Here’s a theory what if the reason no other devil knew about the AMD is because he was born in the human world from a demon family that escaped the demon world and ended up revolting against the other demons and were killed for their betrayal and that’s where the AMD’s hatred towards other devils came from. Also what if after swearing to kill all other demons the AMD made a pact with asta’s family where he’d protect asta and use him to help destroy the demon king.
The way Asta’s devil talks to him shows that the devil is not part of the grimoire but a different manifestation just like the spirits are. I believe that the Anti-Magic Devil was born into Asta rather that the devil possessing the Grimoire. Also in the recent chapters, the history of Yuno doesn’t show any other children being dropped off at the church in those flashbacks. This means that Asta’s origins and where he came from is unknown.
Imagine Asta “ending” the Magic World by somehow using his Antimagic on every single being, literally deleting the mana and magic, which would make the World a better place. I just recently watched a theory on this and I just wanted to hear others opinions. Does anyone else think that forbidden magic / demon magic stops you from aging? Nero hasn’t aged in over 500 years and from yunos memories in chapter 238 it doesn’t look like Zenon has aged much even though it has been 17 years. Also, Asta hasn’t grown any since he was 15, like his muscles have but not in height (but this can probably be debunked by the information from Gordon’s father but idk). Also in the character profile for zenon, his age is purposely left out while the other new characters ages are given.

This is all very interesting an I like how some of the theories make sense. But I have a possible idea for a theory. You know how you said that the demon’s name might be Roth so when it combines with Asta’s name it becomes Astaroth, and it might be possible that Asta might be from the other world? Well I was thinking what if Asta and the AMD are actually two sides of the same coin. What I mean is that it is possible that Asta and the AMD are on in the same but while Asta is the Asta we know the AMD is actually Asta’s more violent and vengeful side that was separated somehow thus leave both personalities weakened; Asta not being able to use magic while the AMD was no longer whole thus becoming a “Nobody” and an incomplete Devil so that might be why the other Devils don’t know him. I don’t think it is a coincidence that Asta got the AMD but rather the AMD was seeking out its other half AKA Asta and when Asta despaired for a moment that was most likely the beacon to locating Asta. Here’s another theory : What if the reason Asta has a mutation that causes him to have no mana, is because his mother fell in love with a demon . Asta(as far as we know) is the only human with no mana which is theoretically impossible by normal circumstances, the demon is closer to him than anyone else and he’s able to use devil magic without a contract; plus hasn’t had to sacrifice his humanity like others who wield devil magic.

after hearing abd theory, the only thing that comes into my mind is that the demon is asta. If asta is an otherworlder, and the demon is banised that means memory loss to avoid the “revenge” path. or possibly this wouldn’t happen if and only if the grimoire didn’t find asta, because if asta already has the grimoire since he was young, the church wouldn’t exist by now because Asta demon magic would have absorb the life force. One of the INTERESTING part among the evidences, is that memory of a women that has wound on the chest. I mean, is that asta’s memory? if yes, then how the hell a baby could remember that? he was just a baby seems like a 1 year old or less when they were found on the church. Theory: the antimagic devil is a future yuno (who hates demons cause of his family) who fell in dispear (like licht), after his teammates got killed (“he was the closest to asta”). julius traveled back in time (thats why he knew so much over demons) to prevent some upcoming events. Future Secre (with more training) sealed yuno in his own book or in the underworld. The demons dont know him because he wasnt a demon in the beginning. Julius trains asta to be a counter for yuno in the future. Julius moved asta into this time cause he is the only one who can wield the swords. Basiclly this “rival”-thing is muuuuch more complicated.
Fun theory! Asta himself is from another world, in particular the same world as Yami. That would explain the reason himself and yami are the only individuals who could sense ki. My theory is that Asta was a stillborn baby and hid parent made a pact with the AMD to save or revived him. Mana only dwells in the living, so being a stillborn his mana leave him and he became and empty vessel. The AMD just had to wait until Asta was matured enough to get his grimoire in order for him to posses.

My theory is that the people’s souls in black clover are split into two parts, the Lifeforce and the Mana. For some reason, maybe to fight devils, maybe to protect spade, a contract was made and the mana part of Asta’s soul was removed in exchange for a devil part. Nero didn’t notice the devil enter the grimoire, because it entered when the grimoire arrived at Asta. The grimoire came to him because the part of his soul that was a devil used Asta’s despair to call it. Whenever Asta sees the AMD, that is him seeing the furious, murderous, devil half of his soul. On a side note, I also like the theory about Asta’s mana being sealed, and although it’s unlikely, Asta being half angel or the AMD being a fallen angel are cool theories.
I strongly believe that 1. Asta’s 5 leaf clover is the 1st grimiore being a 5 leaf clover. And as stated on each introduction of the series, having a 5 leaf clover summons a devil thus the original 4 leaf clover served as the grimoire owned by Litch who used these swords back then and possessed sword magic. I remember when asta and litch fight in the ‘elf arc’, litch used a sword and it became white instead of black therefore all sword magic that the grimoire possess back then can be used by asta and there are 3 magic swords right now. 2. Asta was chosen by the devil/book because asta is the only person who can use the 5 leaf clover since he don’t have any mana by the time it was discovered but I think it’s not coincidence. Maybe there’s a plot twist behind it or maybe asta’s parents (his father or mother or in their bloodline like grandparents) was the one who uses the grimoire back then and as a result they don’t possess any mana. 3. Asta’s demon is being sealed in the grimoire(it’s my speculation but makes sense) since he was summoned by sacrificing lives which makes me believe that asta’s demon can unleash the 100% demonification unlike the triad’s demons who can unleashed at least 80% who are still in the underwolrd. In this arc, dante stated that the only way to unleash the 100% demonification is to open the demon realm.

One of my theory is that since yuno is the reincarnation of a unborn child relative to the elves. My guess is asta was also related to a sense in the spade nation as a unborn child. But maybe died in the womb. Since life has to do with mana. My guess is his mother grieved at that moment when asta got struck in the womb. At that very moment of “no life=no mana” the anti-magic demon seized its only one time chance to take a body which was asta which at that very kept asta alive.

I think that when the first wizard king defeated the devil, it was split into two pieces, Yuno or Licht’s son, with Licht’s four leaf grimoire and Tetias wind magic, and asta, with the five leaf grimoire Licht got and his sword magic, that’s why he has the sign of the devil, the wizard king defeated on his head band
Think Dante’s forehead markings aren’t related, they’re just like Yuno’s wind crown when he merges with Bell. Gains a progressively increasing crown the more power they use (or possessed more by the internal devil in Dante’s case.) Also, for the swords, I’m not caught up on BC much, but the whole thing with them is that their very essence changed with the grimoire and had that dark/evil energy websiteed into them that Lumiere and Secre could feel. That probably wasn’t anti-magic, but after Licht’s death I’m assuming the grimoire got possessed by Asta’s devil and changed the swords into anti-magic weapons. Also helps that when Licht takes hold they revert to his versions since he isn’t linked to the grimoire anymore, but when they go back into Asta’s they go black etc. And, for forbidden magic on Asta, I think the anti-magic state he enters mimics his devil to a degree, or the curse isn’t a backlash because he doesn’t have any magic to warp or corrupt God I want more answerssssss
Captain Yami is the Devil King. He came from a land far far away and dropped off Asta and Yuno (his children) at the orphanage bc his Wizard Generals tried to kill him and his children. He then went on to wander the land training waiting for them to grow older but the Wizard King invited him to the Magic Knicks where he later became a captain. Yami was a good devil king who tried to form an alliance with the Elves. Thats why they’re destroying other countries and went after the Elves first. They’re looking for Yami. Thats why no one could hurt the Demon until he hit him with the Dimension Slash first.
i actually really like that Asta-Roth theory at the end of the article. Implying Asta is a semi reincarnation of Astaroth and along with Roth they are complete. This kinda sounds like the whole Naruto and Kurama. it could mean that somebody made a contract with Astaroth who wanted to regain his former glory in the alternate world by making a contract with a human so that Asta is born without mana and will get the five leaf grimoire or “roth”. Also a very likely path i see the story taking is when Asta is even closer to him and he has brought out ~all of his demon power he will travel to the alternate world for some reason where he can become the king of this “demon world” and is left with the choice to remain in the demon world as a kind or go back to his world
Since reading the latest chapter of Black Clover I am little confuse so the Spade Solider Luck begins to fight talked about the Stage Power System like he was familiar with it but I thought only the Heart Kingdom used this system cause what I remember the Heart never said that other kingdom expect the Clover Kingdom used this power system so…could you make a article about this whether Clover Kingdom the only kingdom that does not use this system or each kingdom have it’s only power scaling system?
Maybe asta and the demon are one and they were the demon king ages ago and somehow got sealed away by the wizard king and then when and when someone took his throne he may have gotten mad and resurrected and asta lost all his memories from back then, but the demon still remember and trys to get asta to remember, and maybe just maybe yuno was the one who sealed him away
Since charmy is a mix of 2 races lets say asta is the mix of dwarf and demon heh, jokes aside. i think the demon inside asta is someone who knows other demons but no one knows him. So he might be really old like the first demon or something or he could be weak or an outsider like mentioned in the vid. It could be really anything. The author could literally do what he wants and it would make kinda sense at this point. The only hint i can remember is that lucifer is mentioned or like they said lucifiero?, It could be really roth. I could also in the future that even if they defeat spade and lift the curse, that they fear him and make him the to the devil. Like patri asta could also snap at some point. Just imagine what he all did and is doing. If they still not accept him he could become king of a land himself and let ppl there live equally. This would mean that yuno could become king of clover or wizard king if ya prefer that name.
Astas demon is himself. Perhaps in another timeline, asta fell into despair and became a demon. When he died he was transported to a different realm, the timeline in which black clover takes place, this would explain why he said thats hes been with asta the longest, they also look similar in a way, idk how well this theory holds up but its fun to think about
When you think anout it. This is a bit similar to Naruto. Expect that Naruto had a Sadder story. Asta And Naruto you could say that nobody expected anything from them. They both had big dreams Naurto be the Hokage and Asta the Wizard King .now they both also had a rival/brother/best friend. They somehow grow up together and then each go to a different team to get stronger. Yuno and Sasuke are also somehow similar. I mean they both have a like a chill personality and are also the smartest. Now im not saying they are the same . Im just saying they are a bit similar. Not also forgetting the fact. That they both have like a demon inside them. Either a beast or demon. Now i love them both . Just giving my opinion pls to give hate.
I still think it will come around to licht demon. Either the demon was drawn to licht or it was licht’s darkside which had the same will as licht but towards devil magic. Licht made the 5 lead grimior himself with his own dispair turning himself into a demon. Still he seems to die like the word magic one so maybe it isn’t dark demon licht, but someone drawn to him by having a similar goal of equality instead of hierarchy. Also nobody knows this demon so he might be new and unknown which makes since if it has something to do with licht
You know what would settle Asta and Yuno’s rivalry? By making the other one the Wizard king of the other Kingdom . Just think about it, Clover Kingdom’s the only one with Wizard King. Diamond Kingdom has their own version of the Magic Knight Captains, the 8-Shining Generals, but has no Wizard King. Heart Kingdom’s Queen serves as both Queen and “queen” wizard. It would only be logical to put one king/queen at each kingdom
Soo I just read the Wikipedia page on qliphoth and found out about sathariel. This archangel is basically something that forms as a result of any unbalance in the tree of life. And is known as the concealment of God that hides the face of mercy. It also says that binah, the giver of form (considered an angel) becomes sathariel, the concealer of spirit. So my theory is that, astas demon is basically an angel that turned demon/demon that was born when there was an upset in the balance. This disruption in the balance could have been because of zagred that left the realm 500 years ago. This explains why astas demon hates other demons because it is something that always sets the balance of the world it also explains why asta was chosen as the host and him calling zagred old timer because he is basically a newborn demon. Also I think Asta could have been a child from the clover kingdom maybe a commoner left him because he was left at the church at the same time, along with yuno. As for the awakening of the demon in the current era, it could be because of zagreds activities.
I have a theory- what if this demon is totally a new demon. As when litch’s book was turning into a 5 clover he might have used a unknown forbidden magic to prevent zagrid taking the book. What if he managed to stop zagrid, but what if this gave birth to a new demon or resurrected a old demon king. That explain why no one knows or remember astas demon.
If you think about it. How the story sets up magic as being the end all be all. Pretty much if you don’t have any there’s no point to being in that “world”. So wouldn’t it make sense that having a power to negate all magic be a power that is on top of all magic? The demon in Asta is one whom all the demons don’t know. But if there’s a chance that his demon was the top demon before all the other demons. Then it would make sense if he was banished for some reason and never spoken about? Even changing his form to disguise himself amongst the other demons would ensure his identity from being known. As of now we don’t even know his name yet so keeping that info hidden makes all the more reason that he has something to hide. On top of all that his motive to use Asta is something that has a purpose. In my eyes not just some random “let me out of the demon realm” nonsense. Because the last demon had a plan to use despair to control Licht and cause torment over the humans. (Side note: why doesn’t Asta’s demon have more dialogue in certain situations like how does he feel about seeing these other demons like fr). Anyways, somethings up and we gon find out soon enough.
I think the AMD was always with Asta, like born with him, that’s why he said he’d been the closest to him all that time. That’s why he was with yuno at the church he was sent with him as his protection there both from the spade Kingdom. Maybe one of his parents was a devil magic user and that’s why he’s got no magic the devil magic is constantly attacking his magic making it null in a sense. Still no explanation on why he can sense ki though
Or, it could be that the AMD is actually a big-shot devil like Astaroth (the duke of devildom), but since Asta cannot handle any magic at all, his other, more well-known powers (besides the magic nullification powers) could be blocked off, therefore providing him anonymity of sorts that masks the identity of said devil. It could be that this anonymity is important for this particular devil along with its obvious intention of revenge. Well, take it with a grain of salt, it’s just a theory anyway.
What if Hage is like a secret portal to Demon’s world? I mean, is where the head of Licht’s demon rest, so maybe with the forbidden magic and elf’s power, open a portal that no one really knows. In Hage there’s no envy if you really think about it, they’re all close and hard-workers, even their boundaries are so lovelies and everyone knows each other. If that’s true, maybe Asta was a really big plus for some demons. He is the most hard-worker among them, so when he almost fell on despair, he was the target for a demon (who’s in his grimoire). Maybe the connection and why he could live with Asta without take control over him is because Asta has something important or the Astaroth theory… I don’t really know, I’m new here ㅠㅠ. a lot of people are drawing parallels to naruto but does no one remember toriko? characters literally have demons residing them and toriko had two. but 2 questions though: 1. why will asta die? 2. what is anti-magic? – i mean, we know now that even demons use magic, which is based on mana. they just have an entirely different access to mana. if i’m going to draw an analogy, think of a solar panel’s efficiency and demons are near 100% efficient, elves are probably 50% efficient and humans are probably around 30-40%. but then a being like asta and his demon comes into light and just negates pretty much everything that governs the black clover world. so what is anti-magic? it can’t be a “stop-gap” power like lucifer told dante because every arcane stage mage can alter the natural laws of the black clover world (i.e. vaness with rouge, yami with dark magic that can interfere with the other world magic).
I’d be surprised if Asta’s parents (maybe his mother in particular) made a deal with the Anti Magic Devil (who could turn out to be Astaroth from mythology) in order to bring vengeance against those who were discriminated. P.S. what if Asta actually comes from the other world itself but just doesn’t realize it.
AMD was cast out into the ownerless black grimoire as a means of freeing the demon that originally turned it. I bet black grimoires have two owners, a mage and a devil so that’s why it didn’t fade, and if a demon is stuck without a mage it’s basically sealed away. AMD might be stuck due to its powers making mages useless to escape with.
There is another theory I have. I guess asta and yuno are brothers one have Licht’s son elve spirit and other his demon spirit. When 1st wizard king killed Licht then Licht’s demon which he gets by using forbidden spell when they get killed by magic and his hatered for magic and summon antimagic demon. When licht died the demon spirit moved to asta and elve spirit moved to yuno.
From what I get so far Asta and Yuno come from the Spade kingdom that fell into ruin…and Yuno was more or less the reincarnation of Lichts son…..what if Asta and Yuno are actually half brothers with 2 different fathers….one being the elves and the other being the king of Demons…..or what if it’s “Seven Deadly Sins” style…having a mixture of two different races was forbidden **insert more reasons unknown at this time** and caused the anomaly of a 2nd children conceived and they were actually twins….. so Yuno was granted all magic and Asta was the left over vessel that was left empty…(kinda how one twin is sometime born smaller than the other because one takes nutrients from another) but because no one actually dabbled in dark Magic there was no repercussions….Asta was merely an accident/ or he was created deliberately**insert more potential plot twists** so that devils could coexist and manifest in the human world without dark magic having to be used as a tribute first?
Okay, continuing the astaroth theory what if the Anti magic devil split his soul in two and asta is one half, maybe causing the Anti magic devil to change form and look unrecognizable to even Lucifer, someone who knows every demon in the underworld. And every one of the marks that asta has on his head band is a rank or insignia. Meaning showing where asta/amd lie within the underworld power hierarchy.
For now we know where yuno came frome and just a flashback from asta’s past but i guess asta’s demon is someone who hate other demons too,I wonder if it’s just like in the human world you know,as how the royalty get the better of it all,I think that and it looks that it’s the same for the demon’s world,and he just like Asta despite it.
Let’s give magic a numerical value. Higher-ups in human society have larger numbers. Then theoretically Asta/the amd could have a negative value. EV 1: when you multiply a +ve by a – ve, it become negative, which Asta would then resonate with and nullify, this explains how the anti-magic works. Ev 2: when anyone goes into zagred’s magic, their magical numerical value is decreased, once it reaches 0, they die because mana= life force. But Asta is already below 0, so decreasing the numerical value will take it further down the negative scale, explaining why he ended up stronger, he works in the opposite way to everyone else.
Your theory is nice with much evidence.But to ur information asta got his devil power and 5 leaf grimoire from licht who turned into demon God like Titan with the help of this same grimoire.But intentional defeat by wizard king sealed his power. What if asta’s devil is oldest and most powerful demon who lived in exile after the betrayal by his own kind. And now with new host seeking vengeance against them.
What if the reason why AMD knows Asta better then anyone so to say is because his family were secretly Demon Hunters of some kind. It would be why his mother certainly fought Dante and the others who use Devil magics, why AMD inherently knows Asta being from a notorious lineage amongst the Other World, AND can explain why he has no magic as his family’s entended exposure to the Other World could have on mortals (and the head band thus makes sense). Remember peeps, Asta is uniquely resistant to demonic influence and AMD could try brute force to assume control. Rather, AMD knows letting Asta do his own thing is not only aligned with its goals, but also much easier. Its then entirely possible if Asta comes from a Demon Hunter lineage, then he is not the first to possess a demon book in his family.
I think I know who astas demon is. It’s the demon that possessed the evil mana licht allowed in his body to prevent his mana and body being taken over by the demon.. I think that would explain how asta has his grimoire and swords. The demon is probably like how the hollow is to ichigo it became one with asta. Which would also explain how asta could now turn any weapon into an anti magic weapon
I think that to get strong Astra is going to learn the demon’s name and be partners with that demon, like Naruto and Kurama and Astra will be even more powerful and use his demon’s power at 100%, like Denku at 100% of my Hero Academy and Naruto at the final war with Sasuke and Sakura. What if the demon was with Astra from when he was a baby on the door step with Yuno, wouldn’t it be a twist then that demon somehow was able to summon the five leaf clover for Astra.Page 246 of the Black Clover manga, what if that mysterious assassin is Finral of the black bulls at his stronger self. It would make sense since he promised Finesse that he will be a man that she will be proud of. If It’s not Finral then they will have to make another back story for that new character like they did with Zora, Henry and Secre. personally I hope it’s one of the know members of the black bull because it’s going to take forever for them to do that. Here’s my theory: Asta already died when he was still a baby which is why he has no mana since mana is related to life force. Then his parents summoned a demon, the AMD, by i don’t know how maybe a revised Qlipoth tree maybe ahahhahaha to be with Asta and keep him alive. I don’t know what happened next HAHAHAHHAHA. Also, I think the AMD was within Asta since he was a babyy and NOT within the 5leaf grimoire however he cannot manifest it since he has no grimoire. Grimoires are given to enhance and allow users to manifest, control, manipulate and give direct form to their magic. Same case with Asta. He wasn’t able to manifest his demonic powers before because he still haven’t got that 5leaf grimoire. I also don’t think the demon was inside that grimoire since Nero has been protecting. It just fused with the AMD’s power when Asta was able to summon the 5leaf grimoire. I didn’t base it on any facts, it’s just purely a prediction of mine. Theory: Asta’s anti demon is actually his future self. Story: his future self which had no magic. Which then led to him falling into darkness. He then realize he messed up so he went back in time, to give his past self magic. Which is what the anti demon said “he know says because he is ASR’s future self.” Basically an alternate Future Version of Asta
Asta’s mom gets stabbed by a sword Licht drops grimorie devil goes inside steals magic sword turns it into anti-magic swords asta and his grimorie connect to each other like magnets boom his origin story. And also why didn’t the anime use the one power Asta’s sword does when the swords absorbed noelle’s magic.
Elves, fairies (wind spirit), dwarfs (Charmy), mermaid (water spirit), dragons (fire spirit) and Demons, if all of these exist, the only one remaining are the heavenly Angels. Asta being the Light Triad should be some half/full Angel. Come on, much as I’d like Asta to be a nobody, it’d be great if he was some Angel or something with some Heavenly magic once the demon is lifted.
I feel like the Demon may have possessed Asta Mother and she got killed because she was affiliated with the Demon. But she probably had a good relationship with the Demon both helping each other out than she got pregnant by the Demon with Asta who had a defect which is no mana. My theory is kinda similar to the Blue exorcist anime story. Let me know what you guys think.
I have a theory: Since this saga is the second saga of BC manga, this means we will be left with one more saga. I think it’s possible that asta was born with immense mana but the royalties and nobility in either clover or spade kingdom got scared of him, a commoner, dethroning them or even be a threat to their standing and position in the society. Taking a past record of the nobles and some royal families, it is even more possible that asta’s magic was taken by some royals or nobility. In the elf arc, it was stated by an elf that the silvas are the biggest sinners among the royalties so that can also mean that somehow asta got traded by members of dark triad for some support or renumeration of sorts. Dante killed asta’s family just to kidnap him and sell him to royals. That would also explain why acier was cursed by megicula. Since there was something required to snatch asta’s mana, acier used forbidden magic and accidentally summoned megicula hence cursing herself. I know it sounds extremely stupid but it was a theory in my mind so I just stated it in the comment section.
Ohk a huge theory just popped into my head after perusal this vid for like the tenth time ohk what if Asta’s demon is not a demon but actually an angel of order who has been corrupted by the higher ranked demons and then stripped of his power changing his magic attribute and also his ideals and it could also explain the AMD’s grudge against the higher ranked devil’s and it could also be that Lucifer himself didn’t know of Asta’s demon because he was actually the one to trap him in the crystal while he was still in angel form and he and because of his corruption he was in recognisable by Lucifer just a theory but let me know what u think
If the AMD is a representation of wrath, then his name will most likely be SATAN. I think the story is based on a classification of demons that tells about 4 princes of hell, LUCIFER, BELIAL, LEVIATHAN and SATAN both classifications ( The Satanic Bible, classification also somewhat similar to the one in the book of Abramelin) in contrast to the usual 7 demon princes or other classifications featuring multiple demon princes. LUCIFER the prince of Light/Enlightenment and Pride ( countered by Yami, Dark magic), Magicula is probably based on LEVIATHAN, cursed the Heart Queen and future enemy of Noel a water magic user (LEVIATHAN is related to water in demonology), the demon is possessing a female (leviathan is always featured as a female in anime), Belial is an earth based demon, we see a sort of bone magic so it’s a solid state magic in contrast to LUCIFER’s Gravity magic (fundamental force) or what vanica’s magic might be (maybe Liquid/fluid type of magic). So Asta’s demon must be SATAN the adversary the dethroned prince, prince of oppostion and wrath, and he must seek revenge in the story against the other 3 demon princes (the triad) especially the leader LUCIFER. And who knows now that we saw Asta/ADM’s power failed somewhat against LUCIFER, maybe we will see a new awakening, the true power/magic of Satan, Dark/Black fire magic and it might get explained that they are the reason behind the Anti-magic ability, black fires consuming magic and their full awakening consume everything (Some amateratsu shit).
The thought I’ve been having; Does Belle (Yuno’s Wind Spirit) still hasn’t awaken her true power, in other words is Yuno need to mature into strongest version of himself before Belle can awaken her full potential? I mean we can see how big of the differences in power between Yuno’s Belle in comparison to Lolppechka’s Undine Feugoleon’s Salamander? What are your thoughts on this?
I am agreeing with your theory and want to add my part too.. I think when Dante was doing experiments of contracting demons.. because he wants too create his army.. Asta’s mother refused to give his son. that’s why there is a dialogue of my son.. and I completely agree that Asta’s father was in the research team but don’t knew about that.. then he made a contract of demon with his son by sacrificing Asta’s magic and his(father’s) life too.. and became one with the demon too…
Imagine if the devil blocked astas true magic because he was his son and wouldn’t be able to handle it so the devil made it were asta would train and by doing this he would awaken his true power or he could awaken his mothers side (angle power his mother is an angle who fell and fell in love with a devil) and get two spirits one angle one devil but anyway that’s just my theory it’s a big stretch but I like it
i don’t have magic too so imma drop these here: asta’s family is from an ancient race where mana isn’t a thing or simply inaccessible or probably incompatible. i don’t get how his mother would look like a commoner if she is part of a somewhat “king’s guard” family. and since yami is probably a case of isekai, and there’s a lot of race involved in the black clover universe. it’s not too far as to think that there is (or was) a race without mana. dwarf – elf demon – angel human with mana – ______ isekai with mana – ______ PLUS! having another NARUTOxKURAMA shit won’t satisfy even the writers. peace
But there still something odd : Asta and Yuno are, when they arrives at the village, very young like a few month old, maybe even less. As soon as asta felt just a little bit of despair he was granted a 5 leaf grimore. I think that was a part of the contract, he wasn’t ever supposed to feel that way and if he did he would receive a five leaf grimore and lose his humanity (imagine asta with no hope. It doesn’t make sense) and the only five leaf grimore available was licht’s grimore
If the heart queen dies from curse or for their upcoming battle with the spade kingdom, I think the water spirit will make Noelle as it’s new master since the water queen doesn’t have a daughter to take her throne and for the water spirit to protect. This is a major big power up for Noelle and for the light triad. Yuno having the wind spirit and Noelle having water spirit. And asta somehow will know his true identity or devils identity and somehow also will have a major powerup
It be interesting if the Asta’s father was his devil though it be like how for the one shot for Naruto where the Nine-Tails was his father before it was changed (it’s why his has the 3 marks on his cheeks also it’s a good story for those who hadn’t read it.) but it be cool if black clover did go this rout.
When you mentioned wrath and pride, you should have used pictures of Meliodas and Escanor. I don’t think the spade kingdom would have known about licht’s 5 leaf grimoire since the grimoire went missing due to nero hiding it and keeping watch over it, so if Asta’s parents summoned a demon from the underworld, they probably had the demon placed within Asta

here’s my theory about asta. sorry this is long because i have a lot of ideas about it but let me please know what do y’all think if u haven’t read the manga, don’t read it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from the backstory ep (123/124), seeing baby yuno and asta just give me ideas about asta’s history. since they were put in the church at the same time and have their names written on their shirt already, means that someone knows them and perusal over them. just like yuno, the guy who put him there at church came back and told him everything. now, this makes me really feel that asta is also from the spade kingdom because there was an uproar before caused by the dark triads, and given the fact that he has a name already before, means that someone might be waiting for the right time to go to him. what’s more, on chapter 242, seeing gauche like that just triggered his mind and he just saw a memory from WHEN HE WAS A BABY. so my question is, how is he able to remember that? he was just a baby, but this thing made me think that he’s incredible for remembering that, but if he can remember those things, maybe they really planned to stock his memory since he was a baby but sealed it. but why?? afraid that asta might know what he really is? why do i also feel like since he was born he already had a demon and that demon sealed his memories or maybe that demon attacked his mom or maybe the demon protected asta when he was a baby and his mom asked him to take care of asta??🤔 another one, let me just remind y’all, his black headband, it was with him ever since, the symbol is similar to dark triad.
I like the theory that Asta and AMD are nobodies. It perfectly represents the theme of most shonen: that even if you’re a nobody, you can still be amazing. Asta is a poor commoner with no parents or magic and is looked down on by the rest of the world. AMD is a commoner of the underworld with low ranking abilities and has been shunned by his comrades. These two nobodies happened to cross each other’s paths and now look what they’re capable of.
I also think yami had an important roll here, since he is also the one who enrolled asta into black bulls and yami is the one who sent other members on a secret missions, probably he was also from spade kingdom since we still dont know his origin other than that his not from clover kingdom originally
