What’s the point of Pandaria Remix?
Mists of Pandaria Remix is a seasonal activity that allows players to create new characters and run through the entire Pandaria expansion with a few changes to the core gameplay loop. The activity removes junk and offers a streamlined inventory consisting of armor upgrades, stat-boosting consumables, and gems that provide additional powers or stat increases. The crux of this is a cloak with its own set of stats that can be upgraded with threads, another material within the Pandaria Remix mode.
Initially, the event seems innocent enough, opening the door to a time when players were having fun before Warlords of Dreanor ruined it. However, after many hours, the experience has turned everyone from average players into disastrous monstrosities, driven by the desire to obtain as much bronze as possible. The cloak is inherently broken, and players can infinitely grind out power levels until they become a literal god on the battlefield.
While some may argue that Blizzard designed this to maintain the sense of original innocence, there is no doubt that the culmination of massive power must have been calculated. It is impossible to imagine a world where Blizzard wasn’t aware of how this could snowball into something much larger than itself.

Priests, top of the charts in DPS in Dragonflight, carry over to the new game mode due to their Dragonflight-era class abilities and builds. The B-Tier and C-Tier classes are mostly options that don’t fall under the category of Pandaren Monk or have specific reasons that make them stand out. Evokers start at 10 for the first time, Druids break out of the Jack-of-all-trades box, and Priests can deal the most damage. However, B or C tier classes are still worth picking.

I’ve added timestamps to the article, so hopefully that makes it easier to sort though. On that note, I wanted to quickly address a comment I’ve seen from a few different people, namely complaining about the length/format of the article. Obviously this is the first article from my second website that many people are perusal, so I’d imagine not everyone is familiar with the reason why I created this website in the first place. It’s no secret that the upload rate on my main website has slowed down over the years, and that’s largely because I’ve been trying to spend a lot more time editing the articles and making them very condensed with minimal downtime. If you prefer that style, and don’t like long rambly vids like this one, I totally get that. It’s the reason why I spend so much time making highly edited articles for my main website. However, doing that takes a TON of time, so it can be really difficult to convey important information in a timely manner when I have to spend days scripting/editing it beforehand. Due to the way the YouTube Algorithm works, I also can’t really upload a mix of high/low editing articles; if I post a lower investment article that doesn’t perform super well, it negatively impacts the performance of my entire website. This is where the second website comes into play. This allows me to quickly get out important information to you guys in an unedited format, while keeping the highly edited articles on the main website. A few comments have said things like “just a small amount of editing would make this article so much better”, and while that’s absolutely true, I don’t think you realize just how much time even a “small amount” of editing can take.

Thanks for this. I rolled a priest on a trial acct last night and after a little questing and some solo dungeon experiments to try it out I just “healed” my first dungeons ever, and then when that went real well switched to HC and that worked just as well if not better. Nobody complained, in fact the tank instantly requeued us after the first HC. So broken, but so fun. I still need Chi-Ji, but have the best alternatives. Got all the optimal tinkers. Running Roll and have Blink and waiting for Heroic Leap to drop. I’m scratching my head why so many guides for non-twinks all seem to bias towards Blink but I was thankful to see that you too see the folly in not picking Heroic Leap if you have it. It gets places none of the straight ahead movement spells can go.
A great way to get threads is Hidden Treasures and Elusive Foes. Even at level 20 i can tag mobs in dread wastes and vale but will take many attempts and to kill them would take 10m+. You cannot loot Hidden treasures in townlong, vale and kun-lai as there is a level requirement but dread wastes doesn’t have one so you can get epic thread from exploring and the 3 rares. Sadly 2 of my epic threads went to mastery, but 1 vers and 1 haste. Thanks so much my priest is OP now 🙂
I’ve been running an Arcane Mage at 20 and can Arcane Explosion the entire heroic dungeon as fast as I can run. Scenarios fall as fast as I am able to attack (usually have to wait for NPC to walk or the next phase is only thing slowing me down). Super fun. Wish we could keep this power post event. Gonna cry when my mage becomes a regular 20.

One big pain in the butt right now is that apparently a lot of people have been perusal this article or others like it and creating all these carrier players and now they bring their carried players into raids and leave them to do nothing while the rest of the raid has to do the job. They also were doing it in dungeons and that really hurts.
Regarding the lastest patch which increased bronce from bronce catches by 100% and 200% increased thread gain rate from spools of eternal thread. What could be the implications for alt leveling? 1) Are the 7% exp gain from LFR dailies now trippeled? (probably not, since the thread is called Perpetual Thread of Experience) 2) Might it be worth to build a new 20 trial account carry and especially do the explorations / worldboss archievements again to get a chance to build an even better carry. Probably yes. Just hitting 300 INT alone would be insane. 3) And is there a way to benefit from increased bronce catches by carrying with the trial account? probably not. 4) is alt leveling still on par with the other activities to farm bronce? probably yes. i think i will be getting a few more alts up and just carry them each day through HCs and scenarios. might also be focusing on getting healer classes up to faster q for LFR.
I don’t think anyone should waste any time on this since Blizz is actively searching out any source of fun in Remix, and stomping them out ASAP. I would bet that within a day or so you won’t be able to stomp dungeons on a lvl 20 any longer, and in fact you will just get one shot over and over if you get ahead of your group. Blizz promised a fun, OP experience, but can’t seem to allow themselves to deliver one.
does anyone know a build (talents/gems/etc.) for Monk? I think I wanna make a monk cuz I can queue up as both tank and healer on Monk + it feels rly nice to play class with mobility and I think going on Priest will bore me a lot :c Also does it change ur spec if u queue as heal/tank and queue pops for u as a off-role? Also does that impact ur clear speed a lot? And on priest if u get queue pop as healer do u lose a lot of important stuff from ur talents?
Maybe a bit late to the party but may i correct you on AVOIDANCE on gear? For you twink, I suggest you keep blue gear items with leech, avoidance and speed. Why? Because you quickly get max stats on your cloak (132% crit, 126% haste and vers, 128% mastery is the cap) After 5 or 6 days on my Twink priest lvl 20, i had to start removing gems and replace them with armor, leech and speed gems. After 10 days all you need are armor gems. Even the stats on your gear dont matter anymore as you will have reached every single cap anyways due to your cloak. The only stat on gear you can still use is avoidance (makes sense: there are no gems with avoidance). These are the hard caps: 132% crit 126 haste 126 vers 128.14% mastery 49% leech 49% speed I’m also at 24.52% avoidance and 248 armor so those have not reached the cap yet.
About how long does it take to get a holy twink to the point of being able to solo heroics? I’ve been trying to grind all day and gems and stat gems seem to be far and few between so i’ve been using the bronze i get to get them slowly. Are there certain stats on the cloak that i can just stop looting things in the dungeons i’m trying to boost myself in, or just keep going and looting no matter what? ty for the guide!
Honestly, it seems HUGE to hit main stat on all these achievment spools. I hit mostly haste and crit on them, which means im almost capped on both, but only have 300 main stat on cloak, whereas you have 600 BEFORE the threads. basically, I’m doin about 1.1k per nova crit, whereas you’re doing 2.5k. It honestly seems kinda worth to remake characters over.
I know this is silly but I have 5 accounts … I used to be a boxer to do my Own content before they banned boxing … so I paid for a month on three of the ones not in use and used the 5th for the no sub boosting priest This allows me to boost 4 chars at at time so super time efficient Then when I get all the farming alts etc I want for next expansion will just send them to main account and a second account for warlocks to summon from main account for farming around the world Nets out at less than hour per character… but even though I have the disposable income to do it … it’s pretty dumb now that I’ve started it because there is so much time left to do so just a waste of money really … but is super efficient at 40 mins a toon spent albeit super overkill and totally not needed since over two months left
if you happen to end up joining one of theses dungeons and you sign up for the quests you can not complete them due to the person who thinks they are cool and can fly through at top speed and so you have to re que and hope you get a decent team to be able to do the actual dungeon and be able to complete the quests, lso half the dungeon you pull will end up killing the few who fall behind or who cant keep up, this is ruining the whole ideo in my opinion, the raids and the dungeons are teams gamepley NOT solo, if you want to play solo then goto the dungeons / raids and do them your self. PS my 15M DH will kill 99.9% of other players and i will always run the dailys for the quest at slow speeed killing everything so that people can complete quests and do not get left behind,.
