The 100 Greatest Magic Tricks is a one-off list show produced by Objective Productions for Channel 4 that compiled a list of the 50 greatest magic tricks of all time. The list includes classic card tricks, grand stage illusions, and even the Berglas Effect, which is considered the greatest card trick ever. Some magicians, such as David Copperfield, have performed amazing magic tricks, stunning illusions, and starred in mesmerizing magic shows.
The greatest magic trick of all time depends on what suits the performer’s character and their unique abilities. Some magic tricks become so ubiquitous they can begin to lose their impact, such as Robert Harbin’s Zig Zag Girl from 1965. Other top 10 great magic tricks include Light and Heavy Chest, Metamorphosis, Cups and Balls, Water Torture Cell, Mascot Moth, and Sawing a Witch.
In my opinion, The Cups and Balls is the greatest magic trick of all time, possibly the oldest recorded trick in history. Shahid Malik’s Vanishing Handkerchief is one of the greatest magic tricks ever, and the bullet catch trick is one of their most famous tricks.
One of the most famous magic tricks is Pulling a Rabbit from a Hat, which involves simultaneously firing a gun at the object. Another popular close-up magic trick is Double Cross, which involves drawing a small cross on the palm.
In summary, the 100 Greatest Magic Tricks is a comprehensive list of the most impressive feats of magic ever performed, including the iconic Beer Production Sequence by Australian magician Dom Chambers, the Berglas Effect, and the classic Cups and Balls.

Nathan: Ah shiz u busted a nut! XD Jack: NATHAN…………, look again. Everyone: looks down. Sees nothing on his pants. Nathan: (mumbles cuz of the liquid in his mouth) hOw diD yOu.. Everyone: :0 Jack: (looks mad still) Everyone including Nathan: laughs even tho he has a random magicians nut in their mouth. Ok saying the fact that Nathan is laughing about a random magicians nut in his mouth just sounds like he’s amused about Jacks load…. . We’re learning folks…
Second penn and teller: What we see him cutting in the background is actually a tv projector and wall screen. So it shows the picture backwards but we see it in normal vision. So all of the cutting over leaves is actually just a article playing in the back. You can see the light coming from the projector on him. The flower isnt a normal flower. It just looks like that and there is a device that is timed to automatically cut off the “leaf” and see it fall to the ground. There is actually just a string that looks like a vine that is getting pulled and it just cuts off that part. Which sends off the “leaf” that was secured on loosely. The timed machine that makes it look like a flower part falling off is then timed up with the article coming through the tv projector so it looks like he is actually cutting them off. In real life he isnt cutting anything.
The rope trick: it is not a rope. It is a device that has locks and joins. If you twist the “rope” a certain way, they will connect together to create a stiff “rope” that will stay straight in the air. So the person very difficultly throws it into the air so it sticks straight up. Then if he wants it to come down quickly with someone. Just twist it the opposite way, and it falls down into the container. There is rope tied around this mechanical device, it is very loosely put together though because they need to twist it into shape to become straight up. I guarantee they couldn’t do this trick without that type of rope there on the device.
My theory on the first one: The “random” person is not random, rather an accomplist. It’s not live either, it’s pre-recorded but they have to practice to get the timing and everything right so as if it appears live and real. The teleportation is simply a trap door. The random person just never gets out of the back stage until the entire show is over.
#10 is easy to do. Pre-record the Hawaii shot. Make sure that everyone in that area the ball will go to is all part of the act to make it seem random so that, no matter who goes up, they will all be “family”. Take multiple shots for any occasion and fake the entire teleportation stunt. It’s complicated but it’s not too complicated for David Copperfield. He has had FAR more complicated illusions.
10) used doubles 9)fake bullets and a bit SOH 8) ropes inner rod locks like a tent pole 7) I could do this 5 different ways (most likely just monofilament and timing) his odd ams/body movement to pull on the mono 6) 3 persons a plant 5) swaps the coin out for a fake 4) uses a plant 3) just nice clean SOH Thr last 2 they explain
The number 3 magician (9:30) uses a very clever trick but simple. He vanishes the ball and brings back under the glass. Actually, he hides the ball at the time of shuffling either in his palm or in his sleeves(you can see he does that quickly so that nobody can notice). Then simply drops the ball at the time of pulling the glass up. I’m not saying this is a silly trick or something like that. But this is actually real magic, all the palming stuff and illusions make it amusing.
the bullet one is a bit hard to explain but I’m pretty sure they just have a built in explosive to break the glass in a bullet shape, and the lazer pointer was way off and shot down at the floor or something when the lazer was pointing in the mouth, and they already shot bullets earlier with a painting and their names on it, and then tried to write the exact same in the new bullets.
I don’t want to ruin it but I know how to do the flower shadow trick. They have someone under the table with fishing line taped to the petals and stems that are taped back I onto the flower they have to practice it, but eventually will got it right so when the shadow on the canvas gets pierced with the knife, the man under the table pulls the lightly taped on leaves/ stems so the fall off
best magic trick i’ve seen in person: A woman is tied up by her hands and legs and is put inside a treasure chest looking box. A man then proceeds to stand on the box with a tapestry held out in front of him with only his head showing. He then lifts the tapestry up to cover his head, and when he lowers it back down, it is the woman who is now standing there on the box with the tapestry held out in front of her. And lo and behold, the man who was formerly standing there is now inside the box tied up. This was all done in real time, in person.
Card Associated tricks are Literally TRICKS where Methodology is better for seeing and pre adjusted for any guessed situations However there’s Real One Straight no curtains, no long sleeves and big over courts n 🧥 Standing Rope, Vanishing before your Your own eyes without a box, without anything is Truly Magical
For Penn and Teller. They hired those cops to lie to the crowd and say that all of that stuff was real. They put out those weird glass panes and have small detonation things in it to blow up and make it look like it was shot through. When they change into suits, they put on glasses with a filter on the glasses to see a certain color better. Their gun has two laser sights on them. One with a red dot sight to make the audience believe where they actually shoot. And the other sight has a color (probably blue laser sight) that they can see through the filter in their glasses, which is actually the direction the bullet is shot in real life. They actually fire off the guns. The bullet land on that black filter wall thing. You can see it hit the upper parts of the filter wall in the shot. The next one is that they put the fake bullet in their mouth from the start of putting on the vests, and hide it until the gun is fired, which is when they flip it into their lips. Just pay attention to all of this.
David Blaine’s was simple yet unpredictable. I have figured it out due to the power of weed. The woman is an assistant, and she never had teeth there to begin with. He had put in temporary white blocks which he pushed back in her mouth when he “pulled” them, like folding a piece of card for all extents and purposes. When he spat them back, she simply pushed them back into place with her tongue.
Pulling teeth is easily done. Planted assistent, the teeth isnt pulled out just covered with black material what he just moves up and removes. As for the spit the assistant removes the cover with her own tongue. I was abel to recreate it with a peace of black tape. The lemon in the cup was debunked by Pen and Teller.
Me : wanna see a magic trick ? Man : yes Me : give me 20 dollars and I will make it disappear Man : ok here you go ( hands me 20 dollars ) Me : ok spin around 3 times with this blind fold on Man : ok ok let’s see what you got ( man puts on blind fold and starts to spin, I immediately start to run away ) Man : ok that was 3 spins right ? Can I take off my blind fold ?…uh hello ??
#1 is the Indian Rope, and the Taiwanese’s is #2: ONLY ONES I cannot figure out. Copperfield’s and those using “audience people” are all for idiots AND CAN BE FIGURED OUT. #3 is just plain fast and awesome with his hands. Copperf is not a great magician, he is a showman who uses illusion & technology to perform “big” tricks. He LOOKS A LOT like the idea we have of a magician, which helps a lot in people believing all he does. Great showman!
If there is only one to explain a trick, then that’s how it was done. Nothing great about that first trick at all. The audience member is a stooge. Either the live feed isn’t actually live, or green screen is used. As for Copperfield reappearing in the back, well that’s the oldest stage trick in the book. They both fell beneath the stage and he simply made his way to the back and up another trap door, while the audience was busy perusal the cheesy prerecorded film.
In the modern era of magic it’s more about camera angles and production planning and editing than anything else. Almost everything else is props and gimmicks and sleight of hand. It’s really cool how there’s this strict culture of secret keeping because they NEED that because we ALL know all this “magic” is not “real” so to not break that fourth wall so bad people stop respecting magic once a critical mass of people just understand it’s misdirection and manipulation and lies, they have each other’s backs. James Randi was a G.
THIS IS MY TESTIMONY OF HOW GOD HAS SAVED ME FROM THESE EVIL PEOPLE AND SPIRITS WHO CONTROL THIS WICKED WORLD. HOW THEY DECEIVE, IS THE SAME METHOD ON HOW THEY PERSECUTE. THEY HIDE THAT BY CALLING MENTAL ILLNESSES RATHER THAT MENTAL (SPIRITUAL) PERSECUTION. WE ARE IN ARMAGEDDON, WHICH IS MENTAL BATTLE. The Holy Bible is God’s words. God reveals His words through His servants the prophets. The prophets who wrote the Holy Bible and saw visions were inspired by the power of the Holy Spirit. The works of the Holy Spirit will bring your mind to the Holy Bible, convict that you are a sinner and need a Savior and most of all does not pretend, lies and force you to do things. God created us with freedom. Most of the people in our society today are being control by these evil spirits (counterfeit holy spirits) through this mind control game. The counterfeit holy spirits will dictate your mind outside the Holy Bible, giving you thoughts that is not in harmony with God’s word and can manipulate human thoughts and feelings to do satan’s will. Beware that this counterfeit holy spirit uses both some truths and errors when they tempt you to do something. It is very important that you pray to Our Lord Jesus Christ without ceasing to protect your mind from these counterfeit holy spirits that can give you thoughts of doubts and confusion and the spirit of fear. Only through the words of God, prayers and the power of the Holy Spirit we can defeat these evil spirits, demons, and devils’s temptation, not in our own strength.
Today’s DAD JOKE: What do you call a dog that can do magic tricks? A Labracadabrador! Our every deed is recorded in our blood creating a spiritual record of our good and evil deeds (1John5:8 KJV). Jesus Christ is, GOD the Son, manifested in the flesh (1Tim3:16 King James Version) as the perfect man living without sin and obedient to GOD, the Father. 2,000 years ago, Christ shed His blood to TRANSFER His list of good deeds onto our record through our shared red blood (Col1:14; Col1:20; Rom5:9; Heb10:19; Rom3:25 “Whom GOD hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood..”; Rev1:5; Isai64:6).
