Jesse Ventura, former Minnesota governor and professional wrestler known as “The Body”, is now the star of a television docu-thriller show called Conspiracy Theory. The show, which airs on TruTV, has recently covered two of today’s most-debated topics: global warming and Climategate. Ventura has been a controversial author and former wrestler turned governor, who claims to have found many more historical “facts” that have been gathered from his “reliable” sources.
In this 7-episode series, Ventura explores the mysteries behind modern-day conspiracies, such as secret military operations. He has traveled to various locations, including the US government’s plan to declare martial law and round up millions of US citizens into internment camps. As COVID-19 spreads, so too have conspiracy theories about the virus.
Ventura has also been prowling obscure government facilities, confronting civil servants, and uncovering secret corporate or government projects that usually oppose the government’s policies. His Tru-TV show, Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, ran for three seasons from 2009 to 2010.
A New York Times bestseller, “63 Documents the Government Doesn’t Know”, features Ventura discussing conspiracy theories that the government wishes were known. He has also been involved in investigations into secret corporate or government projects that usually align with the government’s interests.
In an interview with WNYC, Ventura discusses his Tru-TV show and the secrets he wants people to know about.
