i have found this to be very true…that true freedom comes from the individual, and that attempting to control others in order to be free is an oxymoron…we cant be free unless everyone begins to think in terms of freedom, but we have been conditioned to think that freedom means controlling others…and this is what we have to break out of… the very existence of religion points to this, religion literally means bondage, enslavement…control… it is astounding that the teachings of jesus, which mirror the ideas of free will, love, and a connection with god, has been hijacked by those that want to control others…he would not even recognize the religion that bears his name today, and would probably speak against it… it is also astounding that the original proponents of liberty in america were very much in line with these ideas of free will and it too has been twisted into the idea that freedom can only be achieved by controlling others…they too would not recognize what we are subject to in america today… i am finding more and more that these ideas, the teachings of jesus, the teachings of the original founders of freedom in america, and the teachings of the so called “new age” are all one in the same…and even manifest now in the ideas of the free man, or individual sovereignty over self, even anarchy (voluntaryism, not chaos and death) are all the same thread… this all points to a deeper spiritual awakening all over the world, where we are all beginning to recognize our greater connection to god and our responsibility to make conscious choices.
In general from all that I have read on the topic the new age movement nor the eastern religions exclude Christians. When Teal says that Christians can be a part of the new age movement she is correct in the sense that the movement will not reject them. However many Christians would say they cannot be part of it because it violate s their belief so the exclusion is self imposed.
We sit here on our computers having these debates of whether or not the new age movement is of truth or of false teachings. But if you simply open your eyes to the true nature of reality you can see that we really do all create our world. Everything you touch and see it’s all a creation from the innermost depths of our hearts, we decide what is good and what is evil and it has always been this way. All the new age is unveiling is the truth that good/evil, up/down, left/right they are all dualities from the same oneness. The ego in us wants to say that we are like great and powerful gods with the power to control all of reality in the palms of our hands, but the REAL truth is that we are but tiny little creators, whose conscious attention makes subtle differences in our world. And after we realize this, we can spend our attention on love and realize that the day we become the powerful gods we desire to be, is the day we use our subtle power and work together as one entity under the same sun. Open your eyes to see your small power, and through that humbleness make it big.

This lady has nothing to do with the organized new age movement and knows very little about it. She just chooses some of it to study (confirmation bias) and picks and chooses things she likes to express to others. Now this is usually no problem, we all do this. But she is trying to sound like a high authority of the new age movement, in which she absolutely is NOT. Then she tries to act like she knows everything and she is preaching a serman of her beliefs and behaves as if they can not be questioned. This is obvious religious doctrine. But its not an organized religion, she is merely picking and choosing things she has read to produce her own version, essentially creating her own religion. She speaks of illuminati and has a very limited knowledgebase yet acts like she is an expert on how we should all behave towards this group.

Right on, Teal, right on! This is perhaps the finest explanation of the New Age Movement I have ever heard. Especially the part about it being totally accepting of ALL beliefs supportive of serving humanity. Christianity is the polar opposite, totally exclusionary to all but its own teachings, rituals, and beliefs. Truth be told, that’s why I no longer call myself a Christian, for it has strayed so far from the path of true righteousness and compassion, instead replacing unconditional love with religious superiority, condemnation and judgment. The Illuminati is simply a group of international bankers, multi-national corporations, and a few controlling families like J.D. Rockefeller and the Rothschilds, seeking world power and domination at all costs, using money, influence, and raw power to enforce their personal agendas. The New Age Movement is anything but.

But what they mean I think, when they say that is, when people are running around saying light & love all the time pretending bad things don’t happen & that if you ignore it they never will! LOA isn’t about pretending bad things only happen if you secretly call for it. it’s about how you use any given situation positively or negatively. So ignoring the shit bags of the world won’t make them go away & of you don’t act your lack of action will bite you in the ass eventually! Teal explained the New Age movement perfectly. The purpose of the movement is to help us discover how to connect with source so as to align with our true identity and purpose in this life. Then, from that perspective, we can have some positive impact on the world situation, IF WE TAKE ACTION. A distorted teaching would leave out the part about acting in the world, and say it’s enough to just create your own reality within you head. That is the trick some people fall prey to. But that certainly does not invalidate the entire New Age movement. But it does mean that we cannot leave our discernment at the door and get caught up in teachings that are distorted for someone’s ulterior agenda. For example, the Berg’s take on Kaballah and The Secret. They seem to be targeting gullible people who really don’t think for themselves. On the other hand, Teal seems to be just the opposite. I witnessed so much hippocracy in these churches. I knew as a child there had to be something different, something that was truth and not lies and pain. A destructive criticism is somebody who criticize just for the sake of criticizing and not giving another “better” solution in return. Usually this type is not to give a constructive feedback but to undermine the other. The ‘love’ on this material plane eventually becomes dry and exhausted, which is why we are always seeking a eternal never ending love that’s perpetually expanding. We’ll not find ‘pure love’ in sharing one another for the simple reason no-one can love us the way we want them to, we feel cheated in some way and become bitter,& we always want something in return, which means selfishness; lust basically. There is no such thing as “false belief” because humans can create their own reality. For an example “they believe that meditating is healing and path to enlightenment, the others believe that meditating is demonic. I’m going to cut this short, we all create our own belief and once we truly believe, it becomes a part of our own reality, but because of this we think it is the truth, but in this case it is just the truth of one reality. And often people get so attached to their belief that they become ignorant and arrogant over other realities. Which is also why we have opinions, peace and love.
Yeah and the idea that you should choose beliefs that serve you is destructive and selfish. It doesn’t promote freedom: it promotes attaching yourself to a destructive lie because it “feels good”. Are we serving ourselves, or are we serving God? If we want truth, it has to be just as true outside ourselves within us. To turn inward in your search for God catalyzes this. You get to form your own personal bubble and ascribe to beliefs that may seem true to the inner you, but are not grounded in outside reality. The idea that you can achieve enlightenment on your own is not rooted in reality evident from the rate of genetic decay of our DNA. We are actually devolving genetically… look it up. It may feel good to think we can evolve, but the truth is we can’t and we aren’t, and that is why we seek Jesus and rely on God because only he can return us to the state we were in before the fall of man, and only He can make us clean and perfect. That happens when God chooses, not when we choose.
The short answer is YES. The New Age Movement is nothing more than an updated version of the ancient mystic religions or paganism. It’s the idea that we all have infinite wisdom and power within ourselves i.e. we are all gods. They wrap is all up in a pretty bow that preaches love and harmony with nature blahblahblah. Maybe do a article on the insidiousness of love in a power imbalanced relationship then because the way the new age movement bandies this word around love is just another spiritual bypass. Notice that the new age movement is a very incredibly white space too where they have the privilege of saying things like, “love is the answer” when they don’t have to recognize the power imbalances between race, gender, or class. It sets up paradigm of moral relativity were as long as you have good intentions your hands are clean of any negative outcomes for normalcy your privilege affords you. So you can have culpability without all the side effects. I would like to argue that shintoism, despite its vagueness of definition, in its core does not reject christian teaching, it conveys undogmatic ideas of inclusiveness and freedom of belief. Shintoism has been remodeled according to the idea of christian monotheism in the 19th century in order to serve as a emperor centered worship system that can foster secular, nationalistic ideas. It may be claimed that many japanese people have lost sight of the Shinto core meaning. However today, It is curious to observe that shintoism seems to integrate the discourse of the new age movement into its own indigenous tradition, and somewhat rediscover its own meaning thanks to the western influenced spirituality boom. I think of new age, although oftentimes used pejoratively, as a global new spiritual paradigm, rather than movement, which transcends religions, and helps world religons to reconsider their core meanings, pointing perhaps generally towards a direction of meta-religions.
So i found that several beings had a realy bad experience with practices of the new age movment. The reason often is, that they start intence practices out of a lack cociousness, develop a spiritual ego, atract demons cuz they are still at a frequncy of lack and fear, condem everything and convert tl christianity. I dlnt think thats bad, its a part of ther journey i guess, but i think it shows again how much responsibility comes with making such knoleg easely available on the internet. Kids find it, have no idea or suport and guidenc in the phisical world, and suffer. My life experiences have revealed many things. I had been in a fear based conspiracy type mindset in the past, and for those of you reading, just know that it’s ok to question governments and corporations, I totally get you 🙂 but also be aware of the “conspiracy of conspiracies”, in other words there are people exploiting your fears, selling you products or thinly veiled political ideas. Conspiracy theories are a step in your learning, but you are not ment to stay in that negative thought paradigm. You will wake up to the different layers of truth. You have more power than you realize. Why worry about chemtrails when you willingly buy poison and put it on your weeds? Why worry about trace amounts of flouride when you willingly buy junk and consume it? Why worry about the ‘new world order’ when the old world order has been oppressing us for thousands of years? You see so many things just boil down to centuries of greed and lies. So ask yourself, what can i do to make the future a great and wonderful place, both for myself and others 🙂

I am a Conspiracy Theorist and had an Awaking experience a few years ago in which I could clearly see all the corruption and evil in the world and how it was all very much connected. I felt strong Spiritual forces guiding me to learn and read more on these negative aspects. Because of my awaking I have no fear now but feel a strong need to inform others of what is really going on in the world and to stand up against what is corrupt. I can physically feel my soul cry because of the physical and spiritual poisoning of the Earth and must do my part. Knowledge is power and not fear. I came from a strict Catholic background, a faith I believed in very much and it was Earth scattering to then question my beliefs during my Awaking. I naturally explored New Ageism and found many things that disagreed with me or too bizarre to want to accept. I came across lot of New Agers condemning Christianity but didn’t understand why because Jesus teachings are beautiful. I was very confused as to which path was truth early on, there are so many different teachings. I now just take from the teachings that feel right for me and I don’t stress over it. I have never felt more secure.
Ascension doesn’t necessarily have to be a strictly new age concept.. that would be limiting. It is moreso specifically the context of how that “ascension” should or will occur, what it will look like i.e. details of how it will happen that would be the subject of new age doctrine. There is a widely spread conceptualized idea of ascension across pretty much all forms of religion or beliefs that appears in the background as the seemingly obtainable “goal” of practitioners for the future apocalypse or revelation, with common transcendental themes such as unity and enlightenment. This is not surprising, seeing as most systems (in order for humans to believe or buy into them) require some form of truth to be embedded or associated with them. Whether the new age is a cultivation of half truth or absolute truth is not my call to make, and I would not associate the concept of ascension strictly with the new age movement but instead as more of a “topic” thereof. Ultimately, ascension is not limited to one system ascribed by man but is relevant to the truth of who you are which is unlimited and can only be found in nature. My advice: seek the true history and steer from those who have attempted to rewrite it. Ultimately, you are a living copy of the truth, and all the answers are within you. Connect with your mother, and she will provide and protect you. Be weary of those who will provide a false sense of protection i.e. your governments, who wish that you enslave yourself to the half of truth.

((Shorter Questions)) 1.Am I forcing myself into things I am not ready for? 2.By believing these things could my mind be fascinating, not accepting reality for what it truly is, and just seeing it how I wish to see it? E.g. The Law of Attraction being by chance. 3.The spirits giving us this knowledge are they 100% good or do they have a hidden agenda? 4.If the Illuminati succeeds won’t this be their religion? – New Age – New World? ((In Depth Questions)) The first lie Satan told Eve is that she will be as God, isn’t that the same thing the New Age believes? Could this be Satan telling his lies again, or is he a manufactured part of my sub-concious through fear? I have had two experiences where I believe Satan was talking directly to me, One in a dream the other through an old man. The Bible condemns acts such as contacts with Spirits, Numerology, Astrology etc, but it also says we should kill practitioners of such things, I don’t believe killing anyone for such things would be the true word of God, but rather to show them they are doing wrong and help them convert to God.

But I’d say, we are waiting for the most valued prophecies embraced by ancient verified religions such as the “Final War”(Control vs Faith), and the moment of “Heaven or Hell Determination”/”Judgement Day”. That’s funny. I have since my younger years I have been able to fuse some of the core values of different religions… Including Shananism, without having any oersonal, judgemental gipod in the picture without considering myself as a part of any “New Age movement”…..Yet I an sttill labelled as a xultist by dogmatists because I have studied world religions my adult life without submitting to any of them….
I bear witness to that there is only one God to be worshipped, and Mohamed is the messanger from God. And I bear witness to that the son of Mary is the messanger from God and Moses and Abraham and Noah. The world didn’t come into existence by luck. Jesus is a greek name and he will come to claim he is God. Then God will return the Son of Mary to slay Jesus and he will claim that he is not God but that he is the messanger of God and he will continue his preaching of the oneness of the Creator of all things. Christianity beliefe is constructed by the Romans, it is a twist of the preaching of the Messiah. Christianity is a favour for the final stage of the hidden master of the Roman empire; the One Eyed Deceiver.

All this new age talk is just a long winded way of old sayings. “Trust your gut”, “What goes around comes around”, “You can’t live others until you love yourself” and so on. Like washing spinning in a washing-machine thoughts go round and round. We need to focus on what is around us and inside us more – and THEN think. Not think (according to how our families and societies and friends have conditioned us to think) and THEN try to see. I notice how so many of these comments come from borrowed beliefs and ideas. Even Teal (God Bless her she’s so beautiful) herself keeps on referring to “WE” when referring to “New Age” teachers as if there was some kind of REAL entity called the New Age and REAL representatives of such an entity. I am not saying these concepts are not useful. But they must be seen for what they are – useful tools – but not Reality itself which lies beyond the thinking mind. Observe your thoughts and feelings – not judgmentally – for what they are. See how they go from past to future, from here to there and from this person to that person. Notice how as you do this that which is happening (sights sounds smells touch) is kept largely at bay, retreating into a kind of fog around you. It may take years and years of practice or it may happen in an instant to awaken to this utterly amazing unconditionally beautiful hereness and vastness which is available 25/8. Oh the beauty. Personally i’d say the likes of Doreen Virtue definitely the most un authentic new ager out there going and her ’empire’ is just solely to make money and completely commercially based and does not reflect the new age in a favourable light… if shes an authentic medium and angel wisperer then i’m a green horse with wings! Naturally you have to question what she’s putting out there to many of the newbies to the new age movement on the block so to speak that she attracts because they will just try what she says ‘cos it must be right if she has so many books & cds etc’ Her work I feel can be quite dangerous despite her so called disclaimers, the cd’s for example you have no idea what you’re projecting out there to the universe and what they are doing to change your life for the worse or better (for the worst as I found out). No where in teals work does she encourage you to worship false gods or cosmic order anything like these others for which Doreen Virtue is just one, however teal focuses on shifting the inner shadow stuff which is essential before starting to attract any good stuff into your life and this is only possible cleanly after you’ve done the hard work to clear the shadows in ones self first. These issues however are never mentioned funnily enough by other new age teachers who are wanting to basically put stuff out there for commercial based reasons, ummmm. I love teals work and also Caroline Myss’s work I resonate with along with Byron Katie. However Vitue and the rest can get off the commercial train now and stop creating their own dark karma by stop putting so much rubbish out there to unsuspecting trusting public.

My only complaint about this article right now is that ad at the beginning, which says at the end, “we will not reward procrastinators”. All religion’s name are just asking for seperation. Each religion wants attention and performance. If you’re already one with everyone than theres no need for attention, performance, or (physically)”separating” yourself with names. Even new age is like no other religious name, still seperation. Than what’s the purpose of names, to reveal the spirit of whoever it is, but even i must let go of pride. No one Is perfect, every religion has awakened individuals. 🙂
There ain’t no freaking illuminati, fools. The conspiracys are actualy out in the open, the evidence is not hard to find. Looking for fantastic, all encompasing conspiracies is a waste of time and energy. The new age movement is a mix of wisdom, sillyness and charlatons. It is an umbrella term, every group within it is different. Be an educated consumer in the spiritual market place.
New Age was actually developed out of Jewish Mysticism but they left out G-d with the rise of Babylon. Same spiritual principles still apply whether you walk with G-d or not. Jewish people are just way more blessed when it comes to actual material manifestation because G-d made and still honors the covenant He has with them.
It’s all about whats real, what is fact. I don’t believe in conspiracies but I do believe in facts. A lot of things in a lot of different things one call him/herself is not always fact. Fact always is. Fact is that life is a moment right now. I am writing this and you the reader when I am doing something completely else are now doing something else in our constantly shared now. Fact is also we live in systems with money. And fact is money is totally corrupt to the core being created to enslave. This fact has only in recent years reach an enormous mass of people. So this fact will soon end and the corrupt elements a lot refer to as “Illuminati” will loose their main weapon of enslavement = money. thanks Teal, I intuit that the most trustworthy choice that i can make is for me to stand between the new-agers, scientists, spiritualists, and mathematicians, so i can find that which is exclusively agreed between any one party in their own (delusions, or factual conclusions?) not limiting to parties listed, and see if there are ways to blend such ideas just to spice up life a little. 9-7-2013 ~ I saw this awhile back. It has a basically good intention, though she slips into a lot of New Age confusion as to the nature of connected reality. The New Age Movement aka NAM has helped to clarify a lot of confusion in the world, yet some of its proponents has also made some people more dumbed down than ever. There is so much overlap between the more intelligent anti nwo people’s ideas and the wiser new age peoples- (or people who’s ideas largely fit into the new age movement.) We’ll ALL need to focus more on what we have in common with others instead of what we disagree on. ive heard this conspiracy, I think there are two sides of it just like there are two sides in every group. not every catholic priest is a child molester, not every Muslim wants to kill and rape women, etc etc etc. consider for a moment that the serin gas attack in japan back in the 90s by Aum Shinrikyo, they were Buddhist(kinda). i listened to this one guy who said alan watts was part of the conspiracy, and sure it might be because he has done so much for me through the years, but like Teal swan, I just dont see alan watts giving enough of a fuck to be a part of something so serious, stupid and destructive. stupidity is a virus and it infects everything beautiful. to me, this is the meaning of our fall from Edin. we got infected with stupidity.

But some weird stuff has been happening and got me questioning is the new age and awakening a second form of mind control?
my belief system is exactly what you described,a collection of belief from all beliefs system in which we feel are true and resonate whit us put together,whit the exception that I went 1 step further and also took all things from the new age movement that I felt to be just and true and made this my personal belief system which is based on a mix from Christianity,Buddhism,and new age…but also from things I hold has personal beliefs from personal experiences ie:non terrestrial/non 3rd dimensional life….so I suppose in the end,my beliefs might come close to matching some of other people out there but still has a feel of uniqueness tailor made to my life’s experiences
Teal, I agree with you to a great extent. the physical consequences of the people around us also have a great effect on the way we create our reality. for example, a child in the Congo may think what a nice day to play outside! then a group of soldiers still comes and forces them to mine for minerals. that kind of shit happens every day in third world countries and it has nothing to do with the victims’ vibrational identities. I think it’s an oversight of the privilege of us on youtube to think it’s impossible to be controlled by anything external.
So I always had a curiosity to find a higher spiritual awareness. Believing in the new age gives me a sence of confidense to enbrace the life of peace that I have been living. The other philosophies promote debating differenses between all of us. Besides most wars in the small history of this civilization were due to opposing philosophies. We are all ONE, so lets start acting like it.

I would distrust anyone who makes claims that they can’t backup via a scientific experiment. Surely some of the names “new agers’ are calling their babies comes close to child abuse. I would say they knew consciousness was going to expand and love would increase at this time and so they have tried to infiltrate and steer it for their own purposes. The movement is real, just some of it’s people and content aren’t… and i include the sheep in sheep’s clothing in that, as we weren’t meant to be sheep or wolves.
However Kryon says The Light is winning and i try to stay away from the mainstream media that feed people with fear and they are trying to spread confusion and chaos among spiritual seekers. I only trust my heart and what makes me feel inner peace and let love guide me not fear that is why i am so grateful to The New Age Movement that awakened the spiritual yearning inside my heart. Hello my name is satine recently I discover the word empath I am able since age of 7 years old to tell if someone is suffering from a mental illness I seem to be able to enter the person point of blockage ~usually in childhood and to connected there with the person to feel what they feel and to know what events have brought damage to them and created their condition I thought I was an empath but this is not empath ability I am trying to find out what it is Not only I able to feel and understand and visualise the point of contact with the traumatic events but I can see how to release it For many years I was able to tell the person concern what I thought Not once I questioned or got question how I knew until now I suffer greatly from this as I dont know how to manage it properly Most the people I shared my thoughts with them have enter counselling any idea? whats going on with me please?

The way i percieve so-called god has been redefined in my experience these last few years,we have to include all we can percieve and beyond,not forgetting ourselves* we have to be part of the body of reality to percieve,and effect beyond our so-called physical bodies,everyone is truly part of that in which we can percieve and feel,this can get very in depth,and i have also found that for one to have a heightened awareness,there is another that has a greater awareness already,it all ties in to our collective conciousness,the best way to say this is,we are on a definate ascension to a positive growth phase,much like to the meaning of,the old reality was getting boring,and non-productive,as we also can see that we are beyond the potential that we once thought we were* never doubt your potential 😉 and expect what you seek to become manifested before you can really do anything when you believe you are at that point of manifesting*
