Blue, the official mascot of the Indianapolis Colts, will be inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame this summer. Trey Mock, known as “Blue”, has been perfecting his art as the character since his days at the team. Blue is an anthropomorphic blue horse who wears a white outfit. Emilia Sims, a 4-year-old from Carmel, is the official mascot of the Centennial Colts and knows that raising children takes a team effort. He teamed up with the Indiana Department of Education to launch Blue U. The Colts are a professional American football team based in Indianapolis and compete in the National Football League (NFL). The pride in the Colts among students, staff, and athletes has blossomed into a school-wide spirit that embodies the school motto of “Virtue and Wisdom”.
The 12 most-used names of four-year college teams include names with attached adjectives such as “Blue”, “Golden”, “Flying”, or “Fighting”. Trey Mock, also known as “Blue”, has been the Colts Mascot since 2006. His wife, Emilia Sims, met while she cheered for the Colts and together they have two kids. Bolt, the Colt, will be seen at some of the upcoming events on campus and encourages students to take a photo and tag them on social media.
