You speak the truth. I went to a reader and he was real he knew details about me not even my close friends knew. Long story short I have demons inside me now that we’re not inside before. Same thing happened to me. I went to a lady who read tarot cards. The lady literally had a line of 15 people waiting outside for their reading. I had never believed in this stuff, but a friend who was an atheist convinced me. I made sure to stay quiet and not tell anyone my business. I know in my heart my friend didnt say anything to the tarot lady, she wasnt that kind of person. So i went in, there was a big desk between us. I think the lady asked for my name, not sure cuz it was abt 15 yrs ago. She then told me super specific things abt my life that no one would’ve known. She told me things I had done and exactly the situation i was in at the moment, which wasnt ur average situation. I was left with my mouth open. She didnt ask questions or said stupid things that fit anybody’s life. It was specific. Before giving my life to Christ I would see tarot card readers and palm readers, and I watched tarot card readings on YouTube daily. I studied astrology and did readings for friends. I grew up in a Christian household but didn’t take the teachings with me. I didn’t see the harm in new age practices until God opened my eyes. If you’re using new age means to get answers you’re not trusting in the Lord. But I also have to be honest and say that since giving my life to Christ I feel like God rarely answers me when I ask for advice. He answers prayers when I ask for specific things. But I feel like my life has been going around in circles and I have been continuously praying and asking for clear direction, never getting answers of any kind. I trust him, I believe he knows what is best and is always good. He answers many of my other prayers, I know he hears me and loves me. But I wonder why he never answers on this one issue. I’m trying this new age thing but if I’m being blunt it’s so corny and lowkey embarrassing also tedious. The amount of steps some of these rituals take put me off. It puts me off as much as going to church. I hate time consumption on things that feel boring. Expect for work cus I’m getting paid for that lol. Thought I’d share my 2cents on the subject.
In 2015, I was going through a really bad situation in my life and turned to these cards because I felt as if God wasn’t speaking to me. I believed blindly in the words or readings given in the cards I picked then, which made me stay on in really toxic situations with people (narcissistic sociopaths) who just wanted to use me and could not care less if I destroyed myself. In 2018, I started getting really sick of all the emotional and spiritual bondage I was putting myself into even while I attended a Korean Presbyterian church. I didn’t stop turning to these card readings immediately, but gradually, I was realizing the Barnum effect fallacy I was giving into by believing these readings were more than chance or such. By the time COVID had hit, these cards became a distant thing of the past, and now in 2024, I have none of these decks of cards and do not have any inclination to use any deck or even consult a psychic. God created us to seek Him, and to find our reason as an anchor in times of uncertainty, and as I disposed of them all, I felt true freedom.
See I been trying to tell the mother of my children this & she is not listening. She keeps playing with these cards & she is opening up doors she doesn’t know about & she recently just loss one of her kids dad. Seem like bad things is happening to her. Her car is broke down all types of stuff. I have to ask the Lord to protect me from any door she has open with those cards.

When you seek other mediums away from God almighty you chase away the presence of God and invite the presence of the devil in your life. Check out all the people that did this in the bible they were punished for it. I.e. Saul etc . Many innocent are led away because of lack of knowledge too. I think people get the totally wrong misconception of Tarot. Tarot is meant to accompany astrology. Astrology is a big part of tarot. Every card has a planet and/or zodiac attached to it. I only do readings for myself not for others. Its a way of giving me some guidance and some advice on how to progress through a specific situation in my life going on at that time. It’s not supposed to be taken 100% literally. It’s hard to explain. Some people use tarot in a negative way, but then others use it in a very positive way. We all have free will at the end of the day. Just remember you chose to have the tarot reading, you chose to enter that realm without doing your research first. So don’t cry about demons and being a victim if you aren’t going to have discernment and maturity beforehand.

I needed to hear this. I feel like God has been trying to pull me closer to him but I pulled myself away out of fear. But when I was going thru relationship problems I didn’t go to Jesus about it I went to tarot card readings and trying to figure out what this person is thinking and stuff and it’s like you’re making a god out of the tarot cards. Tarot is harmless. Its the person who choses between right and wrong. Also i dont trust a person who tells you their opinion in such a way. Thats oppression. We all choose between right and wrong. I chose to read tarot. The devil card is just saying there is an attachment to something, possible trauma, the card might look scary but the message is not. Also tarot is personal, i agree there are readers who just want to make money.
A tarot card reading told me to let go of a person I was in love with because they aren’t on my spiritual path. They do spell work and have a negative perception of God. I however don’t. Good to hear from another point of view. As a reader myself the cards are used as a tool. There’s no magical powers they possess. It comes from the reader. We connect to the source. And the cards aren’t demonic lol. If you actually look at the image of the cards you will see Christianity symbols. God gave all of us powers to have the ability to see things (intuitive intuition). I feel much closer to God using my cards and developing my abilities then when I grew up in the church.
No one should ever use tarot cards to make any decisions!!! Nor use them for guidance for life decisions! In my opinion tarot cards are just a deck of cards with tons of animation that you may think is spiritual but I would not take these things too seriously. I have played with them myself and would read peoples tarots and they would also be blown away by their readings. Also when I would shuffle the deck I would end up with the same cards I had drawn up previously. I really did not know what to make of it but I ended up getting rid of the cards eventually because I couldn’t figure out if they were that bad. What I can tell you is be careful and don’t get so carried away with these cards if you do have them don’t believe so much in them educate yourself about what each card means and that’s about as far as you should get, don’t go all in.

People here are going to disagree with me but here it goes. I do my own readings and have donr readings for others from time to time, since 13. I’m 53 now. I dont do readings often or do them to get anything from them besides another persspective. I’ve never called on spirits or demons or believed that anything other than my subconscious mind that I believe is connected to others subconscious minds and God. I have always believed it is a bridge between the conscious and subconscious. I am a a Christian and pray before every reading. I dont give them more credit than the power of prayer and it is not done for the same reason as prayer. I believe if you are doing them to get help from a spirit other than your own or worse going in to them thinking you are asking for help from a demon than not only are you opening yourself to attack, you are willfully sinning. Tge same could be said for anything. I see the tarot as I see dreams. The subconscious speaks through symbols ets it’s a different language that most Christians ignore and even fear. They ignore everything about dreams in the Bible as well. I see it as using a tool with the gifts God gave us, dreams, intuition and a brain and a heart. In Acts they drew lots to decide on what land would be given to those who were choosing who got what. Did God tell them through prayer who should get what? No. The decision was communicated through the lots. I see no difference. My belief is it depends on your underlying belief and approach to the Tarot that determines if it is against God or not.

I disagree sir. I have had great fortune because of tarot cards. Yes I am a card carrying member of the satanic temple, in practice not politics. And respect you for your beliefs, it is your perspective. I believe in this. A different way. You’re wrong about a few things here most people don’t go towards tarot for answers about themselves most people have a loved one who left unrequited love and they are dying for that person to come back because they just can’t live without them and God isn’t giving them answers and also how could God let something so horrible happened to them anyway so they abandoned their faith people who are already believers will abandon their faith when they don’t understand why God won’t reunite their family, why God allows their children to be taken away and their families to turn against them and cast them out.
I know too much about tarot cards because there were two times in my life when I sought readings. I totally repent of those readings now. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and my Life. But I also want to point out that most churches do not have prophets. Pastors are not available for personal ministry between Sunday sermons. Attempts to communicate go unanswered. There is emptiness and many Christians do not receive prophetic dreams or words of knowledge about their purpose. The gifts are not operating in the churches. I got all the way to the end feeling vindicated. I’m not a tarot reader, but I have been perusal. While I was perusal I had nothing but questions that contradicted the whole method. Because I walk in the power of Jesus Christ I was aware of things coming towards us that non of these tarot readers were mentioning. Or how they only focus on trivial subjects. The book of Revelations is way more prophetic than tarot readers. Which led me to believe that they are surrounded by unclean spirits. That’s when I knew that tarot was demonic. Learning what symbols mean is not demonic. Just so you know, reading the summary of each card is not learning what the symbols mean. You should try learning what symbols mean, and become symbol literate. You are illiterate, and you won’t know what you are talking about until you become literate. I unfollowed all tarot readers on here and on TikTok. My life got severely confusing and it turned almost delusional perusal these readings online. The people look so sweet and innocent but they don’t realize they are being decieved.
