How Are Mushrooms Used For Magic?

Magic mushrooms, also known as psilocybin mushrooms, are a species of fungus that contain the hallucinogenic chemical psilocybin. This chemical can alter perception and consciousness, and its effects and risks are not directly related to eating. However, they can be brewed into a mushroom tea by grinding them, steeping them in hot water, and straining the resulting liquid.

Magic mushrooms can be consumed in various ways, depending on personal preference and desired effects. Some common methods include grinding, steeping, straining, and brewing into a mushroom tea. Psilocybin is enzymatically produced in certain types of mushrooms, which can cause altered perception, euphoria, hallucinations, anxiety, panic, and other effects. Shrooms, also known as psilocybin mushrooms, are used for spiritual, recreational, and medical purposes.

However, the production, sale, and possession of magic mushrooms are illegal in Canada. There is increasing interest in the potential therapeutic uses of these mushrooms. Some types of mushrooms contain psilocybin and psilocyn, substances that can cause hallucinations when used in large enough doses.

Magic mushrooms, also known as shrooms or mushrooms, have hallucinogenic effects when eaten. They are mostly illegal in the U.S. but have a wide range of health benefits worth exploring. Psilocybin is a hallucinogenic substance obtained from certain types of mushrooms, which are indigenous to tropical and subtropical regions.

  • I realize the stiff os beneficial, let me tell my story tho……..im 44 my son is 25. He bought two THC edibles that was 550THC AND 3500 0:00 psilocybin . He is naive and never even heard about shrooms before, said he thought it was just a special strain of THC smh lol needless to say he ate the whole 3.5grams and went to Kroger with me last night and on our way out he said hey dad n next thing i seen was him on the blacktop passed out. I thought he had a fn heart attack or something. Moral of story……..use ya damn brain😂 he is ok now btw

  • When you were eating them in the late 80s and going to Dead Shows and eating them now to be more creative and help your depression and anxiety is a way different experience. Religion and spirituality are bullshit, fictions, and fantasies but there is a profound “knowing of the self”. A nice tool for being able to take a look at what aspects of your personality you need to work on but at the same time not something that a first time user should jump into alone.

  • the ancients knows how to use it best than what we call modern science people of today. the ancient used it to assist you to reach higher conciousness and heal yourself with your bodies available gift from God. that was not just as simple as pain relief or forgeting reality and getting adicted. thats why there is a ritual for others who’ve been there to assist you. thats when experience counts in seniority, authority, wise, wisdom etc. for leadership. todays world is governed and directed by money and monopoly and we call it civilized science base policy

  • I mean, I don’t know if any one culture can claim a plant/fungi as their own, and thus, it can be culturally appropriated. It’s shitty that guy broke his promise, but shrooms would have come into wide use eventually, regardless. Now, the ceremonies or spiritual meaning of a plant can be culturally appropriated, but I don’t feel like a plant itself can be. Mother Earth doesn’t select who can use her bounties and in what way they can be used.

  • I’ve never done l s d because of my trips with this fun guy I’ve been told shrooms is actually trippier; but as I felt like I was in a article game, everything was pixelated; and altho I thought I was saying some pretty prolific stuff, what came out my mouth was always weirdly negative, even tho it was never that way in my head Never went back to it after my 20s; but the science behind it sounds very similar to m d m a, when it was still used for therapy

  • “Yet another victim of violent colonialism.” When the Spaniards came upon the Aztec and Maya, these latter two believed the sun wouldn’t rise unless virgins and children had their beating hearts cut from their bodies. The Spaniards found this unholy and denied any further human sacrifice. The natives were terrified that the sun wouldn’t rise again, but it did. You might imagine the Aztecs and Mayans looked around at each other like, “Wow, have we been killing our own innocent people in brutal fashion for no reason?” So don’t go blaming violence on colonialism alone, brainwashed little girl. The Aztec especially were vicious murderers of the innocent under spiritual falsehoods (all things spiritual are false). The acts of the colonizers were far more merciful than the lunatic-violence the tribes placed upon themselves for a lack of scientific understanding and civil order.

  • “Colonialism” is what humans do. Mushrooms do it too. Whites get saddled with it, as if it were unique to them. But don’t tell me the territorial conflicts of the Aztecs, for example, were more virtuous or less cruel, than those of the Spaniards. Likewise, “cultural appropriation” can be thought of as simply learning from, and adopting the ways of, other cultures. If you want the concept to be a negative (“no whites wearing buckskins or singing blues!” for example), you have to say “no blacks singing opera – or living in multistoried buildings, or traveling in wheeled vehicles….!” (etc) for the concept to have any integrity.

  • Any feedback for a first timer who wants to learn how to deeply meditate at will, experience the highest level of true self Love, heal childhood and adult trauma/abuse, depression and restore vitality and libido? What to take, how much, and ANY other advice anyone has to offer would be great thanks 💙

  • So what is the message from psychedelics ive been taking them in all kinds of doses(dmt,lsd,weed,2cb,thc, also mixing them together) for past 8 years and apart from my beloved state of psychosis with abstract toughts, i dont get no messages only beautifull geometry, euphoria music is extremely nice mostly i listen drum and base and stuff like tame impala, nature walks ofc are super nice etc typical enjoyer, also have tryed settings like bars, clubs, festivals and even casinos wich were horrific to watch people gamble but non the less fun 😀 and still there is no messages about saving planet or love or oneness or shit like that, i just dont beleave psychosis or psychedelic toughts and dont make up my imagination super ego fanatic journeys so no messages maybe anyone can give me 1-3 senence explaination what is the message there?

  • The Aztecs were even far more violent to their fellow Native Americans. Thousands of their fellow Indigenous Peoples were captured, tortured, had their hearts ripped out and were tossed down the steps of their Aztec Pyramids to appease their Gods. The Comanches very nearly completely wiped out the Apaches in their campaign of genocide against them. The torture they inflicted upon their fellow Native Americans was even worse than what the Germans did to their perceived foes during WW2. And the Lakota Sioux did the same when they tortured and killed the Crow tribe as they were stealing their lands, the Black Hills which were sacred to the Crow people. Many Native American tribes were mortal enemies for centuries long before the Europeans showed up. How come you didn’t mention any of this?
