YES! I’ve been telling people this for some time now, and I have never seen this information. Think about it, OCT means 8 and DEC means 10! So, the month of January and February are months of dormancy, you can’t plant or harvest during these months. Thus, the beginning of Spring always signified the beginning of a new year . . . for planting and celebrating the return of the sun, of life. Plus, there are 52 weeks in a year, when divided by 4 you get 13 months. So, the question we should ask is where is my extra month of pay! 😂
I have been observing the Saturday Sabbath for 20 years. I’m a Christian, but never was happy with “organized” religion, so started studying on my own. The Holy Bible is a great guide to live by, but there are other documents that were taken out of it long ago, like the Book of Enoch, Book of Jasher, Jubilees, etc. Study diligently and learn to discern the true Word from the lies of men.
If we still had a 13 month calendar, each month would comprise 28 days. 13 months would add up to 364 days and New Year’s Day would be the 365th day. Every fortnight would be the exact halfway point for each month and if Sunday was the starting point for the week Friday the 13th would occur every month the night before every fortnight, or midpoint of each month. Every 3 months (84 days) plus one week would add up to 91 days, with the 91st day marking a seasonal shift and corresponding festival event. Coincidentally ordinary playing cards mirror this 13 month system. If you count the Ace as the number One and then add the number cards to 10, the Jack becomes 11, the Queen 12 and the King 13. If you then add up the total of the four suits you get the number 52, which corresponds to the 52 weeks of the year. This is probably why they are still used in divination today.

I’ve always had the natural urge to rest and relax on Saturday and then begin taking care of business again on Sunday. Since I was a child I always believed that the actual first day of the week was Sunday but we didn’t go back to school or work until the second day of the week. I always thought that the Monday-Sunday week was the “business week” and that’s why it’s more commonly used. I never realized that people considered Monday as the actual first day! To be honest, I always thought of it as the Lord rested after he worked, so I honor the day of rest after I work. Week starts on Sundays so… made sense to me that Saturday would be the day I rest. So I’ve taken that day off from work no matter what for the last few years trying to focus on my walk with Him.
I grew up catholic and we celebrated on Sunday, but in college my roommate was a 7th day Adventist where they celebrated god/prayer on Saturdays, not Sundays. Always made perfect sense to me since I grew up knowing the week started on Sunday, so Saturday is the 7th day. As a child I was taught and referenced that Sunday was the first day of the week, so when did it start to get taught differently? Or does the 40 hour work week just make people forget that Sunday is the start of the week? It has always come across as purposeful deception that most of Christianity deliberately celebrates god on the wrong day.

In a great movie called The 13th Warrior, when the muslim poet is hanging out with a group of Vikings and the oracle says they need 13 warriors, one warrior for each day of the month. Amazing article. May I add that the new month begins with the new moon. It is a day of worship, and day 1 of the new month. Worship days are day 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 (so every 7 days). These are our sabbaths. Most of the High Holy Days are in the 1st and 7th months of the year. The new year starts at the new moon near the vernal equinox. There’s more to learn. The issue with Saturday being Sabbath is that the RCC has changed the days in a month where some have 30, others have 31, and February has 28. This means that the months are no longer calculated by the moon’s cycles. In other words, this month Saturday may be an actual Saturday but next month, it will proceed a day and be Sunday, etc. Now, if everyone did this, the business world would be in a tumult because they would have to adjust the working days to accommodate “Gods” clock. In order to find the proper Sabbath, we need to re-calculate by going to the first month (which is not January) and follow Sabbath every seven days from there and disregard our modern calendars. I think that the first Sabbath in the first month starts at the second new moon, if I’m not mistaken. If you do that, then you will notice that what I said above is true. The moon works like a minute hand and the sun is like an hour. Each day proceeds by one day each month. Try it and see.
I’m a Christian, that only uses the modern calendar for secular purposes. For my faith I follow the Biblical calendar, I rest on Saturday, the 7th day and I celebrate the holidays from the Bible, not Xmas or Easter they don’t mean much to me. I celebrate the resurrection at Passover and the Birth of Christ during Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles. Been doing this for 20+ years and know of many others that do the same, even if they attend church on Sunday they rest on Saturday and skip the Xmas party.
I’ve always had a “magical” feeling on Saturdays. I used to credit school and it’s absence from my life on that day but it’s so much more. For a few weeks now I’ve been trying to observe the sabbath starting from sundown on a Friday and ending at sundown on Saturday. It used to say you pray not with words but by assuming the feeling of your wish fulfilled. Showing the Gratitude and appreciation for your prayer being answered before it is is what is meant by faith. If you can’t show the gratitude and appreciation for it before it happens, do you really have faith that God is going to make it happen? I have looked at this a lot before now and it was one rabbit hole. 😂 Wondered what my birth date actually was and what else could have been given to me as ‘misinformation’ over my entire life (And what that would mean) Someone should create an app or a calendar to reassess the real us lol 😂 Imagine what misinformed numbers/dates and understandings of the self this profound and seemingly deliberate act would have affected- it would be relate able to all that one knows or ever knew.
The day of my awakening I asked my Step Dad why he wasn’t at church. It was Saturday. I don’t know how to explain it but it was like my soul was remembering and I remember the look he gave me like he also knew the truth. Ever since I’ve been remembering things that in this lifetime I never knew but it’s like my soul never forgot.
As long as I’ve been using any form of electronics that within the clock/calendar has a setting for “Week begins on…”, I’ve selected Sunday because even though I was born into and raised in a Christian household, Sunday always “felt” first instead of last. Many times that setting was auto-filled with Sunday as a “regional” default. And who else has grown up feeling like Sunday is way more of a workday than it should be anyway, with all of the church-related obligations? I’ve learned a number of things throughout the years. 1) the first month being March has to do with the Israeli calendar year. Also, it could fluctuate because the Israeli calendar was based on the lunar cycle. 2) Sunday is still the first day of the week in many calendar systems. If Monday is shown as the first day of the week on your calendar you’re using a business calendar system because Monday through Friday are business days. In business calendars it makes sense to put Saturday and Sunday at the end of the week due to the purpose of usage. The standard calendar will still have Sunday as the first day of the week. 3) the reason many churches celebrate on Sunday has to do with both the Sabbath being on Saturday, so the early Christians were probably visiting the local synigogue and it’s traditionally believed that most of Jesus’ appearances after the crucifixion was on Sunday. This is not new knowledge. This is just knowledge that people tend to not look into.

A huge component of why this was done is to separate people from the natural cycle of food production. So much of how things were structured in the past had to do with growing food. If you separate people from their own food production, it becomes very easy to manipulate and control them. Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy is part of the ten commandment. It was so important that God asked us to remember it. It’s not ceremonial if it’s part of the the ten commandment. This is why I personally keep the seventh day Sabbath which is on Saturday. The Catholic church changed the sabbath to Sunday. Under who’s authority? God does not change!

I was born back in 1990. I was taught the first day is sunday and the last day was saturday. So that has not changed for me. Its just that the first day of the school week is monday. With the first and last day being the “weekend” even though sunday is the first day. I was never told why the nonsense way of doing things.

I honestly forgot that some people think Sunday is the “last” day. Saturday has always been the “last” day in my circle. However, I think all of this is arbitrary and only really means something for those who want to align their breaks with what the deity dictates. In other words, some people need a set of rules to guide them in all aspects of their lives out fear they might make a mistake. It also conviently absolves them of any responsibilty besides following orders.
Pay periods in my career for over 40 years began on Sunday and ended on second Saturday. I was always told since I was very young, that Sunday is the first day of the week, Saturday the last (7th), Sabad, Sabado (Spanish). Nov = 9, Dec =10. July and August were changed and named after Julius Caesar. January and February were later added in front of March, which was at one point the first month. Who or why things were changed, is because man can change anything as they see fit.
This list is a conversion chart between the Hebrew Calender and the Roman Gregorian Calendar. I am a Christian and come from a traditional Presbyterian Christian home, altough I ended up being baptised as a Pentecostal. We were always taught that Sunday is the first day of the week, but we still worshipped on Sunday. And many calendars have March as the first month, including the Old Roman Calendar. That’s why “September” (literally Seventh Month) is so called, although it is the ninth month in our calendar. The Celts had a year that began in November because this was when the old year died (because of Winter) and the new year, like a child in a womb, was conceived, although it would not be born until Spring, in March. Because the Hebrews had a Lunar Calendar, they had 13 months of 28 days (4 weeks). So they didn’t have the problem that we have of different days of the year being on different weeks. Every day of the year was always going to be on the same day of the week in every year.
July and August are names used from Roman emperors as well, Julius and Augustus. They where placed in the hottest months in Rome. And in the Gregorian calendar it threw off the order that the some other months had due to the naming of them. September coming from Septem = Seven was the 7th month October coming from Octo = eight was the 8th month November coming from Novem = Nine was the 9th month December coming from Decem = Ten was the 10th month Two Months that were replaced thanks to July and August being brought in was Quintilis and Sextilis both being Numbers as well, five and six respectively. Therefore the calendar did start with March, so that the numbers make sense.

The 13 month calendar is as old as Enoch and in Enoch’s books it is carefully presented. The years length, or Enoch’s Tear, has 364 days or 13 x 28 days or 13 lunar cycles. Given the Gregorian calendar now in use with 365 days and 366 every fourth year we have an average year of 365.25 days . Enoch’s book, furthermore, prophesied that in the last days men will err in their reckoning of the year . Lol . . .
The 13 month is 2nd Adar, they used that before we had leap years to keep the calendar in proper cycle. 2nd Adar occurred 7 times every 19 years, around once every 3 years as opposed to our leap years every 4 years, this is because Hebrews had a 360 day year, as opposed to 365. Doing this kept the feast days in line with the actual seasons they were supposed to occur in. It was not a regular 13th month, it operated much as our leap years do today. Sunday has always been the first day of the week. I was taught this in grade school. None of this information is shocking or surpirsing to anyone with any semblance of an education. I worship God every single day of the week, not just on Sunday or Saturday. articles like this only serve ro pull people away from the true worship of God in spirit and truth, like Jesus said, towards pharasaical rule based worship. If you are worshipping God with all your heart, mind, soul, and spirit you are doing it correctly, irregardless of what day of the week it happens to be. This is spiritual milk, put it aside and get the meat. There’s way better and more profitable things to teach the body of Christ about than the calendar.

But it’s been said that Jesus was a Pisces, hence the iconography with fish, his speaking in parables and his grace. If he was born in March, the first month that would be really interesting. Catholics and Jehovah witness still worship God on Saturdays.

Bro, it says right on the same page that Veadar is an intercalendary month 😭 They had 12 months of 30 days going back to the ancient Babylons. That means there are 12 months in the year but due to the fact that 12 months of 28 days (the time for a full moon cycle) is less than the 365.24 days it takes for the Earth to fully circle the Sun, a 13th month is added once the difference between the lunar and solar year reaches 28 days. It’s great to research online but there are so many books and academic articles freely available. Please spend more time reading and researching these rather than youtube articles made by people trying to sell essential oils or vitamins. Dig into sources and refute them rather or confirm them. The Hebrew calendar was not changed. We find Jesus Birthday and all other dates written in the Gospels. Not only in this particular Bible. The Jews have always kept their correct time. Only the Roman church, the people who seek both carnal and ‘spititual’ rulership have forced the calendar we now keep upon us. Not the early Christians which were thrown to the lions by the Romans, but everyone who came under the dominion of their church. There is a verse that has always led me to believe it was an Autumn birth. “And HE came to tabernacle amongst us” not sure exactly where in the NT that is, but it brought back the Fall Feasts to my thinking. The Feast of Tabernacles, as every major prophetic event coincides with one of HIS appointed times. The sheep would still be in the fields before winter set in. Just a thought. Changing the calendar was the first step in erasing and rewriting our history. You’ll note that the change occurred before Christmas was established as a holiday. The old calendar was determined by the moon, so current Saturday is not the Sabbath. The Sabbath is determined by the lunar cycle. New moon, half moon, and full moon are the Sabbaths. That is the calendar that God gave us. He set our calendar in the sky.

I am not a theologian, but just a humble believer in the salvation of Jesus Christ. I am not a scholar with the credentials on my wall. Just a believer that sees why December 25th was chosen because of Luke’s Gospel. The author of Luke contrasts two miracles first off. Firstly, He sends Gabriel to him, he is going to have a son with his wife Elizabeth. Six months after this, He Sends Gabriel to the virgin Mary telling her that she is to conceive through the power of the Holy Spirit, our Lord and savior Jesus. Two births, one ” the voice that cries out in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord”, the other is that of THE Lord. So as the feast day John the Baptist is on June 24th in the Gregorian calendar, this means accordingly: 1) John was conceived in September. 2) The Annunciation, takes place in March as the 6th month mentioned in Luke 1: 26 means 6 months from when John was conceived.
Doesn’t matter what this Bible claims if it’s wrong lol. No where in scripture is there 13 months. Sure you can make some numbers in Ezekiel and other passages add up to 13 months but I can also show you those passages can be explained with the calendar in the Book of Enoch and that THAT calendar matches the dates in Revelation. A 13 month calendar does not.

Saturday has been the seventh day forever. How was this a discovery? In the 90s, all the calendars started the week on Sunday. Nisan became the first month after Noah’s flood. But before that, Nisan (March) was the 7th month and Tishri (September) was the original 1st month. Rosh Hashanah, Jewish New Year, celebrates the original month of creation.
The Hebrew calendar is very accurate. Nisan in Hebrew. has always been around March/April. I’m surprised to hear you thought Sunday wasn’t the first day of the week. When was it not? Even in today’s Gregorian calendar, it always been the first day of the week as it was and still is in the Hebrew calendar. Oh Dear, you may not like to hear this, but the mark of the beast has been around since the days of Cain. Cain was marked by God, because Cain refused to repent of his sins. Daniel was given a prophetic dream regarding BEASTS which apparently represented Kings or Kingdoms (Daniel 7) The 4th BEAST shares the exact same description as the 1st Beast of Rev 13 that John wrote about. This BEAST referred to the Roman Empire, being the last anti-God world empire before Messiah appeared to establish His everlasting kingdom. So this BEAST empire or kingdom made an IMAGE = Image of the Beast. Daniel 7:25 says that this Beast will think to change Gods Religious Festivals and Law. So the Image of this Beast attempts to change Gods Religious Festivals and Law. The only Law of God that mentions and Image is the 2nd Commandment, which begins like this… Thou shall not make any FALSE IMAGE or LIKENESS of anything in heaven above… So what did God place into heaven above? Genesis 1:14 says that God placed the Sun, Moon, and Stars to be our calendar to measure days years, and Religious Festivals. More specifically God says in Psalm 104:19 that he made the Moon for Religious Festivals. Psalm 81:3 states that the phases of the moon point to Religious Festivals. And history says that the Hebrews followed Gods Luni-Solar Calendar until 357AD when it was changed by Hillel II. So the Image that the Beast made was the Roman Julian Calendar, and all conquered territories of Rome had to use Roman time.

After all “April Fools” is for the people who refused to shift the new year to Jan 1 from the equinox. If you start the new year on the vernal equinox, and that is April 1. Each month has 28 days. Being that the 1611 Auth.K.J.V. has been so attacked through history, yet written @ the “Shakespearian, “Height of the english language”, so as to be as descript & close, by the people involved & that it’s the only “Uncopyrighted” in existence sort of enough (does anyone think Gods Word could be ? Saturday & Sunday named in the Pagen calendar, Sunday the first day of the week as in ” on the first day God said let there be light (Sun-Day). the last day of the week. this is the Sabbath, the 7th day of the week, the day of rest. 4 weeks in a month ( roughly ) 12 months in a year. calculating the lunar cycle at 364 & 1/4 days in that cycle. it’s pretty much been common knowledge for roughy 2,000 years.
Apparently, the maker of this content has never known a Jew or studied Jewish or biblical history until now? Our Bible originally comes from the Jews. The Sabbath (last day of the week) was always Saturday. Their calendar was based on a lunar cycle. FYI, their day began and ended at sundown. Sabbath began Friday evening and lasted thru until Saturday evening. Easter (too close to Ishtar to be comfortable for me…should be renamed to Resurrection Day) should be around Passover when the true Lamb was slain. (The Passion week account leaves no doubt of timing with the holidays celebrated that week.) Christmas (English) was set up around the winter solstice to combat pagan celebrations which did nothing but muddy the waters. A common sense reading of the birth of Christ would indicate a spring birth…..not December 25.

Here’s why… Christ would never call Himself a Christian nor would He ever celebrate any of the Christian holidays. Father in heaven would never allow Christianity to be the religion in His kingdom nor would He allow any of the Christian holidays to be celebrated in His kingdom. WHY??
