  • I lost my mother in 2018. Her body was kept for 2 days as I was in US. When I reached india and saw my mom’s body i was totally lost but when i hugged my mom’s body i kept on saying and crying .. please hold my hand once mom please almost for 10 min… i dont know what happened but her hands did clutch my hands and i felt the presence. I told this to my grandma n few others.. no one believed me but that one moment made me quiet that yes even though my mother died she fulfilled my wish 😭😭😭..

  • Once you have been outside your body you will understand the impact of how this is a shell, big wakeup time but what a wonderful experience, to know we are more than our shell. My daughter passed at 21 and I do not feel sad as I know she is still with me praise god, I hope everyone can be comforted bless you all amen

  • sadhguru just described a verse in the Bhagavad Gita that says: “For what is born, death is certain and for what is dead, birth is certain. so why do you have to worry?”. About me: Hey guys, I’m interepreting all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita that is suitable in modern times. Feel free to check that out. Thank you.

  • Nijinsky is the ballot dancer Sadhguru is talking about, Nijinsky not only jumps so high defying gravity during his dance but he also comes down slowly like a feather. This confused physicists who saw him at that time of dancing and they thought there is probably a law of levitation also present just like law of gravitation.

  • Wow !!! I feel deep connection with my mil after she passed away. When she passed away, I kept standing near her whole time for like 15 mins until the docs asked me to leave. After 14 days that I kept getting dreams about my mil, in my dreams she would say ” I am fine and doc has revived me” This dream I got multiple times!!

  • Umm listening with intent and definitely new learnings! This has prompted a flashback moment about my life experiences around this topic… where on several occasions I have been present when a whanau (family) member is about to leave our world – to journey on to the next😥💖 …and in deep thought I have wondered about the actual timeline of when the spirit leaves the physical vessel (body). With both my ears and eyes wide open😍👌🏼 … I am grateful and humble to receive Sadhguru knowledge and experiences around the spiritual, emotional, physical, cultural, traditional practices, medical and science information when life leave the body…..very interestings. Sadhguru Thank you xo👍🏼🙏🏻🌻

  • Some QUOTES Here When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.” –Audre Lorde 66. “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” –Mark Twain 67. “The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus.” –Bruce Lee My passion is Making animated self help articles, I started making them 🙂 have a look 😊

  • My grandmother died when she was given a blood from a person. She was given a blood at the age of 85 at this stage she or her system could not accept the blood given by a young and at the end she died within 24 hours I strongly believe acceptance is always not up to our brain and will it’s also up to our own bloods they have power of acceptance too

  • Respected Sadhguruji, I have a question. I am a seeker and I keep seeking answers to things I do not know which is alot. I really love and admire this article written ( What Is Death? How Life Leaves The Body After Death by Sadguru (complete science of death) and I have also watched the article interview where this was discussed both are really insightful. But, recently I came across this and according to the Nisvasattvasamhita Nayasutra (6th-10th century) Praṇa is associated with the Heart and is responsible for Talking, laughing, singing, dancing, fighting, the arts, crafts, tasks. Apana is associated with downward breath which Lets food and drink enter the body, and waste move down and out of body. Udana is associated with upward breath located in the Throat. Responsible for Sneezing, hiccuping, vomiting, coughing. Samana is located in the Navel Mixes what is eaten and drank. And Vyana is located in All the joints and is responsible for Horripilation, bending of limbs, sense of touch. So which is more accurate please clarify this. Thank you.

  • Ummm interesting topic …listening with intent, humility, eyes & ears open towards this (definite) new learnings! This conversation also prompted a self life flashback moment. To cut through the chase, I have had several life experiences…where I have been present when a family member is about to leave our world, to journey to the next. During these moments I have thought about when the wairua (spirit) leaves the physical vessel (body) when does it leave? 💢 Extra special is hearing Sadhguru speak in brief his knowledge around spiritually beliefs, emotional feelings, traditional & cultural practices, medical & science knowledge and process … YES embracing this new learning 💯 Elder Sadhguru 🤍 T H A N K YOU xo👍🏼

  • So can udana sometimes leave us a little bit while we still have all of the 5 components of prana? Sometimes when I feel like I’m made of lead and I feel so very heavy as if I’m stuck to the ground by magnets. I can hardly lift my legs or arms to walk. Can udana decrease and increase at different times in our body’s lives? What causes this?

  • Scary if you’re still conscious perusal & Hearing everybody and can’t do nothing to get anybodies attention. But I’ve always been able to keep in touch with certain family members who have passed away – when I pay attention to Nature. Basically the Body is just a Vehicle & does not Matter… because the engine lives On.

  • beside human body, we do have our soul too………….that’s why it so confusing and people can’t figure out all the living thing in a human’s body still live but that person already death……….you guy should discuss more about our soul and how it exist in a body in the future next article…………..

  • Sadhguru, I was born en-caul amniotic sack was fully in tacked meaning, amnio fluid had not ruptured. I was outside of my mother’s womb inside my bubble I was also born at home at 8 am on 02/02/1975on the west coast. Mother says my eyes were wide open starring at her and not moving she thought I was still born. Dad broke water and, I still made no sounds till dad laid me on mom’s chest. I didn’t cry just made a lil noise. In your culture today, what is the reason from my past life is my soul trying to remind me of. Please can you talk about this.

  • One question”it is true that every organism in this earth goes through some sort of organic evolution and the organisms like us human beings had evolved and came A long way,So what made the human creature stop evolving and adapting,is it because of we think we are the best evolved creatures on the planet earth?”

  • Prana, Samana, Apana, udana, and vyana vayu. Prana- respiratory and thought process. Your respiratory action decline. Samana- generating heat in system. Body gets cold and become stiff. Apana- feeling sensations. Dead body moves a little bit. Twitching happens sensory is still on. Udana- bouyancy is gone. When you walk it’s not there. Body becomes heavy as bouyancy goes. Vyana- Body begin to ROT. (Vyana can take 14 days) One and half hour cremate them.

  • Regarding the 6m mark, I understand Udana Vayu is responsible for buoyancy and that is activated by the throat chakra (Udana Vay).. what the name of the Yogi or Chinese schools that teach how to become float slightly? And would walking counterclockwise around Mato Tipila / Bears Lodge, during a full-moon, wearing damp clothes possibly activate this chakra instantly? BTW, regarding how a body feels so much heavier when dead, yet weighs the same as when alive.. it reminds me of those spatial puzzles where you need to fit an extra piece into a triangular area that is already full.. however, just rearranging the pieces you can fill the same area with the extra piece!

  • i was wondering if animals are the same way. i just experienced a traumatic accident with my cat, he jumped off the roof and i rushed him to the clinic, crying. all mhy negative and sad emotions he probably could feel. once i got to the vet clinic they put him to sleep, in my own arms . his body went cold and his eyes stayed open . i see death in a whole different way now and i am really depressed. once he became motionless i left crying. im desperate for him to be in peace and desperate to know where hes at and i dont want him to feel bad emotions even after his body is gone. i cant get his body. i left him at the vet. pls tell me anything that might be good news. i dont want him suffering . i dont want to think about him suffering and not being in peace

  • Nothing to worry . The fear is in the realm of body and psyche. The so called beyond the body has nothing to fear because it has nothing to do with body’s existence. Fear or dislike for death is a natural instinct . Death is also a natural phenomenon. It is not a conflict between the two natural phenomenon but a smooth transition that realises both. It is rare to find an old person expressing fear of death. Death scares only those who are younger and fully indulged in life because the dream eternal life is realised in the bodily realm in that period. The realisation dawns slowly but certainly. It can be an unwilling acceptance of the inevitable or a true realisation of the temporal reality of the Bodily mansion of the Soul. It is vital to know that it is the Soul that took a temporary body as it’s abode for a while not the other way round, the body with a Soul.

  • there are many people out there, who are buried alive,or with their senses still intacted..it would be wiser to keep the dead bodies up to 7 days to see if that body will get back their prana vayu again.i would like to know,if there are some, impact or implication.if we are buried under other culture or other country.outside ours

  • The majority of humans is limited by the definition of what death is. Afterall the human senses are very limited regarding sight and sound. The human eye can only detect a small portion of the light spectrum. The human ear can only detect a fraction of the audio frequencies. There could be much activity going on within these realms than we a capable of ever detecting.

  • Death is not a scary thing.. For those who have know the truth.. However.. Death is a very a scary thing.. For those who don’t know the truth yet.. KEMATIAN BUKANLAH HAL YG MENAKUTKAN BAGI MEREKA YANG TELAH MENGETAHUI AKAN KEBENARAN.. TETAPI KEMATIAN ADALAH SEBUAH BENCANA YANG SANGAT BESAR, BAGI MEREKA YANG BELUM MENGETAHUI AKAN KEBENARAN.. BAGI MEREKA YANG TELAH MENGETAHUI AKAN KEBENARAN, KEMATIAN ADALAH SEBUAH ANUGRAH DAN HADIAH YANG BEGITU BESAR.. KARENA KEMATIAN ADALAH JALAN UNTUK BISA BERTEMU DENGAN SANG KEKASIH..

  • I have few questions.. 1. I don’t believe in anything, except humanity… I have done a lot of things that were outside dharma.. example : I drink alcohol and I smoke… However I ensure that I feed someone who approaches me for food… Am I dharmic guy… 2. As per the end results of Mahabharata, there were few things that were aligned to this YUG, like you good deeds and you’ll have a peaceful life, but as it is said KALYUG, whoever follows dharma will not end peaceful… Example … I had chances where I could end up being a millionaire and I wanted to do justice for everyone who are not well to do… Though I won’t be able to help everyone, but whoever I can

  • I think that Everything is electric and magnetic Life is energy the body is a expression vessel space ship to transfer emit and grow negitive or positive energy before during and after. The energy dose not deplete until the connection is released electricly the charged particles spirit travels and reconnects magneticly
