Why Is Mr. Miz Amulet Useful?

The Mysterious Amulet is a unique relic in Borderlands 2 that can be purchased from Mr. Miz during the mission “The Amulet” in the Lair of Infinite Agony. This legendary item is available for purchase after Dwarven Allies is completed. Mr. Miz is an NPC found in the Lair of Infinite Agony and will assign a mission called “The Amulet” to players.

The amulet spawns in a room in the Hall of the Dead in the Lair of Infinite Agony with two shallow graves and a new-u station. Players can choose to buy the relic or kill him, but they will receive an achievement/trophy for equipping the amulet. The amulet increases the wearer’s “Friendship” statistic by up to 7 points, which is not seen prior to or outside of the quest.

When wearing the amulet, players can obtain a unique rainbow rarity Torgue Shotgun similar to the swordsplosion but with unicorns. The only thing buying the amulet does is complete an achievement. If players hit Mr. Miz, they won’t get the achievement and won’t see him again in that playthrough. Equipping the amulet for the “Hmmmmm” achievement is possible, but punching him won’t allow players to buy it.

The amulet is for cosmetic effects but also yields a badass reward and an achievement after which players can punch Miz and gain XP and a mission payoff. The quest is optional and can be completed after Dwarven Allies is completed.

Should I sell the amulet?

The Sentient Amulet, a rare item found in Baldur’s Gate 3, is a challenging item to acquire due to its suspicious nature. Acquiring it requires fighting a Lava Elemental, navigating environmental hazards, and opening a high DC lock. The spirit’s madness can lead to different outcomes and upgrades for the amulet, but both have risks. The player can choose to accept the spirit’s madness or refuse it, resulting in different outcomes and upgrades.

The Sentient Amulet stands out from other necklaces in the game due to its ability to communicate with the player. While equipping such items with suspicion is recommended for safe play in the Forgotten Realms, it’s not necessarily worth it. The ultimate payoff for the amulet’s story doesn’t come until Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, making it difficult to make an informed decision when the amulet is first acquired.

Do punches to the face hurt?

The average force of a human punch is around 200 kilograms per square inch, making it unlikely for a casual fight to result in a skull fracture. However, in professional fights, it is highly likely that a bruised or broken skull is likely. Pro boxers can hit over 600 kilograms of force per square inch in a single punch.

The punch then moves through the last layer of the skull, causing the brain to bounce off the inside of the skull. This process can continue, with the brain bouncing around inside the skull like a billiard ball until it finally rests. Blood vessels in the brain can be damaged, causing some risk of bruising. However, this is not the most dangerous part of a head injury. As the force travels through the head and the brain jostles, neurons can tear and snap, putting nearby neurons in danger. As they degenerate, they release toxins into the environment, killing nearby neurons. This damage, known as a concussion, is the most common result of head trauma.
