This article explores the connection between chakras and the ears, focusing on the ear chakra’s role in auditory health. The ear chakra is located above each ear, functioning as two spinning discs on both sides of the head. Its purpose is to hear beyond the physical world, receive messages, and receive guidance. The ear chakra acts as a medium for “Clairaudience”, hearing beyond the obvious, helping us hear and process the right communication.
The second chakra, the “Ajna Chakra”, is associated with the right ear and the nature of the sound described. Hearing strange ringing sounds in the ear is connected to the sixth chakra, known as the “Ajna Chakra”. This chakra is associated with “… The Camel Pose is pivotal in opening up the heart and throat chakras, which helps treat underlying problems.
Deficiencies in the 5th Chakra often contribute to physical ailments such as thyroid imbalances, hearing problems, and communication issues. The throat chakra (Vishudda) is connected to communication and speaking one’s inner truth. There are nine ways to heal or open the throat chakra.
The seventh chakra is a “wheel of spinning energy” that swirls around the crown of the head, sending healing violet colors around. The third eye chakra – 5th is a dynamic meditation portal to spiritual realms. It is essential to approach the experience of ringing in a holistic manner.

What does the Bible say about ears ringing?
The Lord revealed to Samuel a plan in Israel that was so shocking that it caused everyone to tremble. This statement was reiterated in numerous versions of the Bible, including the New Testament, where it was interpreted as a cautionary message to Samuel that the Lord was about to perpetrate a calamitous act in Israel. The Lord’s warning was designed to elicit a strong emotional response from the Israelites.
What does ringing in ears indicate?
Tinnitus can indicate various health issues, including high blood pressure, allergies, anemia, tumors, aneurysms, diabetes, thyroid problems, obesity, and head injuries. It is common in war veterans, adults over 65, and children with severe hearing loss. Tinnitus is more noticeable at night due to quieter surroundings. To reduce irritation, background noise can be used to mask the sound. Home care can also help mask tinnitus.

Performing is an art that requires trusting instincts and intuition, but lack of confidence and nervousness can hinder performance, often triggered by past judgments, negative feedback, or criticisms. Childhood experiences also play a significant role in shaping self-worth.
Will anything stop ringing in the ears?
Tinnitus has no known cure, but experts recommend hearing aids, cochlear implants, and masks or sound generators for relief. Hearing aids help make louder sounds, while cochlear implants are suitable for those with severe hearing loss. Masks or sound generators create sound that softens tinnitus, making it less noticeable. These options are recommended for those with hearing loss or severe tinnitus.
What is the fastest way to heal ringing in the ears?
Tinnitus is a common ear noise that can be treated with various treatments. Some of the treatments include medication, earwax removal, hearing aids, sound therapy, masking the sound, reducing stress, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Recent research at several universities is focused on ways to reprogram the brain to diminish the sound and lessen its impact. One such approach is to disrupt the tinnitus network, using electrical stimulations or psychedelics like LSD. This would allow the stimulator to rebuild the normal network, the non-tinnitus network.
Another approach is working with Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. The lab is developing a device that can make the tinnitus sound less important while reconditioning the brain by stimulating the parasympathetic or rest-and-digest-and-restore system. If the tinnitus sound is always paired with this signal, the brain expects the rest-and-restore signal to kick in whenever the sound appears. This Pavlovian approach could help those with tinnitus find relief in the near future.
What chakra is connected to your ears?
The third-eye chakra, our sixth chakra, governs our left and lower brain, ears, nose, and left eye. It is associated with rational thought and can cause headaches, dizziness, and cataracts. Unbalanced chakras can lead to emotional issues like anger, rage, chronic stress, anxiety, or indifference. The crown chakra, located at the top of the head, is believed to be where intuition rests and connects us to all living beings on earth. It is associated with our right and upper brain and right eye.
📹 STOP TINNITUS IN 30 SECONDS | QIGONG | TCM
I used to have really bad tinnitus. This ancient qigong technique brings great relief for me each time the agonizing ringing …
For someone who has tinnitus, there is nothing wrong in listening to these sound therapy. It helps you a lot since it diverts your brain into listening to other noises. What I would suggest to those who suffer from it is keep believing that this is temporary and just continue with your normal day routine. The more you think and focus on your tinnitus, the more anxious you will get and the more you will hear the sound. Stay away from stress as it will help you a lot from recovering. In over a month of experiencing it, I have seen significant improvement that I can barely hear the noise anymore. Cheer up and keep praying!
The sound is inescapable. 24/7/365 noise you cannot turn off. I can’t remember silence. What I would give to experience silence once again. For those who don’t suffer from T, God love ya. It is an affliction I would not wish upon my worst enemy. This sound does cancel out much of the sharpness of my T. It is a blessing. 🙏🏼
I’ve had Tinnitus in my left ear since I was eighteen and blew it out with loud music on headphones. Fifty-six now. I’ve lived it with it so long. For those newly suffering. Worry not, in time your brain ignores it, and you’re able to focus on other things as well as go on with life. But it will always be there in the background. I’ve tried everything in all that time to find relief. Wow, Tinnitus Shimmer. This sound therapy REALLY does offer deep relaxing temp relief! I’m impressed. Nice Job! Young Folks. TURN DOWN THE MUSIC. Believe me, it’s not worth blowing out your ear drums. I was stupid. It took me nearly a decade to get a good night’s sleep. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.
I have literally had tinnitus for as long as I can remember. As a child I told myself the sound I was hearing was the sound of my blood flowing through my veins, the sound of my body working. I am happy to get relief with this audio. It helps me sleep. What I miss is not knowing what complete silence is like.
I’m literally crying right now. Sixteen years of consistent ringing in my ears, keeping me up, driving me near crazy to the point where I’ve thought about asking to be medically deafened and now I stumble across this, and it helps. Unlike the babbling brooks, running rivers and specific noises articles this actually works. Thank you so much.
I’ve had tinnitus going on 10 years, I feel sad that I might suffer from this till the end of my days. I miss life before it, I hope that I can one day see a cure in my lifetime. This frequency almost matches my sounds but my sound is more like in waves, lows and highs. Anyway for those that are just experiencing tinnitus, I can’t say it will all be ok. You will learn to live with it and there will be good and bad days. Days you might forget you have it cuz your occupied and days you lay in bed not being able to stand it. Don’t give up, maybe one day we’ll see a cure.
I’ve had tinnitus for many years now.. maybe 2 decades .. my advice to everyone that has it is that try not to let it bother you as there is NO CURE no matter who says what. Instead, think of it like – as long as I hear this sound, I KNOW I AM ALIVE and it’s great to be alive. You usually hear it louder when it’s really quiet (probably just before going to sleep) so take a positive note and know that if you stop hearing this sound, you are most likely not alive anymore .
Thank you! I was having a panick attack this night because of my tinnitus preventing me to sleep, I found this article and the sound soothed me, made me calm down and fall asleep. This made me feel like I was chilling near a waterfall at night with crickets in the background. You should be proud of how you help people with this!
Battling chronic tinnitus resonating at 13000 Hz, my struggle intensified dramatically when I decided to discontinue my antidepressants. The relentless, piercing noise became even more prominent and persistent. In my quest for a solution, I discovered a YouTube article that advocated for a carb-free diet to alleviate tinnitus symptoms. With nothing to lose, I decided to give it a shot and spent a day without consuming any carbohydrates. On the same day, I took 6mg of melatonin to help with my sleep, not intending it for tinnitus. To my astonishment, I woke up the next morning to find that my tinnitus had drastically diminished by about 90%. Since that day, I’ve been adhering to a strict no-carb diet and taking 6mg melatonin before bedtime. The outcome has been consistently positive so far. While this is my individual journey and might not apply to everyone, my hope is that my experience might bring some comfort and potential relief to others grappling with this challenging condition.
I honestly can’t believe this works for me! I have tried so many “maskers,” but none have ever worked. My tinnitus is far worse in my left ear (years of skeet shooting before ear protection was really a thing), and it is an extremely high-pitched ringing noise. I have high-frequency hearing loss, but hearing aids that help with that only amplify the tinnitus and make it louder. Thank you for this! It really does help me sleep.
Amazing, just amazing. I thank God for having discovered this article. Will try it to sleep tonight. The hardest part with tinnitus is falling asleep. This is exactly the noise I hear in my left ear constantly now for 3 1/2 weeks after being diagnosed with tinnitus. When the shimmer sound started it just disappeared. Thank you, thank you!!
My tinnitus came on about a year and a half ago and it has been absolutely horrible. (Sensitive topic warning), it has been so intense that there have been times I’ve thought of game overing my life. No worries, I’m safe and dealing. It just has been an incredibly difficult road and the audiologist I go to has been so dismissive. “Oh, there’s nothing wrong, it’s just something that happens and you’re in no danger, it’s benign.” I’ve tried many things, nothing makes it stop. For someone with an extreme anxiety and panic disorder, who is already sensitive to loud noises, it is not benign. It is, on some days, crippling and on others it’s just maddening. It’s never quiet anymore. I’m giving this a try with hopes it will help.
Thanks very much for your article. I’ve suffered with T for about 30 years or more and as many people have commented, my sound is very similar to the one on this treatment article. Mine used to come on at bedtime but would usually last for less than a minute if i was lucky. Sine having a heart attack and a quadruple heart bypass last year, my T has been constant and impossible to ignore. I’m shocked to see so many comments connecting T to stress, which was a big contributor to my heart attack and I’ve been as stressed since surgery, having suffered many set-backs which haven’t ended yet. I’m listening to this article now and hope I’ll sleep better tonight, although a current digestive tract infection and chest pain may stop me from sleeping well for another week or so anyway. Good luck everyone and take care!
Ive had tinnitus for 5 years in both ears due to ear infection and noise exposure and my advice is don’t let it get worse with the biggest offender being ototoxic medication which in my three experiences has made my tinnitus sharper, louder and rawer/ more piercing and, although after 2 – 3 months it subsided to a base/ manageable level, each time it failed to settle back down to what it was before taking the medication. Second offender is sudden sharp loud noises which I have had quite a few of but never lasting damage/ always settled back down to what it was previously after 2 – 3 weeks, sometimes its only lasted hours then settled back down (I carry foam ear plugs to go out and if I’m going somewhere I suspect could be loud I also take ear defenders). Second bit of advice is make sure that you don’t have wax in your ears or near or on you eardrum as in my experience multiple times after getting wax out my tinnitus has become almost inaudible (wax removed via an ENT using manual extraction as apparently microsuction is too loud near the eardrum which can aggravate tinnitus). As well using distilled water ear drops put in a glass pipette bottle helps to remove ear wax. I have experienced severe tinnitus in both ears for extended periods but as for my tinnitus now my left ear is pretty inaudible its only when I lay on the pillow is when it becomes louder and bothersome but I can sleep through it, however my right ear is mild/ moderate and when I lay on the pillow it becomes quite severe, although I can still sleep through it depending on how tired I am (I sleep with 9000Hz white noise and a fan).
I’ve had it since my 21st birthday. Shooting outside on a cloudy February day. ENT said the atmospheric pressure had to be just right for the shots to break both eardrums. I’m 71. This is the best masker I’ve found. At last, I can rid myself of the ringing when I’m awake. My ears don’t ring in my dreams. 😎
This is amazing, I been for the last 5 years having the same issue of tinnitus, no severe symptoms but from time to time with stress and neck pain gets worse. I got to say thanks!!!! This noise is helping me sleep and more. I got better rest and that helps me to have better energy next day. Thanks for sharing this. Blessings for all of you guys.
Just leaving this here. I am on the path of recovery. I start to have more and more good days. some of those days were like as if I didnt have T at all. I need to use sound therepy less and less overtime. Typing this tho made it slightly fade in awareness tho but really minor and easily ignored once i move on. I expect a bunch more spikes. but they are less and less intrusive and the duration is also often shorter. I am getting there, and hope you will get better soon as well. Wish you all the best. and try to stay positive. (not always easy but try to find small things that do make you smile even if its for a second or 2)
I just looked at this website about a day ago. My left ear had a lot more ringing than my right ear so I was working on my left. I didn’t notice anything different. I just woke up and I think it’s almost gone completely in my left ear. I cannot thank you enough. I worked mainly around my ear. I did the Apex massage, massaged around neck/gently around the jawline. I really am amazed!! I’m very thankful! 😀
That sound… It’s hard to explain the exact feeling of satisfaction and relief it brings. Perhaps the best analogy would be that it’s like scratching an itch in my brain that nothing else could scratch. It’s like the noise is scratching my mind the way nails scratch the skin, it’s quite intriguing! But in the best possible sense!
I can’t thank you enough for the support and good that you have done to bring so much relief to people with this condition through providing all these amazing sound therapies. Bless you and your team, especially that sound man who creates all these wonderful sounds that bring ease and comfort. God bless you. 🙏🙏
I see a lot of comments that tinnitus is the worst. But it is not. There are lots of far worst things out there. Lets encourage one another who are in the same situation i know its a struggle. But its not the end. We are overcome this. We can live above this. And have a normal happy life. Just look at chris martin of cold play or keanu reeves. They have it but they are succesful people. God bless
This is a good one…thanks! I have been using the bundle for a few weeks. Sound therapy does give relief and takes your mind off of the T even though it is another sound. I have learned lots of helpful things for living with tinnitus from Dr Mark and the group sessions. Looking forward to the app! Regular hearing aids from my local in person audiologist were $3000, $5000 and $7000 (good, better, best) with a comment that hearing aids ” might help tinnitus some” and no mention of sound therapy or any other direction. When I did further research, I found Treble. My days and nights are improving. Don’t give up!
My tinnitus is constant and overtakes almost all other noises. It definitely could get frustrating, like being buried alive with no hope of escaping. But, I can breathe. After all these years, I have naturally been able to ignore it. Even when I am conscious of the ringing, it’s no big deal. I go on with my life.
My tinnitus hasn’t really ever effected me negatively it’s there, but to me it seems relatively quite when Im in a quite place. Living life regularly it seems that it may be a touch louder. Recently i started to work on old tube style radio receivers, and since the frequency of my tinnitus changes I’m actually able to use my tinnitus to like help align them, or tell if something isn’t quite right. I’m also able to make my eardrums rumble/vibrate on command I haven’t find a use for this yet, but I think I’ve found one thing, but I think I could use it for other stuff too!
I can remember the Cicadas being so loud years ago that I couldn’t hear people talking when we were outside dodging them 17 year little monster invasion. This late emergence was the same in numbers only difference is I could hardly hear them due to the tinnitus and it has gotten worse over the years. Thank you for this it is so refreshing and relaxing for a good nights sleep.
Wtf!!, I accidentally found this, as I suffer from this background noise, I spent 10 minutes listening to with ear buds, I can honestly say, the noise disappeared, it did return the next day so I spent my working hrs listening to this, & that night I had the most restful nights sleep in years !, I’ll definitely carry on with the therapy . Thank you.😉👍
Last night sleeping with this for first time. I woke up naturally without alarm & no joke laying in the exact position as when I went to sleep. I am normally all over the bed. I’ll wake up horizontal & pillows all on the floor. I also usually wake every two to three hours. This SHIMMER is my new night sleep med. It honestly never occurred to me that the constant buzzing in my ear was the culprit to my horrible sleep patterns. Thank you🙏🏽
This is exactly what I hear most days, sharp piercing crickets and now pulsating started this week. I just started your program and have a fitting appointment on Tuesday with Dr. Mark. I 🙏 it works, and I get relief. Your my last hope. I have somatic tinnitus and getting worse stemming from major neck surgery fusion back in 09 . I finally believe the underlying condition but nothing can be done physically doctors told me.
I’ve worked with Pawel Jestrebov and Natan Bauman. Both are renowned tinnitus treatment doctors. This freqjency response is suitable for a small segment of tinnitus patients. The response must be tailored to the individual. My experience as an engineer starts in the 1990’s and I devlopedl several different frequency responses for tinnitus. I invented an analog device I called “Rainfall”. It was manufactured until the integrated circuits were disconnected in 1998. That said, our company made digital tinnitus devices until covid hit in 2020.
Good Day Dr. I just found your website and am very hopeful in finding help. I’m writing this message to you at 3:01am. I’m sure you can understand why I am awake at this hour. I’m 65, and instead of hearing the normal sounds of Tinnitus sufferers, I constantly hear what seems like hundreds of chirping birds. in fact over 20 years ago, it was just this sound that alerted me to this issue. I kept telling people how incredible it was to hear all those birds outside!! Of course, they thought I was joking. At any rate, I need help. All I hear is these birds chirping, all day, all night and every day. There is never a moment where I hear silence. Because of this malady, I have learned to read lips exceptionally well otherwise I would be in a huge disadvantage operating in society. Is there anything you might be able to suggest or offer me in the way of help. I completly understand the bounds you are under and I do not want to place you in a compromising position. I am looking only for your suggestions and wisdom in assisting me. May God Bless and Thank You…
Hello! The tinnitus that took residence in my head is finally gone. This is what worked for me. 1) never call it “my tinnitus” because by doing so you are claiming ownership of something that you don’t want to own. 2) Start taking charge of your health. Quit the caffeine, alcohol, stress and smoking. Start to breathe, meditate and exercise. 3)Believe that God can heal all things. Start thanking God for your healing every day all day. Thoughts and words and gratitude have power. Do this relentlessly. 4) Watch the miracle happen. 5) Pass on your experience to help others. 6) Live a happy and fulfilling life.
Thank you so much for this Doctor. This really help me now. I have started having a tinnitus 2 years now. And it affect my entire life. From sleeping, work and taking care of my self and child. I have to deal my vertigo for a week and the noise all the time. This is the exact sound that really same noise that’s in my ear all the time. I have research a lot of noise therapy but this is exactly the perfect frequency I found. So happy now. God bless
I was having a particularly bad bout of dual frequency in my right ear and after day 5 i found this article and it totally blocked it. Totally. Used this for a couple of days with sterilized single earbud phone and its gone away back to my normal gentler single pitch. Thank you very much for this. Also if you are driving a lot the machinery can make your symptoms worse. Use whatever you can to dampen it. Use the big ppe ear defenders as much as you can people and watch your salt intake, drink at least 4 litres a day and keep your bood pressure down. High b.p, salt and dehydration makes T screamingly loud.
Been suffering from T since multiple dental work & loud drills from all my teeth make over few days, thank you for this it helps cut out my inner ear noises, it’s a scary journey, as I never had this onky since my dental work😢if I knew dentists would cause this I would refrain. Keep up a good job it’s helping 🙏🙏🙏
I Pray THE LORD GOD ALLMIGHTY will bring comfort and peace to all us tinitus sufferers, it really is awful and i do so feel for all sufferers, 16 years now, many meds, i thought death was the answer, thought i would never enjoy life again but GOD has given me some healing and i am managing now . Sometimes life is even beautiful again .CHRIST JESUS Can help us If we ask Him, HE is the only reason i am still alive today . GOD BLESS You All, Love from Peter
Reduced my tinnitus to 20% in the first 10 seconds. If I wasn’t typing this I wouldn’t believe me either. I have had this thing for years and just live with it. I randomly happened on this article and gave it a try. I didn’t realize what happened at first. Then it was gone. Like it had been neutralized. My brain had been tricked into turning it down. I know it’s in my brain, I create this, but I also don’t know how to turn it off. This article speaks some language to my brain and tells it to turn the volume way, way down. I cannot explain this. I am just happy to have it. Thank you.
I am forever thankful to whoever came up this………This is the first thing I find that actually works for me. When listening to it from two different sources. Using my TV with the Roku stick and on my cell phone, both sources at once is an amazing experience. I’ve had tinnitus since I was in the second grade and I am now 68 years old. YouTube taking some of the first generation antibiotics that cause tinnitus as a side effect.
Yes, this works for a while but it causes my left ear to ping while masking the left. Good idea not to have the sound therapy louder than your actual noise as it will cause it to compete and encourage your Tinnitus to become louder when you turn the sound therapy off. Gradually reduce the volume rather than abruptly switch it off so that your Tinnitus can adjust, I play this with another sound therapy or gentle calming music like Om So Hum Mantra sung by CHOIR . Have to tailor your sound frequency to your noise frequency and vibration, what works for me won’t work for someone else, we are all different and unique. Experiment with different sounds till you find one that gives you relief. This is just that and not a cure. It’s also a journey to see what we are made of as human beings and about finding ourselves, being resilient, not giving in or up. We are good at adapting but we first have to accept it, make peace with ourselves, and find ways to manage it through support and building our own little tool kit. I get my days when I get overwhelmed and fed up but then I take some deep breaths and think I am not going to feed this or fear it just let it be.
MEDITATION + listening to this is absolutely awesome. Calms your nerves, lowers your blood pressure and soothes the sensitization of the state we evolve to (bad evolving) when we become aware and worried about ANY HEALTH ANXIETY. This is amazing work, thank you. Soothe yourself, meditate, listen to this and relax. When we are super relaxed and in a state of clear mind, we accept vs. fighting and can allow our bodies to what they like. Peace and love.
When I first had Tinnitus 7 months ago. I literally followed Ben amd used Dales music every day. Sadly I needed medication …which has helped so much, last week it spiked but I am coping . Its good to speak to others Who experince loud ringing. I know it can be exhausing being positive daily …but it really does help to speak to yourself with upbeat kindness even when you dont feel like.. my fav thing to do is sing happy songs in the shower. I am glad my neightbours know me well 😂🎉❤
Have Autism was a late diagnosis, I love to research one of my interests, I found out so much, have visual snow syndrome which can feature tinnitus as a symptom not just visual symptoms, OCD, Dyslexia, sensory and coordination integration, this noise when I stop the article is the same frequency of my tinnitus it almost crackles and dissipates slowly away when the article is stopped amazing, helps to sleep and be calm, like a waterfall 😊, peace to all with tinnitus and other problems many of us face ❤
Wow!!! I’ve been dealing with this noisy head Listening to the Bible every night It’s the only way I was able to sleep I don’t think I’ll ever give up the habit of listening to the Bible every night But I definitely love what this is doing I’m impressed This is a winner it has given me relief Maybe I could use this during the day And stay with my program at night listening to the Bible Will it make my decision I’ll definitely be in touch. Thank you so much. Peace, peace, peace
I have had tennitus for over 20 years and what has worked best for me is to keep busy and use Windex Maskers as needed. It does get buggy but that’s the nature of the beast. I have tried all kinds of stuff to relieve myself of the noise but really to no avail. tennitus does not run my world it only along for the ride! Just keep busy, don’t concentrate on it and try to maintain a healthy diet.
I’ve had T since I was about 21, I was a DJ. I’m now 50… It’s worse at night for me, with everything going quiet my T gets louder. This sound actually works pretty well, thank you 🙏 I normally listen to the sound of rain on my Alexa when trying to sleep, it works ok but will mix it up with this n see how it goes.
Thank you for this shimmer noise I have been sleeping to the pink noise for a few weeks now as my tinnitus has flared up. I am not sure why in any event I found the shimmer sound on the YouTube shorts this is 90% the sound I hear i am thankful after 30 years of this and as i am in my 60s i cant tolerate it anymore. I wake up crying in the middle of the wee hours frightened by iti guess with age more fear and anxiety come with this. Your young generation of doctors God bless you all for helping us with sounds that others whom do not know of this would imagine we are crazy. Especially when we describe the sounds of crickets as i have mentioned in another reply i love the summer months and the beautiful sound of the crickets open my window at night its like heaven i thsnk.god for those cricket’s. Maybe God said this is part of their purpose. Also i agree with the comment here do not dwell on the sound do not concentrate on it it makes it worse love to all of usand God bless these new doctors ❤❤❤
I’ve had tinnitus for most of life, since I was a child. I never bothered to ask or wonder why it rang in my ears, I thought it was normal tills people near to me were shocked. Apparently total silence was a thing. This helps a lot, it feels like a pressure relief from the constant ringing, and in a strange way I feel silence, despite listening to the sound.
Precisely my Tinnitus! Had it now for best part of 40 years. I can forget it’s there, until somebody mentions it or I talk about it, then it starts blaring out…. The worst part is that it only affects my right ear, which has basically packed up… so I have the Tinnitus but can’t hear out of that ear……. It was very very difficult when it first started!
I have lived it with so long I would probably panic if I ever had absolute silence. This is close to what I hear but the pitch I hear is a bit higher . It is very peaceful and gives me the sensation that I am camping. I have learned to keep my focus on other things to dampen the ringing but every now and then it is impossible to ignore. This just about makes my tinnitus fade away into the noise and it is very calming. Thank you so much .
Try this for temporary relief; place your palms firmly against each ear. With your middle fingers, lightly tap on back of your neck, closest to the base of your head. You should hear odd thumping sounds within your ear drums. Only do this for about 30 seconds. When you remove your palms, note how the ringing is virtually gone! …it is only temporary. The ringing will slowly return. I wish this was a permanent fix!
My guess is, like me, most people on here worry, have had some form of anxiety in their life, now or in the past, and tend to have a slightly addictive or obsessive personalty (in some aspects of life at least). To me, this is clearly a form of healthy anxiety, we notice something and fixate on it. While it might be there, it is a non issue if we truly don’t think about or notice is, and while this is difficult it’s also totally under our control. So, what do we do? We make our ONLY GOAL IN LIFE, to be super relaxed, to meditate, exercise, laugh, be happy, fill our day with calm, relaxing and mellow things. Avoid things that are negative, that includes people, and really make your only goal to surround yourself with relaxation and peace. Then this, and many of the other issues that worry and healthy anxiety bring, fade away on their own and drift off into nothing. And if it still rings, by all means, let it ring and keep focusing 🙂
I’m playing it through my Alexa and I have it on volume 7 and it’s just started cancelling out my tinnitus noises. I know when mine started. About 40 years ago when I was 6 or 7 years old my step dad set off a firework and it went wrong and was screaming, then after it stopped I went deaf for a few minutes, hours, anyway after that I have always suffered with it. I have had a lot of stress lately so maybe that is why it’s so bad at the moment. People please don’t get a medical deafening, apparently you still hear tinnitus. I really hope there is a cure. I will look into buying this relief package.
I’m dealing with faulty water pipes in my apartment that make a high-pitched, nauseating noise whenever there is water usage upstairs. The situation is horrible for the past two weeks. It is waking me up multiple times during the night and it causes headaches and other problems during the day. They came and checked and said there is nothing we can do. This article is my only safe place from this noise. Thanks to this sound, I’m able to sleep at night now. Thanks a lot. 🙏 I’ll look into moving somewhere else if I can’t resolve this issue with the water pipes.
I did my own research as to what was wrong with me..I had so much throbbing in my head non stop for months..I was so frustrated that I got to experience this day and night, everyday n I took meds thinking it was a cluster headache..I did more research on what I was experiencing n boom..as soon as I played this sound..the pulsing in my head went away in a second…when I pressed pause, the damn thing came back..so I played it non stop now n the damn thing has gone away …I am so relieved…thank you so much… sometimes it’s good to do our own research n diagnose our own problems…
The 4/8/24 eclipse went over my house and tinnitus started within 24 hours and hasnt stopped since. When I was influenced by New Age I heard that Tinnitus was coded messages from Heaven, and Im just kind of going with it. This vid cme across my feed, I had no idea what to expect. This sound is highly effective, nice job.
I developed tinnitus in June 2023 some who suffer from it say they have trouble sleeping but I sleep like a baby. I distract my mind by perusal TV listen to music and white noise for sleep. Camomile tea is relaxing. If I drink coffee it goes to 10 but if I don’t drink coffee it goes down to 4 or 2 sometimes 0 There are ways to get relief. The worst time is late night or early morning in the still night. They have spray to spray babies pillow to make them sleep 💤 that helps with the white noise. Just get your brain distracted. and listen to movies or music. Don’t dwell on it or it will drive you nuts. Good luck all sufferers
Hello, just want to say that i just recently as of this morning have come across your website, have been listening to it since nine a.m this morning, been listening to it all day,and i have to say that it does help me some,it makes my tinnites bearable, thank you, hoping they come up with a cure soon, thank you so much,
I have had intense, high pitched tinnitus for several years now. I developed insomnia soon after. I tried a tinnitus masking guru website and it was working very well UNTIL the ads were waking me up a couple of times between 2-5 a.m. every morning (TORTURE). I’m going to try this since the tinnitus doctor seems to recommend it….however, I think the creator might be the same person as the ad website waking me up. I’ll let you know if I’m tormented again by this one.
Woah! I have a couple different sounds of tinnitus at once but this one is the first one I’ve found that can mask the super high pitched one 😆. I’ll remember this for times when the high pitched component is bugging me. Hope you are all doing well… big hugs ❤. Thanks for the website, I’m sure it can help the difficult moments be less difficult.
I have Pulsatile Tinnitus that sounds like this but at a higher pitch, sometimes in one or both ears. PT mimics the heartbeat, but not caused by what some describe as normal tinnitus. PT is a more serious condition that requires a thorough investigation with Neurosurgeons to evaluate what be a serious vascular issue behind the ears/neck/brain.
I have tinnitus in both ears, and it’s incredibly loud. I had repeated ear surgeries as a child for removing/putting in tubes, and the ringing never stopped. I don’t know if it ever will but this sound made it feel like the ringing wasn’t there anymore. It was shocking and relieving, and I hope there’s a cure one day for this. It drives me nuts.
When I keep busy I don’t notice it. It’s when things quieten down that it gets louder. I have the form of tinnitus that is a constant high pitched hissing in my head. It comes with anxiety and breathing problems. I was told I have a chronic version of it. When did it start? Out of the blue! I was lying down in bed and all of a sudden I got a strange pressure sensation in my head and moments later it began. That was four years ago. I have to say this though, in those four years I’ve never been able to accept it or to fully deal with it. I pray that one day it stops, just as quickly as it started. God bless all and stay strong.
I worked HF radio Command and Control for decades for the USAF. We had four consoles with two speakers each that we had to keep turned up to listen for aircraft to call and for other types of traffic. I am convinced my severe tinnitus was caused by radio noise. In fact, this kinda what we had to listen to for 12 hours per day. This drowns out the ringing in my ears and kinda brings back memories of listening to this for decades.
I have been looking for some type of white noise that helps to drown the ringing out and this is the first thing I have noticed that has actually provided some type of relief. I just started experiencing tinnitus symptoms within the last six months. It has been very challenging as some times it feels like its blaring in my ear. Thank you!
My tinnitus sounds exactly like loud cicadas all the time. When the cicadas come back in the summer its a blessing as long as they are loud it matches my tinnitus perfectly. If you are home by your smart speaker just say “Alexa play cicada sounds”. Volume up to 5. That matches close enough to where i can fall asleep. Strange how I can still hear all the sounds around me at the same time. I still oass hearing tests
I am stunned. I have had self-diagnosed tinnitus for the past 5 years. I haven’t been to the GP about it as there is nothing they can do (I’m in the UK). The moment this sound started, I felt comfortable. Then your website advert started, and the sound dropped, I felt uptight again. After the ad, as soon as the sound started again, I felt my shoulders drop, felt calmer, and my tinnitus is masked. Amazing, thank you
I have this issue for quite a number of years now. It happened overnight. I went to bed on a Wednesday, woke up Thursday morning, and there it was, bilaterally. It has been an issue since. I was recently told about Brown noise, which has helped me a lot with sleeping. I tried crickets last night, but it took me longer to fall asleep. Question….. What is the cause? And what would cause this to start so abruptly? Certain foods seem to exacerbate the problem, as well.
I’m not alone we all have tinnitus unfortunately one day a time then suddenly it’s been about five years or more how do I cope I wander also have floaters in both eyes etc I do it for my parents who I help with chores gardening etc etc as they need help that’s what keeps me going they are both amazing 😊
I hope that these articles actually are helping people. Im not going to lie, my tinnitus has 3 distinct frequencies, and whats interesting about your articles is they do am excellent job of cancelling out 1 or 2 of them, but then the 3rd is hyper pronounced and deafening. Even when turning these articles all the way up, my tinnitus is deafening. Ive had far more success with white water rapids and heavy rain articles.
When you first become hyper aware of your tinnitus, it’ll be present with you on daily basis. At times, it’ll be roaring. I found that it gets far worse when you: Focus on it Underslept Tired Anxious Zooked in caffeine Learn to ignore it. Tinnitus is part of you, so don’t give it any special attention. Just ignore it and with time you’ll forget that you have it hours and weeks at a time. Also, at night, I play either tinnitus relief sounds or rain sounds to fall asleep.
I had tinnitus since i was 17-18(now im 27) funny is it didn’t really bother me at all for like 9-10 years lol, until 2 weeks ago suddenly out of nowhere i just remembered that i had a tinnitus so i kept focusing on the sound and it was a nightmare, for the first 3 days I couldn’t sleep and i had a panic attack, anxiety, stress etc, crazy how our brain works right?😌 but then i google it and saw that many ppl also have tinnitus and i started to accept the reality, it sucks but it nice to know that im not alone🙃 the key is to accept it guys, don’t overthink it, and seek a professional help so u don’t do a self diagnose, cheers🙂
Just wanted to share something with fellow sufferers. I need to play a different Treble Health article to fall asleep each night (“Tinnitus SILK”). Since I have YouTube premium, I don’t see ads, and I can also download some of the Treble Health articles so I can play them even if my internet service goes out overnight. This happened last week, and it was nice to be able to have the 10-hour article playing when I went to bed. One further step would be to be able to pay the articles on a Fire tablet, etc., in case power goes out. I’ll try that next.
I have pinpointed my tinnitus pitch somewhere around the 6500 Hz range accompanied with an occasional faint but perceptible sound similar to steam rushing out of a boiling tea kettle. I believe everyone’s is different. I call mine the maddening curse. I’ve had it since the 70’s. The only thing that works is background sound like soft rain audio or white noise. Looking forward to trying this.
I have multiple layers of Tinnitus. The main sound reminds me of my ceiling fan hum when it has been running for too long. For months I would wake up at night and turn it off thinking that the low-level hum was from the ceiling fan. I would notice that the volume of the hum would decrease when the fan was turned off and for weeks I thought the remaining sound was another fan in the house. Then I realized that the hum was inside of me!! It is constant and it gets loud in a quiet room and sometimes my perception of it breaks through daily noise. There is a second sound that rides on top of that one. It sounds very similar to this shimmer sound therapy. Most of the time it is a steady tone and is infrequent. Occasionally I will pick up on a swishing noise that is in tune with my heartbeat, but separate. Although it tends to be in sync with my heartbeat, it’s separate from the sometimes hard thud of my heartbeat which I mainly hear on the left side, usually after exertion. I have been conscious of my tinnitus for a few months now and I know that it isn’t going to just go away. Some days I think that I am getting used to it and other days, I am very aware of it…especially at night when trying to fall asleep. I now realize that I do need to have some hearing tests and the input of an audiologist. Should I start by making an appointment with an ENT? Thanks!
When my ears start ringing, I cover both ear openings with the upper part of fingers, keeping the lower part of hands on the lower jaw and thumbs on the sides of throught, and hum in a low to mid freqency. Moving and adjusting the position slightly until the hum vibration is felt louder in my ears. 95% of the time the ringing stops completely after 30 seconds. I believe It is the vocal chord vibration sound that does does the trick. No outside sounds work as well as my own vocal chord vibration. I used to just do this at home, but now if I am out in public I don’t care what people think it looks like because it works in 30 seconds. I just tell the person I’m with, “my ears were ringing”, and its no problem now because it stopped the ringing. I hope this can work for others. Peace and blessings to all. 🙏
Everyone says how they wish they could hear nothing again. Except that’s not how it works. Everyone has a slight baseline ringing, so get it quite enough and you’ll hear ringing no matter who you are. It’s your brain’s hearing equivalent of seeing light things when you close your eyes: your brain craves stimulation in that way. So in that sense, those with tinnitus are not missing out and hearing “nothing” is just a less severe version of what you have
Can you guys try this mixture and let me know if it works to ease the Tinnitus. Boil 1tsp of turmeric powder, 1/4 black pepper, 1tsp of ginger paste, 1tbs fennel seeds, 10-15 cloves, 1 tbs of rosemary with 2 dash of cayenne pepper to 4 cups of water. Drink it in the morning before breakfast and last thing at night. Do this for a week and let me know.
I’m not medically diagnosed, and sometimes my ears ring at a high pitch, and more often then not if there’s no other noise, everything seems so loud and and feels like there’s a pressure on my ears, maybe I don’t have it but the sounds help. Tho the best feeling is that second after you turn off all sound and it’s genuinely quiet before the ringing starts again.
Back in 2021 .I was diagnosed with throat cancer .I spent 5 months in hospital.my treatment was hard work and part of it was chemo and 36 radiotherapys .my tinnitus went through the roof . doctors said it was coming from the chemo . The noise was so bad I didn’t think I was going to make it .today over 2 years on its very bad and some days I’m just lost I’ve tried everything .
I have lived with tinnitus my entire life, first noticing it in middle school. It could have been caused by being in a marching band, playing in the brass section with trumpets, trombones, and saxes. Now I am in my 50s and just now am I hearing from doctors who are starting to treat this affliction seriously.
I learned to love my tinnitus. Spend time concentrating on it, the after a few months it gets pushed away. The more you accept and learn to enjoy it. The better your outcome Dont let it depress you. This is a major fault in people with tinnitus. As the brain will create other things like depression, sadness and anxiety. Accepting it, listening to it and treat it like if you have an extra arm that does nothing but dangle there. Aftera while the trauma of having it dwindles away. I promise. And yes i have a savage case . She gets loud lol
Mine in 7 years hasn’t gone away, unfortunately. Woke up one morning and had brain fog and vertigo. I was young, so I thought maybe I was sick or had a viral infection. Took an old Z pack of antibiotics, and the next morning, this insanely loud ringing in my ears. Cigarettes, caffeine, salt, and certain foods make it worse. Already have CMT neuromuscular disease, so it’s been a lot. I’m hoping they find something to cure this sound one day.
Wow this helps so much. Thank you. I didnt have tinitus. My hearing is very good. I make music using ableton and can hear things that many people of my age would not hear. But since playing the new fortnite season yesterday at low volume in one headphone. That same ear now has a quite high sine wave sound now that is a constant tone. It started off like the sea of white noise then progressed in to the the sine wave. Very strange. Listening to this is the first time I have been free from the noise in my ear since yesterday. I feel so much for the people who have been suffering with this for long periods of time. It is like it can send you crazy. I am interested to see though if playing the same frequency as the noise I hear back at it would cancel it out. But I guess that would be difficult as the phase would probably be different. I’m not sure even if it would work in the sense that there is no sound in my ear as it is something in my brain causing it. It would be amazing to be able to work out what causes hearing sounds in our ears and be able to fix it. Some studies suggest vitamin deficiencies. Which seems feasible. Do you think that certain frequencies in a game such as fortnite could trigger tinitus even at low volumes or am I being too far fetched. Frequencies are life. It is what we are made of and I think it goes so deep I even loose myself in the possibilities. Thank you again for these beautiful sounds. This is so relaxing and calming. So nice in the background and I cant hear the sine wave at the moment while listening to this I am very grateful for your work.
I just had a frank discussion with a VA Audiologist who stated tinnitus doesn’t emanate from your ears, rather free neurons in your brain are the cause of tinnitus. Obviously I’m a Veteran, served during the Vietnam Era and have had tinnitus since my service days. However having contracted COVID19 in 2021, it’s volumetric tone/levels have drastically increased.
Thank you for sharing this. I had tinnitus go nuts after a bout with panic disorder + health anxiety. The funny thing is that I have memories of noticing it decades ago but I just didn’t care and now that I care it’s incessant. Slowly though, as I habituate, it becomes less obvious. I’m really not surprised after reading a lot about neuroplasticity.
Just like many on here this Shimmer sound really does cover (maskover) my tinnitus until I shut off YouTube and then it all comes crashing down again. Maybe I will put it on a 24 hour continuous loop and crazy-glue my bone conducting headphones on my head and be done with it! 🤗 Thank your for this great article and the Shimmer sound!
Have had tinnitus on (steroids) for 2 1/2 years – loud incessant non-stop 24/7/365 – hard to sleep – Oh I yearn for quietness! This condition was brought on by SSN – sudden sensorial hearing loss in one ear ( lost hearing g in a split session) – this recording seems to be offering some relief somewhat!
Hi everyone the tough part abt this is in the morning when u wake up😢 unable to hear the birds sing,it’s a permanent sound that u live with and it’s affecting me emotional,my wife is my support when I miss certain sounds and mistake it for sumthing else.I hve learned over the years to live with it ❤ accepted it’s their and try my very best to ignore it.try not to stress about it,bt live a happy life u deserve 😊😅
Mine used to sound quite pleasant, like a very distant trumpet playing a single note, barely noticeable unless the room was silent. It could actually send me off to sleep at night, but about ten years ago it suddenly switched to being a high pitched, piercing electric noise. something similar to this shimmer but higher pitched as if a radio station was off tune. Weirdly, one day I woke up and something was different. It took me about two minutes to work out what it was. My tinnitus had gone, totally. The magic lasted about three hours and then it came back.

Thank you.
