Chakras are energy centers in the body, believed to be our body’s subtle energy system. They originated in India and are linked to love, compassion, and emotional well-being. When the heart chakra is imbalanced, it can contribute to feelings of depression. Chakra healing offers a natural and effective means of managing and addressing the specific chakra associated with depression.
The root chakra is linked to feelings of safety, security, and grounding, while the heart chakra is associated with love, compassion, and connection. Balancing the root chakra can help manage stress, life problems, losses, or traumatic events that can create blockages in energy flow, leading to psychological symptoms such as anxiety and worry.
The solar plexus chakra, also known as Manipura, is thought to present itself on a physical level through digestive problems, liver problems, or diabetes. On an emotional level, if the solar plexus chakra is imbalanced, it is believed to cause feelings of depression and low self-esteem.
In EGMi, the most important chakra to get rid of anxiety and related depression is the base/root chakra. If the Crown Chakra is blocked, one may feel depressed, closed-minded, negative, disconnected, and need to control their surroundings. This chakra houses every known neuropeptide and when imbalanced, anxiety, depression, moodiness, and sensitivity may present.
The Crown Chakra is located at the top of the Root Chakra, responsible for making decisions and having a sense of belonging. An imbalanced crown chakra is linked to a lack of purpose, depression, and mental fatigue. Clear quartz, diamond, selenite, and white stones can be used to balance the chakras and promote mental health.

Which chakra holds trauma?
The root chakra is a fundamental energy center that is shaped by various events, including financial traumas, loss of home or land, and relocations. These traumas can lead to the belief that the world is dangerous and that we are victims of it. This can result in feelings of anxiety, a desire for a predictable life, and a lack of acceptance of life’s experiences.
However, all traumas are a root chakra phenomenon, and the unbalanced root chakra often harbors unrealistic hope that it will never undergo sudden and unpredictable changes. This accumulation of traumatic incidents can lead to a “no” to life, preventing us from fully embracing life’s experiences. This can sometimes lead to escapism and fantasy.
A significant portion of our mental turbulence is the result of untreated traumas stored in the root chakra. Unresolved memories can also transform into physical pains that spread throughout areas governed by the root chakra, such as legs, feet, and the muscular and skeletal systems. By addressing these root chakra traumas, we can better navigate life and navigate the challenges that come our way.
What chakra is loneliness?
The heart chakra can be imbalanced, leading to feelings of loneliness, separation, and a sense of inadequacy. This can manifest as cold-heartedness towards oneself or others, or an overactive people-pleasing attitude. Resentment is another imbalance often found in this chakra, as it can be a heavy burden on the heart when someone hurts you. To address this, one should check their heart chakra, ensuring they can give and receive with equal ease and grace, have a sense of space in the heart center, feel gratitude, sense a deeper connection between all living beings and the earth, express boundaries lovingly, connect with their inner child, recognize others as themselves, feel kindness and compassion even if disagreed with, and forgive themselves and others. By addressing these imbalances, individuals can improve their overall well-being and relationships.
What is the rarest chakra release?
Wind Release is a rare nature transformation that allows users to cut through anything. It can be channeled into Chakra Blades, exhaled from the user’s mouth, or generated with the user’s hands for precision strikes. It can be further enhanced by compressing or layering different wind streams together. Wind Release can launch particles into the air, creating dust clouds or sand storms. Naruto Uzumaki adds Wind Release to the Rasengan for throwing it.
Temari generates wind by waving her Giant Folding Fan, which Kamatari rides towards opponents. Wind Release is naturally strong against Lightning Release and weak against Fire Release. When combined with Water Release, it increases the damage and coverage area of the water. When combined with other natures, certain kekkei genkai are produced, such as Ice Release, Scorch Release, Magnet Release, and Dust Release. Despite its rarity, the wind nature is common in Sunagakure ninja forces, with fans being a common trait among their forces.
Which chakra heals emotions?
The sacral chakra, the second chakra in the human body, is believed to govern sexuality, creative expression, and emotions. It can become blocked and unbalanced, like other chakras. Complementary therapies like meditation, affirmations, and essential oils and crystals aim to heal and balance the sacral chakra. While these practices are not scientifically supported, they are generally considered safe as a supplement to a healthy lifestyle and medical care.
Which blocked chakra causes anxiety?
An imbalanced solar plexus chakra can lead to severe anxiety and affect relationships, potentially causing jealousy and possessiveness. Eastern traditions believe there is an interconnection between emotional and physical health and the seven energy centers known as chakras. However, research on chakras and their role in anxiety development or management is limited. Chakras are wheel-like energy centers in the body that affect physiological and emotional functions, and emotions, lifestyle choices, and thoughts are also believed to affect chakra function. Anxiety can interfere with navigating the world and relationships, so understanding its impact is crucial.
What chakra releases trauma?
The ancient chakra system offers a unique perspective on the impact of traumatic experiences on individuals. Traumas contain specific chakra interactions, such as 2+4, 3+5, and 1+2, which shape the impact of the trauma. When recalling a traumatic experience, it is crucial to pay attention to the sensations that indicate the trauma’s source, which can be linked to a specific chakra or combination. It is essential to recognize that the body and chakras possess wisdom beyond our conscious knowledge and expectations.
Integrating this awareness of chakra interactions and the body’s response into trauma healing practices allows for a more targeted and comprehensive healing process, addressing specific chakra imbalances and restoring balance and harmony within the entire energy system. This holistic approach opens up new avenues for healing and growth on multiple levels, allowing individuals to regain a sense of safety, empowerment, love, self-expression, perception, spirituality, and purpose. Embracing this holistic approach empowers individuals to move towards a more fulfilling and authentic life, guided by the wisdom of their own energy system.
Which chakra makes you happy?
The sacral chakra, located below the navel, is responsible for our physical and creative energy. When balanced, it leads to feelings of passion, joy, and friendliness. The seven chakras, including the crown chakra, each have a physical and emotional expression. The crown chakra, located at the top of the head, is associated with spirituality and connection to the world. A balanced crown chakra can lead to feelings of gratitude and gratitude, while an imbalanced one may result in feelings of isolation and low energy.
Which chakra affects mental health?
The Base Chakra is associated with an individual’s inner security, stability, and mental traits. Its absence can result in the development of mental health issues. It is the embodiment of consciousness in its physical form, which serves as the basis for the existence of all other chakras.
Which chakra deals with sadness?
The Heart Chakra is a vibration that aligns with your feelings, and if you are feeling sad, it is too aligned to sadness. You don’t have to resist it and can learn from it. Emotions come and go, but staying with them and spinning your Heart Chakra wheel with your emotional touchstone will keep spinning. Rest for a moment and let the momentum of your feeling slow down. Then, choose to stay sad or catch the wave of another emotion. Your inner being is well and wants you to be well, so you can trust that you will receive a different feeling.
Which chakra causes loneliness?
The fourth chakra, the heart chakra, can lead to feelings of loneliness, isolation, and depression. People often seek love from others to fill this emptiness, but this can lead to long-term feelings of loneliness and isolation. To change this, one may need to develop stronger heart chakra energy and cultivate a loving connection with themselves. The heart chakra is located in the center of the chest and is the source of love, compassion, empathy, forgiveness, acceptance, and transformation.
When open and strong, it allows for balanced love giving and receiving, positive character traits, and happiness. Conversely, imbalanced heart chakra energy can cause emotional instability, depression, and physical heart problems.
Which chakra is blocked with PTSD?
Traumatic experiences, such as emotional abuse, neglect, or sexual trauma, have the potential to disrupt the flow of energy in the sacral chakra, leading to the formation of blockages and imbalances.

I couldn’t stop crying listening to your story. You are an amazing soul. Thank you for your research. I’m sure it’s a catalyst for so many people feeling bound and hopeless by chronic depression. I have been healed of CPTSD. My spiritual awakening began at the time of my deepest despair. A series of synchronicities guiding me to new possibilities and the eternal answer which is LOVE. Thank you for sharing your story and your love 🙏❤️
I am battling with depression. I feel like I’m working through it. I have happier days, more joy than I did, and interest in things I once didn’t. I stood out on my porch the other day and asked for Universe to come back into my life and heard: “You’re not ready yet.” I shall wait and watch for my spiritual awakening.
I hit bottom on the weekend before Jan 9th 2012. I was either going to end it all or get help and find healing. My puppy walked in on me as I was holding a full bottle of Vicodin and his presence and the way he looked at me made me put the bottle down and I surrendered. I wept for a while in my bathroom floor and held him. Then I took 2 Vicodin to make myself go to sleep with the intention of tomorrow being the first day of my new life, and it was. I’ve been sober for 11 years (since), and my entire life has changed as I worked hard Uber the first few years to heal. I’ve had so many spiritual awakenings and experiences since then- incredible stuff that most won’t even believe. It never would have happened if not for the difficulties I had to face. So grateful today ❤
My senior year was a decline into such a depressed state I no longer felt like the same person. Missed 45 days of school senior year then after graduating high school in 2017 I fell into what felt like an existential crisis, soon experimenting with drugs to numb this pain. I made this journey hard on myself, experiencing benzo withdrawal, grand seizures, etc. I somehow made it through with the clarity I so desperately needed about what this life means to me. I’m 20 now, doing a lot better than my lost 18 year old self.
I was diagnosed with major depression when I was 15, I soon dug myself out of it and started seeing an angel number 222, soon after that, I found out I was pregnant with my son. 5 years later I still see 222 often, I truly believe god and my guides knew I needed my son. I’m currently going through another depressive episode but I believe it will make me stronger and more spiritual and I’m so excited to overcome this hard time. I hope everyone is doing okay, you will get through this, you’re not alone. ❤️
I was in such a dark place, so depressed, cried every moment, present and future both felt dark…just sat around day and night, doing nothing…then had a thought that I couldn’t live like this anymore, turned my life around in 3 months, healed my past trauma, patterns and conditionings, and discovered spirituality, the best thing a person can ever have….
When I had a burnout earlier this year, it really set of my lifelong depression and OCD yet again, and my body and mind just broke down. I was done. I was ready to die. I never felt this empty in my life, although I know how depressions feels(the clinic later confirmed it was a severe episode). I waited desperately for a clinic to take me in. One day I saw a post on Instagram about a tattoo artist visiting the prehistoric outdoor museum I used to do an internship at during my archeology studies. I was so enchanted by his art (mostly prehistoric imagery) that I asked him if he would have time for me, since he was only staying there a few days. This was so unusual for me. I always wanted a tatoo, but wasn’t really sure about the style and never deemed it important enough to spend Money on. Well he said “You free tomorrow”? So we made up an appointment that sameevening and I drove one hour to the museum. He and his wife sat up their tent there. I was still so anxious from my burnout, but they where both so calm and welcoming. I decided to get the paws of my deceased ferrets tattooed together with some prehistoric banding on my arm. He tatooed me the old way with just a handpoke needle, while his wife played the drums for protection. And there I was, sun shining, the wind in the trees whispering, the smell of smudges in the air and the calling drum in my ear. I never knew how important this whole experience was until recently. Not only did the tatoo look awesome and helped me grieving, but both of these strangers gave me some kindness and attention that I needed.
I came to this tonight as I cry tears of broken pain from too many years of abuse and trauma. I have lost everyone I ever loved. I have no real family. I just had spine surgery and I am trying to heal and hold myself together, Tonight I cry. I miss my children so much. I am praying to get back on my feet as I am in an emergency shelter for trafficked victims. I am grateful for a safe place to heal, but I do not know what to do next. Besides look up articles on here to try and seek change. I want to be loved so badly. I want to not be a failure to my children. I pray but I am not sure what else to do. I have to get this sadness out.
My efforts to learn about my brain through philosophy and psychology to heal my depression lead to several intense spiritual experiences recently, I think I met several saints and I was in some kind of state of ecstacy. It came with so much understanding and many tears. I am an environmental scientist, i wasnt religious at all. But I saw the perfection. The love.
Suffering will really transform you into an unstoppable force, that can be held back by nothing to reach its goal. I learnt to use suffering and failures to my advantage to connect with my inner soul and now I have attained 100 percent clarity of purpose. To help and serve using the knowledge I have. It was possible only by daily prayer, meditation, and introspection. Now I thank the bad times for transforming me into this new person.
I clicked on this article because I’ve always been on a spiritual quest to find God with only intermittent success of feeling successful. In addition I experienced a lot of violence in my life but I always managed to stay strong. At 50 I fell rollerblading and have suffered extreme pain for 23 years and still managed to fight to stay strong as possible.. Also still searching for God, healing etc. Even though I’ve received incredible downloads and guidance to inspiring articles like this one It’s been really hard to not succumb to depression. I’ve tried so hard all my life to stay positive through it all but these lasts few years have crushed me and it’s getting harder to fight it.. And my daughter is also going through horrible pain and in fact my entire family has. So this article gave me some hope that I can still receive the guidance & help I’ve been asking for.
She is 100% true, DEPRESSION IS THE ABSOLUTE PATH TO SPIRITUALITY, I struggled depression long time and still struggling, but I am strongly walking in spiritual path. Why??? I found I have nothing to do with this world and its people, things. I know I have everything with God, and Master God sent for us, the sufferurs. Thanks Dr
In my own life when I have stumbled into what feels like a persistent dark hole, every time I end up benefitting. When it’s happening I only feel worse and worse, but I’ve always eventually experienced a big shift or realization that delivers me to a path of understanding or increased sense of personal power. This pattern has been absolutely true for me and I resonate with Lisa Miller’s description of depression as an invitation to inspired life.
~ I was led to this article randomly last night. Just the title alone calmed down my panic attack wrecked system. Idk what happened there, but it did. I am feeling better. Maybe beca of my understanding?. Revelation?. Idk. But a sense of safety just rushed over my body. It did. . . . . … .. .~11th September, 2024 @3:16 am, Wednesday
Wow, going through depression led me to a spiritual awakening. It all made sense, I never was truly alone. If I didn’t go through that I wouldn’t have opened up my heart, I wouldn’t have done the inner work to even see why I was depressed. Opening the doors that were locked, was the key I needed. I know it sounds crazy, but I went through the dark to get to the light. Cliche I know, but it’s my truth. To all my people we will rise, feel the love🤎
I listened to this a few years ago when I was in my heightened state of depression & altho it did give me a glimmer of hope it didn’t make me feel good at all. 7 yrs later I am in much finer spirits & so grateful for my depression I really did see it as a wonderful gift I like who I have become. This the thing: when her depression shattered into pieces bc they found their spiritual son she felt a love like no other. When you hear that knock on the door we should listen, for some this does not come. Where do you from there ….. Has anyone else felt like this.
My dad adopted me … My whole life has felt such a strong bond with him like a blood brother, best friend, tremendous guardian ship we adopted each other like warriors we stood together ups and downs and plenty of disagreements but in the end we had each other. I truely believe we were meant to father and daughter.
I am highly spiritual myself, and tho my life has come with GREAT suffering, I found myself in a lost place, where i started to believe in what’s inside of me, my gifts,. without people telling me. I knew it was my truth, without knowing it was an old belief of our ancestors. 11:35 I got deep chills in this moment. And just as i did, right after you started crying. We are connected, all of us. Jordan Peterson.
Oh my God. I got hardcore chills at the end when she said that night they conceived naturally, his sister. Whaaaat. I “accidentally” clicked on this when perusal another article. I was so meant to see this. I needed this! My depression is this other side of the door to my spiritual awakening. Thank you so much 💕
What a most lovely and meaningful sharing, thank you! Two thoughts come to mind with this talk, one is that God reveals Himself to us that He is “the Alpha and the Omega”. We all have different gifts, but from the same Spirit. We are not left alone. God told us in Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”
What a beautiful testimony to suffering birthing joy! Literally! I’ve overcome my depression through spiritual awakening and have since questioned how many depression diagnoses followed with prescription drugs that lead to more depression and loss of sense of self have done more damage than good. Is there a need to relook at how depression is diagnosed and treated? My son has gone through the same without my influence, he just naturally started rejecting the medication, followed by a breakdown/breakthrough and ultimately discovery of who he is.. It is so beautiful to witness. More testimonials should surely lead to better science? I hope
idek how long i’ve been depressed. i was adopted as a baby. was put on medication starting in the third grade and then sent away to four years of treatment in many different places from the ages of 14 to 18, once i was allowed to make decisions for myself, out of treatment, i took myself off my meds. i’ve have had my heart broken twice now. i’m waiting to feel the warmth from the other side of the door so i may open it and walk through
