Magic Bag is a natural and eco-conscious product that offers natural and soothing relief for aches, pains, stress, and fatigue. It is filled with organic grains, which allow for both heat and cold compresses when they are most needed for the body. To heat up the Magic Bag securely, place it in the center of the microwave and spread the grains evenly. If the bag is too long to fit in, fold it in half and allow the pack to cool for at least 1 hour before using.
To clean your JanSport backpack, follow these easy tips:
Make yourself a “magic bag” by opening up the seam, dump out the filling, wash it by hand or in a machine with towels, then fill it back up and sew it closed. Machine wash the cover on cold and pop it in the dryer. (Or, hang it dry to save on hydro.) Wash the cover monthly or every 10-20 uses. For extra sterility, shower, wear clean clothes, and use a face mask during inoculation.
Use one of the included alcohol wipes and wipe down the cover with a wet towel if necessary. Rinse the bag mainly in the kitchen and store it on a soap dish with ridges to dry.
As a 100 natural product, Magic Bag cannot be washed. Instead, consider purchasing a custom-made cotton cover for Neck-to-Neck.
Wash the Magic Bag without problem (gentle cycle, cold water). However, don’t suggest drying it in the dryer.
Do not use bleach. Although nonperishable materials are not rotting, it is not recommended to wash a microwavable heating pad in a washing machine.

Cotton and hemp reusable grocery bags are easy to wash in cold water, but screenprinted or dyed bags should be tested before washing. Polyester bags can be machine washed, but poly-canvas bags should be avoided as they can shrink and wrinkle. Nonwoven polypropylene, jute, and recycled PET bags are harder to clean and should be hand washed in warm, antibacterial soapy water. They should air dry completely, both inside out and right side out, to prevent moisture retention.
Nylon or poly-nylon bags should also be hand washed in warm soapy water and hung to dry, both inside out and right side out, to remove moisture on the inside. Machine washing can shorten the bag’s lifespan and can ruin it. Hand washing ensures that all seams, nooks, and crannies are dry and mold-resistant.
Can I throw a bag in the washing machine?
To clean a backpack, first remove everything from the bag and compartments, storing them in a plastic bag. Clean or replace any soiled items to prevent re-contamination. Use a handheld vacuum to remove crumbs and dust from the crevices, or a makeup brush for hard-to-remove debris. Prepare the bag for washing by removing any metal frame and leaving all pockets unzipped. Pre-treat any stains by adding a small amount of stain remover to the stain and allowing it to sit for 30 minutes before washing. Place the bag in a laundry-safe bag to avoid straps and zippers getting caught in the machine.
Wash backpacks once or twice a year, especially during extended school breaks and trips. Spot treat any stains as quickly as possible to prevent them from setting in. Clean the interior every two weeks to remove debris and deodorize every few months or whenever an unpleasant odor is noticed. For gym bags, more frequent washing is needed due to body odors and sweat buildup. If using a backpack outdoors for hiking or other activities, clean it after each use, wiping away dirt, insects, or elements that have soiled it.

Can you put reusable bags in the dishwasher?
To ensure the longevity of your reusable bags, check if they are dishwasher-safe and use a normal, not overly hot cycle for washing. If not, hand-wash the bags with dish soap, hot tap water, and a soft kitchen sponge or bottle brush. Always clean the closure seal and bottom corners of the bag.
Never turn the bags inside out for washing and drying, as this can damage the seal and rip the seams. Dry the inside completely to prevent mold and bacterial growth. Never store a damp bag, as most moisture can be removed with a dish towel. A bag drying rack is recommended for good air circulation and confined storage in a smaller area.
For food storage, choose a strong, leakproof bag that closes securely without a fuss and keeps food fresher for longer. Stains can be persistent and may never fully come out, but they lighten gradually as you wash and use the bag a few more times.
In summary, reusable bags are a great way to keep food fresh and clean, but it’s essential to choose a strong, leakproof bag that closes securely and keeps food fresher for longer.

Thank you Andrea Jean! I love your content including your workout articles. I use freezer bags for everything you showed. Even mitten gloves. If I have an empty freezer bag in your car say from your trail mix or popcorn, snacks I always keep it and use it for trash in my car. You can use them in a3 ring binder. I’m a teacher lol😂. Punch 3 holes on the closed end you can organize all kinds of things depending on the size of your binder. Decorate it if it’s going to set out. Electronic cords, recipes, extra office supplies, the sky is the limit.
If you have a bag sealer machine put an extra seal across the bottom. The acid in the marinade probably eats thru the Amazon seal line. Or seal your meat and marinade in a bag from your machine. You can wash it out and reuse it. Or you can put your meat and marinade in a bowl and cover it with a reusable lid. A package of three silicone lids are inexpensive and last forever.
It may be great to not have plastic bags in those 12 states, but if you’ve got groceries in paper bags and it’s raining and no garage (like me) your bags are going to probably tear apart and you’ll have groceries on the grouind!!! I applaud Wal-Mart and Kroger who have bins inside the store for people to bring their bags back for recycling!! I get Kroger delivery a couple times a month and after they drop off my groceries they ask if I have any bags to return!
