Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Lost Tower is a time travel film that introduces a new type of chakra, Naruto Uzumaki. The film focuses on Naruto Uzumaki’s ninja team as they go on a mission to stop the moon from falling and rescue Hanabi Hyuga, Hinata Hyuga’s sister, from Toneri Otsutsuki. The film also highlights that Naruto never experienced the love of friends and family when he was young.
Naruto’s chakra color tends to flip-flop between colors, with some scenes showing blue and others turning blue. The explosion of Naruto’s vast chakra destroys a massive part of the Moon and shreds Hinata’s scarf, leaving her heartbroken. It is likely just an aesthetic choice. When Jiraiya trained Naruto for the Chūnin Exams, Naruto described his chakra as being yellow in color, as opposed to the Fox’s red chakra. However, by the time the manga got to that point, the anime had already long been depicting normal chakra as being a light blue color.
The Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and its related forms coat the user’s body in yellow chakra, which emanates from them reminiscent of flickering flames. Dark Chakra (闇のチャクラ, Yami no Chakura) is a special chakra formed from the negative emotions of the heart. Toneri showed one of the strongest attacks in the series by splitting the moon in half, easily drained Naruto’s chakra reserves. In the last movie, when Naruto’s chakra was extracted by Toneri during a fight, it took three days for Sakura to heal him. In this mode, Naruto is surrounded by yellow chakra and his pupils are horizontal lines with tiny vertical slits.
