Ellen DeGeneres, the former host of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, has been fired after staff members reported a toxic work environment on set. The allegations came after an internal investigation by Warner Bros. Television, which produces the show. DeGeneres has faced backlash since 2020, with social media users sharing posts online accusing celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres, and Piers Morgan of being mean.
DeGeneres is returning with her Netflix special, Ellen, which tackles controversy head-on. She has been accused of designing the set of her now-canceled chat show to be a front for human trafficking. Warner Bros. is investigating claims of a toxic work culture at DeGeneres’ show, and Tom Hanks did receive honorary Greek citizenship.
A conspiracy theory has emerged that accuses Wayfair of acting as a front for human trafficking by selling pricey cabinets named after DeGeneres. DeGeneres and Winfrey show similar results, though lower in magnitude. The ED Ellen Degeneres collection with Wayfair launched in 2015 as a joint venture between the talk show host and the CEO of Burch Creative.
In 2018, people believed that Eric Trump suggested that Ellen DeGeneres was part of a hidden government within the show. The claim that DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, and other celebrities and politicians are under house arrest for child sex trafficking is rated FALSE.
In conclusion, Ellen DeGeneres has faced numerous backlash and accusations, including accusations of creating a toxic work environment and being part of a hidden government. Her return to the spotlight with her Netflix special, Ellen, is expected to bring more light and humor to the show.

📹 The One Where Jennifer Aniston Reveals Dark Secrets About Ellen
Since Jennifer Aniston is Ellen’s close friend, the actress used her time as guest host to share some deep, dark, definitely real …
Anyone who actually paid attention to her show would’ve seen this coming from a mile away. There’s been several moments where she’ll have subtle digs towards her audience members. Whenever audience members would be interviewed and expressed their excitement, she’d do this fake laugh and look at the audience like “take a look at this idiot.” It happened pretty often. I’d definitely suggest going back and perusal some of her older interviews. She constantly displayed fake love to anyone that wasn’t a celebrity and would mock her audience under the guise of ‘comedy.’ You can tell some of them caught on and felt uncomfortable but what can you say on live TV to someone giving you life changing money.
I’m perusal this article and remembering when my daughter and I went to the Ellen show. The first time we went there, we didn’t get in, but got priority seats for the next show. I am black, and my daughter is mixed. When we walked into the studio we were immediately seated off to the back, even though we saw empty seats in the front rows. I didn’t make much of it even though I suspected the reason why. My daughter loved the show and wanted to go back again for her birthday, so we got tickets again. This time when we went into the studio, my daughter was in front of me, and she was pointed to the front row seats, and as I started to follow her, I was stopped, and directed to the back seats on the side. When I told the blonde Blue eyed lady that I wanted to be seated with my daughter, she pointed us both to the back seats. This made me so angry that I wrote to the show and told them what happened. After that we couldn’t get tickets anymore. I didn’t really care, but my daughter blamed me for getting us band from the show. I’M GLAD SHE’S OFF!!!!!
I always thought it was cruel how she would scare people and get such a kick out of it. She would do this by having someone sneak up behind them. Sometimes she would find out their phobias and then present them with what they were afraid of, from snakes to clowns. Phobias are serious fears. You don’t mess with that.
I give Mariah and Taylor Swift props for keeping their cool on stage. If I was totally serious, frustrated inside replying to Ellen’s “jokingly pushing”, meanwhile the audience is laughing bc they are all made to think this is a shtick… my blood would be boiling. I doubt I’d freak out on Ellen but I’d likely start crying
The real issue I have with this fiasco is not how fake Ellen was/is. As I can see through her fake “kindness” a long time ago. But then even I was shocked by the fact that her guests, even high profile celebrities, were being bullied in her show without any retaliation afterwards. It speaks volumes about the power behind her show that even celebrities had to submit. Well, Hollyweird is getting darker the more you dig.
I went to watch a taping of Ellen when I was on a trip in California – as a Brit, the whole experience was absolutely bizarre! We had to show up super early before the time on the tickets, queue in a random carpark, have our photos taken by production staff (no idea what these were used for). Then people were selected to give there details to potentially take part in the show and they were taken off separately. We were then left waiting in a random corridor for hours with no indication on what was happening. When we did get in we were told where to sit, when to laugh, when to stand, when to sit, when to dance, when to react. In the spaces left for ad breaks Ellen completely turned her back on the audience and pretended we weren’t there. The celebrities were on stage for all of about 4 minutes. When the taping was over Ellen basically just said “thanks, bye” and walked out. We were ushered out by production staff and told we had to leave the premises immediately and were not allowed to even look in the gift shop because there was another taping coming it. It felt truly strange seeing all these American women going crazy with excitement and just so over enthusiastic for an experience which to me felt completely hollow and a waste of time
It breaks my heart that mariah lost her baby soon after that interview with ellen. That’s absolutely awful. You can’t force someone to reveal something private if they aren’t ready. The first trimester is always the most vulnerable too. And the way ellen treated the translator is disgusting! It was rude, dismissive and hard to watch. It makes me sad that she had this show for so many years about kindness and compassion and yet she wasn’t practicing what she preaches. Smh. So disappointing.
Not to mention that her background use to be the Jeffrey Epstein island and his home there. Then after the Epstein documentary came out on Netflix and the Giselle Maxwell case catching up on fire, she changed it after people questioned why she had that man’s vile home where all the abuse- both sexual and non sexual- and trauma happened as the foreground of the background that gets the most screen time. That was enough to show her character and the clips of her behavior is just a bonus.
I was so disgusted with Ellen forcing Mariah Carey to announce a pregnancy… I’m personally going through fertility issues and it’s honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever dealt with and I know I would have had a seriously bad reaction to someone doing anything remotely close to this to me. I can’t wait for ellen to be off the air
As someone who has miscarried 2 babies, next time I get pregnant I want to be as private about it as possible. It’s heartbreaking to announce it and then have to tell people you miscarried. What she did to Mariah was cruel. So much goes on in a pregnant woman’s mind… so many fears… You never know when a pregnancy will be viable or not. Just cruel.
Back in 2007 Celine Dion appeared on the Ellen Show to promote her album and tour but instead Ellen brought the focus to Celines son who was only 6 years old at the time, she made a comment about how Celine was neglecting her son because he had long hair and implied that it needed cutting, it’s one of the rare times I’ve seen Celine look visibly mad during an interview.
I remember when she very publicly blasted this one woman for taking two items off a prize table instead of one like she was supposed to, like who cares? All the items were so cheap, like seriously Ellen, relax. She said it was for her sister who couldn’t come and honestly, who would lie about wanting more of your cheap plastic garbage?
I use to be a huge fan of Ellen’s since her first sitcom in the early 90s, I watched it in college. I have a chronic illness and The Ellen DeGeneres show was the one thing I looked forward to everyday bc of the “so called” kindness and laughter, it lifted my spirits. When the truth came out about Ellen in 2020 I stopped perusal her show and unfollowed her on IG and FB. I have lost all respect for this woman who I admired half my life. The show’s contract was up in 2022, there was no way the Network was going to renegotiate with Ellen. They should of canceled the show in 2021 in my opinion. Thanks for all you do Sloan!!!
I’m just going to expose myself here. I’ve hated Ellen for almost her entire career. Ever since she became popular on her sitcom I could never stand her. She always came off as abrasive, selfish and had that obnoxious in your face attitude. Always rubbed me the wrong way. But your killing it Sloan! ❤️
The no eye contact or greeting thing is so weird to me. I’ve worked at giant corporate organizations where upper management had no idea who I was. Totally understandable when there are thousands of people in one building. That being said, anyone was willing to smile and give a polite greeting when you passed them in the hall. It’s just being a person. And sure, not everyone enjoys eye contact. But to instruct your staff to tell others not to look at you in the eye? What kind of God complex does that take…
When someone’s pregnant it’s very sensitive to announce it. Because people announce it too early n then miscarriages happen. Imagine telling everyone ur pregnant and then having to take it back. Pregnancy has a lot of superstitions and u have to wait till like 12 weeks or so b4 announceing it because of the risk of losing it. No one should ever feel pressured to admit they are pregnant before they are ready because so much can go wrong and miscarriages are so personal and private. It’s not ur right to know what’s going on with someone’s body like that. I mean she could have made it like a cute joke to guess if she was but no instead of a cute little skit she brought alcohol to force her. She just did everything wrong here I mean I wouldn’t have been surprised if she forced her way to touch Mariahs belly at that moment to guess. Like that’s how inappropriate she was with that situation
She isn’t being funny when she talks to people. She is actually being abrasive, domineering, critical and terse with her tone. A good example is how she spoke to that translator. People try to laugh it off, or act like it’s just her adorable quirkiness, but she is actually being very condescending and rude. She acts annoyed that she even has to interact with anyone, and not just “normal” people, but even other celebrities.
Are we sure Portia isn’t in an abusive trauma bonded marriage that she can’t easily escape? She’s been quiet for so long. That’s what happened to me for a decade after I got married. With people like this there is zero probability they are treating their “loved ones” better. There are no exceptions, especially for the people in their closest sphere of control.
regarding Ellen’s disinterest in eye contact, I have got to say it does feel very uncomfortable as a person on the spectrum to hear how people much people hate that Ellen does not prefer eye contact. That is NOT to say that she is in any way acting appropriately about it, only that discomfort with looking people in the eye is not uncommon with people on the spectrum. It did not feel good to hear how much people judge a person for not being able to maintain eye contact when there is nothing I can do to change it.
I lived in Japan and the Japanese people are very non confrontational. The interpretor was treated horribly. The Japanese language is very different and sometimes it is hard to translate English to Japanese. Ellen is a two faced person who seems to enjoy making the guests feel uncomfortable. I have never sat through an entire show because it felt very fake.
That Mariah Carey situation is so DISGUSTING of Ellen. I don’t get why these celebrities put up with her sh!t. If I was a celeb on her show and she tried pulling some sh!t like that, I’d be like “Ellen, I heard you had a girlfriend who died in a car accident 😊 that must have been so hard for you 😢 let’s talk about it boo” but maybe I’m just petty 🤷🏼♂️
She literally didn’t even have to name herself when she complained about the chipped nail polish. If she really cared and it wasn’t just her using her fame to negatively affect other people’s lives, she could have just called and anonymously said something about it- or had an assistant call and say something anonymously. That was just hideous.
Chipped nail polish in food service is a health hazard. I don’t think it’s that crazy to report. A week later, as alleged in some articles, is kinda wild. The restaurant chose to do what they did, not Ellen. If I ate food at a place where staff was not conscious of health codes, I’d stay something too and stop eating there.
This should be a lesson to us about celebrity PR. I always see people talking about Selena Gomez (or whoever their fave is) and saying ‘They are the kindest, loveliest, sweetest celeb’ And I’m thinking – you don’t know this person! They are probably an egomaniacal monster. We only see a tiny part of celebrities (even the ones that share a lot) and their images are carefully crafted. Even my favourite Doja cat has a carefully curated brand…despite posing as an every day person. She pulls the kind of shit that Ellen does. This is a big part of celebrity. You have people kissing your ass and doing things for you. It tends to make you narcissistic.
The show was on the way out for a while. She started having a lot of guest hosts, so you could tell she wasn’t that interested anymore. Also, did you ever notice the sort of pleasure she got out of perusal people being humiliated? Audience members playing her games, for example. She’d cackle perusal them. I haven’t watched your first article, so it may have been mentioned already.
Hey Sloan,I’m so happy your doing a article on Ellen DeGeneres, Hollywood Always picks & chooses what, when & Who to Capitalize off of,& been hearing such negativity for long time on how Ellen B Emotionally abusive to Fans, staff,Disabled & whoever she may choose, thank God finally they’re bringing light to This Woman,& Exposing her for The Bully she really is!
Thanks for the information about that horrible lady. I go with my 1st impressions of people and I never really thought she was a very nice person and I didn’t watch her ever and I’m happy to hear that I was pretty much right. I don’t think I could have handled perusal her mistreating people even once. My impression of you is very positive though and I just wanted you to know that. Wonderful job
The thing with Mariah made me so sad . I don’t know much about her but I thought “dude wat if she had a miscarriage?” She had one before AND after that disgusting interview. Wtf! Can you believe how rude and disgusting that is to offer alcohol as a joke. I’m sure she didn’t do it on purpose, but wow, so obnoxious and rude and thoughtless!
Can’t believe that Ellen would be so irresponsible and disrespectful towards Mariah 😒 after everything she’s been through with trying for a baby. As a mother that has had a miscarriage.. which affected me for months. I wasn’t expecting or trying to have a baby and it still absolutely destroyed me, I can’t imagine how it would feel for Mariah who was desperate to have a baby for someone to put her in such a stressful situation.. honestly Ellen deserves everything coming her way.. karma is well deserved for her.. Much love to everyone today. I hope everyone is having a good day and if not. Know you’re not alone and things always have to get better.. ♥️♥️🥰 take care and love to yous all 😊
I thought it was super brave of Nikkie Tutorials to come out about her experience on the show and all the workers of Ellen that came out!!! I’ve seen Ellen so many times in the past and thought she was a nice woman but I can never look at her the same way. Her behavior is strange makes her look like a sociopath! I wouldn’t be surprised…
It’s all in the eyes, her eyes seem to have for a long time had that glazed over, empty look. Even in the beggining when she was first getting exposed I wanted to defend her because she’s a woman and lesbian because I thought hey, male celebrities always get away with being horrible people, even worse. But then I realized, that’s the thing, she’s a celebrity, being a woman and a lesbian is secondary to her, she relates much more to the unethically rich old white men she brushes shoulders with than with the lesbian community. LOL she probably wouldn’t spit on us ‘commoners’ if we were on fire. Gah I despise celebrity culture so much, cancel all these people. Also, although Oprah has her own controversies and problematic aspects, she is infenitely more personable, charming and has much better social skills as a TV personality, like I actually enjoy perusal Oprah Show segments for Oprah.
Good job Sloan! Love your article content and presentation style. As well as you supporting small businesses and showing us your subscriber presents. The endings are always so cute. Of course we don’t know you personally but you have such a humble vibe full of gratitude, which is so very charming. Stay blessed.
ellen also doesn’t do research nor does her team or they just don’t care, they will invite kpop idols to their show and they don’t care to look up culture norms, correct me if i get something wrong but KAI who is a member of exo and superm said he prepared so many answers for questions ellen he thought ellen would ask about their music and once he heard everything she asked he felt very underwhelmed by the ” who is dating” who has a girlfriend” even mark lee told ellen ” why are you always so interested” it made them super uncomfortable even namjoon ( RM) and the rest of bts felt super uncomfortable with her asking about hooking up with fans in korea that’s a huge no no
She’s trying to dig her hands into everything now. She tried doing an “Ellen box” which is like a subscription box. She made a new kids show called “little Ellen” her whole branding is money maker for her not just the show. I gotta say I am never gonna let my daughter watch her show just because I don’t want to contribute to her things lol
When Ellen first started her show I watched it every day and I honestly felt better about life after it was over… she really WAS kind and funny and cheerful and she always put a smile on my face… (also I was really missing Oprah!). But now I’m not sure when exactly I quit perusal her every day or even WHY I quit… probably my life schedule… anyway… I just wanted to say that in the beginning I am POSITIVE that she really and truly WAS the upbeat and funny person she presented to us. I can’t speak for how she became in the last years coz I didn’t watch but I can’t shake the feeling that she was dealing with some very heavy issues in her life as well as chronic back pain which from personal experience I can say that chronic pain just whittles you down to a skeleton of who you used to be. I certainly couldn’t ever be perpetually happy every single day and in front of thousands of people as well. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been for her just trying to keep up with the original format she set while enduring increasing levels of pain every day. It must have been terribly hard for her in that regard and then add personal life issues to that and I guess she just found it more and more difficult to keep up with the high bar she set in the beginning. If the FANS voted her out like it says here then it really must have been WAY past the time when she should have quit the show. I feel sorry for her that she didn’t go out on top. In my heart I know that she really WAS that funny and energetic woman that left me feeling happier every time I saw her show.
I used to work with someone who was a diehard fan of hers. This was around the time it started coming out what a horribly toxic person she was, and all her manipulation was being exposed. That person simply refused to accept it was true, and would just repeat over and over “I love Ellen” and “She is SO funny! You just have to be able to get her type of humor!”” That was her go-to, every time anything was mentioned about something abhorrent Ellen did to a guest on the show. Just over and over, “I love Ellen!” and “She is SO Funny! You just have to get her type of humor, and those who don’t get it, think she is being serious but she isn’t!” It is amazing how easily someone can become a sycophant.
As an autistic/ADHD person, I want to remind people it’s totally fine to ask people not to look you in the eye or not to talk to you unless it’s really important or something. Boundaries are fine even if others think it’s weird. The problem is the culture of fear and the threat around these demands. Just wanted people to understand that. She’s been very problematic both on and off camera and I’m so glad people are seeing this now.
You should do a article on IAN WATKINS! He was a lead singer of a famous rock band who is is prison for child/baby pedophilia. I think more people need to be aware that celebrities can have true dark sides to them. Hopefully as a collective we can stop idol worshipping bad people just because they are famous.
I watched Late Night on Netflix, starring Mindy Kaling, and omg I swear they were parodying the Ellen show😂😂😂 Edit: one scene that REALLY pissed me off was the celen dion interview, where she SHAMES her LITTLE boy for having long hair because bOyS aReNt SupPoSe tO HaVe LoNg hAiR 🙄😤😤 like really? You’re the one that wants to enforce restricting gender rolls?
Why is it that some famous people in Hollywood think that they are better than any human being on this earth because they have a lot of money. I am not famous or have loads of money but you know I am as humble and the most beautiful person inside and out because I respect people and I am at the same level as them when I have a conversation with them. She seams like she thinks she is above everyone and that she is the only person that matters.
The episode where Ellen puts a guest in a make shift ” jail” for taking more then one souvenir. They had it set up. They new someone who was a fan and was excited to be there would break the rule so they recorded them and then humiliated that woman on the show. I was Done with Ellen when I seen this episode. I was appalled that they’d do that to someone. This was before everything came out about her.
I friggin HATE it when ppl say to “get to the point” but I cannot condense things any further then they are already with what I’m trying to say for it to still make sense so all’s it does is just make me have to try to race with speaking the words out as quickly as I possibly can without taking any breaths or stumbling over any of the words due to the increased speed!! It’s not like I want to be using any more words then what’s already entirely necessary as it is lol!! Ugh!! That’s a big pet peeve of mine!!🤬🤬👋 lol!!!
Her facial expression, the downturned lips/scowl, turns extremely prominent once the cameras turn off on her talk show. Literally, I’ve seen guests not give her any eye contact, and grab the “gift” they brought her and practically rush off stage without a single verbal exchange or stare once it was commercial break. She constantly rolls her eyes with her creepy scowl at her crew and nonverbally commands them over with a scary witch-like glare, never smiles or gives eye contact to her audience members, just looks like she’s seething with rage. It was just really off-putting as an audience member who was used to seeing her jovial personality on TV. I recall just feeling really bad for the people who travelled from all over the country to see her, while I was there only because my sister’s friend had an extra ticket and asked me if I wanted to tag along last minute, and that was the experience those fans were getting. What’s even worse was that it was 4 of us, but they separated us based on our physical appearance and half had to watch on the tv at a waiting room. It was just a terrible experience overall, and it was my first time realizing WOW, so this is hollywood, all fake, actors and BS, and we have to act (via prompters) once we get to our seats too. A few years after that experience all the rumors started to turn up and I completely believed it because I saw it myself. It was just crazy to me that she didn’t even try to put up a front in front of the audience members. She was just 110% her nasty self even in front of all of us.
I was honestly quite heartbroken hearing the truth about Ellen. I grew up perusal her show and feeling inspired by her kindness and wanting to be on her show. To find out she was an awful person is shocking and outrageous. I’m so angry to see how people like Mariah or Taylor treated so poorly and not only them but the backstage people who were mistreated.
The way that is phrased people don’t seem to realize that not only did she have a miscarriage before or after that .. she literally miscarried the pregnancy that she was carrying at that moment which is the entire reason she didn’t want to announce it.. now as a woman it’s scary to make the announcement to our actual friends and family.. even more our coworkers or acquaintances because if you lost that baby you’d have to tell your family that you lost the baby.. you’d have to constantly be asked by those who you don’t see or talk to regularly when you’re due which makes for constant reminders of what you lost.. so I can’t even imagine how hard that would be on a scale that’s practically world wide.. it’s so ridiculous.. and sad
clarifying a bit, Ellen has gotten away with “murder”. Does anyone know why she’s still allowed on TV….(or out of her home)… there’s nothing about her that doesn’t scream plain evil. In fact, one of my dreams is to be kicked off the Ellen show, that almost always means That you’re a decent, realistic person who has a great personality. I guess that won’t happen now, but I’m not too upset about it. I soooo wish I and the others she’s abused had a chance to tell her the truth to her face…WHILE staring her in the eye. she’s getting paid handsomely for this, who is the disgusting person (or people) giving her money? She should’ve been cancelled before she started.
My friend got mad at people speaking out about Ellen. She was like, “she’s lesbian, she has to be a little bit mean so people will listen to her.” Which kind of makes sense, but honestly that’s no excuse. LGBTQ is all about wanting to be treated like everyone else; not being normal per say, but not being treated less than normal. That does not mean you can be rude to people that work for you, ESPECIALLY if you’re famous like Ellen. It’s just not okay
everybody’s ALWAYS “sorry” and beggin’ for “mercy….” AFTER they’ve been called out by so many!!! haven’t watched/seen ellen in YEARS!!! in her beginning, she seemed….BUT THEN….she BECAME “ELLLL-LAAAN!!” has happened to “them” all. i LIKED oprah when she was just oprah! THEN she became OPRAHHHH. same with dr. phil…..he became DR!! PHIL!! i guess that’s part of the “fame and fortune” deal. can’t help but think of tWitch in perusal this……
The comments indicating that Ellen had a rule about staff persons not allowed to make eye contact and that she didn’t greet her guests before airtime is interesting. Anyone know if she had the same rule on the set of her tv sitcom? I wonder if Ellen has social anxiety or a personality type that struggles to connect with others, people said she could be awkward particularly off camera (like she rather be seen performing the character of “ELLEN, tv personality ” rather than being her actual self.) It also seems like she was most comfortable when she had power and control over all situations. Perhaps she is an awkward and a rude narcissist? Most people with that much fame, wealth, and popularity are or they turn into narcissists.
I think it’s sad nobody talks about her Xenophobia. She’s had on big Kpop acts who are also known worldwide, like BTS and Psy. And when she’s had them on (also want to include SuperM), she not only acts like they are alien to her (likely be they aren’t from the USA/aren’t famous in her circles). With Psy back in 2012, during Gangnam Style’s big era, she basically has him on at the same time with Britney Spears and he became Britney’s dance teacher. Ellen didn’t even interview him and he was in his moment at that time while Britney was a judge on X-Factor (which may have not been a good gig for her). Then with BTS, who not only were on once, but twice and it was even worse. She asked them if they were dating, which in Kpop doesn’t really happen, since there are rules against it, but also laws in South Korea (until recently I think) haven’t protected Idols from stalkers, and over there, idols and people around idols have gotten hurt by fans and anti-fans (I know a person was poisoned). And the guys tried to get her to stop, let alone she didn’t know these guys, which gives me Dan Schneider vibes. Then the funniest one was SuperM, because they called her out. Basically it was a boring ass interview and when they were asked about it, they said they disliked being on the show, because they assumed they’d get to do fun things like other guests, but they honestly got bring questions. It’s no like most western interviewers don’t treat Kpop idols well (especially the “you speak English so well”, which is usually asked to a idol who was born in an English speaking country, or even more stupidly, a mix raced idol).
So I haven’t watched the article yet, but I really wish that somebody who had worked on her show had secretly worn a body cam so everybody could see what she’s really like behind the scenes. I believe all the people that are saying she’s toxic and awful, but there’s no actual proof of it. I would love to see a secretly recorded article of her being awful.
I used to assess kids and it really sucks when the interpreter inserts themselves in the conversation. One lady decided she had all the answers and didnt need to ask parents, so kids were qualifying for special ed because they couldnt speak English. Its pretty bad to start acting like the quirky interpreter instead of doing your job. She took the focus off that kid and he didnt get his interview. An interpreter is not supposed to take over a conversation. They need to just say exactly what is being said, nothing more or less. Even with the best interpreters things get lost in translation. I wonder if there were any actual lawsuits at the Ellen show. While it does sound toxic, I wonder how much of that was touchy-feely boomers trying to be nice.
Okay I’m not defending this witch, but on the subject of the nail polish thing, that is a health violation. It’s not untoward to complain about it. But really, the management at that restaurant should’ve told the employee to remove the nail polish or not come in while wearing it. It was unprofessional of them allow it.
Her wife even told her to end the show I guess ellen got to comfortable….. at some point she just stoped being funny stoped respecting the guest I think at one point she also wanted to quit but after looking at the paycheque she was getting that’s way she did not quit that’s show business for you. One minute they love you next minute they hate you. I always found her creepy sneeking up on people and scaring them I don’t t find that funny. She always did that. She would make fun of her guest at one point she pressured her guest to telling she was pregnant she ended up having a miscarriage 😕
My problem with Ellen was that she brought kpop groups on of course just to get the clout of having them on there. The last group she had on there was NCT, they have a member named Mark who called her out for continuously pushing for them to say that they, the members, were dating someone when they obviously were uncomfortable and annoyed by the question. They just wanted to talk about their comeback and music, not their love life because it’s not a huge aspect of Korean culture. Like most companies don’t want artists dating until they are later in their careers, not early on.
It was riddled with gargantuan problems and headed by a host that shouldnt have taken up the role in the first place due to social anxiety, snobbery etc. I watched it more for the guests, et news and social observation than the host as with the show Rove in Oz. If a boss is being a shark there shouldnt be any penalty at the employment office or any blacklisting, but unfortunately power structures stick together. I wouldnt work for someone for years in an intolerable environment, but if you have a mortgage and kids some people will put up with all the angst, when they shouldnt have to. Of course there are always those who wil take adv of those who have ltd career choices or people trying to get a leg up in a competitive industry. Its a shame this happened. The one thing in favour of the show is that it had good sponsorship and subsequent giveaways of far more money and gifts than Oprah’s show. However this cant compensate for negligent and abusive management.
I never watched Ellen’s show, and this makes me so happy I didn’t. But also, how are fans of these celebrities able to watch Ellen treat them like this? perusal Taylor get so upset and being super honest on why she doesn’t want to talk about her personal life and Ellen just doesn’t care at all and keeps pushing. She isn’t funny, she’s cruel. People should have stopped perusal a long time ago…
I don’t know if Ellen is bad. But i do remember at one point many years ago, Ellen was trying to use the full weight of her popularity to destroy a small business that she had a problem with because of her dogs. For days, on her show, she went on and on, saying bad things about that business and it’s owners. Can you imagine? It was all one-sided. What chance did a small business owner have against Ellen? She wanted to destroy these business owners because of her dogs. And it’s the ruthless way that she did it. Anyone else remember that?
SHAME ON HER AUDIENCE FOR CLAPPING, LAUGHING, AND ENCOURAGING HER AWFUL BEHAVIOR. IF THEY DID NOT COME TO HER SHOW OR SUPPORT HER, SHE WOULD HAVE LEFT THE TV GAME A LONG TIME AGO. THIS REMAINS ME OF OPRAH’S AUDIENCES AND FOLLOWERS WHO BELIEVED (AND STILL BELIEVE) SHE CAN DO NO WRONG. THIS IS NOT ONLY A REALITY CHECK ON HER BAD BEHAVIOR BUT ON THE BAD, RUTHLESS, AND DEMEANING BEHAVIOR OF OUR SOCIETY AS A WHOLE. PEOPLE HAVE BECOME SO OUT-OF-TOUCH WITH HUMAN FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS WITH THE OVERUSE OF SOCIAL MEDIA. WE NO LONGER CONSIDER PEOPLE’S RIGHT TO PRIVACY OR THEIR RIGHT TO BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY.
Not making eye contact with people is not a crime. Nor is it even necessarily an insult or power play. I hate making eye contact with people because eye contact can cause unnecessary conflict. Remember, humans are still animals and animals view eye contact as a direct disrespectful challenge. As for the other stuff, I don’t know, but FFS, don’t judge someone on whether or not they like to make eye contact. Different people have different likes and dislikes and not everyone lives the way you do.
