Which Animal Is The Mascot Stormy?

Stormy, the anthropomorphic ice hog, is the official mascot of the Carolina Hurricanes, a professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL). He wears the number 97, which stands for 1997, the year when the Hartford Whalers moved to North Carolina to play their first game. His lineage traces back to Arabian horse breeding programs in Poland and Russia, with a pedigree that includes Negatiw. Thunder II, nicknamed “Dos” by Judge, stands 14. 3 hands tall and weighs over 900 pounds.

Initially, he was nervous of white markings on the football field and cheerleaders’ pom-poms. • What the fuck was NJ Devil planning when he was running to the window? Why was he even running away??? I’m laughing my ass off Also I think the symbolism for Bailey beating the Sharks was a bit stronger than what they were going for E:. Holy shit that second NJ Devil clip is literally fresh lol, they just started wearing those Jersey jerseys

  • I’m not a big hockey fan but I married into a Die Hard Oilers family. We all went to a Coyote – Oilers game in Phoenix and I will never forget it. I stepped outside for a smoke and all of a sudden there was tons of kids getting off buses and then an army of mascots came running to meet the kids. I immediately butt my smoke and tried to get out of the way, but I was soon surrounded by several mascots including Howler, they all gained up on me because of the Oilers jersey. Harmless heckling my jersey and shadow boxing. Howler followed me back to my seat then proceed to heckle my wife by standing infront of the Oilers sign she made. So much fun. I also have to say the American seated beside me sang the Canadian anthem louder than all of us combined. I tried to sing as loud as him and damn sure sang the US anthem as loud as I could. Best hockey experience ever.
