Do Aries People Follow Astrology?

Astrology is a complex field that has been studied by various zodiac signs, including Virgo, Aquarians, Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn, and Aries. These signs are believed to be a combination of curiosity and introspection, helping people make sense of life during complex times. The Barnum Effect, a social psychological concept, has been used to explain the widespread belief in astrology.

Aries individuals are more likely to believe in astrology than other zodiac signs, as they strive to embody the traits associated with their zodiac sign. However, this belief can impact an individual’s behavior, as they strive to embody the traits associated with their zodiac sign. Aries are known for being fiery, outgoing, and great dancers, but they may not be as competitive as others.

The Barnum Effect suggests that the key dogmas of astrology have not changed over the past 2,000 years. While Aries can connect with any zodiac sign, they must be mindful of friends and lovers who require gentle patience. Aries are known for their competitive nature, honesty, and directness, making them the least conflicted about their desires.

In conclusion, astrology is a fascinating field that has been studied extensively, with its beliefs and interpretations shaping our understanding of the universe.

What are the three types of Aries?

What are the three types of Aries?

Astrology is an ancient art of observation and interpretation that can be broken down into three distinct types: Aries 1, Aries 2, and Aries 3. Aries 1 is a hot, fiery Aries sign, ruled by Mars, the action planet. Aries 1s are known for their fiery energy and determination, often seen as the “March Aries” in memes. Aries 2 is a fearless leader, born in March 31-April 9, and is a fiery artist born in April 10-20.

The phenomenon of March Aries vs. April Aries or October Scorpios vs. November Scorpios can be attributed to the decans, ten-degree intervals of the zodiac or ten-day periods of the year. Decans have been used in magical, spiritual, and astrological work since the 3rd millennium BCE.

Aries 1s are known for their relentless fighting spirit, often seen in pop stars, unfiltered opinions, and wild children. They are known for their unwavering determination and ability to push through injuries to achieve success. Aries 1s are not afraid to push through challenges and are a testament to the complexity of astrology.

What is Aries energy?

What is Aries energy?

Aries energy is hot, impulsive, and direct, ruled by Mars, the planet of drive and desire. Although Mars shares a name with the god of war, Aries carries a powerful drive and determination, not reason or intellect. This confidence can sometimes seem like aggression, but it is more likely a straightforward force of will. While Aries’ energy lends itself to conflict, it is less likely to be simmering grudges or resentments.

Aries is not the most thoughtful or careful of the signs, so it’s not the best time for long-term planning or thinking ahead. Instead, Aries is more likely to get what they want by asking for it rather than dropping hints or playing games. Being direct during Aries season can unlock powers you didn’t know you possessed.

Aries season can provide the fire you need to feel alive, assert yourself, and make a bright change in your life. Aries season invites you to embody that kind of joyful, commanding beauty, like Aretha Franklin or Celine Dion. Be that fearlessly, assuredly yourself, and embody the joyful, commanding beauty that Aries symbolizes.

What is the spirituality of an Aries?

They love learning and hearing about different religions and spiritual practices.

Who is Aries’ soulmate?

Aries and Taurus are not typically considered to be soulmates due to the divergence of their worldviews. Nevertheless, they exhibit analogous characteristics, which could render them a suitable match for Aries.

What does the Bible say about astrology?

What does the Bible say about astrology?

In Matthew 28:18, Jesus asserts that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to him. This contradicts biblical wisdom, as chasing after false gods is a sin. There is no biblical evidence that God has given authority to stars or astrologists. Pursuing predictions about our destiny or personality is biblically sinful, as it takes power from God and gives it to something other than God. A horoscope cannot change what God has already ordained before we were even created.

  • Aries rising here, with Mercury in Aries and Mars in Scorpio. I’ve been traveled alone to over 50 countries and I tell my friends exactly a phrase Rick mentioned. That I feel so much comfort being in a place where I don’t know anyone and don’t speak the language. That for other people it can be very threatening and uncomfortable. I just love that!

  • Love this! As an Aries sun looking for insight on the sign, most of what I’ve found has been very simplistic and unflattering, but I am really loving this nuanced discussion. To the point you raised about being funny, I have been told I am funny but it is in an unconscious way. The more apt description of being cheeky, addressing a situation in the moment with a sly comment…bold but in a manner that doesn’t garner offense. Not premeditated-spontaneous.

  • You were spot on with Aries being selfish but expanding the self to a larger net. I’m Aries and I am aware that in order for me to experience happiness the people around me need to be happy so for me to get what I want I need to fix what’s broken in the world around me, it’s exhausting! Especially when people don’t listen to your perspective and ignore your advice.

  • I’m everything you guys perfectly described in this article. Very intro and extroverted. Balance is what I consider it to be. Alone but love company. The empress and the emperor. Funny and cut throat. I’m not understanding the charts yet but I’m resonating with what you guys are describing. April 6, 84! I love us, the us that are not narcissistic. The us that are self aware even when being impolite. This article is healing for me personally. Thanks Guys ♥️

  • As a lifelong student and lover of astrology, I’m learning and relearning much from your podcasts since I found them recently. This one nailed my Martian Spirit with a huge stellium in the 4th house with Scorpio asc. Im very intense and all this Mars energy there makes for a real fierce mother bear. As a new empty nester and don’t know what to do with all the bent up Aries bear mama energy so I’m studying to be a professional astrologer lol. It has really given me a ton of insight and understanding into who I am in terms of a Mars perspective and why I am so weirdly independent and could never conform even under threats and duress. They call it selfish. I call it self directed. Aries simply cannot follow and that is a very misunderstood, undervalued trait and looked down upon for a lady in our recent past. We Aries folk have a natural internal direction and focused indignation on what to do and where to go next. Husbands don’t like that. Bosses don’t like that. Parents don’t like that. People think that its rude and condecending to be forthright and opinionated and if you’re Aries female the world doesn’t respond well to that sort of independent type thinking.. My favorite astrologer Linda Goodman wrote of the Aries woman saying she will fight all of her own battles and yours to. And also that the world resents a female that thinks she knows better and that talks back to it. And in my 54 years, I have never known anything to be ring more true or in resemblance of my existence here as an Aries woman.

  • I have an aries stellium in the 12th house- my sun, mercury, venus, and saturn all very close together, and trining my pluto. I’m kind of a Pisces-Aries person since I am also on the cusp, and I have that 12th house emphasis. I gained a deeper understanding of myself from this article. Another association of Aries that came to mind while listening to this was Aries as the soldier on the front-lines, bravely leading the way for everyone else to follow, but also the one who has to face the brunt of the violence due to being at the front, and absorb much of the pain for everyone else. Like what was discussed in the article, that also connects to the idea of Aries as the “Hero”, someone who is willing to put themselves in danger, face pain and risk it all to save the vulnerable and victimized. BUT what Aries has to remember is that despite having the capacity to absorb the pain of others and carry their wounds, they also need to take the time to allow themselves to heal from the battle and be ok with being vulnerable. Aries needs to be reminded that they dont have to be “tough” all the time, and that they CAN be the baby of the zodiac and let someone else shield them too. I work as a Refugee Resettlement case manager, and I hear painful stories everyday from my clients about the violence they experienced in their home countries. While my job is to help them get resettled in the US, I also feel like a buffer for them. I cant take away their painful histories, but I can at least listen and absorb their stories and try to make their new life in the US easier.

  • Another interesting point about Aries as the head and initiator of new light,” is the normal path of a newborn is headfirst, coming or going into the light from the dark womb “winter” to take its first breath “the initial quickening processes of consciousness.” The process of life is depicted by Aries as the pivot point of the Spring equinox.

  • Libraquarian here. So stoked for this series. Thank you for this! And I would absolutely love, if there’s any way for us to connect other than commenting on your podcast, to one day join you on your podcast, talking about Plutonian/ Venusian and Aquarius archetypal fusion. And just being Plutonian in general from a more personal standpoint. All the love, Charise aka Change and Rise ✨

  • Yay! Another great series begins! I love Rick and Chris together, never a dull moment. Shatner (Kirk) was also an Aries, forgive me if you mention later – am just at the Campbell part, but have Mars in Aries, so had to butt in NOW. Campbell was my Aries mum’s mentor (as was Jung, though not ‘live’) and with Aries mentor zeal, she passed the lessons down to me. JC sometimes made stuff up to fill in the blanks, for the sake of a good story 😉 But definitely a pioneer for bringing comparative mythology to the mainstream. Certainly Star ‘Trek’ (pioneer) and Star ‘Wars’ (battle) came to us via Aries brains. That Mars-destined trillionaire who hopes to rescue the tweets in distress has Mars conjunct his North Node, too. I love that interp of the symbol for Aries being the sprouting seed – bang on. This sign is the hero, but also a kind of sacrificial hero, that knows ‘instinctively’ through death it will live again! Thanks so much…now to resume listening. (Btw, my vehicle – this too-old browser – is so slow I nearly popped a cork waiting to sign into to comment. Sun’s on my Mars, today…)

  • I haven’t listened in yet but I will be tomorrow ! I am an Aries Sun, Venus and Mercury. The one thing I can say about being an Aries myself is I don’t fear anything or anyone, except the universe. So fearless would be my first word, loner since I don’t mind doing anything solo, quick wit, my mouth moves faster than my brain sometimes 🤭, brutally honest – I’d rather be that than a liar. Ok I’ll stop here, don’t want to bore you with all my good traits 😬

  • I can see the Saturn (slow) and Mars (fast) energy in here but thank God Chris and Rick were evolved enough beings that they found a way to meet halfway. Chris is detail oriented and made sure that every box was ticked while Rick was straight to the point and throws a little quirkiness into the mix to prevent us getting drowsy.

  • Aries asserts – knows how to say no and knows how to get to the point, get the information they need etc. I love being an Aries Sun even though many descriptions do not fit me. I think this is because I have Virgo ASC qunicunx its Aries Mercury ruler. Also, exalted Mars in Cap. I can really relate to Aries – we appreciate the directness and assertiveness in each other and not be threatened by it. Plus – we do love passion! Ha. Enthusiasm indeed. PS – I had two Leo bosses who told me in my first review that I had a lot of spark ! Ha I stayed with them for years – very compatible.

  • “I know what I like and I don’t like instantaneously” — as an Aries, this is one of the hardest things for me to explain bc the way I feel about people is 90% indifferent but 5% immediately know we are supposed to be connected and 5% immediately know they are going to fuck someone over, to stay away from them, etc. No one understands that feeling.

  • This is so wonderful! Thank you Chris! Thank you Rick! Such a fabulous unpacking of Aries! My spouse and father are both Aries Sun peeps and when I think of the quality of funny, I feel like they and other Aries that I know or meet are charismatic and certainly jovial. I think too of the energy supporting this in this sign, is the child, youthfulness of Aries, the bravery to say something or act silly when others might hold back, to compete for attention and to be quick witted and sometimes sarcastic too and at the same, they can say something that totally gets them in trouble. So excited to see the other 11 unfold! 🙏☺️❤️

  • I tried to write religion books but religion kept on changing with the times, so I tossed it out the window and I teach religion of the now. The universe is recreated every second. :face-blue-smiling: I really can relate to what this astrologer has found in each universe of a life time. Just pray that if god chews us up, that we are put back together in a real fine way. One should have balance, to have alone time without being alone. Society has let unholy leaders, lead, that is un true in the so called 5-D. Take a giant step out of the 3-D. :planet-orange-purple-ring: Thanks Chris and Rick !

  • I have got Venus, Mercury, Mars and Moon in the 5th house of Aries. I would say definitely quick, I also loved The Hero story. I don’t like gambling though. Your description explained soo many things for me, it resonated. I think Mars in Aries is a good thing, I don’t like fighting, and volatile situations. I think it makes you very kind person, but definitely blunt 😁 and maybe rude to other people, but I don’t see it that way. I just don’t have time to beat around the bush. Also the solitude part is very true.

  • 💜💙My favourite must see/listen podcasts are:- 💙💜 Episode 175 – signs of the zodiac part 1 Episode 180 – signs of the zodiac part 2 Episode 153 – annual profections Episode 231 – significations of the houses 1-6 Episode 233 – significations of the houses 7-12 Episode 64 – is an oldie but a goodie covering the 7 traditional planets Perfect beginner bundle prior to purchasing Hellenistic Astrology: The study of fate and fortune by Chris Brennan – available in all fine book stores

  • Suggestion for this series: compare the sign to its elemental compatriots. You guys touched upon it a little with a mention of Leo but I’m keen to go further in understanding how an Aries is similar and different from a Leo and from a Sagittarius. Also perhaps how planets behave through the decans of a sign, i.e. what does it mean for the face of Aries to change according to its decanic ruler.

  • At 2:00:36 describes my Aries personality to a Tee. I do not want to be remembered based upon the world’s legacy. Funny I was asked to write the eulogy for and at a Libra’s funeral. The poem I chose was “Shakespeare’s Sonnet 71” and as I read this i could the faces of the loved ones at the congregation drop. The whole procession to me was very unnecessary but then again it was a Libra funeral. Makes sense. Unlike Scorpios who want to be immortalized, an Aries already knows they are immortal. You guys missed out on the Reborn Sun Aries, although Rick mentioned the Aries who likes to be alone and hermitic.

  • I appreciate this thorough exploration of the zodiac sign energies and archetypes associated with Aries. I am a sun sign Pisces and moon sign Scorpio, but my rising sign is Aries, my mars is in Aries, and my north node is in Aries, all in my first house. I am very much an Aries in everyway described, with esoteric/ humanitarian/ artistic/ rebel with a cause flavors added into the mix. Looking forward to hearing about the other signs!

  • I love Aries BECAUSE Aries does not give 2 flying flips about any special fragile snowflakes amidst the wake of their refreshing outspokenness. The sign least likely to act out of egocentricity, and most likely to be perceived as egocentric because it’s a type of whimsical freedom that dies and is forgotten can be felt again by the dream-crushers of the world… People who are so afflicted by any/everything, and who let petulance rule their lives, I see time and time again persecuting the childlike Aries energy no matter who it comes from, why, and how. As a quadruple, 8th house Aquarian with an 11th house-ruled Aries Saturn placement….My closest friendships are with my Aries girls. Some of the wisest, refreshing souls if they are given patience and space to be who they are. IgoddamnloveAries

  • I’m a taurus sun, but I have moon and venus in Aries and a scorpio north node in the first house. I’m very aware of my independence and need for independence, and I feel bad sometimes for other people in my life who feel like I don’t need them, which is true, but it doesn’t mean I don’t love them. I have a scorpio friend who has a cancer moon, and I can feel his disappointment sometimes when I’m so self-directed. I have a mars in cancer however, so I do understand their need

  • I love it, GREAT work. Chris and Rick. I could feel the powerful Aries presence in Rick. ♈️🌞 ♋️🌝 ♑️☝️I think my Capricorn rising saved me on many occasions from my reckless impulsivity. I also have Jupiter in the tenth house. I also have Mercury in Aries. This was such an interesting podcast. You’re both amazing. You just got a new subscriber Chris and Rick as well.

  • 1:32 minutes. Rick! Your few words on MARS IN THE TWELFTH HOUSE were golden! About “undoing”. I have Mars in Aries in twelfth house. I’ve never heard, before, what you said. I did the fasting, meditation route you described. Would love to hear more! How about a article on this on your website? Fantastic episode!

  • 58:45 the interesting thing about Chris rock is that he stopped himself from saying something that would have escalated the situation at the Oscars. You can hear him say something like “I could say…” And you can tell he wants to say something, maybe something cutting or mean, but he stops himself. A lot of Aries would not have been able to resist that temptation

  • Another great exemple chart is Rihanna’s chart, with the Moon, Venus and Jupiter on the ascendant! And she’s very much all about that, I mean, the album’s names and songs like “Unapologetic” “Only Girl” “Rude Boy” etc fits so much the archetype for Aries. Recently she was nominated national Hero of Barbados, her country of origin. Even though she’s an early degree Pisces Sun, I think the Aries influence in her personality stands out in such a way that is so easy to spot on!

  • Wonderful episode! I’m so excited for this series. I do wish Mars in each sign and house and those expressions had been touched on a bit more. They spoke about Mars in Cap, Virgo, Leo, and of course Aries, and a few house placements but it would have been nice to hear these from Aries to Pisces and 1st to 12H perspective. (Says me with natal Mars in Libra trying to balance the scales☺️). Overall, this is still one of my favorite episodes.🤍✨💫

  • Aries moon I was told when my chart was read by a Jungian astrologer denotes an overbearing, non nurturing mother and a distant or absent father. Freud had this placement reflecting his negative relationship with women and his critical theories about the feminine that brought his relationship with Jung to an end, means the person raises themselves like an emotional orphan. There is a primal need to find the connection with the mother archetype. For women, work is needed to develop nurturing relationships with women, they need to trust and to forgive hard to do with such a deep wound. I keep track of people with this placement to see how they manage this placement, they tend to be inventive, independent, can be hurtful insensitive, hard to reach, provocative. Bernie Sanders, Ellen Degeneris, Whitney Houston to name a few.

  • Back again with another comment… Rick, I think you are talking about the ‘Tao of Steve’ (Steve McQueen, Aries): “Have no needs, be excellent, be gone.” Re Aries as ‘funny’. Rather, it’s the sign of the Fool archetype; the wise Fool (on the hill) or ‘wise child’. In the medieval court, the Fool was the only one permitted to roast the King (Leo) and royals, to tell the truth and keep them from getting too full of themselves. He saw/told all, and was not always kind about it. An outcast, often disfigured or ugly (Mars), he might have even been angry or hateful (Mars). Charlie Chaplin (Aries) – well, who was he famous for impersonating? That ‘Great Dictator’, Adolf Hitler (“He stole my mustache”, said CC…this meant war!). Only Mars knows the secret weapon of how to essentially deflate an erection! The truth can wound, but can also be funny. By making us see/laugh at ourselves, the Fool disarms, as well as releasing us from ego bondage. By making us laugh at power, he releases us, even if just briefly, from their spell. Ricky Gervais, commenting on the Chris Rock incident, said, “If you can laugh at yourself, you’re bullet-proof.” A comrade recently said of Volodymir Zelenskyy, beloved comedian turned wartime leader (Mars in Leo), “He will not back down, because he is insane – in a good way.”

  • Headstrong, noli me tangere, cut the crap and get to the point, independent, don’t just talk instead DO, straightforward, daring, tough lover, prove your worth or leave, HONEST, protective, do not honk my horn only I do that as it is mine, fast, reliable, emotional, survivor, loyal, furious with a reason, good at heart, brave, loner, fighter, no rutine thank you very much, energy till burnout, explorer, inspiring, hothead, be in the moment, dislike of “authorities” outside of themselves, take the lead, passionate, brisk, outspoken, yeah and sincere. Wonderful joke about Descartes! Ha, ha, ha! Sincerely and thank you.

  • NAiLED IT ☆☆☆☆☆♡ This took me back in time, to my early teens, reading my 1st ever book on Astrology, Linda Goodmans Love Signs, in my suburban bedroom, in the Scottish city of Glasgow, mid70’s . Glasgow must surely be Aries .where the world famous glasgow kiss was born, knife culture, and constant engaging in the two F’s, Fighting & F**king !!! lol Who doesnt LOVE the BUSYness of Springtime

  • Yes rebelliousness, the boss. Engaged yes until we decide not worth it to be. Power house yes but truly patient and caring, humanitarian. Eternally childlike, loving without holding grudges. But truly the OG bad ass. Athletic, competitive, driven. Sometimes reckless risk taker, the Fool of Tarot yet a true Emperor. Yes lol, an interruptor, ADD tendencies? Yea. A true warrior without sense of holding grudges. Truly spontaneous

  • Late Aries rising (square Mars at 0 Leo). My chiropractor keeps on correcting my posture, “put your head back!” I have 2 siblings who are Aries sun. When talking they sound like a machine gun, I hear that in Rick too. And re: Gary Kasparov, just heard a ted talk by him yesterday and I could hear the rat-tat-tat and thought, Aries! but didn’t have time to look up his chart.

  • Soooo true! Aries ascendant. Rahu return conjunct my ascendant in Ashwini nakshatra. Head first leaning forward like a Michael Jackson lean on an electric unicycle. I got into this hobby recently. The need for speeeeeeed and fascination for horse like things with my Rahu and ascendant in Ashwini nakshatra. My dog is a whippet with a long neck and legs with a running stride like a horse. TY.

  • I wanna add.. Even aries is a risk taker, which can be,, reckless,, we r very RESPONSABILE..,commited, sometimes for long time, even hurt us to the core.. Everybody says we are the,, babe,, of the zodiac, but let just remember that, we are the emperor in Tarot.. Which we do care of every each,, soul… Even we throwing tantrum sometimes.. But just because we are not appreaciated.sun, mercury, venus, saturn, rising ♈in European horoscope. Namaste 🙏

  • 32:45 that’s very true! My very wise little cousin with an Aries Sun who was around 7- 8 years old at the time was, and still is today, a sucker for crazy scary rollercoasters. At that time she had gone on way scarier ones than I had the courage to, and I joked and said to her “I’m not as brave as you” and she said “that’s not true, being brave is doing something in spite of your fears. When I go on this rollercoaster I’m not being braver than you because I don’t think it’s as scary as you think, but when you go on a rollercoaster you think is as scary as I think this one is, you’re being just as brave”. And I couldn’t believe those words came out of her, but that was the Aries in her

  • Aries anger is gone in a nanosecond. As a child if I had a fight with my scorpion mom she told me it infuriated her I would come back in the room and acting nice and fine and she was just stewing. My son as a Scorpio just holds onto anger from a wrong for years. And so true about focus and being thought of as rude. If I am in the process of here and now and focus I have no room for accommodating a useless formality

  • Thank you for this. Aries sun n Venus, 3H, Sagittarius moon 11H, Aquarius rising, Uranus chart ruler with 9H stellium. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🌬. Aries is pure energy which the general population cannot stand. The mistake for Aries is usually trying to get and go along with the current trends in society. Aries is supposed to pioneer trends along with Aquarius and not to follow. They Lead. I love braggards, because it is pure energy of doing. I love Sagittarius (Jay-Z), energy all day. Never backup from challenges which most people who claim to be humble, wiser or “nonsore losers”, evade occasionally.

  • Thank you 🙏🏻, great insight into Aries by you super astrologers. The Thema Mundi is interesting as it puts Aries in 10th house where the sun ( exulted) is highest in the sky 🤔. Also mentioned in the Sanskrit Phaladipika by Mantreswara that a moving star ( planets) become more powerful when it is most brightest like phases of the moon, so if sun is in Libra ( fallen ) and moon is opposite in Aries we have a fall moon and Aries is powerful in regards to the the Moon being full 🤔

  • 00:38:44 – Talking Star Wars, A New Hope was released while Venus, Mars, and the South Node were in Aries, with a sign-based trine to Saturn in Leo, and Neptune in Sagittarius. Pluto and North Node in Libra. (5/25/1977). This all plays with Mark Hamill’s Jupiter in Aries, Pluto and Mars in Leo, and Sun, Saturn, and Neptune in Libra. (9/25/1951). So awesome.

  • Great work Chris. I think most of the keywords for Aries have been covered. I can’t think of anything more. One thing I noticed in this podcast was your use of Mars and Aries interchangeably, e.g., Mars being in any sign, say Gemini, is giving the sign the Aries energy. So I come out with the notion that Mars is Aries and Vice-Versa. If that is so, where does Scorpio fit into this scheme?

  • At 1:50:00 or so, the description of extraversion and introversion would have been better if you had referred to Jung’s original definitions. The extrovert focuses on, and derives value from, what is found in the external world, whereas the introvert evaluates everything in terms of their internal structure and state. Sociability vs. shyness is a different, but loosely related distinction. —Sincerely, An Introverted Aries Who Can Talk Your Ear Off

  • Chris, I would LOVE to see you interview Karen Curry Parker about how Human Design and Astrology interrelate and how they differ. For example, I resonate deeply with both my birth chart AND my body graph. I’m a Cancer Sun, Gemini Moon Stellium, Aquarius Rising. I don’t have a lot of Aries influence in my birth chart. However, in Human Design, I’m a Manifestor AKA Initiator. Perhaps, this is why Aries energy and I have a little bit of a tough time. We’re both fire starters, in our own ways.

  • 1:24 nice to know this I do not have any placements in Aries, cardinal and mutable, only fixed placements. Aries for me is the children of the zodiac, all people with Aries strong in the chart, are very cleaver since the youngest age. A friend for my mother, have two granddaughters, the youngest is very clevar for her young age, she with one year, speak, walk and run looking one children odf 5 years old.

  • Aries Sun Moon & Mercury, Taurus Jupiter in 5th house. Saturn & Uranus Capricorn 1st house dear Lawd. Imposter Syndrome, spiritual but self critical, privately eccentric, fluid thinking, inventor obsessed, solution oriented, aggressive care taker, eldest of my siblings by 7 years, multi disciplinary public artist, Analog & sex/kink educator. Yep…

  • Love the collab with Rick. He is by far my favorite person in therms of presentation. He talks so lively about this topic, it’s just addictive! Funny to see Rick also has his Sun, Mercury and Venus in Aries. Might be why his communication suits me so well haha. I am definately going to check out the Scorpio one after this, since that contains my AC, Moon and Pluto. Great series Chris! We share the same first name btw 😁

  • Right off the bat, you read me. Then you continued to read me on being in a questionable relationship. Whatever the case, in the reading you, said my guides are calling, well, they’re screaming lol. I’m sure getting out of a hole! I’m paying off my home in about 5 months. It was aHUGE battle🤦‍♂️ The fool card or magician always comes up for me. My mind runs like an out of control machine lol. Overthinker to the max🙄 I write and am always complimented. Genuinely. I need to print my words. I’m destined to move forward. I don’t have the luxury of slacking. I have crazy ambitions that remarkably, may pan out I can’t believe you’re saying “protection”. I’m protected. The angels say. I’m manipulative. But I know exactly what you mean. I manipulate with love and cooperation. Manipulation, in the the context of the reading, I think, is something cancers don’t do. Cancers move away from uncooperative people. You’re right on the money. I write and am always complimented. Genuinely. I need to print my words. I’m destined to move forward. I don’t have the luxury of slacking. I’m writing as I listen to the reading. Change is the only constant. Amazing🌞

  • I revisited this one as an experiment. It’s fitting in one way, my 8th house profection (aries) ends next week and Aries isn’t a sign I pay attention to.. 😝 but I’ve also been wanting to understand detriment a little better which seems a semi hot button issue in astrology. Of course, mars in libra which is also my spirit animal which is also important because I have a day chart. I had trouble pinpointing how mars is malefic and (like what Rick said) I actually really like that mars placement. In trying to understand it better it’s a lot of sifting through “passive aggressive” generalizations which isn’t really helpful. A more traditional Indian astrologer stated the issue is mars is very independent where, in detriment, it puts an excessive emphasis on (in binary terms) the opposite sex. Still, it sounds like a fantastic problem to have. It kind of makes sense as a malefic in various possible ways, but still. Yes, Venus sign ruled it can make mars docile which is true about mars in libra (sight possible passive aggression). I did find looking at the opposite sign of the detriment as helping pinpoint the “detriment” and how it’s “malefic”. Due to ruler of spirit, I don’t mind using a psychological approach with a more deterministic Hellenistic view; it makes absolute sense that it wants an alignment of aries type ambitions through libra partnerships as opposed to individual which, because it’s a 2nd house libra, adds a malefic 2nd house influence. Aka, if it’s not aligned right either by exact ambitions or complementary they can be pushed aside for the partner which obviously can cause major hits to the house of possessions/values/finances.

  • That is so interesting that 18:45 gnosticism in about that y’all said something so obvious it just needed make sense to me that’s crazy what does that mean for me though? I’m an Aries for 1687 and then I was born at 3:53 a.m. so my moon sign of Scorpio and that was a hard pill to swallow there for a minute but I didn’t necessarily know I don’t think I put the two together cuz you were already together I think it’s probably what happened and my brain..bless my heart.. I’m just in MarsBarStarGar

  • Chris made me shed a tear at 1:55:42 reminding not only to Rick that you were really aware of his career with Jawer but also kinda admired their work at wishing to have one of those yearly planners they did. I really understood now your soberness and solemn tone at astrology, which now i get it comes from a profound appreciation and caring about knowledge and the collection of multiple founders of knowledge… it’s stunning, because i noted when Rick paused at first talking about Jawer, that was a dark moment. You did a good closure taking care of coming back at it to go ahead with the subject too…

  • That’s is very accurate, my birthday is Abril 10 i born 1957 everything, i here is me i doing the same thing Stars say something them ifor some think else, i very difficult i here some 1 else. • 30:14 it’s like time slows down for everyone within our bubble, because we’re going so fast it’s like the beginning of a spaceship departure and we’re all in the cockpit and everyone’s screaming their @$$3$ off because they’re so very in the moment, lol. I bring that energy with me in any competition, lol.

  • Wow, this was wonderful and affirming for me, one who does not spend much time nor thought on astrology. I must say I am blown away by you both. Thank you! I will add one other description of Aries, which has always stayed with me through destruction, reflection and rebuilding myself too many times to count I borrow this from a qoute I can not recall by who SCARLETT O’HARA line….with fist raise to the sky, “So long as I am alive, I will never be hungry or cold again”

  • This was really good! I have an Aries moon and I didn’t really resonate with the mean Aries stereotype, although I can be and was in my youth, but this all made sense. I see the Aries traits I possess and things people say about me in this. I’m also fire dominant with 4 Sag planets (plus SN )so that probably muddied the water for me a bit. -Not to mention my moon being in 9th (whole) house. I appreciate this. It’s definitely something I needed to see! (And yes, there is a left eye issue 🤯)

  • I’m an hour and 15 min in! I’m hoping to hear about mercury in Aries… Maybe in conjunction to the sun and also moon . My daughter is mercury & conjunct Aries ♈️ and @ 2 years old … she jumped like a diver into the 🏊‍♀️ pool 🤣🤣🤣 everyone freaked out about that except me lol. Her Aries mama knew it was an impulsive act of wanting to experience what she was perusal others do! And that is how she rolls … fearless acts of wanting to experience things all the time without hesitation…just taking a leap for real 😳 Also you touched on braggers, between Leo and Aries thou? Leo wins Bragg

  • I’m glad there was delineation. To be “self-possessed” is not to be confused with narcissism. Self-possession is an awareness to higher Aries, states of their realization, which translates to something else, either negative or positive. Impulsive invites to question one’s motives, and so forth. We’re uncomplicated people who through our explorative efforts take the risks to cut through the complexity with simplicity (being direct and Just), to open the way for others. Aries needs equals. But, the equal is a partner not the competition. An addition, not an answer, Aries, have many questions as any child. Ask any child, who grows up and wishes they had made other decisions will still look for the answer, until: HE/SHE realizes that I AM is our nature. We are. Nothing more is necessary for we are the newborn in the family of our society. We’re doctors, scientists, actors, scientists, sociologists, and important people without a formal title. Our fault is that some of us assert ourselves to the expense of our own happiness. But, this aspect covers everybody. I mean, we’re all connected.

  • My rising and moon sign is ARIES and SAG sun. Also, my Mars, Venus, and Jupiter are all in Scorpio. My ex-husband is ARIES sun, SCORPIO rising, and CAP moon. It was like seeing myself in the mirror, and I couldn’t stand that, lol. I used to be the queen in my kingdom and not used to another ruler who harbored negative feelings of the past, which made him vindictive and revengeful. Often, I don’t even know what he was mad about as I moved on! While he was ruminating in the past, which is meaningless in my world!

  • Aries : Fire of Instictual Intuitive. ♤ Yes, I Am Aries and I always feel everything is me, it’s all my energy. And in reality it actually is. That’s the fundamental realization one had at the end of human journey. ♤ Autonomy, sovereignty, Independence and authenticity is most fundamental to me. ♤ Aries is always right here, right now. ♤ Haha..yeah we do gamble on life itself. ♤ That picture describing the aries is perfect.

  • Tom Segura is one of the funniest stand-up comedians hands down. he doesn’t care if his highly crass/inappropriate jokes offend the weak, he gets roaring laughter no matter what. My boyfriend got us REALLY good floor seats to go and see him in Baton Rouge and I am so beyond excited. I can’t wait to hear him possibly roast my state even more than he did in his last 2 netflix specials LMAO love that man so much

  • 1:16:05 i have a saturn in Aries and Mars in virgo, and I’m an Aquarius rising. But unlike him, I am fearful, and even the speed gives me vertigo. So much so that I still don’t know how to drive a car because I’m afraid of killing myself or someone. Maybe I should take a chance and jump on a motorcycle. LOL

  • The comment about the icon of Aries as the Ram as a singularity sprouting into two reminds me of the East Asian concept of the Tao becoming the two (Yin and Yang) and then becoming 10,000 things…I enjoy finding similarities and congruent philosophies. I didn’t know the connection with cardinal signs as the “hinge” or gate or a pivot, and I liked learning that about Stonehenge.

  • One thing I feel is overlooked about Aries, is that, the enterprising, momentous quality that we have can also fuel order and discipline. Aries doesn’t always mean chaos if our motives don’t require it. Then again I have Saturn & Uranus in Capricorn, in the 1st house. Aries means energy. The contained explosion of the constant flow expressed through us repressed. Also Aries can also TAKE a lot of aggression not just give it.

  • This podcast was amazing! I was led here by interest in Rick Levine, and astrology (again) lately. I hope you are able to do one a month for each sign as you plan. Thank you for your work on this online venue. I’ve recently been paying attention to astrology again because of world events, mainly. I studied the basics for a year with an astrologer in a class back in the 80s. I am so interested in how drawn I am to learning again in this tech world. I kept only a third, maybe half of my astrology books over the past 3 decades and now see there is more information online than on the shelf in the dwindling bookstores in my western Colorado area. Thanks again and I wish you success. I’m double Sag with Pisces moon. I’m way too emotional lately and O.M.G. this is good medicine. Blessings.

  • The 2 of you together on the podcast is awesome. The flow of energy is so natural. I’m Venus in Aries and I know I scare people. Gemini, Scorpio moon… Keep in mind Cancer rising. I can leave scars with my words and I don’t mean to hurt people, unless you hurt me. I try to explain my thinking and I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. And I’m capable of forgiving anything and almost everything. Once I show you what I mean. I hope people understand bc it’s legit and honest. But he’ll yeah. I can trigger people. This is a great episode in understanding Aries. 👍

  • I really like that Rick is the guest on this one because I’m using Uranus transits to delineate 8th house aries lots. I actually put finishing cosmos and psyche on hold, pushed up the Archai Journal Saturn edition before I revisit the Venus episode finding it’d make more sense to finish it when I reached revisiting the outer planet episodes. Plus, I had a cold over Easter not wanting to push myself to speed read. Since I have no planetary placements in aries and libra mars rules the 8th.. I’ll spare the comments with libra mars passive aggressive keywords. The last time I did I stated Kool Aid Man. Lot of nemesis and necessity is there, I can’t help it. So is spirit so… I’m going to give my half finished Archai Journal experience in a comment because it’s actually relevant to a topic I’m actually mildly into starting to take on very soon because the topic came up back to back with Saturn. I’m enjoying reading it so far where I plan to read all of them so what may sound like a criticism isn’t at all. I liked that the opening was excessively harsh while also finding it disagreeable where it triggered my inner childish hipster “irony” button where I didn’t know if the irony was intentional or just wonderfully ironic as said. “You’re doing the Saturn thing now…” I would describe Saturn as a child molesting priest, but it had great information knowing Saturn can have some taboo qualities. It’s a maturity theme after all. Later, another Saturn like take over with an argument that Saturn is feminine.

  • I think and feel you covered the significations thoroughly so I don’t believe I could add anything. However some of what you shared did spark curiosity and questions for me…. I noticed in your analogoy and examples of the pioneer spirit/archetype and Aries that many of the examples were of people and things that weren’t necessarily unkown to many… which then made me think/wonder if the there is a correlation, or celebratisation of arien qualities in neo capatalist/western culture? It’s not what you feel, where come from or where you’re going it’s are you winning right now?…🤔

  • Oh this was great… I’m having an Aries moment being impatient for my signs to pop up. I have mars in Aries. My bf is an Aries and he does walk like one. I remember reading that years ago and it’s true! He is rude, arrogant, and selfish. After years of trying to help him, I can’t. He can gamble love away on top of that mountain.

  • I agree about the pioneer influence in Aries. Every time I start a project it never turns out like a preconceived photo! It evolves as I go along and changes are made or I tweek it certain ways that comes to mind as I go. A work of progress in motion until I am completely satisfied with the outcome. It May require going back to move things around or completely change it. Depending on my view of how it looks, or satisfies my many likes or dislikes during the process. Does that make sense???

  • Not really on topic, (kind of a dumb question) but I’ve wondered for a while that if the zodiac in western astrology is more connected to the seasons rather than the actual constellations, as opposed to sidereal and Vedic astrology, – and the significations of the signs often have strong connections to the different seasons of the northern hemisphere (since that is the part of the globe in which western astrology was developed), why don’t people born in the Southern Hemisphere who practice western astrology reverse the zodiac wheel to match the seasons to the signs? It is a very radical thought of course, and also perhaps incorrect since you would in that case completely diverge from the significance of the actual constellations. But on the other hand, it feels like the seasonal climate plays such a big role in the archetypes of the zodiac in the very “seasonal” western astrology. Or maybe the archetypes are independent of the temperature of a particular season… I remember Austin saying something about the modalities only being the important thing – and that it doesn’t matter if Libra marks the beginning of spring or fall – it’s that it marks the beginning of the season. And that fixed is the middle of a season and the mutable is the transitional part of a season. So Libra can be both a “spring sign” and a “fall sign”. But a part of me wants to say that Aries is a very “spring-y” sign and Libra is a very “fall-y” sign. Is it dumb to wonder if the zodiac should be reversed in the Southern Hemisphere?

  • Not necessarily “shaking the hand” of everyone. I think here it would depend upon whether there’s a connection to Taurus. Taurus is more the sign which depicts physical contact and not Aries. In another example of Aries being sporty, I do not think so. I agree with action oriented, but I think with sports, the Aries would need to draw on the Leo and to be a contact sport, it would draw on that Taurus. I think early astrologers did not break the signs apart quite enough and got them tangled in definition. It’s tough to define one sign because the signs are so entangled.

  • I watched my son and his partner play a game and they did play in the way of their characters. It was a warrior (Aries) type article game. My son is a First House Scorpio and his partner is Fifth House Aries. My son plowed into the middle of the game and stood their and fought. His partner displayed constant motion and did circles around him. This does illustrate the speed and quickness of Aries and the longevity and power of Scorpio. Also illustrates how both support one another.

  • i always think of capricorn as being one of the wittiest signs, i think because of their wealth of (often difficult) life experience and understanding of boundaries so they can walk right up to the edge of it w dry humor. and obv mars is exalted in capricorn so maybe thats why people are associating aries energy w humor

  • I’m an Aries and my ex is an Aries and we don’t get along well, he has a jealousy about himself toward me,he thinks he has to always teach me something, when I don’t need his help, I don’t like his energy yuck he likes to say the wrong thing all the time and he can be a bully towards shorter men because he’s tall

  • I am having the craziest synchronicities today around Aries. I went to draw my daily tarot card, thinking, “I have a lot to do today, I wouldn’t mind that Emperor energy” and bam, there he was, all dressed in red and with those ram’s horns. Overheard someone at the gym say they were an Aries, and now this article drops as I attend to making dinner. Just gonna go with it, having a listen while cooking! Thank you for all your work!
