Could I Utilize Fir Cave Osrs Blood Spells?

A user in Old School RuneScape is seeking advice on using blood spells for healing in fight caves, a challenging bossing activity. Other users provide suggestions on gear, switches, and alternatives to blood spells. Blood spells are one of four Ancient Magicks combat spells that heal the caster by 25 of the damage dealt. They can be useful for killing Jad, the final boss of the Fire Cave, and can be used for Melee combat within the caves.

In addition to blood spells, players can bring the Melee helm in the inventory for Melee combat within the caves, using weapons like the Saradomin godsword. To complete the Fight Caves minigame in Old School RuneScape, players should bring more magic potions and prayer potions than with ranging. Blood Burst is a level 68 Ancient Magicks spell that can heal the caster and damage up to nine targets in a 3×3 grid.

Blood spells from the Ancient Magicks are recommended for primary healing and emergency healing, but it may not be the best idea to use magic as it will be slow. Players should also consider using Guthan’s during the Fight Cave and make mage pots flasks to ensure they won’t run out. Sweets can be used unless blood spells are used, but this can be expensive.

How long does TzHaar Fight Cave take?

The Fight Cave is a challenging and time-consuming battle that requires a significant amount of ammunition and potions. It is recommended that players use Ranged for most of the run, as it allows them to safely spot monsters and attack them from a distance. Melee is necessary for the elite Combat Achievement Facing Jad Head-on, but other magic is not recommended. Completing the Fight Cave takes over an hour for lower-level players and requires at least the levels recommended for their chosen combat method.

The Toxic blowpipe, requiring 75 Ranged, is effective against all enemies in the Fight Caves, up to TzTok-Jad. Despite being less accurate and having a lower max hit than crossbows, its overall damage output is much higher due to its attack speed of 2 ticks on rapid. The Toxic siphon, a special attack, provides healing, making it the top choice for a single weapon for the entire run.

  • I just checked this again today and it still works! There are a few things that seem to be a little unclear from the article: – You don’t need to enter the fight pits, it’s just a teleport to get to Mor Ul Rek more quickly. You could walk there too, if you wanted. It’s under the volcano on Karamja. – You need to pick a quest to start and then the game will set you up with items and stats, and for beneath cursed sands, one of the items is a fire cape, allowing you to enter the inner city. – The challenge area is to the south-east of the inferno entrance. Unfortunately this same setup does not allow you to practice the inferno, but sometimes you can do something similar when there are Beta Worlds online.

  • This got me my firecape. I’d done probably 20+ attempts over my 15 year journey with RS and after a failed attempt on speedrunning worlds I was able to beat the challenge and even lasted a few minutes against double Jad. My confidence against Jad was improved 3000% doing this method and I honestly don’t know how I even struggled before.

  • Wow, this will help me so much. I’ve been playing this game for 20 years and have never gotten a fire cape. I never had the time or patience to sit through 63 waves of the most annoying and boring gameplay to get 1 attempt at the boss to try and learn this shit so I never bothered. However if I can actually spend some time getting used to the timing and building up the muscle memory (and gain some confidence) without the pressure of restarting at wave 1 if I screw up then maybe I can finally get a cape on my ironman. Thanks for the concise and to the point article showing exactly what I needed.

  • Dude thank god you told me this. I was sooo fucking tired of getting 0 practice in on jad. Tired of wasting 1 hour to fet 20 seconds of combat with Jad to panic and not get the mechanics right to the point I juat gave up on the idea of a cape and about to pay some1 $25 to possibly get my account banned of what is some of the easiest content in the game ive played for 20 years for.

  • Love the concise and to the point article. Need to train for jad, but dont wanna waste a ton of money on pots trying to do the real thing learning how to beat Jad. I suck at using hotkeys because i’m not much of a pker, but maybe it’s time to get good at it for the sake of PvM at least. My account isn’t a good build for pking anyways at 80 att/str 77 def/range, 68 prayer, 82 hitpoints and 99 mage.

  • Btw if anyone needs it, if you search OSRS Jad Simulator, there’s an actual mod someone created where you are just fighting jad over and over. All you can do is switch your prayers to get use to his attacks. Can’t do damage to him and there’s no healers phase on it but it’s incredibly helpful getting to practice hearing and seeing his attacks before you go into the fight. I highly recommend!

  • Lol I had way too much confidence in myself. I didn’t have time to do a first ever full attempt at fire capeJad so I decided to see how I did following your guide against just jad. Thought I’d kill him first try… Nope, I think I’ve died to silly things like 5 or 6 times… Need to try a few more times. The healers killed me one of the times, which was unexpected. Thank heavens for your guide because I would have been so frustrated with losing in the real thing.

  • This actually made me so much more confident in doing this. Even on mobile. I don’t have a pc or laptop right now. I’ve been playing for years, and I have so much good gear, high stats, 90 range right now. But I hate walking around with an obby cape all because I’ve been so nervous or scared or something of just doing the damn boss haha. Thank you!

  • How to actually do Jad : Be maxed, be on a Jad slayer task, have the karamja elite diary done and remember you do have a free rez and ofc be almost maxed gear (excluding T.Bow,Masori chest+pants and zeryte bracers, no real person can afford all that, blowpipe+arma chest/pants+barrows gloves will do just fine).Even then, it’s still a friggin big challenge because when it’s time to tag the healers YOU WILL lose focus and mess your prayer switches . And no, i’m joking, this is how i did it

  • Tip: use black chins to tag the healers. What this means is hit all healers with black chins so they focus on killing you and not healing jad. Do not kill the healers or they will respawn and heal jad. Chins explode and can hit multiple targets which is why you use them. It’s much quicker than in clicking each healer individually with a blow pipe. Also, go budget setup but when you get to jad switch to dragon darts. Don’t use dragon darts the whole cave because they are expensive. Lastly, pray range when jad does his first attack because he almost always hits range first. One more thing (lol) turn on game audio because you can hear what attacks he will use. Last one I promise: when jad stands on his hind legs and holds his stance it means he either hits range or magic… I forgot which one. Learn this so you can predict his attack and not get hit

  • Here’s a little known tip for you guys I learned after perusal one of Rendi’s low level combat fight caves attempts. The rotation for the fight caves spawns are on a timer, so which rotation you get depends on what time you ENTER the caves, according to the in-game clock, which you can find in the clan chat tab. It took a little math, but I figured out the times (UTC) that you can enter the caves to get the rotation where Jad spawns behind Italy rock as shown in the article and you can “safespot” him. When the healers spawn I tag each one and then run behind Italy rock so that I can kill the healers without having to worry about prayer switching. I do this every time I get a Jad task and it makes it easy and stress free to have the same rotation every time. AM or PM does not make a difference for these times. They are: 1:05 1:21 1:37 1:53 2:09 2:25 2:41 2:57 3:13 3:29 3:45 4:01 4:17 4:33 4:49 5:05 5:21 5:37 5:53 6:09 6:25 6:41 6:57 7:13 7:29 7:45 8:01 8:17 8:33 8:49 9:05 9:21 9:37 9:53 10:09 10:25 10:41 10:57 11:13 11:29 11:45 12:01 12:17 12:33 12:49 Remember, go off the time that it says in the client (UTC), not your computer clock time. Hope this helps someone complete the fight caves their first time!

  • For remembering which animation does what attack I like to think about it logically. Slamming the ground makes a rock fall from the roof which is a physical attack so ranged, standing up to shoot a fireball is magic so mage. Helped me to remember which is which but maybe that’s just me who needed that. When it got tense I tended to blank out but this helped

  • It’s absolutely worth noting that you’re further ahead to pray range when Jad comes out of you’re not in view since the damage hits you 1t after the range sound (meaning you have to click the prayer exactly when you hear the sound) compared to the mage hit which is 3 ticks after the sound. Beginners, pray range at the beginning of the fight and change as needed.

  • For the healers, the big thing that helped me, was I brought some chins with me for my attempt. When the healers spawned, I waited for them to get next to jad, switched to chins, threw 1 chin, and it aggro’d 3 of the healers in one single attack. With the blowpipe, I was very easily able to out dps the only healer that was on jad. Sometimes you can even get all 4 healers in 1 single chin attack (depending on where they spawn/surround jad).

  • For anyone still trying pray ranged at level 7-30, mage from 31-jad. @jad just make sure u entered at the right time for the right rotation for ur method. Flick prays till healers, then one pray protect and healer tag at a time till u have all four. Then ignore them and tank to finish jad. Happy flicking.

  • This is just a personal preference but on the jad wave I keep up magic protection watch for his stomp and then swap to ranged, tank the hit and swap back magic because for me that stomp is such a tell to swap to ranged protection. I was messing up so much on his magic because he just rears back and stays and it would make me panic swap haha

  • Holy crap. I got my cape simply by heeding your advice, minding one line from the wiki, and using breathing techniques. X D Thank you so much. The whole article was most helpful, but what I needed to hear was the one action per prayer switch/Jad attack, and the healers were giving me the most trouble. That was a sweaty couple of minutes there, but I pulled it off with your advice! THANK YOU!! (This was my 4th honest attempt to get the damn thing, but I hate sitting down, and I hate wasting time even more. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!) Edit: The line from the wiki that got me through was something along the lines of not panicking when making a mistake, advising focus and calm, duh, but I needed to hear that and keep it in the forefront of the old noggin.

  • LMFAO. I have been playing since 2005 and I had no idea that the orange mage was where Jad spawned; I would literally just pray mage and look for him and hope he didn’t range me until I found him – I’ve gotten tons of fire capes in the past but haven’t played since trailblazer league and needed a refresher and this article helped more in the first 30 seconds than any article I’ve ever seen lol.

  • Got mine after playing the game for over 15 years, was a very emotional moment at my friends house almost cried, it is very hard these bosses as someone with ADD I hope to do some other bosses now! This was one of the main reasons I quit and came back multiple times, felt like if i couldnt do this I couldnt even do one of the most basic necessities in game.

  • Damn i gave up with this boss, i can’t kill the healers and even if i kill them they respawn and heal up jad real quick. Guess im just going to wear my ardougne cloak forever lol. EDIT: Finally i got my fire cape, had to grind my ass off to buy a toxic blowpipe and made things a lot easier in the fight caves. Remember guys, if you don’t have enough gold to buy a toxic blowpipe, buy some chinchompas to aggro the healers and then tank them or kill them. 😀 GL All.

  • one important thing to note about the sound cues: the ranged attack doesnt actually make any sound until it is too late to switch prayers. the mage attack does make the sound in time to change prayers. so you basically want to listen for the mage sound and if you dont hear it, pray range. if you do, pray mage. i had to tank a hit (luckily) because i was expecting that loud thud sound for the range attack and i didnt hear it til it was too late

  • I died the first time I got to Jad but it helped to not have the in-game sounds on. That shit got confusing once the healers came since they make their own sound. I recommend not taking your eyes off of Jad before he attacks and then once he does, you have a couple ticks to make a move before he attacks again. Use this time to restore hp or prayer and kill each healer individually rather than stacking them all at once. I got wrecked doing that on my pure.

  • How bout you say you need to move so the healers can actually aggro you. For a first time attempt, I’m hitting the healers but they are stuck behind the JAD, but mid anxiety and first time I’m not able to realize that until I’m 20hp then he melees me as I’m trying to move around him. Not YOU who caused my death, but I didn’t even consider they get stuck on him and heal him. That detail would’ve been great, js

  • Easy to finish if you are +75 defence, otherwise the healers will get the shit out of you, they hit hard, i have done some fight caves and my only advice is to kill the healers one by one, if you ste 75-80 range with blowpipe you should be fine killing them before they heal jad to full health, its safer and more chille than dealing with jad and tanking every healer.
