with him in the room was about to show the Zapruder film, so before it rolled I warned him: “This is graphic and I know you’re kinda squeamish with blood and things, so you might not want to see this,” but he insisted he did. Now keep in mind, he didn’t know a thing about the assassination or my views of it, but after the film rolled he first exclaimed “That was the ACTUAL footage of him getting shot??” and I of course said “Yes.” He was speechless. Then I asked him: “Where do you think that shot came from?” and without a pause he said “From the right side maybe a little in front of him.” But Posner (and the Warren Commission) of course tell us: “Don’t believe your lying eyes.” 🙄

  • Some years ago, an exhaustive discussion of the evidence along with a series of diagrams based on scientific re-enactments of the assassination was on You Tube with Gerald Posner’s commentary. I do not find it now. It’s a shame that that extraordinary document is no longer available. It clarifies every detail, including the fact that Connelly’s seat was situated in an indented position that made it possible for the bullet that struck Kennedy’s neck also to inflict the wounds suffered by Connelly without recourse to any theory involving “magic.”

  • I was 95% in on the conspiracy idea for 30 years. Owned and read 24 books but never read even a single counter conspiracy book in all those years. Then Michael Shermer convinced me to try one source. It was Case Closed. That book alone tilted me to over 50% switching my view. After Bugliosi, my next book, I was 90% against conspiracy. Sturdivan, MacMillan, Lambert and Oswald’s Tale made it 100%

  • There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Oswald was on the 6th floor. And absolutely no evidence he fired a rifle that day. And he passed his parrafin test. Bonnie Ray Williams eating his chicken sandwich and Dr. Pepper in the so called snipers nest at 12 noon and after. No Oswald. And don’t forget the motorcade was running 6 minutes late. The sniper wouldn’t know that and would have to have been in position. Dallas police set up the snipers nest in different configurationMauser was first identified. Oswald seen on 2nd floor. In Wesley Buell Fraziers new book he finally admitted he saw a man with a rifle exiting the TSBD and put it in his trunk. Frazier never told anyone that because he was afraid for his family.

  • Brain and blood splatter to the back of the car and street. Parkland doctors and nurses on record saying there was a large exit wound in the back of the head. Limousine comes to a near complete stop at the moment of fatal impact violating secret service training to the max, if you don’t think that is true then explain Clint Hill being able to run to the back of the car. The car stopped! Oh and BTW the house select committee determined there was a probability of multiple shooters, so officially, per the government it was a conspiracy.

  • Posner with “people spend too much time thinking about Dealey Plaza” is just silly. The Zapruder film shows evidence that at least one bullet came from the front. He is trying to psychoanalyze Oswald. How do you do that with a 24 yr old kid who is hardly known to anyone? (other than his CIA handlers like DeMarchildt and Ruth Paine) Had he lived and could have been interviewed, maybe, but trying to do that with a couple of remarks he made on a radio show in New Orleans or something someone heard him say in the army? Give me a break.

  • Turkey Shoot; more than one gunman. LeeHO knew something and shot live on TV by JRuby, but Ruby gets cancer: dead. That female reporter, Killgallen who was found dead supposedly by suicide, all the witnesses mysteriously DEAD. Killers are hiding in plain sight. Ever lose something & go nuts looking for it just to find it under your nose ? I recall that film: JFK’s head goes up,then to the left; grabs his throat and his back harness prohibits evasive movement ; next shot, head explodes. I can believe driver turned around and shoots. In either case of so many possibilities, Kennedy was NOT supposed to survive. And we’re not even discussing how the President’s body was handled between Parkland Hospital and Bethesda Naval in Washington … the different types of caskets. Why did LBJ get sworn in as POTUS right hand placed on a Missle, not a Bible on plane with, Jacqueline Kennedy standing right next to him in bloody dress? For sure : more questions than answers, and the moment someone gets too close, like the Vatican Library: records SEALED. Oops, did i get too close again? Yes, i did.

  • I don’t have to read all, or any, of the WC to form an opinion on the presentations of those who have. I put the Posners and the Lanes in the balance and see what’s what. This is akin to how juries weigh “expert opinion” witnesses. When Max Holland points out that a slug’s exit-hole in the wall of the skull (or glass, etc. for that matter) is spalled outward conically, it saves me an incredible amount of reading.

  • As a young teenager, I would get interested in this particular event. I was only 3 when he was killed and therefore have absolutely no memory of Kennedy or the assassination. All the books I read were mainly about the 4 days and not some analysis. So I had no reason to think there was any conspiracy being Oswald was the only name that came up. I saw the movie “Executive Action” and thought it was certainly thought-provoking (I was 13 when the film came out), but the movie made very clear it was just simply a movie and they didn’t even know if this conspiracy even existed – they just suggested it could have happened. But it did nothing for me to think Oswald wasn’t involved. Then the Zapruder film gets shown to the public. We see his head snap backward. Okay, NOW it made me think there could have been someone else firing on the president. And I keep thinking there HAD to be more than one person. But then came 1988 and the Nova episode “Who Shot President Kennedy”, which made clear that the case was so hopelessly botched up, we were never really going to know for sure what happened. But I still held on to more than one gunman – but my source was the only book that NOVA mentioned on the subject which was “Six Seconds in Dallas”, and my goodness, even Vincent Bugliosi admitted the book was impressive. But NOW we skip to now. Well, forensics have come so far, and therefore I’m leaning towards just one gunman – and it was Oswald. We can go on way longer arguing about it, but I will only say this, and this is a FACT.

  • Zfilm …. rooftop of the Dallas county records bldg….frame 313…318… Sprocket hole .. evidence of a second shooter..and in no words did I mention the Knoll… that’s enough in itself to raise serious questions…I believe Oswald got the scope in the eye when the recoil snapped back which would explain the bent scope, and the shot that went wild down Elm Street

  • I greatly respect Mr. Posner’s passion and research, and I absolutely believe Oswald was shooting from the sixth floor, and the first shot that hit JFK came from him. But after seeing the Zapruder film, I started thinking that the fatal shot may have come from the area of the grassy knoll. I believed it even more when Dr. Robert McClelland, one of the trauma doctors who oversaw the effort to save President Kennedy’s life, examined Kennedy’s wounds and he came to the conclusion that the fatal shot came from the area of the grassy knoll. I have no idea what the absolute truth is, and I doubt that any of us ever will, which is beyond pathetic.

  • There were several witnesses who disputed Oswald as the shooter of JD Tippitt. One such notable person was Acquilla Clemons who claims there were two shooters and that one of them was short and stocky. Ms. Clemons also said that she was told by authorities to keep quiet. Nevertheless she was interviewed by Mark Lane in 1966 for his well known documentary which was an adjunct to his book “Rush to Judgement”. Shortly thereafter Clemons disappeared and she has not been heard of since. Additionally, the bullets found at the scene were identified as being shot from a 38 automatic gun and did not match, nor were they compatible with Oswald’s 38 revolver. In general, I find Posner’s account here very disappointing for several reasons but I want to keep this as brief as possible: What I see here is a man who is arguing his case from a lawyer’s perspective. Posner in deed states this truth more than once and as everyone knows, when a defendant hires a lawyer to represent his interests the one question he never asks is whether or not his client committed the crime of which he or she is being accused. Fact is, a lawyer’s job is to advocate for a particular outcome which may or may not be the actual truth. Clearly that is what Posner is doing here. Second, by definition a conspiracy theory is one in which the conclusion is drawn and then evidence is cherry picked to fit the predetermined outcome. I cannot think of a more obvious example than a person who would write a book entitled “Case Closed” and then work backwards as a lawyer does in court, cherry picking evidence, glossing over other exculpatory evidence, and taking great liberty in asserting his opinions as fact at every turn.

  • Oswald + de Mohrenschildt, (CIA) = Walker, (blocks from Ruby’s Vegas club). Oswald’s whereabouts unknown for approx. three hours following attempt. Oswald kills Kennedy. Where was he going after leaving rooming house? Good question. See map of Dallas. Draw straight line from N. Beckley rooming house to Tenth + Patton… and continue. Few blocks later you will cross Ruby’s S. Ewing address. Waggoner Carr sent memo to J. Lee Rankin regarding this issue. No follow-up. Ruby tells Earl Warren he fears for his life and those of his family because of the JBS and Edwin Walker. Doesn’t prove anything, but certainly is interesting. And this is just the tip of a huge iceburg. Would enjoy speaking with Mr. Posner. He is three years my elder. I have a great respect for his intellect and his work.

  • Posner says Oswald had no particular hatred for Kennedy. Perhaps. But I wonder what he discussed with the diplomats in the Cuban embassy in Mexico City. I wonder if they might have told Oswald about the US-sponsored plots to kill Castro. If they did, that may have caused Oswald to think of Kennedy as a political enemy.

  • Sir. Thanks. I hate to buck someone as Posner who possesses such common sense, but I thought Stone’s movie STUNK.🦨 Oswald did it, Oswald did it alone. I have no objection to anyone ascribing a motive to Oswald, because, SO WHAT. Ruby took out Oswald on his own. He himself ascribed two motives: “….a Jew had guts” and, to save Mrs. Kennedy the trauma of coming back to Dallas…. Pick your own triggering (sorry!) event for Ruby. I think it was seeing that smirk as Oswald came in to the Klieg lights.

  • Posner is amazing in his profound incontrovertible logic. There is a number of facts that, by themselves, destroys the idea of Oswald being a part of a conspiracy. One is a neighbor friend of Maria’s who told her about the school book depository job opening. Without that one, tiny referral the assassination wouldn’t have happened.

  • Be objective, be real, and accept the technical evidence and personal testimonies of witnesses closest to the limosine and those nearest to the TSB building. People who understand accoustics, ballistics, criminal motives, logic, and accept the testimonies of credible eye-witnesses can only conclude that Oswald did NOT do it, that there was no “lone assassin” and that the fatal shopt DID come from behind the frence atop the “grassy knoll”. Furthermore, the timelines of events of all parties known to be or likely involved corroborate the evidence before any was tainted by the govt.

  • I read “Case Closed” shortly after it was published in 1993. It is the only JFK assassination book that presents facts rather than wild speculation (except for Vincent Bugliosi’s massive 1000+ page book many years later). The facts make it obvious Oswald was the assassin, and he acted alone. After “Case Closed”, there was no need to read any more on the subject. Posner, a respected author, was painted by those who disagreed with his findings as someone paid off by the government to publish a book supporting the Warren Commission’s conclusions. It’s disgusting how many people to this day believe any or all of the conspiracy theories. And so many actually think all the garbage in Oliver Stone’s “JFK” movie is factual.

  • Another cent’s worth of thought – with regards to “Occam’s Razor”, it seems to me that with all of the questions surrounding JFK’s assassination, the simplest way to disprove most of them would be to exhume the body and reexamined it using modern forensic techniques. We may even find his missing brain.

  • Posner: “Could security been better that day? Absolutely.” Lol….talk about a gross understatement…not only did all the security protection were backed off JFK’ limo….the driver slowed down for seven seconds as bullets reigned in on the president. Only after the kill shot hit JFK did the driver take off. Seven seconds! That is an eternity.

  • Here are two facts that prove that there was more than one shooter. The “magic bullet” was almost pristine and yet there bullet fragments in Governor Connally. So the magic bullet was not involved. The bullets from Oswald’s rifle were full metal jacket bullets (FMJB) which are difficult to fragment. The fatal bullet that hit JFK in the head was highly fragmented. It was not a FMJB. So It did not come from Oswald’s rifle. So there was more than one shooter and the Oswald rifle was not the one that killed the president. CASE CLOSED.

  • I like Posner’s analysis of Oswald’s personality dynamics which ties in well with Norman Mailer’s, but there is one thing that troubles me. This is governor Connolly’s testimony and the way it ties in with the film of the shooting. Connolly said he heard what sounded like a shot and he turned around to the right to look, in the film you see him doing this just when Kennedy’s arms are going up to under his chin. Then Connolly said he turned to the left and felt something hit him but didn’t hear the shot. Connolly was holding a white Stetson hat in his left hand whilst he initially turned turned to the right but then dropped it when he turned to the left consistent with being hit in the wrist on this second turn. Connolly’s testimony is completely consistent with the film of the shooting. However it raises a question in my mind. If the first shot missed why didn’t Connolly hear it, clearly in the movie Connolly, consistent with his testimony. turns to the right when he hears the shot just as Kennedy reacts with his arms to the first hit, then Connolly turns to the left drops the Stetson and then comes the kill shot to JFK’s head may he RIP. Which means if there was a bullet that missed then there were four shots. Bullets travel faster than sound and as any veteran who’s been shot will tell one doesn’t hear the bullet that hits you as when it does one’s system goes into shock and the sound doesn’t register and consistent with this Connolly testifies he felt but didn’t hear the shot that hit him when he turned to the left.

  • The problem for Posner was that he spoke too soon. When the ARRB declassified the House Select Committee on Assassinations medical files, we found out something Posner did not know and had not bothered to query about. (Understandable, considering what he was trying to do.) The doctors who examined the body in Bethesda, and who had it most of the night, agreed with the doctors in Dallas about the wound in the rear of the head. In fact, nearly as many witnesses at Bethesda agreed with the witnesses at Parkland. Gary Aguilar tallied them all up and it now comes to over 40 witnesses, fairly equally distributed between the two locations. So Posner’s thesis, which he spends over six pages developing, is undermined by the new files. So much for his title.

  • I agree with Posner but wanted to point out that the WC never made a determination of the shot timing or which one of three shots missed. Here is a relevant quote from the WCR… “If either the first or third shots missed, then a minimum of 2.3 seconds (necessary to operate the rifle) must be added to the time span of the shots which hit, giving a minimum time of 7.1 to 7.9 seconds for the three shots. If more than 2.3 seconds elapsed between a shot that missed and one that hit, then the time span would be correspondingly increased.”

  • Note that although Posner refers to the London docu-trial of 1986 as a critical event in reinvigorating his interest in the Kennedy case, he never in this article, mentions that trial’s victorious prosecutor: Vincent Bugliosi, by name. Hmm…Recall that in Reclaiming History Bugliosi takes Poser to task for a few flaws in his research, a fact of which Posner has to be aware. Though they’re on same side of the JFKA divide, I do not think they’re the best of friends.

  • Great interview and thanks to Gerald Posner for his book! When I was a kid, I saw “The Men Who Killed Kennedy” and was fascinated by the science, badge man etc. Even asked my parents to rent JFK when I was like 8 when it came out! I was always interested and would check in for new developments. A few years ago I watched a article, and it was so unbelievable (in a bad way) that I said “None of this sounds plausible. Let me actually find someone on the other side of the fence’s argument”. I found Geralds audio book online and it was AMAZING. Everything was logical, plausible and made sense. Plus there were plenty of things I never heard about because the other side would hide them. Like Gerald said, I was only interested in the history, I wasn’t emotionally attached so I was willing to change my stance to what I believe makes the most sense. So thanks!

  • I’ve just been perusal a vid on YT about the murder of Tippit, and it’s at complete odds with this guys opinion. I’ve been reading / perusal /you name it, all about this tragedy since I saw it on TV, that very day. There’s FAR TOO much contentious information to accept this mans conclusion. I’ll leave that to his Pro critics, to analise and conclude, for me.

  • If you listen to the recording from the cop who had his recorder on,recording the gun fire. There is a shot followed by two very fast shots the gun that was found on the 6th floor was not able to take rapid shot . It was bolt action. You had to resite your target look up the way this rifle fired. There were a team of shooters.

  • Mr Posner is entitled to his views and conclusions, however, he and many others merely base their views on the Zapruder film, the copies of which the public sees is at least several generation of copies away from the original film. Also, viewing this assassination from a ‘lawyers perspective’ is quite different from that of criminal forensic expert. The Warren Report was designed and succeeded in quickly placing a simple conclusion upon the death of JFK.

  • The real story is on America’s Untold Stories… Mark Groubert is a genius… I don’t agree with him on the kill shot. There were two bullets a FMJ through and through and a hollowpoint… The only hollow point was agent Hickey behind him. As he swung the M16 to return fire he fell back as the driver hit the gas …squeezing the trigger … Accidentally at the moment he passed Jacks head. I am a firearms expert and the trajectory fits . And there is a 20 cal entrance on the skull. It even explains the broken windshield … Connaly said it was raining down bullets … Bullets were found in the car and on the street and in Connaly . One shot a low power 22 penetrates the throat and only about an inch.. No… There were a lot of shooters . Sheriff’s admitted rifles on their building and a sheriff… Probably another Dallas bigot. Johnson flew AF 2 to Belgium to stop a codebreaker who cracked a French message and had all the facts weeks in advance . Johnson had him held on a nuthouse till after the election then disappeared to Johnsonville where the visitors till kill day were quite interesting Jackie said Jacks loudest argument he threatened to get back on the plane unless Yarborough was out and Connaly in… He almost left ! Then the traitor secret service bigot agents completely rearranged the whole parade . They took the flatbed film truck that always is in front of the prez …is put in back… The 2 agents running were told to quit . They went to a diner and we’re eating burgers when the news reached them .

  • Aside from all the well-known issues, there remains in me one doubt: there’s something about the composed manner and casual spontaneity with which Lee Oswald answered the question ” did you shoot the President? ” that still keeps me from achieving 100% certainty regarding his guilt: It’s the simple way he calmly said, ” No, I didn’t shoot anybody.”

  • Nobody can place Oswald on the sixth floor at the time of the shooting. Not the Warren report, not Bugliosi, and not Posner. If Posner could do that, he wouldn’t have to go on about Oswald’s psychology and smirk. The case against Oswald in the Walker shooting is so thin it wouldn’t be laughed out of court, it could never get to court in the first place. At the time, people thought Walker himself arranged it for publicity. The bullet was identified as a steel-jacketed 30-06 round. The Warren commission turned it into a copper-jacketed Carcano round. When Walker was shown the bullet by the House Select Committee on Assassinations, he called it a “ridiculous substitution. The physical evidence in the Tippit case lacks all chain of custody and again, no conviction in a court of law could be obtained. Only two Warren commission witnesses actually claimed to see the shooting: Domingo Benevides, who did not identify anyone; and Helen Markham, whose story changed so many times the commission said her testimony wasn’t really essential. Posner is a very engaging fellow, but he’s very disingenuous. I wonder if you noticed that he said the throat shot entered “high in the neck.” That of course is a fabrication, but a necessary one. JFK was hit in the third thoracic vertebra. That’s the upper back. How did a shot from the sixth floor hit him in the back and then deflect upwards, without hitting any bone, to exit his throat? Readers interested in a meticulous demolition of Posner’s book can refer to this article.

  • My 2 cents worth – I have two main problems with the Warren Commission: 1. Hoover did state that (I’m paraphrasing) the commission should find that Oswald was the only shooter. If this isn’t “confirmation bias”, it will do until the real thing comes along. 2. If Oswald really was just a “lone nut”, I see NO reason to keep any part of this crime secret let alone “classifying” it as “top secret”. I really enjoyed Case Closed. Below is the best article I’ve ever seen on recreating the “magic bullet” shot. youtu.be/PZRUNYZY71g

  • I just finished the audio version of Posner’s book. It was riveting. Before listening to it, I was vaguely interested in the Kennedy assassination because I was in grade school when it happened, but then 20 years later, I worked on a TV mini-series called Kennedy, starring Martin Sheen in which we closed down the financial disctrict of Richmond, Virginia and turned it into Dealy Plaza. The old Medical College of Virginia was used for Parkland Hospital. It was a fascinating project. I have always presumed that Oswald was more or less set up as a “Patsy” for the shooting in some plot. But then I spent the next 30 years in law enforcement and learned through experience that nobody keeps their mouth shut for that long in a criminal conspiracy. The murder of Oswald by Jack Ruby kept me believing in some sort of mob plot. Much of this I now know was just based on false information reported as fact, usually by some nut job with a book to sell, or someone who got invited to a public library to give everyone the “inside story of what really happened”. I heard everything about Oswald’s alleged involvement with spy planes in Japan, to how his rifle was either (depending on whom you ask) a crappy Italian Carcano that wouldn’t hit anything to a beautifully made German Mauser that had been switched to a Carcano after the shots were fired. I heard all kinds of things about Jack Ruby being a hit man for the mob. I heard about four shots, the grassy knoll, and pretty much everything else you can imagine.

  • it is very interesting how sound waves travel in a place with buildings all around. I was walking down a small street and started hearing a loud engine rumbling, seeming to come from a building ahead of me on the right. It had a large open door and I thought there must be a machine running in there. I kept walking and once I got past a building on my left, suddenly I saw and heard the source of the sound; a powerful motorcycle ahead on my left. The building on my left had been blocking the sound from reaching my ears directly, and I could have sworn the source of the sound was on my right. I was walking down the street and heard the sound of a big truck, seemingly in front of me; there was no truck in front of me and I turned around and it was behind me. This is like when Lee Bowers, who worked in the railyard tower for 10 years, talked about the time when work was being done on the exterior of the TSBD. He said he couldn’t tell if the sounds were coming from the TSBD or the triple underpass / knoll area – because of reverberations. It’s extremely easy to see why people were not sure if the shots came from the underpass/knoll or from the TSBD. Maybe that’s why almost everyone in Dealey Plaza that day thought the shots might have come from one area or the other – not both. Which area has the evidence of a shooter? the TSBD.

  • In almost 60 years no one has been able to show anyone else’s involvement other than Oswald. Oswald did this alone, he was not part of a conspiracy. Posner’s book is valuable for the interviews he did with people that knew Oswald, he talked with people that were in the military and other walks of life with and around Oswald. Oswald’s guilt is established beyond all doubt but the book is still worth reading as a study of the psychology of Oswald through the people that knew him.

  • Some might say that this was going to happen. That it was just part of the universe unfolding as it continues on its existence. It was fated since the beginning and there’s the view of the multiverse that in another universe Kennedy isn’t killed or Oswald killed Walker etc etc. Will we ever know the absolute answer, the answer is no and maybe that’s just the way it is meant to be, because we are humans and not gods and some things are unknowable. Posner’s work as far as the actual physical assassination is based on facts as is Oswald’s motivations. Oswald never received love and in fact felt ignored and unappreciated and suffered from one of the worst emotional conditions of all low self-esteem and delusions of grandeur. Like Posner said Kennedy just fell into his lap and he was in that agitated state, he had the skills from the Army 🪖 and the ability to buy a rifle because of Americans gun fetish, and that combination my friends led to November 22, 1963 Jack Ruby was another loser and mental defective who again fell into killing Oswald due to gun fetish and emotional instability and having to wire one of his strippers money and Oswald’s transfer to the Dallas jail was running late. If he had been transferred at the correct time, Oswald would not have been killed then and there. He might have been killed regardless but not there and not then and probably not by Ruby. ijs

  • Great vid. The inability to think critically is a HUGE problem for humanity. Posner’s part at the end, when he illustrates that THERE’S NO AMOUNT OF EVIDENCE which would convince those wed to conspiracy theories otherwise was hilarious, and also sadly true. I’ve had MANY discussions with conspiracy theorists, and yeah, there really is no amount of logic, common sense, or evidence that can convince many of them…E

  • “I think more than anything else, if I had an opportunity and the facts that said Lee was innocent, I would be out there shouting it loud and clear. But the facts point in the other direction. If you go right down the line and look at it, all the facts will point to Lee’s involvement. Lee actually committed the crime, period…Now what we don’t know is the why. We can go through all those speculations and theories and so forth and everything, but I think it goes back to his character. He had some real serious mental problems as far as I’m concerned. This is not an excuse of what he did. This is understanding what he did. He had problems at home. He had problems on his job. He was completely frustrated about what was going on around him. He was really in serious depression as far as I’m concerned. His demeanor and his direction that he wanted to go was to be somebody. But then again, he’s being held down by the society, you know, that he really wanted to take notice of him, and they didn’t take notice of him.” ― Robert Oswald Or was he in on the conspiracy too? 🤔

  • Oh I also wanted to note about the Warren Commission being wrong. Gerald was absolutely right. They got the timing wrong, and Connally didn’t know the frame he actually got shot at on. Now with the restored version of the Zapruder film, you can clearly see Connallys jacket lapel move open and close the instance Kennedy is shot in the neck (About frame 224).

  • Read Dealey Plaza – The End of Camelot to see what really happened with all the conspiracy theories. The FBI agent in charge of tracking Marina Oswald James Hostsy harassed her and Ruth Paine unmercifully setting Lee off. They had no idea where Lee was or that he worked at the Texas Book Depository. Lee went to the Dallas Office looking for FBI agent James Hostsy. He was not in. Oswald was screaming and making threats to see him. He handed a note to his secretary to give to him in an envelope, contents not seen. On Friday, November 22 at 12:30 p.m., JFK was shot. On Sunday at 9:30 a.m., November 24, Agent Hostsy and the FBI Station Chief met at the Dallas FBI office and flushed down all notes and information about Oswald and his wife down the toilet. What about that Conspiracy?

  • The CIA files do reveal new information. The main thing is Oswald’s trip to the Cuban Embassy in Mexico was not simply to get a visa. The contention is the Sept.9 NY Times interview with Castro (where the Cuban leader excoriates JFK and talks about US plots to kill Castro) infuriated Oswald enough to get him to join the Cuban revolution or volunteer his services to kill JFK in service of said revolution. The Castro interview was syndicated throughout the country, and Oswald probably read it in the New Orleans Times-Picayune newspaper. If true, that is a plausible motive for Oswald’s actions. A question I have is, what truth is there to the attempted assassination of JFK in Chicago on Nov.2, 1963? It was supposedly foiled by the Secret Service, but the act bared striking similarities to Dallas (an ex-Marine sharpshooter who had a job in a warehouse overlooking the proposed presidential motorcade). I’ve only heard this story from one source, the late Secret Service agent, Abraham Bolden. I would like to hear corroboration (or a dispute) of that event.

  • Posner knows what he’s talking about. I should thank him because he confirms what I have been saying for years – Oswald did it and he did it alone. However, in this article, I’m not quite agreeing with a few areas. Mainly – Oswald’s “flight”. Posner is implying Oswald had a plan after he shot JFK. Well I’m sorry but I don’t see it. What I see is a guy that didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing. He was all over the place. Leaves the building, gets on a bus, takes a taxi, goes to his room, grabs his gun, starts walking – God knows where – then he kills that cop. Then he ends up in that movie theater, for no particular reason. I don’t see any plan whatsoever in LHO’s actions after the assassination. One other area I’m iffy on is Ruby. Agreed he was there in a position to shoot Oswald thru sheer happenstance. However, nothing was going thru Jack Ruby’s mind other than in that one singular moment in time, he lost his cool and pulled out his gun.

  • Loved Posner’s book but he’s WRONG when he asserts that without the Z film “we’d never know what really happened.” One must read the late Vincent Bugliosi’s tome, RECLAIMING HISTORY, after reading Posner’s lesser (but still excellent) book. Vince points out that movies hardly EVER accompany a murder, yet convictions based on other evidence are routine.

  • I gave up trying to convince conspiracy theorists years ago. Most of them are asking questions and making statements that are beginner level stuff – What about Jack Ruby? Oswald said he was a Patsy, head shot came from the front cause the head goes back and to the left, and so on. You can’t convince them. Like Gerald said, if he had HD footage of Oswald in the Sniper’s nest, they’d just say it was fake in some way. Every massive event carries a million conspiracy theories, it’s what people do. The moon landings, JFK, Princess Diana, 911, Paul McCartney is dead, Covid, the list goes on and on. My best advice to anyone who wants to research the JFK Assassination, is to read the Warren report and make your own decision. If you think there was a conspiracy, fine but please don’t say Oswald was innocent cause with all the evidence against him, you have to have him involved. Please don’t send me messages arguing and calling me names, I’m not interested in a debate and I won’t reply.

  • Gerald im not a hater but come on brother you cant be flogging Oswald still ? Your theory means Oswald fluked a job in front of the depository then someone swapped the route tje night before and Oswald got lucky once again. By fluke again he brought a rifle into work in anticipation of jfk going past his work ? He had to set up the books also.

  • Posner is just as bad and irresponsible on the medical evidence as he is about Oswald. In the chapter entitled “He Has a Death Look” he uses people like Michael Baden to discredit the doctors in Dallas who say they saw a large hole in the rear of Kennedy’s head. Posner is intent on getting rid of that hole because it would give strong evidence of there being a shot from the front of Kennedy’s car. In fact, he admits this himself about the hole in the back of the head: “If true, this not only contradicted the findings of the autopsy team but was evidence that the President was probably shot from the front. He then spends pages trying to discredit the doctors and attendants at Parkland Hospital who say they saw this hole. The agenda being that if he does so, there will be no evidence for it left.

  • What a load of crap, the angle of the bullet hitting Connelly debunks single bullet. It’s a completely separate shot from different position . The Zapruder film was altered . If Kennedy was shot from behind why was the police riders behind the car, notably the one on the left covered in Kennedy’s blood and not the driver or other secret service passenger. What about the shot that lands in the grass at the feet of the girl running parallel to the limo, she stopped running and looks directly at her feet where the bullet slammed into the soil . Oswald was just a patsy .

  • My main concern is the trajectory of the magic bullet. I can’t see how the right side of JFK was hit near the T3 and ended up coming out the throat. Upwards out of JFK to Connally now going downwards. POSNER HIMSELF DISPOVES THE SINGLE BULLET THEORY. How can it go straight threw Kennedy if it’s shot from the 6th floor? But really it’s not straight threw its at an upward trajectory.

  • I’m relieved to know that Posner has made sense of this chaotic world, and that things are usually as they appear. Conspiracies are child’s play. The odds of two or more people colluding to maintain, increase, or preserve, their power, and ability to manipulate the masses, is so far above the realm of possibility, that it demands ridicule. Thank you, Gerald. Now I can sleep at night. 😊

  • Having said what I have written here and elsewhere… I would like to propose a very seldom considered IDEA … and that is: What if Lee Harvey Oswald THOUGHT he was participating in a “False Flag” type of deal !!?? (sort of similar to the General Walker event) And what if Lee Harvey Oswald fired, (if indeed he did fire a rifle that day) and INTENTIONALLY MISSED ON PURPOSE ?? (one shot missed to the right of the car and chipped a curb… and another shot was seen chipping a man-hole cover to the left and the snaking into the ground– there are photographs and witness testimony of an unknown man digging up the bullet and placing it into his pocket– never to be seen or heard from again…) So is it not just a bit POSSIBLE that Oswald took shots and missed!! And think about how shocked he would have been to have realized all at once that “OTHERS” had shot to kill !! And think about how explosive it would have been if it had only been a false flag type deal?? Who would have taken the blame for it?? Now put this in a context of Governor Connally shouting out: “My God, ‘THEY’ are going to kill US ALL” !! And Oswald claiming: “I did not shoot anybody” (doesn’t that fit in with the “he” shot and MISSED idea??) ?

  • I was a conspiracy nut for years. A seminal moment for me was the NOVA production with the father-son ballistics team. They beautifully and precisely replicated the wounds of JFK and Connally perfectly…. specifically, the “Magic Bullet”. Another event that slammed the door on the multiple-shooter nonsense was the excellent presentation, “The Lost Bullet” by Max Holland. Research by folks such as Posner is essential, but the physical recreations of the two aforementioned presentations are overwhelming…. never mind the fact of how idiotic it would be to have any one of the zany schemes that represent the alternative. Name any suspect group and you’ll realize that Kennedy was worth far more to them alive, than dead… given the common knowledge among said groups of his philandering and dubious connections. The next time you are confronted with someone’s conspiratorial explanation, ask of them to engage in this simple exercise. Have them assume the role of ringleader of their scheme, and have them lay out the plan as though it were Novermber 21st, 1963. See how far they can go before their frustration grows and things fall apart. Conspiracies are easy in hindsight…. not so much when you have to PLAN for one. If you need more doubt cast upon the notion that Oswald was part of some big plan…. read Mailer’s book, “Oswald’s Tale” and you would realize you wouldn’t entrust Oswald to wash your car.

  • How did Oswald return to the US after defecting to the USSR and just resume his normal life? At the height of the Cold War no less? Why wasn’t he in jail for treason? FYI there was an excellent documentary on ABC about 25 years ago based on Posner’s book and hosted by Peter Jennings. Highly recommend if you can find it.

  • This guy is telling it like it happened based on actual facts. Very logical. If you read about Oswald you might never know WHY he ultimately did it, but he sure had the personality to do it combined with a history of gun violence (the assassination attempt on Walker) prior to Nov 22nd. Oswald was delusional and thought he was contributing a verse in the great saga of human history by this deed of his.

  • I think in 1989 when he first proposed this book most of the world including me and Posner himself, thought it was a conspiracy. But some of us saw the facts and realized we were wrong; most are still in denial. :hand-pink-waving: 10:10 I disagree with that comparison. That there was “parity” of Holocaust victims and Nazis. Talk about a loser: schicky wasn’t an underachiever; he was a NON-achiever. Maybe it’s these losers who have the greatest negative effects on history. 34:00 Here’s something new, at least for me. Posner theorizes that Ozzy wasn’t on a suicide mission. He would only do the assassination if he thought he could get away with it. And if he felt he couldn’t, he would’ve abandoned the attempt. However if that was the case why did he leave his life savings and wedding ring with Marina when he left? 😎

  • Oswald was working long ago at the TSBD, before the president came to Dallas and passed the TDBD. So, he (LHO) was placed there? That’s insane OR BETTER: another fact for a conspiracy if he was placed. But by whom? Not even JFK knew the exact way of the motorcade. How could LHO knew it? To read about the way in the papers 2 days before doesn’t make him automaticly an assassin…

  • to show how indiscriminate and undiscerning, how cynical Posner is about what his audience knows, toward the end of his book he quotes Robert Blakey, Chief Counsel of the HSCA, about what was in the classified files that he helped lock up for over 50 years: “I know everything in those files, and there is no smoking gun in there. People who expect major revelations will be disappointed. Everything of importance got into our report.” (p. 469) This is an amazing quote for Posner to use on several counts: Just five pages earlier, Posner spent a long section on his book discrediting Blakey and his conclusions about a Mafia conspiracy. Now he trots out the man he just discredited as an authority on what he did not reveal. Blakey has just told him that he “knew everything in those files”. Posner does not challenge the statement. Yet, even at the time Posner’s book was written the National Archives had estimated that there were about two million pages of classified files they had to work on declassifying. The actual number turned out to be even higher. Yet Posner does not question the astounding claim that Blakey read all this stuff and still-15 year later– “knew everything” in it. It was Blakey’s report that covered up the point above about the Bethesda doctors agreeing with the Parkland doctors on the wound in the rear of Kennedy’s head. A tenet that their own (hidden) documents and interviews contravened. The two major authors of the Final Report were Blakey and Richard Billings. It was Posner himself who wrote, as we have seen, that this wound placement would constitute evidence that Kennedy was hit from the front.

  • One of the notable things about Posner’s book is how much of a personal attack it is upon Oswald. Who does he rely upon for much of this personal vitriol? None other than Priscilla Johnson… Another source is Ruth Paine. Another is John Lattimer. As the reader can see from other profiles, these are not the most unbiased or credible sources. Posner just used them indiscriminately. He also used Hugh Aynesworth. In the profile on this site of Aynesworth, we mention the “attempt’ by Oswald to do away with Richard Nixon. We showed how this was probably foisted on Marina Oswald by Aynesworth sometime in 1964. We also showed why not even the Warren Commission could accept it. Guess what? Posner did.

  • Listen to this …. LHO could not get Edwin Walker in march 1963 …50 feet to the window and …25 feet to his desk … Hit the window pane and the the wall ..walker got hit by a few fragments that’s it Then Oswald got the job in the book depository OCT 1963 shooting a moving target yet LIKE LHO SAID IM JUST A PATSY .. It wasn’t him …Next question ……………..W H O ………

  • Great discussion! Enjoyed it very much. Something in general: Even if its not about the assassination itself, but in my humble opinion one of the biggest lies in all of this is that Oswald cheated his wife Marina (even if they were seperated) with Judyth Vary Baker. Its really incredible to me how many fans Mrs Baker has, or lets say how many ppl buy her story. To me its not 100 but at least 90-95% sure her story about being Lee’s lover in his final months is a lie, but yet still so many people believe her account. And this is actually something postive about Lee H. Oswald: I mean i have no doubt he killed JFK and tried to kill Eisenhower years before, but also Edwin Walker, but he wasnt a cheater who took care of some girl (Judyth). He was always there for his two daughters and wife, dont matter if you like him or not.

  • I could go on about this case forever, but I will add my own two cents worth in; Oswald may have thought, logically, the building would have been cordoned off after the event and everyone would have been searched. He could not have a pistol on his person. He gets away and there he is free to go home to get his weapon.

  • After being convinced most of my life that JFK’s death was part of a bigger plot, In the 1990’s I reluctantly read Posner’s Case Closed at the advice of a buddy of mine. I didn’t finish the book, because by about three-quarters of the way in I realized how wrong I had been, and am now completely convinced that Oswald acted alone.

  • Watch six seconds of the Zapruder film and say with a straight face the fatal shot to the head came from the back. Lol That film (hidden by the government for over a decade) also shows Connally shot seconds after Kennedy was initially shot. Even Connally testified he was shot by a different bullet. All the Dallas doctors testified the head wound was an exit wound and concluded the shot came from the front. JFK’s brain is missing. This author has weak credibility. When he says the Warren Commission got the right conclusion this contradicts the official current position by the federal government from the 1979 House Assassination Committee there was a probability of conspiracy.

  • I too fully support that Oswald acted alone in killing JFK…..but one thing that amazes me about Oswald is how he pulled this off…..I mean this was done during lunchtime at where he was working where anyone could have walked onto that floor whilst Lee was firing his 3 shots….my point being, Oswald must have been cool as a cucumber to do what he did…..I mean he didn’t know if someone could have arrived on that floor at any given time and yet he pulls off the crime of the century….Oswald, if nothing else, had nerves of steel……

  • Writers are WRITERS– They tend to tell STORIES with words– (Many writers who publish tend to hope that their work SELLS– and makes them some MONEY) Now, if one writes a story which is intended to be BELIEVEABLE as “true” facts, then, at some point the writer must talk and describe the work as filled with facts, and therefore, those “facts” removes all doubt… and also (that same) writer will tend to emphasize that anyone who contradicts (his) views are for the most part.. (sadly) wrong…and mistaken… For myself, and my simple mind-set, I tend to be in a camp which says, “Sorry, good story, but I just don’t believe you”… Therefore, those who comment here will fall into two basic areas: Those who believe… (will say how great this all is) And those who don’t.. (and find this a sort of laughable comedy)

  • Well done and a very thorough interview with Gerald Posner. I have always believed it was LHO who was the assassin and can see why there would be many other theories. Although after listening to your interview it leaves little speculation. I enjoy all of your Hindsight History articles, this was my favorite!

  • the killing of Kennedy was a coup d’etat. by government and the texas oil men. 60yrs on if you still believe oswald acted alone, or at all, then there is just no hope for you. posner must go write books on sunshine rainbows and unicorns. that is more believable than that shitty book. side note, so all doctors and nurses that saw a massive exit wound at the back of kennedys head didnt see what they saw? all evidence points to oswald because thats the way it was all set up. what about all the witnesses that saw stuff that went against the WC? what about the 170 people that died following the jfk assassination that were directly tied to the assassination? this is the best cover up in history, next to 9/11.

  • @36:20 perhaps this is what God must feel like perusal His creation – US knowing what lies ahead yet actually being able to do something about it – but he doesn’t as He has given us free will Great show! I’ve always kept an open mind but I finally was able to visit #Dallas in person last year and after discovering Mr. Posner’s book and then just applying a smidgen of common sense I am now 99.22% certain is was LHO alone. Listen to #TheWHO #BehindBlueEyes – there’s NO better theme song for LEE!

  • I agree with Gerald 100 percent, he acted alone. Only thr mob logically would have done it. If it was a conspiracy, Oswald would have been killed or wisked away minutes after he leaves thr building. He would never have been allowed to have lived 48 hours afterr the killing. It makes no sense. Also, why would they send Ruby in and kill him infront of thr hole world. Now yu gotta kill Ruby immediately, but he lives 4 more years. Such crap, if it was a conspiracy Ruby must be killed within seconds of killing Oswald, and that didnt happen either….give me a break, its suck crap

  • My city FT Worth would have never been built to where it is now with out Military contracts,we have now one of the Nicest city’s in the Country!!started the GD& Lock Heed Martin,in the 40 for WW.ll,& also Amon G Carter!! was best friends with FDR,this city wasn’t going to stall and go backwards, not going to Happen! As soon as my Father left the Mariners,he moved us to FT .Worth, because of my he connections he made!!USMC

  • Any comments about the bullet on the stretcher that now a Dallas Police man or sheriff said he found it in the limo? and put it on the stretcher? This was just a couple of weeks ago? Why now? I believe Oswald shot Kennedy alone, I believed that before I read Posner’s book. I believed it from day two. I was in Catholic school in second grade.

  • Hmm his head goes backwards his brains splatter on the trunk through the giant hole in the back of his head that all the doctors described 🤔 and they also said that was consistent with a shot from the front. The picture of Oswald with a rifle in the backyard has different straps than the rifle from the book suppository numerous witnesses heard shots from the grassy knoll and under the bridge and let’s not forget the magic bullet that changed direction and curved and hit the governor and the bullet that was in solid condition that was found in the stretcher and the time it takes to get off 3 shots with the rifle in so many seconds. It’s impossible that one shooter could do that even experts say that’s impossible. Never trust the Freemasons that are involved in a crime especially murder because they take an oath of Hiram Abiff if you turn on them you are taken out. Like Kennedy said in his speech about the monolithic society that is trying to control society or does control society along with the those central bankers and the federal reserve money makers that use the word federal to confuse people and charge interest to the government for printing papers with numbers on them. And that worthless paper controls the world and ruins people’s lives.

  • Posner is so wrong. The headshot couldn’t have come from behind, as the entry was at the hairline near his right temple, which then blew a large section out of the back right part of his head. The Parkland doctors clearly saw the back of his head gone, & some of his brains fell out on the table in trama1. The military autopsy at Bethesda either faked the photo or patched his head to make it appear the entry was in the rear. Definite coverup. Watch the newly released JFK: What the doctors at Parkland saw, on Paramount+. And also, the Zapruder film was edited with several parts removed & other pieces resized. It doesn’t even show the car come to a complete stop briefly, before surging off & towards Parkland.

  • All those movies, photos, books, witnesses, experts… All those countless and pointless discussions about assumptions and theories…. How many shots were there. Where did they come from. How many wounds were there. The placement of these wounds. Even the most basic facts are no longer clear today. Let alone provable. And then we don’t even come near the ‘who done it’. Every single thing in this whole case is disputed. I can’t believe we can ever find out The Truth again.

  • We tend to see Ray and Oswald if we have suspicions as victims of government. I think the FBI etc was right but they were parts of groups and other shooters. Oswald saying he was a patsy means he knew he was going to be a scapegoat. Ruby was needed to silence him. Mystery is why Ruby acted. One shooter could not do JFK.
