Brittany! I have the best mom tip that was every given to me, if you have never tried it I promise of you try it that it WILL work. Lay onesies with poopy blowouts in the sun for about 30 minutes to an hour. The sun bleaches put the stain. This tip has saved so many adorable items of clothing for my daughter. It works without any pretreatment. Just rinse out the itemin the sink then lay on the sun. BAM! It is new again.
These are fantastic tips! I was literally yelling out all the ideas to my fiancé haha and told him we need to try all these ideas. They have an off brand “Scrub Buddies” at the Dollar Tree. I don’t know how the quality compares but they are 2 for $1! And we’ve used the Dollar Tree ones and they worked well for us!

VasseurBeauty: I was stunned when you said the sponge works better when its wet. No kidding! That’s like saying the car works better when it has gas in the tank. And for heaven’s sake DO NOT use this on a keyboard as you recommend in this article. We agree that the sponge needs water, however the last thing you want on a keyboard is liquid!! As soon as the liquid hits the circuits under the keys you will loose some if not all of your keys. Anyone who’s spilled on a keyboard knows this.

I would NOT recommend using that on your skin from personal experience. Magic erase doesn’t contain chemicals but it works cuz it’s basically the same as sandpaper. I had this brilliant idea to take it to my neck to remove hair dye and I didn’t need to scrub long at all, I was impressed until …… a few mins later and my neck is flaming red and burned more than anything I’ve experienced in my life! I called poison control freaking out and the worker told me that it’s sandpaper and it sanded the top layers of my skin and there’s nothing I could do about it. So, wanted to mention it to save someone the pain I endured.

Recently spent hours trying to scrub many many marks off my walls, mostly put there by my son… We used a dollar tree brand eraser for this and it took a lot of effort – went through SO many sponges though- and got a fair amount off but not most of it. Thinking to try again w brand ME s and see if that helps!

Have to share, not sure if it works everywhere this well but I live just outside of la and since the sun is so intense- for baby poop stains: Wash and line dry outside in the sun- the yellow will be gone. Doesn’t work as well if the item has been dried. I do the same thing for my husbands white shirts that turn yellow- I’ll sun those as well and they look like new in just a day!

On a different note, I really don’t like those lights on the bookshelf. They are very distracting. It would be great if you could remove them. Your bookshelf still looks pretty but they are so distracting it’s hard to focus on what you’re saying. They remind me of snowflakes falling when you view someone’s article and it is so annoying. You just have to be careful with Magic Erasers (or the generic versions) – they are made of something similar to ground glass, and can cause severe irritation when used on skin, especially the face. Also they can scratch things easily, so if it’s something you care about always test on something else or on a place where you can’t see
