When Does Magic Kingdom’S Tiana Ride Open?

Disney World has announced the opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom park in June 2024. The reimagined ride, which replaces Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom and New Orleans Square in Disneyland, will use the same ride system but with a new theme. The ride is set to open on June 28, 2024, and construction on the ride is now complete.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a rememe of the former Splash Mountain ride and uses the same ride system, though it has been redesigned. The ride will be available for guests to join the virtual queue at 7 am or 1 pm via the My Disney Experience app. Guests can also enjoy lively entertainment and fun encounters with favorite Disney pals during the festive event at Magic Kingdom park from November 8 to December 20, 2024.

The attraction will feature Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis on their journey through a shimmering bayou as they prepare for a spirited celebration during Mardi Gras season. The ride will open at Magic Kingdom Park on June 28, 2024. Disney’s version of the ride will open later in 2024.

On May 12, 2024, during Disney Night on American Idol, it was announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would open at Magic Kingdom on June 28, 2024. The ride will use a virtual queue, and guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app. Media event invites for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom have gone out and will take place from June 9-11th.
