The magic bullet theory, also known as the hypodermic needle model, is a communications theory that suggests that media messages are directly injected into the recipient’s consciousness without their knowledge. This theory has been introduced by the Warren Commission in its investigation of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy to explain the events surrounding the bullet that struck Kennedy in the back and exited through his throat.
The single-bullet theory, also known as the magic-bullet theory by conspiracy theorists, was introduced by the Warren Commission in its investigation of the assassination of President Kennedy to explain what happened to the bullet that struck Kennedy in the back and exited through his throat. The theory is based on the assumption of human nature and is not based on empirical findings from research. Few media scholars do not accept this theory.
The magic bullet theory asserts that communication technologies have strong, instantaneous, and direct impacts on audiences. It is based on the assumption of human nature and is not based on any empirical findings from research. Proponents of the single-bullet theory believe that the bullet known as CE 399 shot President John F. Kennedy and Texas Gov. John Connally. The bullet theory, magic bullet theory, or hypodermic needle theory is one of the media effects theories that has failed to convince scores of Americans since 1964.

What is the magic bullet in history?
Paul Ehrlich’s discovery of Salvarsan in 1909 for syphilis is considered the first magic bullet, which laid the foundation for chemotherapy. In the early 1890s, Ehrlich collaborated with Emil Behring, a professor of medicine at the University of Marburg, who discovered a diphtheria antitoxin. This discovery led to Ehrlich understanding that antibodies produced in the blood could attack pathogens without harming the body. He speculated that these antibodies act as bullets fired from a gun to target specific microbes.
However, further research revealed that antibodies sometimes failed to kill microbes, leading Ehrlich to abandon his first concept of the magic bullet. The concept of dyes has since been explored for their therapeutic properties.
What are the disadvantages of the magic bullet theory?
The hypodermic needle model/Magic Bullet Theory has several inherent limitations, including its assumption of a passive audience, lack of empirical evidence, reliance on observation and evaluation, and its susceptibility to influence from the media.
What is an example of a magic bullet in medicine?
Magic bullets, like penicillin and insulin, are medical interventions that focus on specificity and effectiveness. Access to content on Oxford Academic is typically provided through institutional subscriptions and purchases. Members of an institution can access content through IP-based access, which is provided across an institutional network to a range of IP addresses. This authentication occurs automatically and cannot be accessed.
To access content remotely, users can sign in through their institution using Shibboleth/Open Athens technology, which provides a single sign-on between their institution’s website and Oxford Academic.
What is the concept of magic bullet theory?
The “Magic Bullet” and “Hypodermic Needle Model” are two theories that suggest the media’s messages are a direct, strategic, and planned infusion into an individual’s mind. These theories, often credited to Harold Lasswell’s 1927 book, Propaganda Technique in the World War, suggest that the public is vulnerable to these messages due to limited communication tools and studies of the media’s effects on the masses at the time.
The “Magic Bullet” model suggests that the media’s message is a bullet fired from the media gun into the viewer’s head, while the “Hypodermic Needle Model” suggests that the media injects its messages directly into the passive audience, making them a “sitting duck”.
Recent work in communication studies has documented how these models may have served as strawman theories, fallacies, or myths. The “hypodermic needle” metaphor is meant to give a mental image of the direct, strategic, and planned infusion of a message into an individual. As research methodology became more advanced, it became apparent that the media had selective influences on people.
What was a magic bullet and why was it a major breakthrough?
Salvarsan 606 was the inaugural magic bullet for syphilis, demonstrating efficacy following successful human trials. This breakthrough prompted further research into the development of additional “magic bullets.” In 1935, Gerhard Domagk discovered Prontosil, an antibacterial drug that became the second magic bullet, effectively killing streptococcal bacteria, which could cause life-threatening infections.
What is the idea of a magic bullet?
The “magic bullet,” a substance with the capacity to destroy pathogens, is thought to be influenced by the message of the creator, indicating that a particular audience can be persuaded.
What does magic bullet mean slang?
A solution that provides a straightforward approach to addressing a complex issue.
What is so special about the magic bullet?
This compact blender has a 250-watt motor, capable of grinding coffee beans and making smoothies and dips like hummus and salsa. It features a cross and flat milling blade for chopping, blending, and grinding. However, the motor is weak enough to break down tougher ingredients like seeds, celery, and ice. The blender struggles with milk-based strawberry smoothies and spinach-based saag. The blender has a capacity of 19 oz and can accommodate cups in sizes 12, 16, and 22 oz.
Why was the magic bullet important?
Paul Ehrlich’s research team discovered magic bullets, which led to the discovery of penicillin. This discovery was based on Louis Pasteur’s germ theory and Robert Koch’s work on identifying specific germs without harming healthy human tissue. Ehrlich, who had previously worked with Koch on staining bacteria with industrial dyes, believed that certain chemicals could kill specific germs without harming healthy human tissue. This led to the development of penicillin and the development of other natural substances to target infections in the body.
What is the magic bullet theory in microbiology?
In his work, Paul Ehrlich introduced the term “magic bullet” to describe a drug that kills a parasite within its human host without harming the host itself. This implies that the drug must have a greater affinity for the parasite than for human cells.
What is the criticism of bullet theory?
The theory posits that media content creators can manipulate and influence audience behavior, which has led to criticism of the passive participant model of audience behavior.
📹 Joe Rogan Argues Against the JFK Single Bullet Theory
Joe Rogan debates the single bullet theory with Mick West.
I have two main problems with the Warren Commission: 1. Hoover did state that (I’m paraphrasing) the commission should find that Oswald was the only shooter. If this isn’t “confirmation bias”, it will do until the real thing comes along. 2. If Oswald really was just a “lone nut”, I see NO reason to keep any part of this crime secret let alone “classifying” it as “top secret”. Here’s a article that you might be interested in that does a good job of recreating the “magic bullet” shot. youtu.be/PZRUNYZY71g
I’m actually currently studying advanced ballistics and I can attest to the fact that a bullet will DRASTICALLY deform upon impact with rigid surfaces, such as bone. And even in the extremely unlikely circumstances that the bullet passed through soft flesh, as Joe stated, the round would have deformed with impact with the wrist. And even if in the impossibility that the bullet hits no bone, IT WOULD STILL DEFORM when it lodges itself in the damn car. The idea that a bullet would impact into a vehicle in such pristine condition is absurd to me.
While Joe is incorrect about the “Magic Bullet” ricocheting off the underpass, he’s spot-on about how the impact with multiple bones will result in a huge amount of deformation of the bullet. He’s also correct about more bullet fragments were pulled out of Governor Connolly, than were missing from the “Magic Bullet.” Re: The notion of not being able to make the shot with the Mannlicher-Carcano, which was eventually claimed as the murder weapon… What Joe isn’t aware of, is that even the FBI had to admit that in order for anyone to use that specific scope in that specific rifle, they would have needed to use a shim, in order to accommodate the mounting screws. The scope’s mounting screws were long enough, so that when the scope was mounted without a shim, the screws protruded sufficiently into the chamber, so as to prevent the bolt action from chambering a round. The only way to do it without a shim, would be to chamber the round first; then mount the scope; and then aim & fire. Doing it this way would make it 100% impossible to get off more than 1 shot, because by the time anyone managed to chamber another round, the target would be gone. It also goes without saying that the Zapruder film confirmed the kill shot came from the front. That too, eliminates the Oswald-Lone Gunman theory.
Of the several marksmen that tried to replicate Oswald’s three shots, only one managed to do it. Donahue was only successful on his “third” try. So he also has said on record he does not believe Oswald could have fired all three shots successfully. Another point to consider about the magic bullet theory is if this bullet did in fact go through both men and struck bone twice along the way and remained in such pristine condition, should we not expect the bullet that struck the president’s head to survive the impact in similar condition? With that in mind, should not the trajectory be somewhat predictable? If so, where did that bullet go after impact? Should it not have struck the interior of the limousine somewhere?
100% The final head shot came from the front. 1. The Zapruder film shows his head going back 2. It blew a piece of his brain onto the back of the limo that Jackie crawled back to retrieve 3. Jackie handed the piece of brain to the doctor at the hospital. If the shot came from the rear, everything would have gone forward. There were also holes in the limo, a bullet hit under the underpass, bullets came from 3 directions. It was a triangular kill zone.
Governor John Connally’s account of the assassination shows that the single bullet theory is false if you compare it with the Zapruder film. This is something that I really only noticed recently. Connally said that when he heard the first shot, he turned to the right to see where the shot came from. He stated that when he was turning back to the left, facing forward, he felt an impact to his back, throwing him forward. He noticed he was covered with blood and realized he had been shot. His wife then pulls him down into her lap. Seems straight forward, and everything. At least that’s what I always assumed. I figured the shot through Kennedy’s back and through his throat entered Connally’s back, exited his chest, hit his thigh, and wrist. Ok, sounds reasonable I guess, right? I never thought anything of it, until I actually compared Connally’s account with the Zapruder film itself. This is where it gets interesting. The Zapruder film shows that Kennedy was shot in the back BEFORE Connally turned to the right. Connaly, according to his own account hadn’t been shot yet, but Kennedy is hunched forward clutching his neck. Therefore, that shot DIDN’T hit Connally. So where did the bullet that exited Kennedy’s neck go? If you watch the Zapruder film, at the moment Kennedy reacts to the throat wound, Connally’s jacket collar flap seems to flip up. Perhaps the bullet exited Kennedy’s throat, passed through Connally’s jacket collar flap and either ended up in a car seat back or perhaps the front windshield of the car.
If there were more than one in it, then I am sure Oswald was not. The KGB investigation, unknown at the time, found that it was a pro team of assassins hired in the French Corsican Golden Triangle early in 1963 and that Oswald was not a participant. It took thirty years later for the KGB Report (as opposed to the Warren Report) to be found after the fall of the USSR. I can see why. You can’t have the isolated loner story and then also say Oswald was part of a crack team that was extraordinarily successful on the day. The KGB saw through that. Does it mean I know who pulled the fatal trigger? No, it does not. But it does give me ideas. What if E. Howard Hunt’s death bed confession was true. He named Lucien Sarti (see Google) and so have underworld figures in Europe too. His location at the time has not been nailed down and this was just the type who could do it. Would it not be crazy that we now know what happened, but it was never officially recognised, and hence the ‘secret’ is hiding in plain sight? What I mean is this, if the truth came to light, would it ever, or never, be recognised. Truth loses again!
A full metal jacket is meant to stay pristine. It goes in and out. It was created because of the Geneva convention. It’s meant to take a soldier off the field. Problem is… the kill shot was frangeable bullet. Meaning it exploded on impact… it was intended to do the most damage. Not a full metal jacket. The thing is Howard Donahue… a ballistics expert and gunsmith was asked to look at the ballistics from the Warren report and write a something supporting it. He agreed. But as he looked at it and studied it… he saw that the trajectory didn’t work for the kill shot. He deduced that the kill shot could only have come from the back and left… his study pointed to the secret service trailing car where a new secret service man with a newly introduced ar15 fell backwards when the car sped up after the first shot.
I believe the third shot was done by accident by a secret service agent. The secret service had just been issued M-16 rifles. I believe that the agent was trying to get the weapon up and mis-fired striking Kennedy in the head. The film showing the strike to the head and the fact that small fragments of a bullet were found leads me to believe the third hit on Kennedy was from a 5.56 round.
One, very simple argument against the “single bullet theory”…is the Zabruder film. You can easily see, the last shot, was from the side. Also, Oswald was not a marksman. He was rated as “Average” my the military. They really want us to believe, that an “Average” shooter, with a bolt-action rifle, following a target away from him, from a 4th story window, in an incredible stressed situation….picked off the back of a human skull…about 9in. x 9 in. ? Then we have the multiple accounts of people hearing a shot coming from behind the fence on the grassy knoll.
The scope needed to be shimmed in order to be properly adjusted before making a shot; it didn’t get knocked out of sight adjustment from being handled. It’s in the report. In addition, the “magic bullet” was supposed to have passed through Kennedy, into Conleys back, shattered a rib, exited below his nipple, entered Conleys wrist, shattered a thick bone before exiting the opposite side of his arm and lodged in Conleys left inner thigh. People need to read the reports. It’s insane, Conleys doctor clearly wrote how he had to dig the projectile out of Conleys leg.
Oswald was trained and tested in shooting and he scored 212 in December 1956, slightly above the requirements for the designation of sharpshooter. In May 1959 he scored 191, which reduced his rating to marksman….Well, maybe he could have done it. I was thinking he was a poor shot, but I guess not. Also, one of the shooters said he bit into a shell and dropped it on the ground on the grassy knoll, and a bullet like that, with a notch bitten into it, was recovered recently. Some of the best evidence for conspiracy is motive. There was plenty of motive, from some pretty dark and scary people. It doesn’t prove that they actually did it, but they were the kind of people who would actually do it. And it got done.
If we look to eurpopean and north african battlefileds from ww2, we find quite often carcano bullets that seems near pristine, yet they have killed, they have penetrated “something” and yet some of the bullets still remain more or less intact, we see this in alsomst every battlefield from the era, and the rifle used and the ammo used was fro the era, and Oswald was a VERY GOOD shooter
And Joe’s wrong about the 3 shots being possible. Because Oswald is supposed to have fired all 3 in 5.6 seconds. When the FBI test fired the alleged rifle (6.5mm Mannlicher Carcano) they found it took a minimum of 2.3 seconds to reload in between shots. Based on the Zapruder film, the Warren Commission concluded Kennedy and Connally were shot 1.6 seconds apart. Abraham Zapruder’s camera filmed at 18.3 frames per second. Do the math. Oswald couldn’t have done it.
One thing people don’t typically take into account with the “single bullet theory” is that Connelys seat wasn’t directly in front of JFK it was a booster seat type thing that sat off center and I believe lower than jfk so that alone helps explain the trajectory of the bullet more. Doesn’t explain the zero damage to the bullet tho…
I think it’s definitely multiple shooters, no doubt. However if it was the government they wouldn’t tell us obviously, but if the second or even more shooters were not identified they would probably cover it up. Even if they knew the identity of the shooter there is a chance it could have been covered because they already wanted Kennedy dead and just didn’t pursue the 2nd, or that they didn’t want to look weak by not catching the second shooter. There is also a chance they knew of other shooters However didn’t want to cause a panic or have any member of the public to try and apprehend them. I as a shooter both target and game, have never seen a bullet hit 1 or 2 objects and come out unscathed. I have seen a bullet fired in a pupetual loop until it slows and can be recovered, but the friction caused produces a similar effect when the bullet is damaged by the rifling of the barrel. People forget bullets are fairly soft in comparison to steel and that you can cut most with a lighter and a knife, it also is heated when leaving the barrel. When a bullet hits soft tissue it has no problems, if it hits a bone or even just cartilage it sustains damage. This is added to the fact that apon entering the body it becomes more brittle due to rapid heat loss and is more likely to fracture. Including the fact that the basic technology of bullets was far more basic and materials much more likely to be substandard or partially contaminated. If it was a homemade bullet it could be possible but even then is risky, especially when it would have had to had higher velocity to make the shot possible.
What is kinda interesting is that according to Joe, if I understood correctly, the bullet that was found couldn’t have been the actual bullet because it was in too much of a pristine condition, but yet at the same time the single shot wasn’t possible, because the bullet was in too pristine condition. Basicly he’s saying that the bullet that was found wasn’t the actual bullet, but when debunking the single shot theory he pretty mucj bases his conclusion on that it was the actual bullet
There are so many facts I would have loved to have brought up to the two of you during this. I will give you one right now. A paraffin test was done on Oswald’s hands and face to check for nitrates or gunpowder residue. Light nitrates were found on his hands, about what you would find if you were touching things that have recently been painted or wood stained and things like that which is what was being done on the 6th floor of the depository that week. A new floor was being layed. He had no nitrates on his cheek which he should have if he had fired a rifle.
“It was only a couple hundred yards making that shot on a target the size of a human head is easy!” Years ago I hit an eight inch plate at 100 yards with a 1 MOA rifle and was really proud of myself. If the damn thing was moving and amongst a backdrop of thousands of living, animated distractions I wouldn’t have stood a chance. The fact that the target was in motion and perhaps six inches around changes the circumstances drastically. Even if it is doable, saying that it’s “easy” is asinine.
For me, it’s not unbelievable that Oswald was the only shooter. I visited Dealey plaza and the sixth floor museum and honestly the shots were between 50 and 80 yards. Fairly easy for someone who qualified as a sharpshooter. The echo off the surrounding buildings account for any alleged extra shots heard
I don’t know the intricacies of the ballistic analysis, but accidental discharge from friendly fire explains motivations for moderate coverup, insistence on a single shooter and magic bullet theory, justification of continued cover up not wanting to “hurt” the family, so incredibly well. Government actors are happy to blame other people but hate taking responsibility.
#1 bullet Tague and concrete, #2 bullet stainless steel header near front windshield, #3 through windshield, #3 frontal shot hit JFK front throat, #4 hit JFK in rear back much lower than his collar, shall I go on..? #5 hit the grass hit nothing, #6 hits the back of JFK head at almost the same time the #7 hit the front right temple from the front…..yeah there was deff only shooter. SMH
A frame-by-frame examination of the Zapruder film serves as a stopwatch. Based on Connally’s belief as to when he was first hit, his obvious reactions to BEING hit as well as Kennedy’s, is only 10 frames — 225 – 235 That’s barely 1/2 of one second based on the 18.3 Zapruder camera frame rate. The time difference between their observable physical reactions is well within being hit by the same bullet. Furthermore, based on the three shots most people heard and the only TWO shots Connally heard, clearly these men were struck by either the same bullet or by TWO DIFFERENT assassins firing nearly simultaneously, one of whom, according to all the evidence, would have fired only ONCE during the attack. Which makes the most sense to you? Anyone PLANTING a bullet on Connally’s stretcher had to have done so while both men were still in surgery, thus having no idea how many bullet fragments would be removed from Connally, from Kennedy or found in the limo or at the crime scene itself. If a conspirator is wanting to make bullets and bullet fragments match the number of shots witnesses heard and/or the number of wounds the victims actually suffered, WHY in the hell would he plant another bullet in stark ignorance of what other yet unknown evidence might show — how would that make the least bit of sense?? Sheeesh. If it is a conspiracy, don’t the actions of the conspirators have to make rational sense based on their criminal objectives??? And to that point, since the riflings on the bullet matched Oswald’s rifle, don’t you think the conspirators would have been smart enough to have previously fired it into something that would deform it consistent with Joe Rogan’s expectations, if, as he says, “that’s how bullets behave”?
The fact that the top right portion of his skull exploded is reason enough to suggest the shot came from the rear. Entry wounds are clean, exit wounds are not. When the bullet struck the back of his head, that contact made his head bob slightly to the front and right. This was in reaction to the force of that bullet making contact. The same as if when someone pushes you from the front, you stumble backwards. You can see this in the Zapruder film if you slow it down or go frame by frame. This is the first component of a bullet impacting tissue. Next, a bullet travels with A LOT of energy. Once the bullet breaks skin, the bullet is slowed but the energy it has generated does not. It expands, then explodes out the opposite side because energy must be released. I’ve shot plenty of deer while hunting to say that with zero hesitation. Entry wound is always a hole the same size as the width of the bullet (if not a fraction wider for argument’s sake) but the exit is bigger hole. The size of that exit hole being a result of whatever tissue/bone the bullet encounters and therefore the amount of energy expanded and released. But why did his head move back and to the left? Newton’s third law. Big explosion occurring to the front right portion of the skull, equal and opposite reaction of the head would be violently back and left. The only time this large exit wound does not apply is when the bullet encounters very little resistance, as in a “thru and thru” scenario. This is because the bullet does not hit any anatomy dense enough to slow it down for its energy to expand.
The “magic” bullet is not “fairly pristine”. It’s just that nobody ever shows the side of that bullet where all the deformation is. Show a photo of the other sides of the bullet and you’ll see that the bullet shows significant deformation. In addition, everyone who has ever tested bullet deformation in this theory does so at very close range and thus, significantly higher velocity. Not to mention the fact that often, different bullets are used, like spire points instead of round nosed, etc.
The best evidence is the head shot. His head clearly moves to the back of the car when hit and parts of his skull and brain end up on the trunk…….which Jackie quickly grabs up. And this is from a shot behind him? Nope it’s not. The head shot DEFINATELY came from the front of the car. It’s indisputable from the article evidence. It cannot be argued.
As JFK emerges from behind the sign and is clearly hit, within one or two frames Connally’s lapel flips out from his chest, his hat flies up in front of his face and his expression instantly contorts from a blow. One bullet. Multiple computer recreations using mathematically precise measurements over the years consistently demonstrate the victims’ wounds all line up on a direct trajectory, straight back to Oswald’s window. If the single bullet was bogus, it has to have been planted. The conspiracy planting it, if they don’t want to just blow the whole plot and confirm a conspiracy, would have to be certain in advance, of all the following things, that: (A) they have correctly guessed the nature of the victim’s injuries in the limo (B) Connally has been shot at all (C) the bullet isn’t still in his body (D) they can get their hands on a bullet that matches to Oswald’s rifle (or that they can safely approach and recruit the ballistics boys on the Dallas P.D. and the FBI, persuade them to risk their lives and careers, obey illegal orders to commit serious crimes, become accessories to capital murder and treason, and bend over backwards helping to assassinate their own President and overthrow their own government) (E) the bullet is missing neither too much nor too little lead (F) how to get in and out of the emergency ward without being seen or caught (G) where exactly to plant the bullet so it can plausibly be tied to Connally and not have been obviously planted by someone (H) to plant a bullet that while it will look allegedly “pristine” to laymen it is actually in a condition consistent with a jacketed projectile of that make having gone through one body, yaw, slow, and tumble as it hit a second and really started hitting bone (I) it’s worth going to all this complex and risky trouble instead of just saying Oswald must have had an accomplice who got away
Joe ur hunting bullets are made to expand with impact that was a full metal jacket wich u should not hunt with because they don’t expand but i understand what ur saying also there was a different caliber round that did frag in his head that would definitely not be a fmj or a bullet fired from that carcano
Actually Mick is correct… Brandon Hererra shot a ballistic dummy straight in the jaw bone and thru gel and into water jugs (all 1 bullet) and it looked exactly like the “Magic Bullet” slightly deformed but not mushroomed or fragmented. With that said I do NOT believe the official narrative… just happened to catch that article and it blew my mind (no pun intended).
I saw a terrific documentary that showed (or more properly claimed) that the secret service agents in the following car reacted to Oswald’s shot. They jumped into action, jumped out of their car and during the panic, one of them accidentally fired his carbine. It was that shot which killed the President. The establishment claimed that the security detail did not carry a rifle but the show named the agent and showed pictures of him in the follow-on car with a rifle. It was really sad but the decades of speculation are based on the unconvincing cover-up . Its more convincing to me that the government would want to cover up this embarrassing fact rather than any deep corruption. It was a massive screw up rather than a sinister plot.
Lee H. Oswald wasn’t a bad shot. Sharpshooter with iron sights isn’t bad and pretty good by civilian standards. It was also a straight shot, from 6 stories, no wind, and reportedly, was not a difficult shot. When I lived in Dallas I stopped and stood where JFK was shot and looked where Oswald was said to of been. Just about anyone that’s ever shot a gun wouldn’t have a problem making the same shot.
View the film, the last fatal bullet comes from the front. Who could watch the film with a straight face and say it came from the rear? Cmon, this is crazy. Pictures show dozens of eye witnesses running up the grassy knoll chasing the shooter from behind the picket fence. Even if you don’t watch the film, explain how the final, fatal bullet could have came from the sixth floor, hit the president in the back of the head and exit the back of the head.
There was evidence that Oswald never shot a weapon, they did powder test on his clothes and him the day he was taken in. The report stated he had no powder residue, if your supposed to shot, JFK, and then a cop you have residue. Also they have article of a man looking like Oswald in a suit when they were taking him in the room with the FBI. The last part that is weird is Oswald was on a the FBI watch list and was being watched till a week before the assassination. That all on record and everyone that hinted at knowing something mysteriously passed away. Why they said he couldn’t make the shoot, is because of we’re he was suppose to be, and the route of the 3 shot. It has been proven in court in the 70s that there were at least 4 shots. Why they say he could make all 3 shoots is from the first to last shoot, he could make first easy but last 2 shots JFK was no longer visible from were all 3 shots we’re supposed to be taken. That why more that 1 shooter. Being a former marine and we’re you shoot with no scope at target up to 550 meters, even a marine with just a mark man badge with a scope could hit with the shot. But not the 3 because he was out of visibility of Oswald spot after the first round
I normally don’t say this but I’m not sure Joe now the difference between hollow points and fmj. Hollows are used for hunting and self defense normally, they mushroom, or expand out when they hit soft tissue so they become very deformed looking. Full metal jacket on the other hand it a solid piece of metal. It mostly holds its shape. People have don’t articles on this shooting fake skulls with fmj bullets and they looks very similar to the one he’s talking about. Who knows though.
Here’s a question. Why would the perpetrators plant a bullet on Connolly’s gurney? Why does nobody seem to understand that planting the pristine Bullet would’ve automatically negated a single shooter. all planting a bullet does is add a 4th bullet to the events. 1- the first one that missed everyone 2- the one that hit Kennedy’s neck 3- the one that actually hit Connolly 4- the one planted in Connolly’s gurney Conspiracy trying to frame one guy ruined.
Saying bullets do CRAZY things is true I got shot in my car and the 6 shots in my front car window looked as if I got hit in the torso 6 time. But all bullets missed but 1 that went thru the dashboard thru my middle console thru my leg thru my seat out the door at the opposite angle that the bullet was shot.
The so-called “magic bullet” (CE 399) often described as being in “pristine condition” is in fact far from being pristine or undamaged. Even though metal-jacketed, it is severely flattened on one side with a noticeable dent on that side. If the second shot fired struck Kennedy just below the shoulder to the right of the center of the spine and exited his throat just above the tie knot, then where did it go? Given its trajectory it had to continue on to strike Connally while he was turned to his right looking back toward Kennedy, and Connally’s testimony that he was certain he was hit by the second shot he heard confirms this. The bullet entrance wound in Connally’s side was not round but oblong indicating the bullet was tumbling end-over-end. Tumbling is characteristic of a bullet that has passed through a body striking only soft tissue that would slow it down but not stop it. The bullet still had enough momentum to pierce Connally’s wrist and imbed itself in his left thigh. The single-bullet theory is not impossible or far-fetched. It is the only theory that fits.
There also a theory that the kill shot came from the car behind jfk from the secret service, there was doc that said when in hospital that there was bunch secret service in room keeping docs from doing anything they said that they wouldn’t let them observe jfk, when ppl said they smelled gun smoke on floor level is cause when the first shots went off the car behind sped up and member pulled there trigger by accident and there was test done that the caliber of there gun matched the head damage if it was Oswald gun it would habe done way more damage
Carcano Bullet construction is way different than Modern hunting rounds, soft points or FMJ spitzer style rounds. I have a carcano and some rounds. You want to shoot it and disprove this go for it. Ill tell you that it is totally possible for the round to look like this after hitting A few bones. Not only was the bullet construction different it is not as hot of a load as 30’06, 7.62x54r, .303 british, 7.92 mauser or any other ww1-ww2 rounds.
We cannot analogize a potential crazy person stating a common “crazy person” saying that “You are all going to die” which is a factual statement before the tragedy of LV to Jack Ruby saying that “there will be fireworks” who had an actual connection to Lee. All of this is conspiracy because I was not there when it happened or had all the angles covered. It is coincidental nonetheless.
The “magic bullet” theory is completely possible… The 6.5mm Carcano round is very long and it tumbles on impact more times than not. I’ve seen it happen in articles, guys shooting stuff, bullet goes through and hits something 5 feet away with a completely different trajectory. But I do believe there was more than one shooter in the JFK assassination.
The bullet that hit Kennedy and Connelly was not “pristine”. It was distorted. Ballistic tests with the same gun and same rounds being shot into matter that closely aligns with dense bone and tissue showed the same bullets being distorted in very similar ways like the one found in Connelly. Agent Clint Hill had the best vantage point that day as the shooting started. He has said since 11/22/63 until present day that all three shots came over his right shoulder. Including the third head shot. There was no other shooter. Give it a rest Joe! The real question is who gave the order and who put it in motion.
One of my opinions is that the bullet pictured that they found on the Govs gurney was a full metal jacket. The bullet that hit Kennedy’s head did damage like a hollow point. I know it could happen but it would mean that Oswald loaded FMJ and hollow points at the same time. I have shot hundreds and hundreds of guns and don’t remember ever loading totally different rounds in the same gun at the same time. Obviously it could happen but I don’t buy it.
Two things : 1 Oswald, look who he rang from the police station with the phone call. He rang an ex intelligence officer, his one phone call he rang his handler. 2 Jack Ruby in prison was assigned a shrink, who it turns out was the head of the cia mind control program called mk ultra, ( i got this info from a joe rogan podcast on mk ultra)
No, it did not hit a bone in Kennedy!!! after going through Kennedys neck it tumbled and the entrance wound on connallys back was the exact length of the bullet. The velocity of the bullet was diminished and the sides of the bullet broke the bones in connally. That’s why the bullet was relatively in tact.
After the JFK shooting Oswald took a city bus to his boarding house and got a pistol. He then murdered police officer J. D. Tippit, in cold blood, in front of two eyewitnesses. When he was cornered in the movie theater he pulled out the same gun and tried to shoot more policemen, but it jammed. There is no dispute at all about any of these facts. Any idea that he was an “innocent fall guy” is ridiculous. Also, Oswald was brought out to speak to the press the night of the shooting. He was free to blab out anything he wanted to for the whole world to hear. Would the CIA allow such an obvious threat to any conspiracy? Definitely not. Oswald would have been driven hundreds of miles away, killed and dumped in a deep hole as quickly as possible.
@ 13:39, the problem here is that, yes, people heard things in chaos, and yes, the plaza echoes…but when you look at the photo collage of forty something Parkland Hospital licensed doctors, nurses and staff who all are holding their hands showing the back of the head was GONE…and the official story says, “mmmm, nah.”…this makes me inclined to believe the witnesses who were actually there.
The government actually proved the single bullet theory was wrong themselves. Bullet 399 was only missing a few grains and was almost pristine. The government tests on animals and humans cadavers shows more damage than bullet 399. The bullet that hit the human cadavers wrist was mangled. Go looking at the bullets the government tested and you will see.
Gerald Posner wrote Case Closed. Bugliosi wrote History Reclaimed which maybe Rogan should read before discussing it(I have read it and it is the most comprehensive, carefully argued study yet published).Shots were only” a couple of hundred yards “. The shots were taken at 57,75,87 yards. The first shot was less than 100 yards. All three were less than 100 yards, not a couple of hundred yards. Nothing that Rogan says about the assassination is credible.
This has been proved… even the HSCA said there was a conspiracy… fact. There is also proof of women working in the TSBD who saw LHO 5Mins before the shooting. He was then witnessed just after the shooting still in there. Why would he be in there 5mins before the shooting? Because he would have had to have been in shooters nest, as JFK was actually late. I find it astounding that in this day and age, people still think LHO did it. Even the Chief of police in Dallas who told all detectives they were to take no part in the parade safety? Really? Has since been found to be a member of the CIA. Oswald is now known to have been connected to the FBI and CIA. Even Ruby, listen to his interviews, he says, people will never know the truth of what happened here. He asked to go to Washington for his safety, so he could tell the truth… come on please! The evidence is overwhelming. As for the shots, LHO wasn’t a marksman, he would also have had the stress of his action… this isn’t trying it out to see if you can make the shots in the time. There are too many witnesses from too many angles to say people just believed what they were told. The people who believed what they were told are the people who listened to the Warren report. Gen Ford has said he moved the position of where the bullet hit JFK in the back to higher up to cover the angle… he said that to the president of France 🇫🇷 3 other men on the commission, who’s opinion is basically ignored, didn’t believe LHO was the lone gunman, if he was at all.
You know it’s not who..? it’s why! And just think about how much that really changed our history! And even today.. it’s had more of an effect then most realize… Vietnam, the Apollo missions, all that crazy shit that happened after he died I don’t think would’ve happened at all! it plays a part in why we are the #1 most powerful country in the world.. if he would’ve lived.. I believe things would be so much better and different today. It’s still a big deal.
Bullet distortion-damage from impact is not as you claimed all. So-called hard core/ deep perforation Military ammo does distort, just not nearly as much as you claim. Infact, the particular bullet was designed to perforate intermediate barriers before impacting a living target. And, I suspect was modeled off of the famous elephant killing 6.5 Mauser used by Korojomo Bell to kill thousands of them!
There is really no reason to dispute the single bullet theory, sorry: Case in point, Connelly reacts at the exact moment Kennedy’s hands go up to his throat. You can see their reactions all in one motion, same moment. Humanity just love conspiracies! This one will never stop obviously, people will always dispute. However it really is all there on the Zapruder film.
Look at the picture provided of the bullet that was believed to be this “single bullet”. The bullet is soft enough to have engravings of the rifling from the rifle it was shot from but yet is not soft enough to break into pieces as we know they do when they hit bone as explained by Joe Rogan. With that being said it’s physically impossible for that to be the only bullet
Not all bullets get to start it after hitting bone, especially high velocity tumble rounds like from a rifle I unloaded a 45 ACP handgun directly into the ground on a packed down dirt road that people drive down every day and dug the bullets out of the ground, some of them were mangled. Some of them were in pristine condition. I shot an FN 57 at a rotten tree stump. None of the bullets went through the tree stump so much for penetrating power, but all the bullets were in pristine condition.
Hate to tell you, the shots were ridiculously easy, like a 6 inch putt. Pretend you’re shooting, pull the trigger, count to 5, pull again and count to 5 then pull. There u go. That’s the timeline. Also, that bullet is definitely fairly hard. Plus, I’ve seen weird things happen to bullets. Even after hitting bone, a car, a door, you name it. I have seen relatively pristine bullets. And, we only see one pic of that bullet. I’d like to see the entire thing. Joe saying it always distorts is simply wrong.
CE 399 is NOT a pristine bullet. It’s actually kidney shaped, or D-shaped. In the photo of the bullet in the article the bullet is laying on it’s flat side in order to be photographed. But if you see it from the opposite side or from it’s tail you’d see it is an extremely deformed bullet There’s a 3D model of the bullet at about 2:55 in the article linked below that shows just how deformed it is. Give it a look youtu.be/JdBp3TU8r34
There are 3 shots accounted for. The first one missed & struck pavement. The pavement fragment then struck a bystander. In the Zapruder film just after the motorcade emerges from behind the street sign the president is seen with his hands up just a few inches from his throat. The final shot is the kill shot. He’s struck in the front of the head. His head bursts open & his body is thrown back. Obviously, the shot that killed him came the front. I’ve heard some witnesses supposedly said there 3 shots, & some said 4. I think it’s safe to say that there were a minimum of 3 shots fired that day- 2 of wich struck president Kennedy.
Holy shit. Just realised who she was. Loved her articles and I think found out about her via one space time. This isn’t cool. Fingers crossed. Can understand fatigue during Covid for 2/3 weeks after was just super tired. And I have children now, so that’s basically tiredness 13/10. How we’re here original symptoms? And did she have any vaccines?
Didn’t they say he was shot from behind and get the exit wound on his head and from the article where his brains were blown out backwards kind of says he was shot from the front? I just don’t get it how people think he was shot by a single bullet when the back of his head was blown out and they said he was shot from behind out of a clock tower. That literally would mean he would have to wanted style curve the bullet around JFK and then have it come back and shoot him through the front of the head. And I mean look at the way his head snaps from the angle. He was shot by multiple bullet. And he was shot from a direction that was literally the opposite where they said he was shot from.
CE-399 sure it made seven wounds on two men and came out barely distorted and Joe is right that there was more lead in Conally than is missing from that round that’s a tangible or a FMJ whereas the Bullet that hit Kennedy’s head exploded on impact leaving 42 shards of bullet still inside the presidents skull shown on autopsy X-ray photo’s making that bullet “frangible” or Hollow point as most people understand it being called which of course means two different bullet types fired from different rifles and that makes it a conspiracy
I have never heard the idea that there was more shrapnel in Connally than what was shaved off CE399… I spoke to a couple friends of mine today who have extensive knowledge of the case and have decided that that statement is absolutely not true. If anybody has heard this idea can you tell me what the source of this misinformation is?
Best one for me is LHOs alleged shooting of JD. Tippit, LHO had on him a revolver, They found shell casings at the scene that matched LHOs revolver, NOW, 1st up, LHO would have to have been THEE dumbest MOFO on earth EVER to shoot a cop then stand there and empty the shells out of his revolver, OR 2nd up he had the worlds first and ONLY revolver that ejects shells, And I don’t think Ex-marines/would be assassins would leave shells at a scene regardless of whatever gun they were using (Same as with the shells in the book depository) Lee may have been involved in JFK assassination but I don’t think he killed him, he certainly didn’t shoot Tippit (PS, Jack Ruby went for an X-ray and they told him to “wait here” flipped the X-ray on and blasted him with radiation, Cancer chewed him up in no time) Thanks for listening, PS I’m available for weddings, funerals or bar mitzvahs.
When people argue over or state their uneducated opinion It’s a stand off No one wants to admit they’re wrong Since Google everyone acts like they know it all But the second someone says I’m not really into or know that much about the JFK assassination They lost Imagine if people were to just admit that very thing in the beginning
First of all, it happened in 1969 so the scopes for an as good as they are today the rifles aren’t as good as they are today you could make the three shots whether his scope was on or off will never know, but Lee Harvey Oswald was a Marine, and they train at 500 yards or 500 m with iron sights, so 100 yards he wouldn’t need a scope to make any of those shots unless they were over 500 yards
Joe Rogan is wrong about making that shot. The gun was a piece of shit and trying to hitting a moving target would be close to impossible. The scope on a toy gun like that would be off from each shot because the gun itself is not consistent. He is right about the bullets though. They found more fragments than we’re missing.
There were only three shoots fired. Joe is saying that Oswald was the point shooter, the first shooter that lead others to shoot? There is no evidence that anyone else was conspiring with Oswald. Obviously, Joe Rogan hasn’t read much on the overwhelming evidence that Oswald was the lone gunman on 22 Nov. 1963 who also murdered officer Tippit.
