Kinda scary, my 7th ruler is in the 8th house. After basic training, the toughest period of my life I felt like I had literally gone through hell and back, I met a guy in AIT who I just felt comfortable being around. Ik you did traditional planetary rulers but I found it more helpful in doing the modern planetary ruler. My 7th house ruler is Uranus and it’s in the 5th house and every single partner I’ve had I’ve met through a mutual friend via social media. It is kinda weird for me…I’ve been looking at both Vedic/ Sidereal and western astrology. In both astrological charts, I have Aquarius as my ruling descendant sign. As we know, Aquarius is both ruled by Saturn (traditional ruler) and Uranus (modern ruler). In both charts, I have Saturn (lord/ ruler of my 7th house) in the 12th house (sign: Leo and/or Cancer). In western astrology, I have the Modern ruler of Aquarius (Uranus) in my 7th house, meaning the 7th house ruler is in my 7th house… So I’ll assume that both 7th house lord in 12th and 7th house applies to my charts. Uranus is also in the rulership of my 6th house, but mainly the 7th house.
My boyfriend and I are both Taurus rising, so Mars is the traditional ruler of our 7th and Pluto is the modern ruler. I looked at both because Pluto does play an important part of our synastry chart. Okay, as a 7th house ruler in the 12th.. this is not true at all for me. And these placements remain the same in Vedic, western and whatever house you may use (equal, whole, and placidus).
